Columbus, NJ Resident Harold F. Muller, of the Homestead section of Columbus, passed away June 20th, at Virtua-Memorial Hospital. He was 79.

Born in Jersey City, NJ; he was a Navy Veteran, and a member of the Tin Can Sailors, during WWII. After his honorable discharge, he worked for Cisco Dairy, in Clifton, NJ; and last worked for Sikora's, a religious goods supplier, in Passaic, NJ. He was a member of the Sacred Heart/ St. Andrew's Parishes, and was a Eucharistic Minister for St. Andrew's R.C. Church, in Jobstown. He was a member of the American Legion #39 in Roebling, NJ. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Josephine Muller of Columbus; by his son Harold F. Jr. of Pensacola, FL; by his daughter-in-law, Barbara Hamilton of Philadelphia, PA; and by his granddaughter, Heidi Muller, also of Philadelphia. He is also survived by his brother, Richard P. and Patty Muller of Gig Harbor, WA; his brothers-in-law, Christopher H. Plokhooy of Wilimington, DE and Henry T. and Joan Plokhooy of Little Ferry, NJ; by his sisters-in-law, Florence Muller of Exton, PA and Joyce Muller of Jacksonville, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, June 26th at 1 PM at St. Andrew's R.C. Church, Rt. 537, Jobstown, NJ. Friends may call Monday evening from 7-9 PM and Tuesday from 11:30-12:30 at the PERINCHIEF CHAPELS, 438 High St., Mt. Holly, NJ. Interment will be at the BGWCD Veterans' Memorial cemetery in Arneytown. Contributions in his memory may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, 260 High St., Mt. Holly, NJ 08060.

O'DONNELL, CATHERINE R.

Gloucester City, NJ Resident Catherine R. O'Donnell (nee Russell), age 87, beloved wife of Thomas J., Sr., of Gloucester City, formerly of Maple Shade and Cinnaminson, died June 21, 2001.

Loving mother of Thomas J. O'Donnell, Jr. (Kay) of Gloucester City and Lee R. O'Donnell (Peg) of Washington Twp., formerly of Cherry Hill. Devoted grandmother of Dr. Deborah Mulgrew (Joseph), Kevin B. O'Donnell (Vickie), Kelly Duffy (John), Tricia Cunningham (Kenny), Michael T. O'Donnell (Denise), Thomas E. O'Donnell, Esq. (Ruth), Mark S. O'Donnell (Susan) and Christopher S. O'Donnell (Wendi), and 24 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Raymond Russell of Cinnaminson and John Russell of Beverly. SMOLAR, MARY JANE

Marlton, NJ Resident Mary Jane (nee Emerson) Smolar, 74, of Marlton, died Friday at home after a long illness.

Wife of the late Adam, mother of the late Bruce Adam. Loving companion of Philip Bonamase. Also survived by sons, Dennis M. of Maple Shade and Scott G. of Marlton; daughters, Linda M. of Cherry Hill and Connie J. Humphries of Marlton; many brothers and sisters; grandchildren: Denise, Dana Bruce, Dena, Madison, and Justin Adam. Funeral Services Wednesday, June 27, 10 AM at the MATHIS FUNERAL HOME, 58 North Main st., Medford. Interment in Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill. YOUNG, DAVID S.

Riverside, NJ Resident David S. Young, of Riverside, age 77, died June 23, 2001.

He was a lifelong resident of Riverside. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II, having served on the U.S.S. Scott. He attended Easton Union Church, Hainesport. He was a retired Otis Elevator Repairman for Otis Elevator Company, Philadelphia. Beloved husband of Dolores E. (nee Hill); father of Pamela Y. McCarter-Moscato, M.D. of York, PA, Keith M. Young of Branchburg, NJ and Linda Jo Young of Pensacola, FL; brother of Marion Kreckmann of Haddon Heights and Ruth Suplee of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; and grandfather of 15. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Wednesday at the Easton Union Church, Fostertown Rd., Hainesport. Interment Easton Union Church cemetery. OWEN, WILLIAM C.
OWEN, GERTRUDE E.

50 Year Moorestown, NJ Residents William C. Owen, 85, of Moorestown died June 13th in the Memorial Hospital of Salem County.

He had been a resident at the Friends Home at Woodstown for the past four months. Born in Lime Springs, IA, he graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana. He retired from the A.P. Green Refractory Co. of Philadelphia as a Ceramic Engineer. Mr. Owen was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII serving in Northern France and was the recipient of the Bronze Star. Gertrude E. Massey Owen, 88, of Moorsetown, died June 22nd at the friends home at Woodstown, where she resided for the previous three months. Born in L.A.C. Township, Salem County, NJ, she worked as a supervisor of waitresses and cashiers at Stouffer's of Philadelphia. Bill & Gert met at Ocean City, NJ, and had celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this year. They both enjoyed gardening and were members of the First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown. Gert was an accomplished painter who worked in both watercolors and oils, and she was a member of the Women's Club of Moorestown. They are survived by a daughter, Marilyn Owen of Willingboro, NJ; his brother, Myron Owen of Glendora, CA; her brother, Joseph Massey of L.A.C. Twp., NJ; and several nieces and nephews. Services are Tuesday afternoon at 2 PM at WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 34 Oak St., Salem, NJ. Friends may call after 1 PM. Interment will be at Canton Baptist Church.

