BUFFETTA, LOUISE

On April 8, 2002, of Pennsauken, New Jersey. Age 85 years.

She is the Dear sister of Enrico Buffetta, Gloria Parisi, Columbus Buffetta, Anna Sharp and the late Mary Buffetta. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Prior to retiring, Ms. Buffetta was an employee of RCA in Camden for thirty years. She was a member of the Jet Senior Citizen Club in Pennsauken and was a parishioner at St. Peter Church in Merchantville.

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ms. Buffetta was a resident of Pennsauken for eighteen years and prior to that was a longtime resident of Camden.

Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation and Funeral on Thursday from 8:30 AM at the FALCO/CARUSO & LEONARD PENNSAUKEN FUNERAL HOME, 6600 N. Browning Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at the Church of St. Peter, 43 W. Maple Avenue, Merchantville. Entombment will follow at Calvary Mausoleum, Cherry Hill, NJ.

Buganski, Josephine Frances

Buganski, Josephine Frances, age 84, a former resident of Woodbine, died Sunday, Nov. 28, at the home of her son, Martin, in Berkeley Heights, NJ. She was born in Woodbine, where she lived until 1990 when she moved to live with her son in Berkeley Heights, NJ. She was an active member of St. Casimir's Church, where she served as trustee and volunteered in many church activities. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and the Alter Rosary Society of the church. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Woodbine.

She is survived by her son, Martin B., II and his wife, Christine; three daughters: Margaret M. Sansonetti and her husband, David, of Bethlehem, PA, Monica Grudin of Kingston, NY, and Jane Young of Belmar, NJ; and fourteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo, and two daughters, Catherine and Anna.

Funeral Liturgy will be said Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2004, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Peace, 111 South St., New Providence, NJ 07974, where friends may call 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Casimir's cemetery Wednesday at 2:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the Our Lady of Peace Church at the above address.

Buganski, Jennie

Jennie Buganski, 81, of South Dennis, died on Thursday, December 9, 2004 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in New York City, NY and lived in this area including Woodbine since 1959. She was formerly employed by the New York Stock Exchange; the Citizens Bank in Woodbine; Feit's Clothing Company and the Wheaton Candle Company and was a part-time dispatcher for the Belleplain Rescue. She was a member of St. Casimir's R.C. Church; the St. Vincent de Paul Society; the Altar and Rosary Society; the Ladies Auxiliary of the Belleplain V.F.W. and the Dennis Township Senior Citizens.

She is survived by her son, Joseph W. Buganski, Jr.; a brother, Ralph Santangelo of Eldora; and two sisters, Antoinette Saldo and Josephine Fiorenzo, both of Brooklyn, NY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph W. Buganski in 1991.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Casimir's R.C. Church, Clay Street, Woodbine, where friends may call Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the St. Casimir's cemetery.

Buganski, John E.

John E. Buganski, 87, of Eldora, passed away on April 28, 2003 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Born in Woodbine to the late Jacob and Frances (Vranna) Buganski, he was a lifetime resident of this area. He was a self-employed plumber. He was a member of St. Casimir's Church in Woodbine. He was Past Commander of the VFW Post 6257 Belleplain, an avid hunter and fisherman, and an avid Phillies fan. He was a Tech Sergeant in the 47th Infantry of the Army in World War II in North Africa, Sicily, and Mainland Europe. He was awarded the Bronze Star and Oak Leaf Cluster.

Mr. Buganski is survived by his children, John M. Buganski of Eldora, Ellis "Butch" Buganski of Port Elizabeth, Robert Buganski of Garrettsville, OH, Jean Servis of Eldora, and Janet Van Ess of Cape May Court House; his eleven grandchildren; and his two great granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy (Whilden) Buganski and his son, Charles "Chick" Buganski.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 2 at 10:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call on Thursday, May 1 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, South Jersey Chapter, 600 South White Horse Pike, Audubon, NJ 08106.

Buhrman, Jr., William W.

William W. Buhrman, Jr. age 80 of Long Branch died on Sunday, November 2, at Jersey Shore Care Center, Eatontown. He was an insurance agent for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company for 30 years retiring 25 years ago. Born Tippe Canoe, Ohio, he lived in Long Branch for 53 years. He served his country honorable during World War II. He was predeceased by his wife Adele O'Donnell Buhrman in 1995.

Surviving are 3 sons, William Buhrman, III, Freehold; Kevin Buhrman, Long Branch; Jeffrey Buhrman, Washington, DC.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, corners of Third and Franklin avenues on Thursday, November 6, from 9 am - 10:30am with a funeral service to begin at 10:30 am. Mr. Pedro P. Bulaong, age 74, of Marlton, NJ died 10/7/2001. He is the beloved wife of Gervacia Bulaong. John was a carpenter and craftsman and a Veteran of the Army serving in WWII and was an avid golfer. Mille was an employee of CBS in Pitman, NJ for many years and was an extraordinary cook and gardener. They both were extremely proud of their grandchildren. Mary Lou Sampoli Buono, age 80 of Long Branch died Tuesday, May 18 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. She was a Bookkeeper / Billing Clerk at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch for 20 years before retiring. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Born in Red Bank she was a life resident of Long Branch. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank "Shorty" Buono in 1999. Surviving is her son Frank Buono; her daughter, Lynne McGrath, both of Long Branch; one brother, Louis Sampoli of Missouri; 4 grandchildren, Nicole, Allison, Joseph and David; and one great grandson, Liam. BUONO, DR. JOSEPH S. on February 6, 2005 of Marlton formerly of South Philadelphia & Upper Darby, PA. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Palmere). Devoted father of Dean Joseph, Christopher John, Lee Michael and Cynthia Ann.

