BRENDLEY, WILLIAM H., Sr. on March 27, 2005, of Philadelphia, PA. William was 89. Husband of the late Mary (nee Amici ) for over 67 yrs. . Loving father of William Jr. (Yvonne) of Hatboro, PA, and Charles (the late Bee) and Richard (Dee), both of Marlton, NJ. Also survived by 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A graduate of Northeast High School and formerly a parishioner at St. Dominic's Church in Phila., PA. Mr. Brendley was a shipfitter during WWII. He worked on the U.S.S. New Jersey and the U.S.S. Wisconsin. And he also worked on the first nuclear ship, The Savannah. Also an avid sports fan, especially the Philadelphia Athletics and the Eagles and a professional drummer. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday from 9:00-10:00 AM at the Catholic Church of St. Mary, 2001 Springdale Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 AM. Brennan, James R.

James R. Brennan, 86, of Stone Harbor, NJ, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2007, at the Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Marlton, NJ to the late Thomas and Mary (McLaughlin) Brennan, he moved here from Marlton in 1948. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII and then was a New Jersey State Trooper for thirty years. After retiring from the State Police, he was a detective for the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office for ten years. He was an active member of St. Paul's R.C. Church where he served as an usher; and, was also a member of the Civil War Roundtable. He enjoyed gardening and was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan.

Mr. Brennan is survived by his devoted wife of sixty four years, Dorothy R. (nee Duncan) Brennan; his children: Kathleen Deibert and her husband, Roy of Seaville and James R. Brennan and his wife, Ssndy of Budd Lake; his daughter-in-law, Irene Brennan of Cherry Hill; his sister, Constance Kerlin of Goldsboro, NC and his six grandchildren: James R. Brennan, III; Jason Deibert, Josie Brennan, Andrew Deibert, Susan Brennan and Thomas Brennan. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael G. Brennan on January 30, 2007.

A Funeral Mass will be said on Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 99th Street and Third Avenue, Stone Harbor, NJ where a viewing will begin at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Memorials contributions may be made to St. Paul's R.C. Church, 9910 Third Avenue, Stone Harbor, NJ 08247.

Brennan, Gloria Sarpa

Gloria Sarpa Brennan, age 80, of Oceanport died Tuesday, December 2 at home. She was a member of the Rumson and Sea Bright Seniors Citizens clubs, Sea Bright Home School Association and the Woman's Auxiliary at St. Alphonso's Retreat Home, West End. Born in Jersey City, she lived in Sea Bright and Rumson before moving to Oceanport 6 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband, William Brennan, Sr. in 1997, 1 sister, Mary Marino in 2001 and 1 brother, Thomas Sarpa in 1976.

She is survived by a son and daughter in law, William L. and Susan Brennan, Jr. of Atlantic Highlands; 2 daughters and sons in law, Elaine & Don Vaughan of Oceanport and Maryann and David Olson of West Long Branch; 3 sisters, Josephine LoRocco of Red Bank, Jean Singagliese of Hoboken and Katherine Mellone of Las Vegas, NV; 7 grandchildren, Corey Vaughan and his fiancée Kim Antonucci, Megain Vaughan and her friend Peter Devlin, Dylan and Tucker Brennan, Zack, Nicholas and Courtney Olson.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, corners of Third and Franklin avenues, Long Branch on Thursday, December 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with a funeral service to begin at 8:15 pm. Brenneman Sr., William L. On June 23, 2006 of Medford, NJ. Age 71. Loving father of William Brenneman Jr. of Albuquerque, NM, Jill (Jim) Keebler of Maple Shade, NJ, and Jenna (Dave) Dunlop of Mason, OH. Devoted grandfather of Bryan, Kaitlin, Megan, and Christopher. Bill loved tennis and was a member of the MRA Tennis Association. He was a longtime RCA and Lockheed Martin employee and retired in 1998. Brenzel, Mary B.

Mary B. Brenzel, 91, of Wildwood Crest, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2002 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Cassandra, PA and moved here in 1932 from Philadelphia, PA. She was a member of St. Simeon's By The Sea Church.

