Bowen, Mary Elizabeth
Mary Virginia Bowen, 87, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Saturday, December 20, 2003, at the Crest Haven Nursing Home, Cape May Court House. She was born in Beverly, NJ, the daughter of the late Thomas Oliver and Bertha Knight Perkins. She moved here from Burlington, NJ in 1977. Mrs. Bowen was an active member in the First Baptist Church of Cape May Court House and of Burlington, and sang in the choirs at both churches. She was a volunteer at the Cape May County and Burlington County Historical Societies.
She is survived by her son: Allan W. of Cape May Court House; daughter: Kathleen A. Allison of Phoenix, AZ; brother: Edgar Perkins of Illinios; granddaughters: Laura and Angela; and great granddaughters: Martha and Emma. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allan B. in 1989.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2003 at 11:00 AM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House. Interment will be in the Oddfellows cemetery, Burlington, NJ. Robert A. Bowen, Sr., 77, of Wildwood, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Greensboro, NC to the late Jesse and Lula (Stone) Bowen, he moved here over 55 years ago from Washington, D.C. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a member of the Elks Lodge 192 in Wildwood.
Mr. Bowen is survived by his sons, Robert A. Bowen, Jr. and Waldell Bowen; one daughter; his stepdaughter, Tina Howell; and his best friend, Carlton Grissett of Vineland.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 23, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.
Bower, Charles F.
Charles F. Bower, 88, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia to the late William and Grace (Brown) Bower, he lived in Cape May Court House since 1995 after living in Wildwood Crest for fifty years. A Coast Guard Veteran of World War II, he was a former bank manager for Cape Savings in Wildwood. He was a member of the American Legion Post 184 in Wildwood and AARP in Cape May Court House. He was past treasurer of the Navy League of Washington D.C. He was also past custodian of the Philip P. Baker Elementary School in Wildwood Crest.
Mr. Bower is survived by his daughters, Patricia Fitzgerald of Rio Grande and Joan Wilson of Stuart, FL; his son, William Sergiy of Voluntown, CT; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary on February 24, 1996; his son, James Barca, and his brother, Harry Bower.
Graveside services will be private at the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.

He is the Beloved husband of Amanda Ruth (Nee Fort) Bowker of Pemberton, NJ and the Loving Father of Franklin F. Bowker and his wife Kay of Lumberton, NJ. Bowman, D. Carol
D. Carol Bowman, 76, of Wildwood, died on Friday, June 23, 2006 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia to the late Conrad Evans and Marian (Brooks) Griffith and moved here in 1947. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. She and her husband were the former owners of Bowman's Heating and Cooling, which is now owned by their son. She previously worked as a registered nurse at Women's Hospital in Philadelphia. She loved to play tennis, to play on her computer, and to go to the casino.
Mrs. Bowman is survived by her son, David R. Bowman and his wife, Diane of Rio Grande; her daughters, Marian Ruth Giuffrida of Palm City, FL, and Suzanne C. Lamach and her husband, Gary of North Wildwood; her brothers, Perry Brooks Griffith of Florida, and James Griffith of California; and her five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Bowman on January 6, 1997.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. On September 14, 2003 of Marlton, formerly of Cherry Hill. Age 91. Beloved husband of the late Mary D. (nee Pizzuto) Loving father of Estella R. Bowman of Marlton, John I. Bowman of Marlton and Addie V. Bowman of Marlton. Devoted grandfather of Denise and Michael Hoover, Daniel, Robert, Michelle and Laura Bowman. Dear brother of Addie Whitfield of Vincentown. Mr. Bowman was a farmer in Seabrook, NJ, a veteran of the Army during WWII, a bus driver for Public Service Bus Co. for 8 years, then worked for the NJ Turnpike Authority. He was a trustee at East Pennsauken United Methodist Church for many years and also delivered Meals on Wheels for the Salvation Army. Boyd, Franklin J.
Franklin Boyd age 61 of Long Branch died Thursday November 14, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a construction worker and had owned Frank's Furniture, Long Branch. Born in Long Branch, he was a life resident.
He was a great boxer in the late 50's through early 60's under the sponsorship of IAMA Club, Long Branch. During his career he won a Golden Glove award. He was considered on of the top contenders in the shore area.
He was predeceased by his companion Emma J. Ivory who died on Thursday also, a son Darryl, his parents, Benjamin and Ida Mae Boyd, and a brother David.
Surviving are 2 sons, Franklin Boyd Jr, Rodney Ivory, 4 daughters, Tracey, Felicia, and Darlene Boyd and Selene Ivory, 2 brothers, Joseph and Clarence Boyd, 2 sisters, Christine and Gloria Boyd, 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren

George E. Boyd, Sr., 67, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Thursday, December 26, 2002, at his home. He was born in Clarkton, NC, and lived here since 1955. He was a member of the Sandy Pines Baptist Church in Clarkton. He was a retired truckdriver for Burcham Trucking Company in Millville after 25 years of service. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his daughters: Cheryl B. Butler, Lisa Boyd, Hope Giles, Bonnie McCall, and Kathy Williams; mother: Janie Boyd; three brothers: Roosevelt, Andrew, and Aaron Boyd; five sisters: Emma Mitchell, Alice Richardson, Ruth Beatty, Hilda Coleman, and Naomi Howard; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Moore Boyd and a son, George E., Jr.

BOYLE, CATHERINE ANNE, age 97, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Sunday, December 17, 2006, at the Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabiltation Center. She was born in Philadelphia, PA, and moved to Cape May County in 1949. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and the Altar Rosary Society of the Church. She previously lived at the Victorian Towers for twenty four years.
She is survived by her daughter: Barbara A. Arenberg and her husband "Dutch" of Cape May Court House; six grandchildren: Catherine A. Tomlin and husband, Michael; Donald L. Miner and wife, Julie; Jeffrey H. Arenberg; Michael Miner and wife, Jodi; Dan Arenberg and wife, Judy; Keith Arenberg and wife, Nicole; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward V., and a daughter, Joan Boyle Miner.

Kevin R. Boyle age 44 of Neptune died Thursday, July 22, 2004 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. He was a fire inspector for Allied Fire and Safety Company, Neptune.
He belonged to several local softball, bowling and dart leagues. Born in Long Branch, he had lived in West Long Branch and Ocean Grove before moving to Neptune 5 years ago. He was predeceased by his father, Robert Boyle who died in 2001.
Surviving is his fiancée Michelle Larsen; his mother, Phyllis Ward Boyle, Tinton Falls; 4 sisters and 4 brothers in law, Deborah and Frank Melicharek, Bordentown; Janice and Roger Stewart, Ocean; Lois and John Strain, Belmar; Colleen and Gerald Crawford, Jackson; and he was a beloved and fun loving uncle to several nieces and nephews.
