David G. Demofonte lost his courageous battle on January 7, 2002 at age 35. He was a lifelong resident of Marlton. Beloved son of Elmer and Joanne Demofonte of Marlton and loving brother of John of Boalsburg PA, Steve and his wife, Connie of Marlton and Linda and her husband, Jeff Bianchi of Pine Hill. He is also survived by 2 nieces, Kellie and Elisabeth, 2 nephews, Nicholas and Michael and his longtime friend, Bill. He will be remembered for his strength, courage, friends, family and love of life. DeMore Sr., Kenneth E
KENNETH E. DeMORE SR., of Shamong, NJ died Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at the Samaritan Hospice Inpatient Center in Mt. Holly, NJ. He was 83 yrs. of age. Born in Medford, NJ, he has resided there most of his life until moving to Shamong in 1978. A retired Furnace Operator with Hoeganaes Corp. in Riverton, NJ he was with the company for 30 yrs. until his retirement in 1988. He is the Beloved Husband of Anna H. (Nee Smith) DeMore of Shamong, NJ and the Loving Father of Diana H. Frey and her husband Robert of Waterford, NJ. He is also survived by his Brother Albert DeMore of Palmyra, NJ, his Sister Dolores Phifer of Medford, NJ, his Granddaughters Julie Moore, Denise Ordille and Janice Grasso and his Great Grandchildren Stephen Moore, John, Matthew and Alexander Grasso and William Ordille. He is the father of the late Kenneth DeMore who is one of two young Medford men who died in action in the Vietnam War. Demyan, Robert J.
Robert J. Demyan, age 71, of Dennisville, NJ died on Friday, November 16, 2001, at his home after an extended illness. Born in Burleigh, NJ, he served in the United States Marine Corps. He resided in Philadelphia and later Ardsley, Pa. and was a Bell Atlantic employee for 34 years. He retired in 1988 and moved to Dennisville, NJ. He was a member of the Boy Scouts for 58 years and Scoutmaster of Troops 243, 225 and 348 for 40 years. He was president of the Dennis Township Schoolhouse Museum and a member of the Cape May Court House Kiwanis Club. He was a former president of the Philadelphia Optimist Club and a former member of the Mayfair Optimist Club.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years years, Margaret (nee Burton); his daughter and her husband, Debra and Timothy Kemmler of West Chester, Pa. and his son, Robert, Jr. of SanFranciso, CA; three grandchildren: Stefanie, Julianne and Alexander Kemmler.
Relatives and friends are invited to his service on Tuesday at 11am. at the Dennisville United Methodist Church, Main Street, Dennisville where they may call at 10 am. Dennis, Evelyn J.
Evelyn J. Dennis, 85, of Green Creek, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2008 at home. Born in Avalon to the late Charles and Deborah (Batts) Cossaboon, she was a lifetime resident of this area. She formerly worked at Sullivan's in Avalon. She was a member of Maris Stella Church and of the Upper Cape Chapter of Deborah Hospital Foundation.
Mrs. Dennis is survived by her daughters, Gloria Cipollono and her husband, Tony of Green Creek, and Patti Zeigler and her husband, David of Rio Grande; her eleven grandchildren; and fifteen and a half great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Jones.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Goshen Methodist cemetery. Dennis, Glendora E.
Glendora E. Dennis, 85, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Court House Convalescent Center. Born in Camden to the late Oklahoma and Nellie (Small) McCauley, she moved here over 35 years ago from Atlantic City. She was a member of Christ Gospel Church and enjoyed knitting, sewing, and crocheting. She was formerly employed at Woodbine Developmental Center.
Mrs. Dennis is survived by many nieces and nephews, including Fern Mozelle, Priscilla Bennett, George L. Williams, Jr., and John B. Williams; and her former husband, Al G. Dennis of Decatur, GA.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Gospel Church, 2209 Route 9 South, Whitesboro, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Seaside cemetery, Palermo.

