Eisenberg, Abraham

Abraham Eisenberg, died on Tuesday, March 16, 2004, at the Shore Memorial Hospital. Born in Woodbine, NJ, he was the son of the late Samuel and Amelia Fenster Eisenberg, and was a lifetime resident here. He was a cashier at Caesar's Casino. He was an Army Veteran of World War II serving in the European Theatre. He was a member of the Woodbine American Legion and the Woodbine Rescue Squad, and enjoyed fishing, bowling. He had a captain's license and was captain for Captain Cramer. He also had an aircraft pilot's license.

He is survived by his wife of fifty three years, Beatrice M. (Oxley); sons: William and wife, Kathryn of Douglassville, PA, and Eric S. and wife, Kimberly Anna of Millville, NJ; brother: Martin J. Evans, of Woodland Hills, CA; grandchildren: Cherie (Ronald) Yergey, Tina (James) Arsenault, Katelyn Nicole and Joshua David Eisenberg; great grandchildren: James and Kira Yergey and Ryan Arsenault; and step-grandchildren: Mary and Jason Kozak.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 19, 2004, at 11:00 AM at the Head of the River cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ. There will be a viewing on Thursday, March 18, 2004 at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ from 7:00 to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 8:30 PM. Memorials may be made to the Belleplain Rescue Squad.

Ebert, George F.

George F. Ebert age 60 of Long Branch died Monday, February 23, at St. Barnabas Hospice at Monmouth Medical Center Long Branch. He was a clerk at AGFA in Jamesburg for 33 years before retiring. He served honorably in the US Army. He was a parishioner of R.C. Church of the Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach. Born in Long Island, NY he lived in Plainfield before moving to Long Branch 13 years ago. Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., Long Branch is in charge of arrangements. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.

Easterday, William J.

EASTERDAY, William J. of Cherry Hill NJ, on July 18, 2003. Beloved husband of Elizabeth F. Easterday. Loving father of Gregory W. Easterday and Margaret E. Stephens. Brother of Jay Easterday and Martine Simonetti. Bill was a Supervisor with General Motors for 37 years. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Tuesday from 1-3pm at Bradley Funeral Home Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd. Marlton where a Funeral Service will be held at 3pm Tuesday. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family. If desired, donations may be made in Bill's memory to Compassionate Care Hospice 2202 Chapel Ave. 4th Floor Cherry Hill NJ 08002.

Ferreira, Dulcinea Cruz

Dulcinea Cruz Ferreira, age 63, of Eatontown died Wednesday, July 14, at home. Born in Cantanhede, Portugal, she came to the United States in 1973 living in Long Branch before moving to Eatontown 27 years ago.

She started as a sewing machine operator for approximately 10 yrs. She then became a housekeeper and took care of elderly helping with their daily tasks. The last few years she spent taking care of her beloved grandchildren. She was a member of the Portuguese Lions Club of Union. She was predeceased by her father, Manuel Pereira. Surviving is her husband of 43 years, Antonio Ferreira; one son, Mark Ferreira of Eatontown; two daughters and two sons in law, Dulce and Robert Hoplock of Tinton Falls and Paula and Patrick Trush of Phoenix, AZ; her mother, Maria Augusta Pereira of Portugal; two brothers ; two sisters and three grandchildren.

Relatives and friends may call at the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave, corner of Third Ave, Long Branch on Friday, July 16 from 6-9 pm. The funeral will start with a Mass of Christian burial at St. Dorothea Roman Catholic Church, Eatontown on Saturday, beginning at 9:30 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet cemetery, Middletown. Memorial donations may be made to the Portuguese Lions Club of Union, P.O. Box 1511, Union, NJ 07083.

FITZPATRICK, Gail A.

(nee Prosser) On July 21, 2003, of Sicklerville, formerly of Cramer Hill section of Camden. Age 63. Beloved wife of the late Joseph T. Fitzpatrick, Sr. Loving mother of Joseph T. Fitzpatrick, Jr. of Pennsauken, Mark J. Fitzpatrick of Blackwood, Evelyn Rushworth of Pennsauken, Gail Fitzpatrick of Pennsauken, Dorothy Fitzpatrick of Clementon and the late Jeffrey Fitzpatrick. Devoted grandmother of Michael A. Fitzpatrick, John H. Rushworth, Joseph T. Fitzpatrick, 3rd, Jason R. Rushworth, Samantha Fitzpatrick, Megan Coffield, Michael Mengle, Christopher Fitzpatrick, Mark Fitzpatrick, Jr., Ashley Fitzpatrick, Nicole Mengle, Damien Fitzpatrick, Amber Fitzpatrick, Julian Fitzpatrick, Taylor Fitzpatrick and Shannon Fitzpatrick. Great grandmother of Joseph T. Fitzpatrick, 4th and Daniel Benvenutti. Dear sister of Richard Prosser of Glendora, Daniel Prosser of Sicklerville and the late Dorothy Papale. Fulcher, Lucius

Lucius Fulcher, 73, of Wildwood, NJ, died on Saturday, May 8, 2004, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. He was born in Millhaven, GA. He was a retired maintenance worker for the Wildwood Park Commission. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by a sister, Betty Butler of N. Augusta, SC and a brother, Mount Olie Fulcher, Jr., of Hyattsville, MD.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2004, at 11:00 AM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House, NJ where friends may call at 10:30 AM. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.