She is survived by her nephews, Charles Ginder and his wife, Anna of Downingtown, PA, Thomas Houser of Galena, MD, Christopher Clinton of Brigantine, NJ, and Edward Clinton of Lighthouse Point, FL; her nieces, Rochelle Judson of Lighthouse Point, FL, Kimberly Richardson of Galloway, NJ, Agnes Tefankjian of Brigantine, NJ, Catherine Blake of Galena, MD, and Gail Coppock of Irving, TX; and her sister, Agnes Kenin of Philadelphia, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis F. Brenzel on June 20, 2001.

Breslin, Mary "Tweetie"

Mary Breslin, "Tweetie", nee Brookmyre, 94, of Cape May Court House, died on Sunday, February 24, 2002 at the Eastern Shore Nursing Home. She was born in Philadelphia. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and the Altar Rosary Society. Tweetie enjoyed the social events sponsored by the Church. She was a member of the Auxillary of the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital and was known for her lemons with a peppermint stick. She enjoyed wearing hats when going out and complimented other people for the hat they wore.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Breslin in 1971.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Friday, March 1, 2002 at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Garden State Parkway and East Mechanic Street, Cape May Court House, where friends may call from 10:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross cemetery, Yeadon, PA. Brett (Britt), Diane E. (nee Hall). On August 21, 2008. Age 78. Of Pennsauken, NJ. Beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Brett. Loving mother of Diane E. A veteran of the US ARMY, Mr. Brigandi worked for the US Government as a civil servant. He retired at the age of 76 from BAE Systems, Mt. Laurel. Bright, N. Lucille

N. Lucille Bright, 84, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Friday, April 11, 2003, at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House. She was born in Bogue, KS, and lived in this area for over fifty years. She retired as Assistant Secretary of Cape Savings Bank after 27 years of service. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, baking, quilting, and enjoyed traveling with her late husband, Lewis C., who died April 20, 1991.

She is survived by three daughters: Lynn M. of Cape May Court House, Berniece L. of Del Haven, NJ, and Kay E. of Goshen, NJ; two sisters: Cova Fink of Hill City, KS, and Melva Jean Coats of Bogue, KS; brother: Marvin Middleton, of Hill City, KS, and sister-in-law: Clara Fath of Titusville, FL, formerly of Woodbine, NJ.

Bright, Larry D.

Larry D. Bright, 50, of Woodbine, NJ, died on Sunday, November 28, 2004, in Salem County, NJ as a result of a motor vehicle accident.

Larry was born in Cape May Court House, NJ on May 8, 1954, the son of E. Douglass and Nadia (Sheldon) Bright. He had been in the construction business for over thirty years and was owner of Rite-Way Construction for the past six years. Larry enjoyed country line dancing, riding, and showing horses.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his children: Larry D. and his wife, Danielle, of Woodbury, NJ, Andrea L. Glenn and her husband, Sean, of Cape May Court House, NJ, and Gregory A. Bright of Newport, NC; sisters: Barbara Klott of Newport, NC and Peggy Tappen of Wellsville, PA; brothers: William of Cape May Court House, NJ and Barry of Green Creek, NJ; and his two grandchildren: Kira and Ian.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2004, at 11:00 AM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may call after 9:30 AM. Brignola, Theresa C.

Theresa C. Brignola age 88 of Long Branch died Saturday at the Center for Hospice Care at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch

She was a secretary to the librarian at Shore Regional High School for 19 years before retiring in 1973.

Born in Long Branch, she had been a life resident.

She was a parishioner of St John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch

Her family was her greatest love.

Surviving are her husband of 66 years Louis R. Brignola, a son and daughter in law, James 'Jack' R. and Irene Brignola, Oceanport, 5 sisters, Mary Tomaine, Oceanport, Clara Colaguori, Long Branch, Anne Prout, Tucson, Az, Josephine Fischer, West Long Branch, Frances Witek, Tucson, Az, , 3 grandchildren, Christopher, Geoffrey, Renee Hansen, 3 great grandchildren, Kylie, Jack, and Grace.

