Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM at the Church of St. Joan of Arc, 100 Willow Bend Road in Marlton. Interment Br. Gen. William C. PIZZUTILLO, Costello W. "Tony"

On March 24, 2004, of Voorhees. Age 84. Beloved husband of the late Ida (nee Angelastro) Loving father of Peter and his wife Barbara of Wynnewood, PA, Joseph and his wife Corinne of Voorhees, and Anthony and his wife Patricia of Lawrenceville. Devoted grandfather of eleven and great grandfather of four. Mr. Pizzutillo served in the Army Air Force during World War II. He was a great outdoorsman, hunter, fisherman and a homesteader in Alaska. He enjoyed writing and painting. He is a retired residential and commercial general contractor. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing 9-11am Saturday at St Andrew the Apostle Church, Kresson Gibbsboro Rd. at Haddonfield Berlin Rd. (Rt 561) in Gibbsboro. Mass of Christian Burial 11am Saturday at the church. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer's Assoc, 11000 Lincoln Dr., West, Suite 7, Marlton, NJ 08053.

Platt, Joshua P.

PLATT, JOSHUA PAUL suddenly on April 15, 2004 of Mt. Laurel and Philadelphia, age 52 years. He leaves behind his wife, Lisa DiChiara Platt. His two children, the center of his life, Jacob and Emily. Loving parents Allen and Judy Platt. Dear brothers, Tom and Robert Platt and sister, Tess Hemphill. Josh was a psychologist in a private practice in Philadelphia for over 20 years. He had a down to earth approach to therapy and amazing empathy with his patients. He loved movies, hardboiled mysteries and friends and family. He also lived to laugh and have a good time. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday from 6-8 PM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 S. and Evesham Rd. in Marlton. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 10 AM at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 401 N. Kings Highway, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034. Interment will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations in Josh's name to the Ministers Discretionary Fund at the church listed above.

Posey, John H.

John H. Posey, 83, of Cape May Court House, died on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Jersey City to the late Harold and Maude Spencer Posey. He was a retired District Sales Manager of the Home News in New Brunswick. He moved here from Spotswood in 1986. He was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church; the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge of Wildwood; the Thurston Elmer Wood Post 198 of the American Legion and received the Distinguished Service Medal from serving in the United States Navy in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was stationed on the USS Dakota during World War II and the USS Twining during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria R. (Toms) Posey; two daughters, Diane M. Posey of Cape May Court House, and Margaret Anne Hilton and her husband, Dennis of Englishtown; and one grandson, Collin Hilton.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Monday, June 21, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call at 10:00 a.m. Private interment will follow in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.

Powers, Priscilla M.

Priscilla M. Powers, 65, a former resident of Avalon, NJ for ten years, died on Wednesday, October 8, 2003 at the Atlantic City Medical Center Mainland Division, Pomona, NJ. She was born in Camden, NJ, the daughter of the late Dominic and Vita Termine. She had lived in Audubon, NJ for twenty seven years prior to moving permanently to Avalon. She was a receptionist for HCM in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Mrs. Powers was a member of the Maris Stella Church in Avalon and the Holy Rosary Society there. She was also a member of the Garden Club of Avalon and Sea Isle City and various book clubs as she was an avid reader.

She is survived by her husband: H. Guy; sons: H. Guy, III and his wife, Annette of Audubon, and Gary T. of Arlington, VA; daughter: Gail L. of West Deptford, NJ; brothers: Louis Kinkle of Sewell, NJ, William Kinkle of Pennsauken, NJ, and Al Kinkle of Ft. Myers, FL; sisters: Donemica Huber of Biloxi, MS and Frances Kinkle of Red Bank, NJ; and granddaughters: Terri and Danielle.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Monday, October 13, 2003, at 11:00 AM at Maris Stella Church, 50th St. and Dune Dr., Avalon, NJ where friends may call after 9:00 AM. Interment is private. Memorials may be made to the Holy Rosary Society of Maris Stella Church, 50th St. and Dune Dr., Avalon, NJ 08202.

Primavera, Minnie I.

Minnie I. Del Tufo Primavera, age 98 of Long Branch died Friday, March 26, 2004 at St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was proprietor, along with her late husband, of Primavera's Italian Specialty Store, Long Branch, which was opened in 1944. She was a parishioner at Our Lady Star of the Sea Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch, where she served on the Rosary Altar Society. She was a member of the Young at Heart Club of West Long Branch. Born in Newark, where she had lived, before moving to Long Branch 75 years ago. She was predeceased by her husband, Rudolph F. Primavera in 1992. Surviving are two sons and daughters in law, Rudolph Jr., and Angela Primavera and Ralph and Joan Primavera, Both of West Long Branch; a daughter and son in law, Theresa and Robert Tomasulo of Long Branch; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., (corner of Third), Long Branch on Sunday, March 28 from 1-5 pm. Funeral, Monday, 9:00 am from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 10:00 am at Our Lady Star of the Sea R.C. Church, Long Branch. Interment will follow at Woodbine cemetery, Oceanport. Donations are requested to St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Ave., CW6, Long Branch, NJ 07740.