DeNoe, William J. of Mt. Laurel on June 2, 2002. Formerly of Tenafly, NJ and Cadbury Retirement Community in Cherry Hill where he died. Age 95. Beloved husband of the late Ollie Lee Collins. William is survived by his daughters, Ann Lee Bay of Lansdale, PA and Elizabeth Jane Blank of Mt. Laurel, 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Mr DeNoe graduated from the Brooklyn Polytechnical Institute. He worked for Rockwoods Chocolate, Arma Corp., and the Bendix Aeronautical (now Allied Signal). When living in North Jersey, he was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Tenafly, NJ. His hobbies included, oil painting, photography, gardening and history, and he was a member of the Tenafly Nature Center and the Chrysanthemum Society. Mrs. Denson was a homemaker at heart. DePersia, Robert Eugene
Born August 26, 1930 in Camden, NJ to Rocco and Anna DePersia, Robert passed away after a heroic battle with cancer on October 3, 2008. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anna, four sons, Rocco A. DePersia, Esq. (Lydia), Robert E. DePersia, II, Esq. (Janet), State Police Det. Sgt. Rick DePersia (Paula) and Russell A. DePersia, Esq. (Chi) and a daughter Diane Mercer (Robert), 13 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sister Diane Holland (Charles), special cousin Florence DePersia and nephew Robert DePersia, longtime friend Harry Viscuzzi and business partner Phyllis Krichev.
A graduate of Camden Catholic High School, he also played professional football for the Zuni Indians, served in the U.S. Coast Guard and worked as a railroad fireman before embarking on a 39 year career with the Camden City Police Department and then with the Camden County Prosecutor's Office, where he holds the distinction of being both the last County Detective and the first full time Narcotics officer. He also headed the homicide unit, the fugitive unit and was a founder and leader of the Narcotics Strike Force. He was the County Range Master for over 20 years and during his career earned over 20 citations and retired with the rank of Detective Captain. During his life he also owned and operated a pizza shop, a restaurant "Robert's Roost", played piano and guitar, coached youth football and basketball, wrote a newspaper column, operated Persian Acres riding academy, founded Persian Lancers 4-H Youth Club, Persian Lancers Drill Team and the S.J. Horseman's Association. After retiring from active law enforcement, he began his career as a private detective and with his partner also opened "A Robert DePersia Agency" bail bonds business in Camden. Also survived by his sisters-in-law, Melissa and Jessica, nieces, Bernice (Beelee) and Jestina; Grandmother, Margaret DePrince, and his friend, Kimberly Petro. Teddy was predeceased by two brothers, Michael-Noah DePrince and Charles John DePrince Jr. Teddy and his two brothers were hemophiliacs whose bleeding disorders were treated with H.I.V. and Hepatitis contaminated blood products in the 1980's. DERR, W. RODMAN, JR., passed away at his home on Monday June 7. He was 71. Survived by his beloved wife of over 50 years, Sandra (nee Davis) of Atco, NJ, his brother Kenneth T. Derr and his wife, Donna of San Francisco, CA, his four children, W. Rodman Derr III of Marlton, NJ, Alice A. Hancock of Apollo Beach, FL, Vickie L. Derr of Marlton, NJ, and Sandra Derr of Schuylkill Haven, PA, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and his long-time canine friend, Suzie. A graduate of Wyoming Seminary, Rod went on to graduate with the Class of 1954 from the University of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the PA Delta Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. He was a member of the American Society of Chemical Engineers throughout his long career with Mobil Oil Corporation, where he was recognized with many patents and awards for his work as a Senior Consultant in Research and Development. Rod was a Past-President of the Republican Club of Voorhees, NJ, president of the Voorhees Township Schools Board of Education, an active member and deacon at Berlin Baptist Church, Berlin, NJ and a beloved member of their choir for over 30 years. Coretta Lynn Derry, 37, of Cape May Court House, was taken from us on Friday, June 8, 2007. She was born in Cape May Court House and was a lifetime resident of this area. She was a graduate of Middle Township High School Class of 1988. She worked as a corrections officer at Bayside State Prison. She enjoyed doing interior decorating.