Dear brother of Joanna Naegely. Loving nephew of Marie Telese, John Cianci, Constance DiAntonio and Domenick Cianci. Also survived by mother in law Mary A. Palmere. Dr. Joseph S. Buono was a physician of two private practices one on Church Rd in Mt. Laurel and the other at the Cedar Brook Building in Medford. Buono, Barbara J.

Barbara J. Buono age 49, of Tinton Falls died Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at St Barnabas Hospice Center and Palliative Care Center at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch after a long courageous battle with cancer. She graduated for Trenton State College with a degree in elementary education and taught for several years in East Orange. Upon her death, she was employed by Wachovia Bank, North Brunswick, as a Learning Generalist Assistant Vice President, Division of Human Resource Operating Services and Training for the last 22 years. She was a communicate of St Dorothea's Roman Catholic Church, Eatontown.

Born in Long Branch, she was a life resident of the shore area

She was predeceased by her parents, Michael J. and Jennie M. Tarricone Buono and a brother, Michael C. Buono. Buono, Lucy Scialfa

Lucy Scialfa Buono, age 94, of Long Branch passed away peacefully on Friday, August 17, 2007 at Jersey Shore Center, Eatontown. She was born in Gagliano, Sicily, came to the US at age 9 and settled in Long Branch with her family. Lucy graduated from Long Branch High School and went on to be a talented seamstress, working before she retired as a children's sample dressmaker for Bentex Corporation, Freehold. Family and friends will always remember her for her kindness, beautiful smile, and love of sewing, cooking and spending time with her family. She touched the lives of many and will be fondly remembered by everyone who knew her.

She was a communicant of the Church of Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach; attended Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Long Branch; a member of the North Long Branch PTA; the Long Branch Community Center; and the Active Seniors of Long Branch. Lucy was predeceased by her husband John C. Buono, her parents Vincenzo and Angela Scialfa, and her brother, Joseph Scialfa.

Surviving are her daughters Angela and her husband Dr. James Fiasconaro of Oceanport; Joan and her husband Anthony Chidoni of Los Angeles; sisters, Frances West and Minnie Calcaterra of West Long Branch; and 4 granddaughters, Dina and Jami Fiasconaro and Loren and Michelle Chidoni.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 20, from 2-4, 7-9 pm at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, on the corner of Third, Long Branch. Burcher, Mark R.

BURCHER, Mark Richard. Sadly, on February 15, 2009 Mark Burcher passed away at his home in Cape May Point, NJ. Mark leaves behind his two wonderful children Sean Patrick and Brenna Catherine. He is loved and survived by his parents Paul and Catherine and his siblings Tom (Margaret), Ed (Heather) and Maureen (Mike) as well as his extended family and the great many friends he has made through the years. Mark grew up in Cherry Hill and also lived for many years in Mt. Laurel. He recently became a resident of Cape May Point NJ." A genuinely kind and caring person, he truly loved talking to everyone he met - there was no conversation he could not join and be welcomed. He made many friends over his short life, both in work and at play. All would agree that he could bring a smile to their face with his humor and stories. Buch, Helen, 81, of Avalon, passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at her home. Born in Philadelphia to the late Herbert and Marie (Fithian) Highfield, she was a lifetime resident of Avalon. She was a former member of the First United Methodist Church of Avalon.

Mrs. Buch is survived by her husband, William A.; her son, William G.; her sisters, Marie Bates and Jane Scobey; her brother, Herbert Highfield; her granddaughter, Angel Dille of North Cape May; and her great granddaughter, Hannah Dille.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 21, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House. Grace Viola Buchan (nee Lahrs) died on October 9, 2004 at the age of 97. Born November 22, 1906 in New York City to Frederick William and Irene Mary Lahrs (nee Andrews). She was recently of Yardley Commons, Voorhees NJ, previously of Allison Apartments in Marlton and prior to that Queens NY. She was the devoted wife of 62 years of Harold Bradley Buchan who died April 28, 1992. She is survived by her son, Alan Bradley Buchan and daughter in law, Janet Lucille Buchan (nee Riemersma), her grandchildren, Robert Michael and his wife Linda Mary Buchan (nee Horner), Richard Steven, & Kathleen Ann Buchan; her great grandchildren, Jessica Lynn, Rebekha Christine, Melissa Joy, Victoria Noel and Matthew Robert Buchan and Ryan Gregory Martin. Suddenly on February 12, 2004. Of Marlton, NJ Age 16. Beloved son of Peter D. and Susan J. (nee Roberts) Burd. Dear brother of Sara J. Burd. Loving grandson of Clifford and Barbara Burd and Raymond and Jane Roberts of Hamilton Square, NJ. Jeffrey was an honor student in the class of 2005 at Cherokee High School in Marlton. He played for the Cherokee Chief's Ice Hockey Team and Medford Wild Ice Hockey Team. Participated many years in the Marlton Recreational Council Soccer, Street Hockey and Roller Hockey programs. He was an active member of Trinity Presbyterian Church.

Born and raised in Media, PA, she had been a resident of Drexel Hill, PA for 33 years before moving to Margate City, New Jersey when she retired in 1992.

Other: A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She also will be remembered for her compassionate care as a nurse; Frances enjoyed her retirement at the shore, spending time with her family and NASCAR racing. She loved the beach and was an avid reader. She was a member along with her husband of the Antique Automobile Club of American and the Margate City Log Cabin.