Furlong, Robert P.

FURLONG, ROBERT P. on March 12, 2003, of Mt. Laurel, NJ. Formerly of Willingboro, NJ. Age 83. Husband of the late Thelma Furlong. Predeceased by his son, Robert J. Furlong. Beloved brother of Dorothy A. Walz of Cape Coral, FL, Patricia Tesio of Long Island, NY, and the late Grayce Ackerman. Mr. Furlong was a Veteran of the US NAVY, serving his country during WWII. He was also a member of the VFW and AARP. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Wednesday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 PM and Thursday from 9:15-10:15 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:15 AM Thursday at St. John Neumann Church, Walton, Ave., Mt. Laurel, NJ. Burial will be in Odd Fellows cemetery, Rt. 130, Burlington, NJ.

Fusco, Annastasia (Anne) T.

Annastasia (Anne) T. Fusco, 86, of Palermo, died on Tuesday, March 23, 2004 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. She was born in New York City and moved here in 1949. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Sea Isle City, the Catholic Daughters of America, the Women's Auxiliary of the VFW, and St. Joseph's PTA and Bingo.

Mrs. Fusco is survived by her children, Susan Rossi and her husband, John, Patricia Tanghare and her husband, Joseph, all of Cape May Court House, and James Fusco and his wife, Debbie of Palermo; nine grandchildren; and nineteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis on December 3, 1988 and her son, Thomas on May 23, 1990.

Funeral Liturgy will be said on Friday, March 26, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 4308 Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City. Viewings will be held on Thursday, March 25 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House and on Friday for one hour before the Mass at the church. Interment will be in the Cape May County Veterans cemetery.

Franey, Mildred M.

FRANEY, MILDRED M. (nee Mease) on May 4, 2004 of Marlton, NJ. Age 86. Beloved wife of the late James. Devoted mother of Jude, Mary Picciolo, Mildred Carroll, Catherine Rotondi, Maureen Esterlund, Anne Braunstein, Patricia Handy, Carol Okupniak and the late Marilyn Franey. Loving grandmother of 21 and great grandmother of 10. Dear sister of Harold Mease and Caroline Stump. Relatives and friends are invited to the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10 AM at the Church of St. Joan of Arc, 100 Willow Bend Rd in Marlton. Interment will take place at St. John Neumann cemetery in Chalfont, PA. FRANKS, DANIEL F. on July 16, 2004, of Marlton, NJ. Formerly of Mt. Laurel, NJ. Age 69. Beloved husband of Barbara Franks (nee Rossi). Loving father of Dr. Raymond A. Folen of Honolulu, HI, Victor A. Folen of Silverdale, WA, Barbara M. Schafish of Cherry Hill, NJ, Louisa D. Dulin of Fredericksburg, VA and Andrew D. Franks of Franklinville, NJ. Brother of Harry Franks of Middletown, CT and Mary Patrick of Lakeland, FL. Also survived by his grandchildren, Jason, Joshua, Alana, Michael, and Elisabeth, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Franks was the owner of Eck's Wallpaper Center in Cinnaminson, NJ for over 30 years. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Thursday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt. 73 & Evesham Rd., Marlton. Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Brig. General William c. Doyle Veterans cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. FRANZ, ANN A.

On March 2, 2004 of Marlton, NJ age 84 years. Beloved wife of Richard. Devoted mother of Joseph R. and his wife Sandra of Centennial, CO, William K. of Marlton and Ann E. and her husband James Hoffman of Marlton. Loving grandmother of Shannon A., Kelli M. and Evan J. Langran and Erica Weimer. Also survived by a devoted cousin Ronnie Pleiss. Mrs. Franz was a member of the Marlton Senior Citizens Club for 25 years, where she served as the current Treasurer. Relatives & Friends are invited to the viewing on Thursday from 6:30-8PM at the Bradley Funeral Home, Rt 73 S. and Evesham Rd in Marlton. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 8PM. Interment will take place on Friday at Gate of Heaven cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.

Frederick, Evelyn

Evelyn Frederick, 102, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Born in Auburndale, FL to the late Sam and Belle (Carter) McNeil, she moved here in 1991 from Philadelphia, PA. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, 21st and Christian Avenue, Philadelphia, where she was a member of the choir and the Semper Fidelis Club.