Coretta is the beloved daughter of Dennis and Yvonne (nee Nye) Derry; the loving mother of Tyler; and the loving sister of Tracy Turchi, Shelly Clifton, and Tiffany Farrow. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins, including Angie Turchi, Michael Turchi, Hannah Farrow, and Tamara Farrow.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 18, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Cold Spring Presbyterian cemetery. Erminia Raimondi DeSantis, age 91 of Long Branch died Saturday, January 22, 2005 at St Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, Long Branch. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Born in Vallefiorita, Italy, she was a life resident of the shore area. She was predeceased by her husband, Rosario DeSantis in 1970. Surviving are 3 sons and 3 daughters in law, Peter R. and Cheryl DeSantis, Fair Haven; Joseph J. and Barbara DeSantis, Neptune Township; Russell R. and Susan DeSantis, Ocean Township; 2 daughters, Tina D. DeSantis, Long Branch; Mary N. DeSantis, San Francisco; 4 grandchildren, Joseph R. DeSantis, Jr, Lisa Monte, Daniel M. DeSantis, Matthew D. DeSantis; and 4 great grandchildren.

Sonya DeSantis, 88, of Woodbine, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2009 at her home. She was born in Woodbine to the late Michael and Mary Gihorski and was a lifetime resident here. She formerly worked at Feit's Clothing Factory. She was a member of St. Casimir's Church, where she was involved with the Thrift Shop. She was very active with the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and the 200 Club of Cape May and Atlantic County. She enjoyed spending time with family the most.
Mrs. DeSantis is survived by her sisters, Marion "Chukie" Oille and Jean Williams; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. She was like a mother and grandmother to Gregory Zenyuk; Bill and Gale Zenyuk and their children and grandchildren: Tory, Devon, Natalie; and Gabrielle and Kenny; Steve and Kathy Zenyuk and their daughter, Mary Beth; and Joe Zenyuk and his children, Billy, Eddie, and Kimberly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip DeSantis who was the former chief of police of Woodbine; her son, Phillip; and her brothers and sisters, Anita Orbanes, Natalie Zenyuk, Walter Gihorski, Edward Gihorski, and Michael Gihorski.

Alberta E. DeSantis, 65, of Cape May Court House, died on Friday, August 2, 2002 at Shore Memorial Hospital, Somers Point. Born in Philadelphia, she has lived here for the past 45 years coming from Tuckahoe. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and the American Legion Women's Auxillary of Cape May Court House.
She is survived by her son, Mario of Minotola; her two daughters, Jeanmarie DeSantis-Serafine of Mays Landing, and Christine Chavooshian of Brigantine; her mother, Alberta Robinette of Tuckahoe; her four sisters, Joan Clemenson and Nancy Castle, both of Estelle Manor, Patricia Shone of Tuckahoe, and Jeanne Celli of Kissimmee, FL; her two grandchildren, Brian and Bruce.
Funeral Liturgy will be said Tuesday, August 6, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, East Mechanic Street and Garden State Parkway, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment is private in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House. Memorials may be made to Neurofibromatosis Foundation, 95 Pine Street, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10005.
Desantis, Mary Jane
Mary Jane DeSantis, 63, of Williamstown died Sunday at home.
Born in Camden, formerly of Bellmawr, she lived in Williamstown for 30 years.
She worked for Laidlaw Bus Co. and STA Bus Co. in Williamstown for 16 years.
She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Williamstown.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Jane and Renee, both of Williamstown; three sons, Joseph, Richard and Kenneth, all of Williamstown; a sister, Theresa Martinez of Westmont; a brother, Charles McGahey of Blackwood; four grandsons, Kenneth Jr., Brandon, Ryan and Dylan; and a granddaughter, Jessica.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Bell-Hennessy Funeral Home, 420 S. Main St., Williamstown, where friends may call 6 to 8 tonight and after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in New St. Mary's cemetery, Bellmawr.
