Weinstein, William
YORK – William Weinstein, 80, of York, died at 5:09 p.m., Sunday, September 2, 2001, at York Hospital. He was the husband of Eleanor M. (Shelly) Weinstein.
The service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 4th, at Heffner Funeral Chapel & Crematory, 1551 Kenneth Road, York. Burial will be in Prospect Hill cemetery.
Mr. Weinstein was born November 10, 1920, in York, PA. He was the son of the late Samuel and Minnie (Viener) Weinstein.
Mr. Weinstein retired from Colonial Metals as a truck driver. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Viking Athletic Association, Girard Athletic Association, 12th Ward Independent Democratic Club, South End Democratic Club, Shiloh American Legion – Post 791 and Spring Grove V.F.W. – Post 5265.
Mr. Weinstein is also survived by four sons, Michael L., Chris S., Samuel E. and Bryan D. Weinstein all of York; two daughters, Sandra L. Dietz of Brogue and Sharon K. Nace of York; ten grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Officiating at the service will be Rabbi Irwin N. Goldenberg of Temple Beth Israel.

Wilmot, Lloyd E.
Lloyd E. Wilmot, 77, of Rio Grande, NJ, died on Sunday, June 6, 2004, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House, NJ. He was born in Carbondale, PA, and moved here in 1968 from Brooklyn, NY. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. He served in the US Navy during World War II, Korean Conflict and the Vietnam Era with duty for twenty years in the Navy and twenty three years in the Military Sealift Command. He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association, NARFE and AARP.
He is survived by his wife: Alma E. (Figaszewski); son: Richard L. of Rio Grande, NJ; daughter: Barbara-Jeanne (Donald) Sass of Carrollton, VA; brothers: Eugene of Concord, NC and Roland of NY; sisters: Hariett (George) Gates and Wanda (Harry) Warren both of NY; and grandson: Chad R. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Leon and Arnold.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at 11:00 AM at the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or a favorite charity.
Wilson, James P.
James P. Wilson age 86 years of Middletown Twp.,died on Thursday March 25, 2004 at Riddle Memorial Hospital Middletown Twp.,PA.
Born in Pelham,Tenn.,Mr.Wilson had been a resident of Middletown Township for 57 years. A retired Chief Mate for the Arco Fleet fior forty years until his retirement in 1979.
Mr. Wilson was a veteran of the US Merchant Marine having served in both the Atlantic and Pacific.
An active member of the Middletown Presbyterian Church Mr. Wilson had served as an Elder of the church.Active in Masonic organizations, Mr. Wilson was a member for over fifty years of Bartram-Sand Lodge #298 F&AM of Media,PA.,the Tall Cedars and the Ben Franklin Consistory.He also enjoyed golf.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Jeane(nee English) Wilson; 1 son; James F. Wilson of Middletown Twp.,and 1 daughter Barbara Meunier of Leesburg,Fla.,also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

ZUPKO, JOHN M., SR. passed away on April 25, 2004, in Voorhees, NJ. Formerly of Pompton Plains, NJ. Age 92. Husband of the late Helen S. Zupko. Father of John M. Zupko Jr. of Wenonah, NJ and the late Alan Zupkoof Malvern, PA. Also survived by his brother, Stephen Stracensky of Linden, NJ, 7 grandchildren: Stephen, Peter, Jean, Christine, Jennifer, Laura, and Timothy and 10 great grandchildren. Mr. Zupko worked for P.S.E. & G. for over 49 yrs. Retired in 1976 as Manager of Employee Benefits. Zito, Edward D.
ZITO, EDWARD D., on March 20, 2004 of Marlton, NJ for the past 15 years. Age 76 years. Beloved husband of Theresa (nee Cocchiola) for 48 years. Devoted father of Edward Zito and his wife Carrie and Donna Gatti and her husband Leonard. Loving grandfather of Lauren and Daniel. Dear brother of Dr. Paul Zito of Milltown, NJ. Born in Brooklyn, NY in 1927, Edward served in WWII as Seaman First Class in the United States Navy. He was also a Staten Island Ferry Boat Captain for 15 years. After graduating from St. John's University in NY, he enjoyed 25 years as an elementary school teacher in Valley Stream, NY. He was honored by his former community in Franklin Square, NY for his tireless dedication to sports, school and community activities. Mr. Zito was a volunteer for many years at Marlton Virtua Hospital and led a small local Parkinson's disease support group. He loved being a member of the Marlton Sons of Italy Lodge and cherished the many friendships he made through this wonderful group. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday from 7-9PM and Wednesday from 8:30-9:30AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 South in Marlton. Zambrano, Jeanne Cuda
Jeanne Cuda Zambrano age 91 of Long Branch died Monday, March 1, 2004 at home. She was a secretary at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch for 18 years. She was a graduate of Bloom Twp. High School, class of 1930, and Burnham Beauty School, Chicago, 1934, becoming manager and instructor at Blecker's Beauty Shop, Ill. She was a communicant of Holy Trinity R.C. Church. She was past president of the Rosary Altar Society, where she also held appointed and elected offices within. She was vice president and secretary of the Holy Trinity Seniors; past president of the Broadway School PTA and an active volunteer at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was member and secretary of the Long Branch Seniors, their advisory board, and wrote the "Senior Corner" for four years. Lastly, she was a member of AARP # 5918 and Communications Chairman of the Women's Club of Long Branch. Born in Chicago Heights, Ill., she moved to Long Branch in 1946. She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Zambrano in 1974; her sisters, Mary Foushi, Catherine Mounts and brothers, Nick and Charles Cuda.
Surviving are a son and daughter in law, Ralph A. and Therese Russoinello Zambrano of Eatontown, a sister, Angelene Tocco of Phoenix, AZ; three grandchildren, Ralph Zambrano, Jr., Adrian Cerco and Therese M. Zambrano; several nieces and nephews and godchild, Nina Foushi of Phoenix, AZ.