She is survived by her sister, Edith Jenkins of Cape May Court House; and her niece, Yvonne Price of Whitesboro.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, East Atlantic Avenue, Cape May Court House, where relatives and friends may call after 12:00 p.m. Interment will be in Fairview cemetery, Cape May Court House.

Froelich, Adele

Adele Froelich (nee McKenna), June 10, 2004, age 81. Beloved wife of the late Michael Froelich of Dennisville, NJ and Sebring, FL. Daughter of James and Elizabeth McKenna, of Glen Parish, Maghera, Co. Derry, Ireland. Also predeceased by Jack Worrall and her siblings: Anna (Tom) Slavin, Rita (Chas.) Feldmayer, Joseph, Raymond and Louis. Loving mother of Dr. Jack (Janet) Worrall, Ed Worrall, Diane Worrall, Tom (Fran) Worrall, Kathleen (Rev. Dr. Frank) Reeder, Christine (Richard) Frame, Patricia (Phil) Ziolkowski, Michelle (Tom) Mellon, Jeff (Gloria) Froelich, and loving stepmother of Michael (MaryRuth) Froelich, Marjorie (Gene) Martin, and Mark (Fran) Froelich. Sadly missed by John and Howard "Peanut" Trout. Loving grandmother of 33, great-grandmother of 31, and great-great grandmother of 1.

Formento, III, Joseph Anthony

Joseph Anthony Formento, III, 49, of South Dennis, died on Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at home after a long illness. A lifelong resident of the region, Joseph was a master carpenter and co-owner of Treehouse, Inc., "A Carpentry Service". An excellent gourmet cook and oenophile, Joseph was active as an assistant coach in Little League and American Legion Baseball and was a regular and vociferous fan.

A loving husband, father and friend, he is survived by his beloved wife, Melinda; two sons, Adam and Lyn, his mother, Sophia Formento Lanzilotta; and sisters, Patricia Heardon and June Vassallo. He is the son of the late Joseph Formento, Jr. In addition to his many friends, he leaves behind a legacy of memories filled with laughter, love and joy. His vibrancy, larger than life presence and huge heart will be sadly missed.

A Memorial Liturgy will be said on Monday, February 16, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Angels Church, East Mechanic Street and the Garden State Parkway, Cape May Court House. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Middle Township High School Baseball Scholarship Fund, 1 Penkethman Way, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210 or the Glioblastoma Research Foundation, 658 Route 47 North, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Fowler, Francis A. "Frank"

FRANCIS A. "FRANK" FOWLER, 54, of Reno, Nev., formerly of WALL, died Sunday, March 14, at home. Dedicated to law enforcement, he was a sergeant with the Reno Cannon International Airport Police. Prior to this he was a patrolman with the Manasquan Police Department, firearms instructor for the Monmouth County Police Academy, deputy for the Washoe County Sheriff's Department, including S.W.A.T. and C.S.I., and a certified drug recognition expert, obitpix Police Academy instructor and insurance fraud investigator for the Nevada Attorney General's Office. Born in Neptune, he lived in Wall before moving to Reno.

Surviving are his wife, Diana Fowler; a stepson, Mark Houge; a sister, Mary Risden; two daughters, Kathleen Fowler and Susan Oliverio; two granddaughters, Brittany Stevenson and Linda Oliverio; and a grandson, Anthony Oliverio.

Friends and relatives may call at the First Baptist Church, 41 South Street, Manasquan, NJ on Saturday May 1, 2004 from 1 to 1:30 PM. A Memorial service will begin at 1:30. Frank requested that donations be made to your favorite charity or to the American Cancer Society.

Fisher, Keith E.

KEITH E. FISHER of Southampton, NJ died suddenly on Wednesday, February 6, 2002 at his home in Southampton, NJ. He was 58 yrs. of age. Born in Camden, NJ, he grew up in Palmyra, NJ where he graduated from Palmyra High School. He then went to work for Hoeganaes Corp. where he has worked for the past 40 years, presently as a Shipping Technician. He is a veteran of the Navy and a fan of RailRoads. He has resided in Southampton, NJ for the past 32 years moving there from Medford and Palmyra, NJ. He is the beloved husband of June E. (Nee Barricelli) of Southampton, NJ and the loving father of Kevin J. Fisher and his wife Crystal of Hainesport, NJ and Amanda J. Fisher of Southampton, NJ. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Monday from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the BRADLEY & STOW FUNERAL HOME 127 Medford-Mt. Holly Road (Rt. 541), Medford, NJ (609-953-7600), where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the Jr. Mechanics Cem. in Tabernacle, NJ.