Pierucci, Ida Mae

PIERUCCI, Ida Mae (nee Redmer) on January 7, 2004 of Marlton, NJ. Age 79 years. Beloved wife of Charles C. for almost 51 years. Devoted mother of Ida Mae Thompson, Janice Ondusko and her husband Russell Jr. and John Pierucci and his wife Susan. Loving grandmother of Heather and her husband Steve, Christopher and his wife Jennifer, Russell III, Carl and Jennifer and great grandmother of Paige and Angel. Also survived by many other loving relatives and friends. Mrs. Pierucci was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Marlton for 39 years. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Saturday from 9-10:30 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, 601 Rt. 73 South, Marlton. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill, NJ.

Philipp, Theodore

THEODORE PHILIPP passed away suddenly on Saturday, April 17th, 2004 at his home in the Leisuretowne Section of Southampton, NJ. He was 71 yrs. of age. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, he resided in Leisuretowne for the past 4 ½ years moving there from Willingboro, NJ. He is the son of the late Alexander & Anna Philipp and a retired member of the US Navy. After retiring from the Navy he owned and operated Ted's Home Improvements in and around Willingboro, NJ. He is the beloved husband of Sharon C. (Nee Needham) Philipp of Southampton, NJ and the loving father of Raymond M. Philipp and his wife Joanne of Waterford Works, NJ and Robert D. Philipp of Palmyra, NJ. He is also survived by his 3 sisters Caroline Terry of Monroe Twp., NJ Elizabeth Ballou of FL and Anita Szabo of Franklin Twp., NJ and his grandchildren Raymond Jr. and Jessica Lynn both of Waterford Words, NJ. He is the father of the late Kurt A. Philipp. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Rd. Medford, NJ, (609-953-7600) where a Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow be private and at the convenience of the family. Phelan, Virginia Mary

VIRGINIA MARY PHELAN (nee Powelson) on July 12, 2004 of Marlton. Wife of the late John Lewis Phelan. Mother of Frank L., Thomas J., Michael J., Matthew S., Mary-Margaret Bujak and the late John P., Frederick W. and James H. Also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, feline daughter Marie, feline granddaughters Speckles and Weena and three grand-fish. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Friday July 16, 2004 from 7-9 PM and Saturday July 17, 2004 from 8:30-9:30 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 South in Marlton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00AM at the Church of St. Isaac Jogues, Elmwood Rd and Evesboro-Medford Rd in Marlton. Interment Holy Sepulchre cemetery in Cheltenham, PA.

Pfau, Gordon William

Gordon William Pfau, 86, of Sea Isle City, NJ, formerly of Aldan, PA, passed away June 1, 2004 at home under the care of Compassionate Care Hospice. Born in Linwood, PA, Gordon graduated from Girard College. He was honored with Girard College's distinguished Award of Merit.

With the outbreak of World War II, Gordon enlisted in the navy and served in the Naval Intelligence Service in the Pacific and was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars. Returning home from the war, Gordon resumed his career as an investment banker joining Stroud and Company and then Prudential Bache in Philadelphia. Gordon served as President of the Municipal Bond Club of Philadelphia and formerly was a member of the Union League.

Various organizations benefited from his generous and dedicated civic service. As a Trustee of the Delaware County Community College, he was recognized as a distinguished member of the Foundation Board of Directors of the College. In Sea Isle City, he served as President of Chapter 710 AARP. A member of the Madonna Maria Council, Knights of Columbus, he received the Knights of Columbus Senior Citizen's May 2004 Award. Honored with the mayor's Award, City of Sea Isle, Gordon also was recognized by the Cape May County Advisory Commission on the Status of Women. He had served as a member of the School Board for St. Joseph's Regional School, Sea Isle City and a member of the Men of Malvern.

Gordon is survived by his wife of 62 years: T. Virginia (nee Chadwick) of Sea Isle City; daughter: Sr. Virginia M. Pfau, IHM of Monroe, MI; son: Dr. Richard G. (Mary) Pfau of Millersville, MD and their three children, Gabrielle, Joseph, and Nicholas; step-brother: Lawrence (Jean) Murray of Bridgeton, NJ; and a step-brother: Robert (Alice) Murray of Cape May Court House, NJ, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Joseph's Church, Sea Isle City, on Thursday, June 3, 2004 with visitation from 10:00am to 11:30am. The Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 12:00pm. Interment will be in the Veterans cemetery of Cape May County. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of IHM Ministry Fund, 610 W. Elm Av., Monroe, MI 48162-7909.