GASKILL, NORMAN D. "DICK"

Norman D. Gaskill, "Dick", died Sunday, June 24, 2001 at Evesham Care One Nursing Center.

Born in Mt. Holly, he was 83 years old. Mr. Gaskill was employed by Alexander Plush Textile Mill, Mt. Holly, NJ. He then worked for Inductotherm Corporation. For the last several years, Mr. Gaskill was a Crossing Guard on High St. in Mt. Holly. He was an exempt fireman for the NJ State Association and a life member of the Relief Fire Company in Mt. Holly. Beloved husband of the late Patricia and the late Ida. Father of Norman E., Harold J., Robert W. and Joseph K. Brother of Edna Crain and Edward Gaskill. Also survived are several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Life Celebration Wednesday evening 7-9 PM and Thursday 12 Noon to 1 PM at LEE/ GIVNISH OF MT. HOLLY, 317 High St. Funeral service will follow 1 PM. Interment St. Andrew's Graveyard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 410 White Horse Pike, Haddon Heights, NJ 08035.

KOPACZEWSKI, SR. , STEPHEN B.

Stephen B. Kopaczewski, Sr. died peacefully in his sleep on the morning of June 25, 2001.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Violet Kopaczewski; his son, Stephen B. Kopaczewski, Jr. and daughter-in-law, Nancy; grandchildren, William, Kendra, Mark and Eric; sisters, Joan and Veronica; and many nephews, nieces, and friends. Funeral Service 11 AM, Thursday, June 28, 2001 at Eagle Rock Ministries, 13475 Toll Gate Rd., Pickerington, OH. Visitation 7-9 PM Wednesday at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, OH. NO FLOWERS PLEASE. Those who wish may contribute to Mt. Carmel Hospice in his memory.

RUSS, ASHLYNN E.

Mt. Holly, NJ Resident Ashlynn E. Russ, age 6, died June 24, 2001.

She attended Burlington County Special Services, Mt. Holly, and she was formerly of Browns Mills. She is survived by her beloved mother, Elizabeth Russ; her stepfather Pete Figueroa; maternal grandmother, Helene Russ of Mt. Holly; maternal grandfather, Edward F. Lang III of Browns Mills; maternal great-grandparents, Frank and Katha Russ of Browns Mills; aunt, Ligeia Goos of Virginia Beach, VA; and great-aunt, Eva Russ of Browns Mills. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Friday from THE LANKENAU FUNERAL HOME, 31 Elizabeth St., Pemberton. Interment Mt. Holly cemetery. There will be no viewing or calling hours.

BICKMORE, DOROTHY ATKINS

Moorestown, NJ Resident Dorothy Atkins Bickmore, age 74, of Moorestown, died June 25th at West Jersey Hospital, Marlton.

A native of Moorestown, she graduated from Moorestown High School in 1944, and received her R.N. from Cooper Hospital School of Nursing in 1948. She worked as a Pediatric and OB-GYN Nurse for 25 years. Wife of the late H. Vernon; mother of Denise A. of Maple Shade, Richard V. and Jeffrey K., both of Moorestown, and Bryan A. of Marlton. Proud grandmother of Kimberly A., Richard V., Jr., Morgan A. and Wesley K., all of Moorestown and Breann T. of Marlton; sister of Jesse E. Atkins, Jr. of Bradenton, FL. Friends may call Thursday evening, 7-9 PM, LEWIS FUNERAL HOME, 78 E. Main St., Moorestown. Mass of Christian Burial, Friday 10 AM, Our Lady of Perpretual Help Church, Maple Shade. BURGET, STEPHEN A.

Willingboro, NJ Resident Stephen A. Burget, age 35, of Willingboro, NJ, died suddenly on June 22, 2001.

Surviving are two children, Bryan Beatty of Mt. Holly and Dominique Burget of Hamilton. He is also survived by his mother, Joanne Burget of Willingboro, and a brother, Richard of Pennsauken. He was a member of Local #30 Roofers Union of PA. Funeral services were held privately. DILLARD, EVANS

Willingboro, NJ Resident Evans Dillard, age 77, of Willingboro, NJ, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2001 at Virtua Memorial Hospital of Burlington County, Mt. Holly, NJ.

