Baldwin, Edna Barker
Edna Barker Baldwin age 59 of Ocean Township died Friday, January 2, at home. She was a teacher for the Ocean Township Board of Education retiring this month. She was past president of the Spartan Booster Club of the Ocean Township High School, a player agent for the Ocean Township Little League, and a member of the Human Resource Committee of Ocean Township. Mrs. Baldwin helped start the challenger softball league for the handicapped children, Ocean Township and the Ocean Township Girls Recreation Basketball program. She was named the Monmouth County Volunteer of the Year in 1993.
Mrs. Baldwin was a parishioner of St Michael's Roman Catholic Church, West End, Long Branch. Born in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, she lived in Brewster, NY before coming to Ocean Township 30 years ago. A consummate giver, Edna embodied strength, courage, and grace. She has touched the lives of so many and will continue to be an inspiration to all who knew her.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Harry B. Baldwin; 2 sons Scott R. Baldwin, Avon; Jeffrey M. Baldwin, Ocean Township; a daughter, Karen C. Baldwin, Belmar; 2 brothers, Albert Barker, Thomas Barker, 2 sisters, Marybelle Small, and Eleanore Brenner, all residing in Massachusetts.
Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, Third and Franklin Aves, Long Branch on Monday from 7-9 pm and Tuesday from 2-4, 7-9 pm. Funeral on Wednesday January 7, at 9:30 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am Mass at St Michael's Roman Catholic Church, West End. Interment will be in Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport. Baldwin, Richard Kaelker
Richard Kaelker Baldwin, 85, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2004 at Atlantic City Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia to the late John and Mary Baldwin, he moved here in 1983 from Philadelphia after summering for many years. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church, the Moose Lodge 585 of North Wildwood, the VFW, and the American Legion in Philadelphia. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. He worked as a Federal Protective Officer for GSA.
Mr. Baldwin is survived by his wife of 61 years, Violet (nee Iacaruso); his son, Richard A. Baldwin and his wife, Marie Urban of Montgomery Village, MD; his daughter, Violet Rixey and her husband, James of Cape May Court House; his grandchildren, Mark Baldwin and his wife, Jennifer, Ruth Baldwin, Janna Rixey, and Matthew Rixey; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Garrett Baldwin.
Funeral Liturgy will be said on Wednesday, June 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Parkway and East Mechanic St., Cape May Court House. Viewings will be held on Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House and on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will be on Thursday, July 1, 2004 at 12:00 p.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul cemetery, Springfield, PA. On October 25, 2004 of Medford. Age 87. Beloved husband of France A. Baloche. Father of NormaDee Stover of High Point, NC, and Lynda Baloche of Medford. Grandfather of Heidi Strawbridge of Plainfield, IL and great grandfather of Calton Salzman of W. Sacramento, CA. Brother of Yvonne Essner of Ormond Beach, FL and Roger Baloche of Maple Shade. Mr. Baloche was a Veteran of the Army during World War II, a member of the Medford American Legion Post and Medford Lodge 178 F&AM. He was also a member and former President of Medford Historical Society. He retired as District Sales Manager for Sears, and for 17 years owned La Ferme Antiques on Hartford Rd in Medford. Survived by daughters and sons-in-law William and Deborah (Barb) Tozour, III, Amin and Mary (Barb) Haq, Allen and Eileen (Barb) Long; and sons and daughters-in-law John M. (Jr.) and Maryanne Barb, Kirk B. and Lisa Barb, Thomas J. and Kimi Barb.
He was a loving grandfather to William, Jake, and Sam Tozour of Cape May Court House, NJ, Ben and John Morgan of Townsend, DE, Jackie, Kevin, Virginia, Patrick, Elizabeth, Max, Martha, and Michael Barb of Post Falls, Idaho, Ashley, Kelly, and Kirk (Jr.) Barb of Sewell, NJ, Tom (Jr.), Courtney, and Rebecca Barb of Woolwich Township, NJ.
Dr. Barb was born in Fort Worth, Texas on June 27, 1922. Predeceased by parents Kirk Bentley Barb, M.D. and Mary Mac Donnell Barb of Princess Avenue, Camden, NJ.
Dr. Barb was a graduate of the University Of Notre Dame, Class of 1945; St. Louis School Of Medicine, Class of 1946.
He was a Lieutenant, J.G. in The Navy, M.C.R., U.S.N.R. Flight Surgeon, 1943-1946.
He was employed by the New Jersey State Service, N.J. State Hospital, Trenton, NJ from 1953-1955. He was a long standing active medical staff member of Ancora Psychiatric Hospital 1953-1980.
"Jack" to his friends, he and his wife retired to Florida in 1989, returning to the Jersey Shore and their loving family in 1997.
He was a standing member of the Society Of The Sons Of The Revolution.
His surviving siblings are Mary Barb Johnson of Illinois and Eileen Barb Moore of Georgia.
He will be sorely missed by Bunter, his loving cat.