Mr. Brignola was Executive Vice President of North Star Services, LTD. in Pennsauken, and was a former Philadelphia Mounted Police Officer. (nee Wark) of Sweetwater, formerly of Mt Laurel and East Camden. Age 86. Beloved wife of Edwin W. Brill, Sr. Loving mother of Edwin W. Brill, Jr. (Lynne) of Geneseo, NY and Timothy A. Brill (Wendy) of Lambertville, NJ. Devoted grandmother of Allison Brill, Brenda Nelson (James), Rachel Naber and Aaron Naber (Marci) and great grandmother of Breanne and Shai Nelson, Tyler Hochadel-Naber, and Brennaugh and Kenleigh Naber. Dear sister of Perry J. Wark (Violet) of Wilmington, NC and Alverda Brill (Warren) of Cape May. Mrs. Brill was an Air Raid Warden during WWII. She worked in the office at Whitman's Chocolates for 13 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Egg Harbor where she was a member of the Sewing Group for World Relief. She was formerly a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Marlton and Christus Lutheran Church in Camden, where she had been President of the Lutheran Women. She was member of the Mental Health Association of Southwest, NJ. and formerly a member of the Oceanview Lutheran Home Auxiliary and the Lutheran Home of Moorestown Auxilliary. Carole Anne Brining (nee Bacon), age 57, of Collings Lakes, NJ died Sunday at her home.

Born in Blackwood, NJ, she lived in Collings Lakes for the last 27 years.

She worked 15 years as a bus driver for STA in Williamstown.

She is the wife of the late George Brining Jr. Beloved mother of George W. of Wycoff, Robert of Collings Lakes, George C. of Egg Harbor City, Vicki Pelley of Collings Lakes, Janis Evangelista of Winslow. Dear Sister to James Bacon of Wildwood, Bonnie Bonsall of Collings Lakes, Barbara Hise of Williamstown, and Nanette Bacon of Malaga, loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held 7:00PM Friday at Abundant Life Center, Rt. 54, Buena.

Shirley Brinkerhoff (nee Babcock), went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 24, 2002 at the Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ. She was 77 yrs. of age. Born in Boston, MA, she resided in Medford Lakes, NJ for the past 38 yrs. moving here from Oradell, NJ. A long time member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Mt. Laurel she was also an active member of the Pinelands Christian Womens Club. She is the beloved wife of William J. Brinkerhoff Jr. of Medford Lakes, NJ. She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law Barbara J. & Manfred Fritz of Germany, and her sons and daughter-in-law William J. III of Hammonton, NJ, Thomas R. & Sally of Medford Lakes, NJ and George R. of Medford Lakes, NJ, her 2 Grandchildren Misty Sneed of Germany and Tracy Brinkerhoff of Medford Lakes, NJ and her two Great Grandson Marcus and Dylan Sneed. WILLIAM J. BRINKERHOFF JR., of Medford Lakes, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2009. He was 86 years old. Born in Paterson, NJ, he is the son of the late William J. and Corabel Brinkerhoff and the husband of the late (Ruth) Shirley Brinkerhoff for 56 yrs. He is the Father of the late Barbara Joan Brinkerhoff, William J. Brinkerhoff III of Hammonton, NJ, Thomas R. Brinkerhoff and his wife Sally of Medford Lakes, NJ and George R. Brinkerhoff of Medford Lakes, NJ. He is also survived by his two Grandchildren Misty D. Sneed of Germany and Tracy J. Brinkerhoff of Medford Lakes, NJ and two Great Grandchildren Marcus and Dylan Sneed. He attended Lafayette College. He was a veteran of the Army Air Corp. He finally retired in his seventies after a long career as a sales representative for a number of heating and refrigeration firms, particularly Russell Coil Corporation of Brea, California. He served as a deacon and an elder at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Cherry Hill and was an active member of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Mt. Laurel. He loved life, loved to laugh, enjoyed a good meal and the company of others. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Mt. Laurel, Union Mill and Walton Rd. in Mt. Laurel, NJ.
