Demyan, Robert J.
Robert J. Demyan, age 71, of Dennisville, NJ died on Friday, November 16, 2001, at his home after an extended illness. Born in Burleigh, NJ, he served in the United States Marine Corps. He resided in Philadelphia and later Ardsley, Pa. and was a Bell Atlantic employee for 34 years. He retired in 1988 and moved to Dennisville, NJ. He was a member of the Boy Scouts for 58 years and Scoutmaster of Troops 243, 225 and 348 for 40 years. He was president of the Dennis Township Schoolhouse Museum and a member of the Cape May Court House Kiwanis Club. He was a former president of the Philadelphia Optimist Club and a former member of the Mayfair Optimist Club.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years years, Margaret (nee Burton); his daughter and her husband, Debra and Timothy Kemmler of West Chester, Pa. and his son, Robert, Jr. of SanFranciso, CA; three grandchildren: Stefanie, Julianne and Alexander Kemmler.
Relatives and friends are invited to his service on Tuesday at 11am. at the Dennisville United Methodist Church, Main Street, Dennisville where they may call at 10 am. DeMaria, Ronald H.
Ronald H. DeMaria, age 64 of West Long Branch, a leading member of the New Jersey Bar, died Thursday April 22, at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, New York. He was a partner in the law firm of Genova, Burns, and Vernola, Livingston. He received his JD at Seton Hall University and his MBA at Rutgers School of Business. For more than 35 years, he specialized in labor and employment law. While representing management, he gained an intimate knowledge of all aspects of practice and procedure before the National Labor Relations Board. He earned the confidence of his clients through his sound advice in labor negotiations, arbitration and through strikes and labor union campaigns. His representation was regularly sought in both state and federal courts on such issues as discrimination, sexual harassment and wrongful discharge. New Jersey Magazine recognized Mr. DeMaria as one of the outstanding labor and employment lawyers in New Jersey.
Mr. DeMaria's many professional achievements also included having been editor in chief of the Seton Hall Law Journal and later president of that law school's alumni association. He also served as an adjunct professor at Rutgers Law School.
He was born in Newark he had lived in West Long Branch since 1979. He was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch. He was predeceased by his father Louis.
Surviving are his wife Dolores Colannino DeMaria; a son Ronald Anthony DeMaria of Tinton Falls: a daughter Alyssa DeMaria of Davenport, Florida; his mother, Florence Zottoli DeMaria of Brick; and a brother Louis DeMaria of Metuchen.

On February 16, 2004 of Sanford, NC, formerly of Haddon Township and Marlton. Age 88. Beloved husband of Violet Lillie (nee DeCesaris). Loving father of Paul DelPalazzo and his wife Betty of McHenry, IL, Anita Kretchik of Hawley, PA, Loretta DelPalazzo of Betona, Italy and Lucille Zane and her husband David of Moncure, NC. Devoted grandfather of 6 and great grandfather of 7. He was active in the Haddon Township government on Board of Adjustment, Police Auxiliary and pas president W. Collingswood Civic Association. He was also on the Recreation Council and served as Recycling Coordinator in Marlton. He was State Trustee and past president of the Sons of Italy Lodge #2315. Deetz, Wendell
Wendell Deetz, 91, of Clermont, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Born in Philadelphia to the late Ralph and Dorothea (Glaser) Deetz, Sr., he lived here over 20 years after moving from Philadelphia. He was a printer for the Philadelphia Bulletin Newspaper. He was a World War II Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and was an Iwojima survivor.
Mr. Deetz is survived by two step-daughters; three nieces; two nephews; and one cousin.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 12, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Northwood cemetery, North Philadelphia. A viewing will be held on Sunday from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House.
DeGaetani, Marion Sudol
Marion Sudol DeGaetani, 77, of Marmora, NJ, a former resident of Woodbine, NJ, died on Wednesday, May 26, 2004, at the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. She was born at the Margaret Mace Hospital in North Wildwood, NJ to the late Roy and Elizabeth Garrison Cheesman. She was a member of the Church of the Resurrection here and was a former machine operator for Feit Clothing in Woodbine.
She is survived by her son: Stanley L. Sudol, Jr. and his wife, Donna; brother: Roy Cheesman of Belleplain; five grandchildren: Suzette Edmunds, Tonia Brown, Allison Leith, Stanley L. Sudol, III, and Steven V. Sudol; and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral Liturgy will be said on Tuesday, June 1, 2004 at 10:00 AM at Church of the Resurrection, Marmora. Interment will be in St. Casimir's cemetery, Woodbine. A viewing will be held on Monday evening 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Av., Cape May Court House.
Dellapietra, Linda Speranza
Linda M. Speranza Dellapietra, age 93 of West Long Branch died Wednesday, January 28 at home. She was a parishioner of St. Jerome Roman Catholic Church, West Long Branch and a member of the West Long Branch Seniors. Born in New York City, she was a life resident of West Long Branch. She was predeceased by her husband James Dellapietra in 1985, a daughter in law, Mary Dellapietra and a granddaughter, Debra Steinhouser. Surviving is a son, Anthony Dellapietra of Tinton Falls; two daughters and two sons in law, Gloria & Leland Wersinger of Oceanport and Carolyn & Dominick Mazza of Ocean Twp., six grandchildren, Gary Wersinger, Gale Wersinger, Donna Wuest, Lisa Cummings, Lori Babiak and Donna Mazza and seven great grandchildren.