Born in Queens, NY, he has resided in Medford, NJ for the past 32 years moving there from Northern New Jersey. A School Administrator for the Evesham Twp. Public School District he served from 1969 – 1989 and was principal for the F.V. Evans School and the Jaggard School in Marlton, NJ. Prior to this he was with the Riverton School District from 1966 – 1969 and also the Willingboro School District. A graduate of Seaton Hall he was also a Veteran of WWII he served with the US Air Force 548th Air Service Squadron. He is survived by his beloved wife Beatrice C. Barbieri, Beatrice C.
Beatrice C. Barbieri (Nee Carson) of Medford, NJ died on Tuesday, October 23, 2001 at the Medford Care Center in Medford, NJ. She was 84 years of age. Born in the Jersey City, NJ, she has lived in Medford, NJ for 32 years moving there from Northern New Jersey. A 1937 graduate of the Teachers College in Jersey City, NJ she went on to receive her BS in Education from the NJ State Teachers Colege in Patterson, NJ in 1945. A dedicated teacher all her life, she retired from the Medford Lakes School System after 25 years of teaching there from 1960 - 1985. While there she wore many hats and taught english and history in the 6th grade. She will be remembered my many of her students. She is the wife of the late Chester C. Barbieri with whom she was married
for 47 years. She is survived by her brother-in-law Mario Barbieri of Wyomising, PA and many friends. WALTER JESUS BARBOSA, 64, of LONG BRANCH, died Saturday, March 19, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a construction worker for Local Union 472, Newark, and a member of the Portuguese Club in Newark. Born in Reguenga, Santo Tirso, Portugal, he had lived in Newark before moving to Long Branch in 1992. He was a parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch.
Mr. Barbosa was predeceased by his wife, Laurinda Barbosa, in 1992. Surviving are his three sons, Alcino Barbosa of Long Branch, Walter Barbosa Jr. of Union, and Wilson Barbosa of Union; two daughters, Maria Emilia Mejia of Long Branch, and Maria Assuncio Barbosa of Florida; two brothers, Oswald Barbosa of Newark, and Manuel Barbosa of Newark; a sister, Maria "Jose" Marbaes of Newark, and six grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third Ave.), Long Branch. The funeral will be offered at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. Phyllis A. Bardell, 55, of North Wildwood, died on Monday, September 3, 2001, at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Brooklyn, NY, and lived in Tenafly before moving here six years ago. She was a hotel reservations clerk and a member of St. Ann's Church.
Mrs. Bardell is survived by her husband, John C. Bardell, Sr.; her son, John C. Bardell, Jr., and his wife, Louise; and her daughter, Mary Grace Rathbun, and her husband, George, all of North Wildwood.

KRISTINE J. BAREUTHER "Teen", of Southampton, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 3rd, 2008 at her home in Leisuretowne. She was 72 yrs. of age. Born in Kane, PA, the daughter of the late Carl W. and Nellie V. Johnson, she has resided in Leisuretowne since 1992 moving there from the Oakwood Lakes Section of Medford. A graduate of Penn State University, Teen was a lifelong educator who began her career in the Pennsbury School District in Levittown, PA before moving to Laurel, MD and finally Medford, NJ where she taught for 28 years at the Haines, Taunton Forge and Cranberry Pines Schools and in 1988 was honored as the proud recipient of the Governor's Teacher of the Year Award. She was an active member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Marlton where she served many years on church council, participated as a lifelong Choir member and played a leadership role in many church activities. She is the beloved wife of Ernest E. Bareuther and the Loving Mother of Philip G. Jones and his wife Lisa Manzer of Poulsbo, WA, Carl M. Jones, PhD of Davis, CA and Carol M. Bareuther, RD and Dean Barnes, Esq. of St. Thomas, USVI. She is also survived by her Grandchildren Maya M. Jones, Cameron G. Jones, Rian B. Bareuther and Nikole P. Barnes. She is the former wife of Charles P. Jones. Earl B. Bark Jr., passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2002 at the Silver Care Center in Cherry Hill, NJ. He was 72 yrs. Born in Gary, Indiana, he has resided in Medford, NJ since 1959 except for a short time from 1985 – 1997 when he transferred to NY and then moved back to the area to Marlton, NJ in 1997. A Co-Owner of Bernard Haldane Associates in Phila., PA, a Career Counseling Firm, he started the business in 1964 and retired in 1990. He is a member of the Faith Presbyterian Church in Medford, NJ and was an avid sailor. He is a veteran of the Marine Corp. serving during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW in Reading, PA. He is survived by his son James T. Bark and his wife Denise of Westmont, NJ, his two daughters Linda L. Hamilton and her husband William of Medford, NJ and Kimberly R. Pauline I. "Papa" Barlow of Oakhurst, died Tuesday, June 14, 2005, peacefully at home. Born in Atlantic Highlands, she was a life resident of the Jersey Shore. She began her career as a secretary at Fort. Monmouth's Signal School and continued with 19 years of service to the Township of Ocean Board of Education, retiring in July 1997. She was a communicant of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, West Long Branch. Pauline found the greatest pleasure in being a homemaker and mother. She always had a sweet and gentle smile for all and will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, caring and giving grandmother, beloved sister and aunt and a dear and trusted friend. