Elizabeth M. Bass, 80, of Sebring, FL, formerly of South Dennis, died on Thursday, June 27, 2002 at home. She was born in Camden and lived in South Dennis from 1964 until she moved to Sebring in 1985.
She is survived by her sons, Robert and Diane Bass of Sebring, FL; Arthur and Judy Bass of Jamesville, VA; and Thomas Bass of South Dennis; her brothers and sister; Jack Whitehead and family of Barrington; Robert and Anna Riggins of Dunkirk, MD, Helen Bockhorn of Dennisville, and Arthur Riggins and family of Dennisville; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Vincent Bass, Sr. in 1967 and her son, Vincent Bass, Jr.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Union cemetery, South Dennis.

DIED: Thursday, March 27, 2008 AT Brinton Manor, Glen Mills, PA
Raised in Media, PA, Jean attended Media High School through the 11th grade. Jean was employed by the Yorkshire Mills as an invisible mender in the 1940's and 1950's. Jean retired from Fidelity Bank in 1988 after 28 years as a night proof operator.
Jean took great pride in her family and enjoyed caring for her home and yard. She moved into the Village Green Park upon her marriage in 1948 and held the record as the person who had lived the most years in the Park. Jean was known as a caregiver and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Jean had a wonderful sense of humor and was blessed with an ability to truly enjoy life.
Jean was predeceased by her late husband Gerald Joseph Battan and by her parents Anthony M. Schultz and Sara Jackson Schultz who also lived in Village Green Park. She is also predeceased by her good friend John Dougherty.
SURVIVORS: Survived by One Daughter: Diane (David) Kauffman; One Son: James Battan; Two Grandchildren: Sara Battan and Kerry Kauffman; Three Brothers: Robert, John (Muriel) and Barry Schultz; Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Battilana, Louis A. On March 16, 2008. Age 90. Of Cherry Hill. Wonderful, beloved and devoted husband of Rose (nee Sirroll) for sixty-five years. Louis will be sorely missed by his son Robert and daughter Valerie and her husband Robert Ball. Louis will also be missed by his nieces and nephews. Louis will always be remembered by his family as being a caring and selfless man. Louis served as a Captain in the Army Air Corps, intelligence unit, during WWII stationed in both Italy and Africa. In the late 1950's Louis built a home with his own hands in Cherry Hill in which he raised his family and spent many happy years together. After graduating from Pierce Business School, Louis spent a life-long career in the meat industry. He enjoyed the beach, cooking, spending time with his family and traveling to Aruba. Batts, James E.
James E. Batts, 47, of Wildwood Crest, passed away suddenly on April 4, 2003. He was born in Cape May Court House and was a lifetime resident of Wildwood Crest. He attended Wildwood High School and Cape May County Vo-Tech School. Most of his life he was a commercial fisherman. Recently he worked at Snow Doxie. He was a member of Crest Community Church in Wildwood Crest.
He is survived by his loving mother, Helen; his brother, Brian; his nephew, Colby; and many cousins.
Memorial service will be held on Friday, April 11, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. at the Crest Community Church, 5901 Pacific Avenue, Wildwood Crest, where friends may call after 10:30 a.m. A luncheon at the church will immediately follow the memorial service. BAUDER, Raymond T.
On June 24, 2007. Of Marlton, NJ, formerly of Philadelphia. Age 82. Beloved husband of the late Marie L. (nee Thatcher) Father of Albert Z. Conner of Stafford, VA. Devoted grandfather of Marshall, Owen and Gavin. As a young man, Mr. Bauder played for a farm team for the Philadelphia A's. He then served in the Army during World War II, participating in all of the campaigns from D Day until the end of the war in an anti-aircraft artillery unit. He also played on the European Theater Army Allstar Team. He was a salesman for Decca Records and then worked for over 40 years for MCA Entertainment. Friends are invited to greet the family 6-8pm Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at the BRADLEY FUNERAL HOME, Rt 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Memorial Service 8pm July 11 at the Funeral Home. Coaldale, Pa. and lived in this area since 1987. She was a self employed armature winder. She was preceded in death by her husband, August W., Jr. in 1985 and a son, William A. She is survived by two daughters: Judy Gow and her husband, Jim of Limerick, Pa. and Nancy Jean Pike and her husband, Bill of Sicklerville, NJ; twelve grandchildren and several great grandchildren. STEPHEN D. BAUGHN of Marlton, NJ, formerly of Columbus, OH passed away April 6, 2005 unexpectedly. He was 58. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Tana (nee Schneider), his children Amanda Evans and her husband Jason, Kathleen Boyles and her husband Charlie, Matthew Baughn and his girlfriend Jamie Reed, and his two grandchildren Mackenzie and Dylan. He is also survived by his brother Lawrence Baughn, aunt Phyllis Anthony, uncle Harlan Anthony, and many nieces and nephews. Steve was a long time employee of Lockheed Martin in Moorestown, NJ and a member of the KENMARSON AERO CLUB. Baum, Russell C.
