Patricia A. Cowan, 58, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Friday, April 12, 2002, in the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she has been a lifetime Cape May County resident. She worked for First American Real Estate Solutions in Weehawken, NJ for over four years. She was a member of St. Raymond's RC Church, Villas, NJ.
She is survived by her son: Stephen Cowan, of Cape May Court House; daughters: Mary Pat Wheaton, of Cape May Court House, and Christine Belding, of Raeford, NC; brothers: Edward, George, John, Joseph, and William; sisters: Rita Ledsome and Katherine Schellinger; grandchildren: Kevin and Sydney Wheaton, Rachel, Reid, and Evan Cowan, and David Belding.
Funeral Liturgy will be said on Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at St. Raymond's RC Church, Bayshore Rd. and E. Hudson Av., Villas, NJ 08251. COWAN, DOROTHY B., age 91, a long tiime resident of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Wednesday, October 25, 2006, at the Claremont Center, Point Pleasant, NJ. Mrs. Cowan was born in El Paso, TX. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church here. She was a retired bookkeeper for the Standard Oil Company. She enjoyed reading, needlework, and canning and freezing the vegetables and fruits that her late husband, Charles, enjoyed growing in his garden. She is survived by three sons: Charles E., Jr. of Aston, Pa.; Matthew J. of Pittsgrove and Mark A. of North Wildwood; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. The Funeral Liturgy will be said on Friday, Nov. 3, 2006, at 10 am. at the Our Lady of the Angels Church, Cape May Court House, NJ. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.
Cowan, Catherine M.
Catherine M. Cowan, age 90, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Friday, July 25, 2008, at the Eastern Shore Nursing Home.
She was born in Fishing Creek, NJ, the daughter of the late Andrew and Nellie Ahearn Cowan, and was a lifetime resident.
Mrs. Cowan was a health aide at the Woodbine Developmental Center for over twenty five years.
She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and crocheting.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews. The funeral services and interment are private.

Cowan, Sr., Charles E.
Charles E. Cowan, Sr., 91, of Cape May Court House, died on Sunday, December 1, 2002, at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Fishing Creek and was a lifetime resident of Cape May County. He was a self-employed carpenter. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. Mr. Cowan was an Army Air Force Veteran of World War II. He was a flight engineer and top turret gunner on a B17 Bomber during World War II. He loved his vegetable garden especially raising strawberries.
Mr. Cowan is survived by his wife, Dorothy B. Cowan of North Cape May; his sons, Charles E. Cowan, Jr. of Aston, PA, Matthew J. Cowan of Pittsgrove, and Mark A. Cowan of North Wildwood; his brother, Howard Cowan of North Carolina; his sister, Catherine Cowan of New Jersey; and three grandchildren. His brothers, David and Thomas predeceased him.
Memorial Mass will be said on Friday, December 6, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Parkway and E. Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House. Interment will be private.

Cox, Tracy J.
Tracy J. Cox, 47, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2008. Born in Macomb County, Michigan to Clarence Cox Sr. and Joyce Perry, he moved here 30 years ago from Cherry Hill, NJ. He was a baker at Sugar N Spice in Wildwood, NJ, then recently at Donut Connection in Cape May Court House. He was a loyal Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Mr. Cox is survived by his wife, Cheryl Marie (Carey); his daughters, Rachael-Marie and Kristen Lynn; and his siblings, Maxine Cox of Houston, TX, Clarence Cox Jr. of Wildwood, NJ, Amanda Davis of North Carolina, and Robert Cox of Pennsylvania.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Eureka Baptist Church, 142 W. Spencer Ave. in Wildwood, NJ. Service will be at 12:00 noon and calling time will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Queen Esther Household Of Ruth cemetery, Whitesboro, NJ.

COX, DR. EVELYN M. was called home to the Lord on February 23, 2007, of the Wiley Retirement Community in Marlton. Age 89. Beloved sister of Miriam E. (Hughes) McClelland of Marlton and the late Earl Cox. Also survived by 4 nieces, Elizabeth (Hughes) DeWitt, Patrcia Evelyn Hughes-Mace both of Audubon, Carol (Cox) Butler of Sewell and Linda (Cox) Scharff of Merrit Island, FL and 3 grand nephews and 3 grand nieces, Dan DeWitt, Michelle Mace, Dr. Charles Butler, Cheryl Crowell, Bert & Jeanie Scharff. Evelyn received her BS & MS from Syracuse Univ and her doctorate from Iowa State Univ. She worked as a professor at the Univ of NC, she was head of the Home Economics Dept at the Univ of Arkansas and professor at the Univ of MD, where she also coordinated a dietetic internship at John Hopkins Univ. Dr. Cox was named Woman of the Year in Arkansas in 1965 and had many other accolades bestowed upon her. Friends are invited to the celebration of her life on Tuesday from 10-11 AM at Wiley Church, Main St. in Marlton. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Interment Harleigh cemetery in Camden. Cox, Dolores Jordan
Dolores Jordan Cox, 81, of Erma, on Friday, August 14, 2009, the angels took her to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Dolores was born on Palm Sunday, April 1, 1928 in Wildwood, New Jersey to Josephine (Miller) and Calvin Jordan, Sr. She is predeceased by her husband Clyde Graham Cox; brothers William, Everett, and Calvin, Jr.; and sisters Emma, Arietta, and Alice. Dolores was married
to her true love, Clyde, for fifty-eight years. They met during World War II when Clyde was stationed at the Naval Air Station in Cape May, New Jersey. They began their married
life in Cedar Bluff, VA and returned to her childhood homestead in Cape May in 1951. Dolores and Clyde brought into this world two daughters and she devoted her entire life to her family. She loved her title of "Mommy". Her purpose in life was to listen, encourage, counsel, nurse, and teach through her words and actions the love of Jesus to all who called upon her until her last day on earth. Her last goodnight call ended on Thursday, August 13 to her eldest daughter, to whom she said, "If you need me, don't be afraid to call." She loved her two girls with all her heart.
Dolores is survived by daughters Rebecca Jane Cox-Hall and Jeanette Donna Blaesi; grandson Zachary Alan Blaesi and son-in-law Mark Alan Blaesi; sisters Nellie Bender and Jane Jordan; sisters-in-law Irene Jordan, Kathryne Cox, Stella Vencill, Mary Vencill, Sylvia Fields, Nancy Mounts, Ruby Slate, and Joan Cox; brother-in-law George L. Cox; and faithful family friend, Ron Frech. Our world has lost our beautiful angel.