Perry, Frank

PERRY, FRANK on April 18, 2004 of Cherry Hill for 31 years. Age 70. Beloved husband of Anna (nee Marcacci) for 47 years. Devoted father of Jean and her husband Edmund Spinelli, Jr. and Anthony Perry. Loving grandfather of Frank, Justin, Amanda, Elysia and Alexa. Prior to retirement, Mr. Perry was employed as a printer for PCI in Pennsauken. He was also a United States Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday from 9-10:20 AM at the Church of St. Mary, 2001 Springdale Rd. in Cherry Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM. Interment Fernwood cemetery in Fernwood, PA. If desired memorial donations may be made in Frank's name to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd. Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.

Perez, Elizabeth Francisca

Elizabeth Francisca Perez, 7, of Wildwood, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2002 at Children's Hospital, Philadelphia. She was born in Cape May Court House and was in second grade at Glenwood Avenue Elementary School in Wildwood.

Elizabeth is survived by her mother, Araann Maldonado; her father, Oscar Perez; her brothers, Jerald "J.J." Maldonado and Stanley Williams; her step grandfather, Raymond Rivera, husband of the late Elizabeth Barnes, of Manahawkin; her great aunt, Linda Taylor of Wildwood; and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Seaside cemetery, Palermo. Donations may be made in her memory to Give Kids The World, 210 South Bass Road, Kissimmee, FL 34746 or Make A Wish Foundation, 1034 Salem Road, Union, NJ 07083 or The Ronald McDonald House, 3925 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104.

Perchin, Anna M.

Anna M. Manzi Perchin age 90 of West Long Branch died Sunday, February 29, 2004 at St. Barnabas Hospice at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was a parishioner of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch and its Rosary Altar Society. She loved to knit and crochet. She was very devoted to her family. She was predeceased by her husband, George R. Perchin in 1996; her parents, Salvatore & Caroline Knight Manzi; her brothers, Phillip, Louis, John, Frank and Joseph Manzi and sisters, Carmella Melone, Grace Scialla and Rose Brockreide. She is survived by 5 daughters and 3 sons in law, Joan and Frank Campanella of Oceanport, Shirley Yourie of West Long Branch, Angela and William Dempster of West Long Branch, Carol and Ralph D'Antonio of Atlantic Highlands and JoAnne Anechiarico of West Long Branch; one sister in law, Josephine Manzi; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Frank and Carol Campanella, Anne and Julian Stinson, Carolyn and Howard Lazerson, Debbie and Anthony Perella, William Jr. and Gina Demspter, Kelly Dempster and Ralph Jr. and Melissa D'Antonio; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., corner of Third Ave., on Thursday, March 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Friday, March 5, 11:00 am from funeral home with Mass offered at 12:00 pm at Holy Trinity Church, Long Branch. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Mausoleum, Oceanport.

Pennell, Doris F.

Doris F. Pennell, 82, of Stone Harbor, NJ, died on Monday, February 16, 2004, at the Victoria Manor Nursing Home, North Cape May, NJ. She was born in New Cumberland, PA, and lived in Marlton Lake, NJ before moving here in 1988. She summered here prior to that. She was a member of the Our Saviour Lutheran Church, the Stone Harbor Garden Club, Stone Harbor Seniors and Women's Civic Club, and the Yacht Club. She was a graduate of Gettysburg, PA College, and was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority.

Mrs. Pennell is survived by two daughters: Ann P. Gallucio of Wilmington, DE, and Mary P. Licata and husband, Jerry; grandchildren: Lee and Jason Moffett of Wilmington, DE, Jerome Licata and wife, Tammi, and Carrie Maleski and husband, Chris, both of Cape May Court House, NJ, and Kendra Rickards and husband, Joel, of Aldan, PA; and four great grandchildren.

A service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2004, at 1:00 PM at the Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 92nd and Third Av., Stone Harbor, NJ. Interment is in Cape May County Veterans cemetery. Memorials may be made to Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 289-92nd St., Stone Harbor, NJ 08247, or the Stone Harbor Fire and EMS, PO Box 539, Stone Harbor, NJ 08247.

Pellegrino, Rocco J.

Rocco J. Pellegrino, 57, of Millville, formerly of Glendora, died on August 29, 2001 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Prior to his illness, Mr. Pellegrino was owner and operator of several beauty salons in the South Jersey area for 35 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to the celebration of his life on Monday, September 3, 2001 from 7-9 at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 AM at the Church of St. Teresa in Runnemede. Interment will take place at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.