He was born and educated in Evansville, IN. In 1946, he joined the U.S. Army and then transferred to the U.S. Air Force in 1951. He retired from military service in 1969. He earned the World War II Victory Medal and was a member of the VFW DAV, American Legion Post #336, and the Retired Enlisted Association. Dillard, as he was affectionately called, worked for the MidState Correctional Facility, Ft. Dix, NJ, as a Corrections Officer and retired in 1990. He joined Tabernacle Baptist Church, Burlington, NJ, in 1970 and was a member of the Male Chorus, QUEST, as well as the Friendship Guild of Willingboro and the NAACP. Dillard leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Barbara J. Dillard; his son, Evans Dillard, Jr. of Montgomery, AL; four grandchildren, Mrs. Michele Burt, Latasha Dillard, Melissa Dillard and Daniel Dillard, all of Montgomery, AL; three sistersin-law; a brother-in-law; five nieces; six nephews; a great-nephew; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 29, 2001, 10 AM, at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 150 E. Second St., Burlington, NJ. Relatives and friends may call from 9 AM until time of service. GOODE, R. MICHAEL

Mt. Holly, NJ Resident R. Michael Goode of Mt. Holly died Monday, June 25th, 2001 at his residence. He was 48.

Michael was born in Camden and was a 1976 graduate of Glassboro State College, where he played on the Basketball team that won the NCAA Division III title in 1975. After graduating from Glassboro he played basketball in New Zealand and was the coach of the New Zealand National Team in 1977. At the time of his death, he was an Assistant Principal at Eastern Regional High School in Voorhees. Michael loved the Revolutionary War and was Commander of Historic Military Impressions, which does re-enactments of Revolutionary War battles. Surviving are his wife, Jennifer; and a sister and her husband, Judy and J.P. Newell, III of Miami, FL. Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 10 AM at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 121 High St., Mt. Holly. Interment will be in St. Andrew's Graveyard, Mt. Holly. Friends may call Friday from 7-9 PM and Saturday from 8:30-9:30 AM at the PERINCHIEF CHAPELS, 438 High St., Mt. Holly. Contributions may be made to the Fox Chase Cancer Center for Colon Cancer Research, 7701 Burholme Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19111.

LANG, FRANCES

Browns Mills, NJ Resident Frances Lang, age 79, of Browns Mills, died June 25, 2001.

A native of Philadelphia and resident of Browns Mills for the past 30 years, she was a member of St. Ann's Church, Browns Mills, and was formerly employed by Philco. Beloved wife of Charles L. (Doc) Lang. Mother of Charles F. and Michael J. Lang, and Kathleen J. LaGraff, all of Browns Mills. Grandmother of six and great-grandmother of six. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Friday at St. Ann's Church, Trenton Rd., Browns Mills. Interment BGWCD Veterans' Memorial cemetery , Arneytown. Friends may call 8:30 to 9:30 AM Friday at THE LANKENAU FUNERAL HOME, 370 Lakehurst Rd., Browns Mills.

MARINELLI, ANTHONY

Anthony Marinelli, 77, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2001 in Thousand Oaks, CA.

Anthony was born in Burlington and moved to Ventura County 34 years ago from West Los Angeles. Anthony (Max) was a devoted father and grandfather who gave of himself unselfishly. His caring, sensitive nature made you feel like a part of his family from the moment you met him. Anthony always put the needs of others ahead of his own and was a true disciple of Christ in his thoughts, words and actions. Although we will miss him dearly, we can best honor his memory by continuing his legacy of Christ-like service and love. Anthony was preceded in death by his wife, Maribel. Anthony is survived by his daughter, Maria and husband Chad Smart; son Anthony Jr. and his fiancee Kimberly Carver; son Mathew and his wife Crystal; grandsons, CJ, Cale, Tayler & Riley Smart; sisters Fernanda Iovine and Clara Harris; brothers Marcello (Chet), Adriano, Richard and William. A Mass was held on Tuesday, June 19, at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church, Thousand Oaks, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church building fund, 155 E. Janss Rd., Thousand Oaks, CA 91360.

QUINN, JANE D.

Mt. Holly, NJ Resident Jane D. (nee Vitulli) Quinn died suddenly on Monday, June 25, 2001 at her home in Mt. Holly, NJ at the age of 69.

She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Jr. Devoted mother of Mark J. and wife Peggy of Daytona Beach, FL, Keith J. and friend Helen Kelly of Hammonton, NJ, Jane Quinn Pagan of Mt. Holly, NJ, Joseph A. III and wife Tammy of Clarkston, MI, Anthony J. of Houston, TX. Dear sister of Dorothea Smith of West Chester, PA. Loving grandmother of Zerick C. Pagan and Kayley Quinn. Jane was born in Philadelphia, PA and was employed as a Secretary/Clerk for several local businesses. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass Monday, July 2, 11 AM at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 268 High St., Mt. Holly, NJ, where friends may call from 9:45 AM until Mass time.