Cox, Clyde G.
Clyde G. Cox, 79, of Cape May, returned to the Lord on August 29, 2005. He is survived by Dolores, his faithful wife of 58 years; two loving daughters, Rebecca Cox-Hall, and Jeanette Blaesi; and one very special grandson, Zachary Blaesi. Clyde was born on Mutter's Gap of Clinch Mountain, Virginia on February 27, 1926. He is survived by nine sisters and one brother.
He was stationed at the U.S. Navy Air Station in Cape May during World War II and served his country as an Aviation Ordinance Man, Third Class. He flew in the Navy Bomber Helldiver as a gunner on Submarine Patrol over the North Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.
He retired from Borden Food, Inc. in 1991 where he was employed as Plant Engineer for 40 years. He attended the Seashore Community Church of the Nazarene over the years, but was pastored by Rob Meyer of The Carpenter's Shop the last year of his life as we prayed for his healing. Clyde was known as a southern gentleman with a gentle soul, who never had an unkind word to say about anyone. Those who had the privilege of knowing Clyde were given a special gift. He will be sadly missed as we wait to join him in Heaven one day.
A celebration of Clyde's life will be held on Friday, September 2, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Cold Spring Presbyterian cemetery. Cox Shumski, Ruthanne, 64, of Cape May Court House lost her battle with cancer peacefully on Friday, January 8, 2010 at home with her family by her side. Born in Wilmington, DE to George and Sue Worling she moved to the area 32 years ago. Ruthanne has been in banking most of her life and was most recently the Branch Manager of Sun National Bank in Cape May Court House. She served on the Cape May County Advisory Commission on the Status of Women from 1994-2001 and the Cape Women's Resource Fund for over 12 years.
She is survived by her husband, Donald; her children, Kimberly Prowell of Oregon, Deborah (Edward) Murray of Limerick, PA, Richard Schneeman of Del Haven, and Jeremy (Carrie) Cox of Cape May Court House; and her grandchildren: Zach, Erich, Kimmie, Lindsey, Michael, Allison, Cole, and Ashlee.

On July 1, 2009. Of Marlton. Age 82. Beloved husband of Dorothea (nee Jannelli). Loving father of Dorothea Jones (George) and JoAnn Keffer. Devoted grandfather of Jennifer, Jaclyn and Christopher Jones and Samantha Vernon. Also survived by several sisters in law, nephews, nieces and their families. Mr. Coyle was a Veteran of the Navy during World War II. He worked as a marketing manager for National Airlines and later for Pan Am. He has also been affiliated with the NHL and the Philadelphia Flyers since 1970 as an off-ice official. His sense of humor was loved by all. Paul I. Cramer, 79, of Cape May Court House, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 22, 2004. He was born in Atlantic City, NJ, the son of the late Paul and Gladys Cramer.
He resided in Absecon, NJ while attending high school, then attended Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics.
He was an Army Veteran of World War II. In 1977, he moved to the Cape May area where he started several businesses. He was the owner operator of Construction Equipment Service, Inc. and Sand, Inc. He was also a well known mechanical troubleshooter. He was an avid sportsman including hunting, boating, and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years: Trudy; three sons: James and his wife, Donna, Bruce and his wife, Susan, and Douglas; eight grandchildren: Jason, Christopher, Jenell, Jessica, Kyle, Jonathon, Douglas, and Nikki; aunt: Mary Lochel; uncle: Rev. Ralph Reed; cousin: Lynne Lochel; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Gloria and Bill Kruger and their family.

Laurel, he has resided in Tabernacle for the past 25 years moving there from Phila., PA. Peter is the founder and owner of Crane Construction in Tabernacle which he has owned for the past 30 years. He is the Beloved Husband of Dolores R. "Penny" (Nee Rafter) Crane of Tabernacle, NJ and the Loving Father of Raymond Crane of Mt. Laurel, NJ and Peter M. Crane Jr. of Haddon Twp., NJ.