BAUM, RUSSELL C., 73, on Dec. 5, 2004 at Thomas Jefferson Univ. Hospital after a long struggle. Born in Sunbury, PA, a graduate of the Business School at Univ. of Michigan in 1953. A retired Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Air Force. He developed and personally marketed the wrestling mats used today. He helped convince the State of West VA to buy and preserve the Mower Lumber logging railway into what is today the Cass Scenic Railway in Cass, West VA. In 1976, he started the Phila. Chapter of the Chaine des Rotisseurs that was considered one of the best chapters in the U.S. He was Bailli there until 1996. He was also Bailli of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Chaine that he started in 2001. He is survived by his wife Helen (nee Ballard); his son Lawrence F. and his wife Florence of South Carolina; his son Steven K. and his wife Martha of Wyndmoor, PA; grandchildren Kaitlyn and Andrew; a sister Virginia McGough of Cape Cod, MA. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday from 9-10 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Baumgart, Charles W.
Charles W. Baumgart, age 76, of Cape May Court House, NJ died on Sunday, July 1, 2007, at the Ocean View Center in Ocean View. Born in North Jersey, he graduated from Valley Forge Military Academy and later from Gettysburg College with a BA degree. He was honorably discharged from the US Army after serving during the Korean Conflict.
Charles worked as a sales representative for automotive machines and parts company. He was forced to retire early after a severe stroke at the age of 63. He lived in South Jersey for the past twenty years.
He is survived by his wife of forty fives years, Edith Ann, a sister, Eleanor B. Ritchie of Maryland and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents who owned an operated a famous ice cream and luncheonette in Englewood and Hackensack with all ice cream being made on the premises.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2007, at Noon at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ where friends may visit at 11 am. Interment will be in the Cold Spring Presbyterian cemetery.
Charles was an avid lover of all animals and in lieu of flowers, it would be appreciated that donations be made to the Animal Welfare Society, 40 Rt. 47 South, Dias Creek, NJ 08210.
Baxter, Ryan Matthew
Ryan Matthew Baxter, 14, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2003 at Cooper Hospital, Camden. He was born in Cape May Court House and was a lifetime resident here. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. He liked skateboarding and motorcross racing. He loved computers and using his Instant Message. Ryan was a freshman at Middle Township High School.
Ryan is survived by his father, Patrick Baxter of Cape May Court House; his mother, Marion Pellerin and her husband, James of West Cape May; his sisters, Amy Kendrick of Cape May Court House, Megan Abdill and Alexandria Pellerin, both of West Cape May; and his brother, James Pellerin, Jr. of West Cape May; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William J. Baxter of Cape May Court House; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Morris of Cape May; and his girlfriend, Amanda of Cape May Court House.

Bazler, Wallace L.
WALLACE L. BAZLER, 85, of Elberon, LONG BRANCH, formerly of Arlington Heights, Ill., died Tuesday, Aug. 26, at home. He was superintendent for Smith Corona Merchant, Kleinschmidt teletypewriter division, North Brook, Ill., for most of his career. He was a member of the Illinois First Aid Squad. His passions were woodworking, gardening and fishing. His handmade clocks, toys, lamps and other creations will live on with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and "hanging out" at his daughter's Pocono's retreat. He was an active participant in SCAN, men's aerobics and Kensington Court's Club. He will be remembered for his wit and wisdom, and particularly his dry sense of humor and positive outlook on life. Born in Portsmouth, Ohio, he lived most of his life in Illinois with his wife of 62 years, Julianna, before moving to Elberon in 2001 to live with his daughter, Judith Ann Bazler.
He was predeceased by Julianna in 1999; his parents, Ernest Phillip and Laura Brinkert Bazler; and two sisters, Pat and Evelyn. Surviving are two daughters, Judith Ann Bazler of Elberon and Bonita Marcoccia of Syracuse, N.Y.; two sisters, Darlene Holleran of Arizona and Beatrice Katusky; five grandchildren, Kirk Bazler Melnikoff, Dawn Marcoccia, Dana Smith and Jennifer and James Heaning; and five great-grandchildren, Finley Wolfe Melnikoff and Amber, Danny, Brandon and Edward Smith.