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul E. Barlow; her parents, Samuel and Louise Uliano Papa; three brothers, Anthony, Louis and Samuel; six sisters, Laitizia Aldarelli, Carmella Manganelli, Phyllis Spina, Ann Calendriello and Rose and Josephine Papa. She is survived and will be deeply missed by her three daughters, Deborah L. and her husband Michael Amato of Oakhurst; Patricia A. BARLOW, on July 21, 2002, Robert F. Jr. of Mt. Laurel, NJ, formerly of Cherry Hill, NJ age 78 yrs. Born in Phila., PA. he resided in Cherry Hill for 31 yrs., moving to Mt. Laurel 5 years ago. An electrical engineer with the Bureau of Naval Ships in Camden, NJ he worked there from 1946-1973 and then worked for JJ Henry in Mt. Laurel, NJ for 10 years. He was a Volunteer Fireman for 25 yrs. with the Deer Park Fire Company in Cherry Hill, NJ and was a Veteran of the Marines serving in WWII. He is the beloved husband of Shirley M. (Nee Wiggins) Barlow of Mt. Laurel, NJ and loving father of Nancy B. Knight of Mt. Laurel, NJ, Pamela Joyce Barlow of Boca Raton, FL and Jeffrey Robert Barlow of Poughkeepsie, NY. He is also survived by his brother Paul Hedrick Barlow of Charlotte, NC, his sister R. Valery McClay of Mt. Laurel, NJ and his loving Grandchildren Hope C. Knight, Leslie M. Knight, Justin R. Cecelia T. Barnes, 67, of Rio Grande, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at her home. Born in Philadelphia to the late John and Cecelia Agnes (Moore) Sheerin, she moved here in 1999 from Sharon Hill, PA. She enjoyed playing Bingo at St. Raymond's Church, St. John of God Church, and St. Ann's Church. She married
Robert A. Barnes on November 27, 1999. She formerly worked at the Collingdale Diner in Collingdale, PA.
Mrs. Barnes is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, John Carson, Kenny Carson, both of Northeast Philadelphia, Tony Cutilli of Ridley Park, PA, Robert A. Barnes, Jr., John (Ruthie) Barnes, Rita Mary (Joe) Shahade of Virginia Beach, VA, Annmarie (Dave) Bunel of Oxford, PA, and Kathy Barnes of Elkton, MD; her brothers, William Sheerin of Northeast Philadelphia and Thomas Sheerin of Jennersville, PA, her sisters, Patricia Sheerin of Rio Grande, and Mary (Bob) Gleason of Northeast Philadelphia; her 11 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. EDWIN D. "Doug" BARNES of Leisuretowne, Southampton, NJ, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 24, 2003. He was 65 yrs. of age. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he is the son of the late Lillian Onken Barnes and the late Edwin D. Barnes Sr. He attended the Cathedral of St. John the Divine as a choirister and moved to South Jersey in the 1950's living in Haddonfield before moving to Medford, NJ for 22 years and then Leisuretowne 4 years ago. He is a graduate of Haddonfield Memorial H.S. and attended Drexel University. A former Dir. Of Communications for the Univ. of PA. Hosp, he became an Independent communications consultant for medical institutions in the area and across the U.S. He served as the Dir. Of Development and Info. Systems for Associated Humane Societies and then in the 1990's he became the Public Relations Dir. and then the Facilities Mgr. for the Lutheran Social Ministries of NJ. From 2001 to Jan. 2003 he was the Dir. Of Outreach for the Christ Lutheran Church in Whiting, NJ. He is a devoted member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church where he served on various council and committee positions. He is the beloved husband of Janice A. (Nee Stoll) Barnes, loving father of Robert D. of Burlington, Deborah B. Rathman and her husband Geoffrey of Marlton, and Peg A. Bunning and her husband Bruce of Medford. He is also survived by his sister Charlotte B. Herron of Washington, PA and his two Grandchildren Kathryn Rathman and Noah Bunning. Beloved father of Donna Piva and her her husband Aldo of Voorhees, NJ, Carl Barone and his fiancé Annette Del Vecchio of Clementon, NJ, and Susan Gonzalez and her husband Ralph of Voorhees, NJ. Loving grandfather of Mario, Tina, Deana, Elyse, C.J., Nicole, and Victoria. Also survived by his sisters, Phyllis Cassesa and Anna George, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Barone was a Veteran of the US ARMY. He served his country during WWII. From 1950-1976 he owned and operated Barone Brothers Produce Market in West New York, NJ. In his spare time he enjoyed bowling, billiards, and gardening.