Zaleski, Eugene
ZALESKI, EUGENE, on March 14, 2004, of Marlton. Formerly of Philadelphia. Age 81. Beloved husband of Helen (nee Malik). Loving father of Lawrence and his wife Mary, Richard and his wife Kathryn, and Kenneth and his wife Alma. Also survived by his seven grandchildren: Lisa, Michael, Richard, Nicholas, Bridget, Gene and Kendra. Predeceased by his brother Edward. Mr. Zaleski was the former chairman of Boy Scout Troop #14 in Marlton and a member of the "Marlton Senior Citizens." A veteran of the U.S.M.C, he served his country during WWII. Young, Dr. Susan A.
Dr Susan A. Young Schiavo age 50 of West Long Branch passed away at home peacefully on December 29, 2003, after a six year battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease. Dr Young was a Professor of Education at Monmouth University, where she taught and did research, for the last 10 years. Formerly employed by the Long Branch Public School System, she was instrumental in the creation and development of a research-based early childhood literary curriculum that is still a part of the Joseph M. Ferraina Early Childhood Learning Center, Long Branch.
Joseph Ferraina, superintendent of the Long Branch School System, remembers her as "One of the people who instrumental in incorporating student teacher development into the preschool program. She was a truly dedicated and compassionate educator who made things happen."
Sue also worked with learning-disabled children, a task to which she dedicated her life. Born in Newark, she had lived in West Long Branch for the past 20 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Long Branch. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony "Ducky" Schiavo who died in 2001. She is survived by her three sons, Michael, Erin, and Lorin, her parents, William and Betty Young, a sister, Mary Lou Shea, her mother in law, Angela Schiavo and many family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Friday January 2, 2004, at 11 am from the First Presbyterian Church, Cedar and Hoey Aves, Long Branch. An additional memorial service is being planned for Dr Young at Monmouth University, tentatively scheduled for the week of January 19, 2004. Gertrude D. Yesgosh, 80, of Cape May, passed away on Saturday, June 12, 2004 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Vince and Gertrude (Bolger) Elm and moved here in 1959. She moved to Cape May Court House in 1979. She formerly was a director for the Cape May County Red Cross. She was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church.
She is survived by her husband, George A. Yesgosh, Sr.; her son, George A. Yesgosh, Jr. of Cape May; her sister, Delores Corcoran of Clearwater, FL; and her granddaughters, Jessica and Emily.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at her son's home, 1087 Michigan Avenue, Cape May, where friends may call after 12:00 p.m. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Yarrish, Stephanie
Yarrish, Stephanie, 85, of Woodbine, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2003 at Crestwood Nursing Home, Whippany. Born in Woodbine to the late Joseph and Anelia (Krupa) Kosher, she was a lifetime resident here. She worked as a cook at Crest Haven. She was a member of St. Casimir's Church in Woodbine, the Dennis Township Seniors Club, and the Polish American Club.
Mrs. Yarrish is survived by her sons, Lawrence of West Caldwell, and Frank of Sarasota, FL; her sisters, Mary Gurdgiel and Julia Trione; her brother, Albert Kosher; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank.
Funeral Liturgy will be said on Friday, October 10, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Casimir's Church, 304 Clay Street, Woodbine. Walter J. Yarborough, age 78 of Tinton Falls died Friday, May 14 at the St. Barnabas Hospice at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He served his country honorably, retiring from the US Navy, then Army Air force. His last position was a Dental Technician. He was a Free and Accepted Mason. Born in Lexington , N.C. he lived in Toms River before moving to Tinton Falls 19 years ago. Surviving is his wife, Antoinette Ravaschieri Yarborough; a daughter and son in law, Ann Marie and Joseph Grippe of Bayville; a step son and his wife, Michael J. and Patricia DeMayo of Oceanport; three brothers, William of Greensboro, N.C., Robert of Lexington, N.C. and Gordon of High Point, N.C.; four sisters, Matilda Adams, Nancy Trudgen of Ashboro, Charlotte Tuttle of Rural Hall and Alice Ingram of North Point, all North Carolina; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.