DERITA, RALPH J. SR., on July 1, 2004 of Blackwood, NJ formerly of Juniata Park. Age 73. Beloved husband of Carol (nee Guaglione) for 52 years. Devoted father of Ralph J. Jr. and his wife Deborah, Rose Aloi and her husband Michael and Renee DeLuca and her husband Peter. Loving grandfather of Alexis, Sammy, Adrien, Natalie and Anthony. Dear brother of Rita Wright. Son in law of Rose Guaglione. Also survived by sisters in law Rita DeRita, Joan Mazzo and her husband Anthony, Renee Bernardo and Kathleen Guaglione and many loving nieces and nephews. Prior to retirement, Mr. DeRita was a self employed owner of C & R Caterers in Juniata Park for 40 years. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a former member of the Knights of Columbus and the Sons of Italy. On May 22, 2002 of Haddonfield since 1979, formerly of Cherry Hill. Age 80. Beloved husband of the late Georgina Y. (nee Osborne) Loving father of Barbara J. Yuhaze of Riverside, Anne M. Hare of Marlton Lakes and Lois R. McFadden of Marlton. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandsons.
In 1982 Mr. Dewar founded Dewar Holland Industrial Distributors, involved in sales of Industrial Coatings and Equipment. He retired in 1987. He had formerly worked for East Coast Distributors and Rulon Co.

Patsy DeSarno, age 88 of Eatontown, died Monday, May 10 at St. Barnabas Hospice at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a self employed painter. He was a member of the Oceanport Senior Citizens. Born in Asbury Park he was a life resident of the shore area. Surviving is his wife, Catherine Foggia DeSarno; a brother, Sam DeSarno of Belmar and a sister, Carmella Romano of Staten Island. Diggs, Jr., Alfred Delaney
ALFRED DELANEY DIGGS, JR. age 61, of Pennsauken died Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at Cooper Hospital University Medical Center in Camden. He served his Country honorably in the U.S. Army, from which he retired from this year. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he moved to Pennsauken 20 years ago.
He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Lee Diggs. Surviving is his wife, Sun Tok Lee Diggs; three sons, Alfred Diggs of Pittsburgh, PA, Alex Diggs of Mt. Laurel and Calvin Diggs of Maryland; four daughters, Sidney Diggs of Pittsburgh, Mary Diggs of Texas, Malinda Whitlow of Virginia and Michelle Diggs of Pennsauken; his father, Alfred Diggs, Sr. of Pittsburg, PA; two brothers, Robert Diggs of Indiana and Nelson Diggs of Pittsburgh; a sister, Jackie Wilson of Maine and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Post Chapel at Fort Monmouth, Eatontown on Monday, May 24, from 9-10 am with a funeral service to begin at 10:00 am. Ciro Frank DiGiacomo, an award winning photojournalist in NJ & PA, on December 29, 2003, of Cherry Hill, NJ. Formerly of Marlton, he was born and raised in Bronx, NY. Age 70. Beloved husband of Marlene DiGiacomo (nee Fazio). Dear son of Millie DiGiacomo (nee Garufi). Loving father of Steven of Cherry Hill, NJ & Vincent of Arizona. He is also survived by a sister, Marie Jaconetti and a number loving nieces and nephews. He is also the father of the late Linda DiGiacomo. Frank retired in 2001 from the Newark Star Ledger where he was a Photojournalist since 1977. While employed at the Star Ledger, he was in charge of the Photo Dept. in the State House, Trenton. Prior to that he was employed with the Delaware County Daily Times, Courier Post & the Catholic Star Herald. He has received a number of journalism awards and was voted the NJ Photographer of the Year. While serving in the US ARMY during the Korean War, he was in charge of the Photo Staff. Durso, Anthony J.
Anthony J. Durso age 89, of Long Branch died Monday, February 16, 2004 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was a postal worker for the United States Post Office for 30 years, retiring in 1971. He served his country honorably in the European Theatre on the front lines with the United States Army Medical Corp during WWII. He was a communicant of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Long Branch and a member of the Long Branch Old Guard.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Rosario and Itala Durso. He had lived in Trenton before moving to Long Branch 26 years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Theresa Vinci Durso; a daughter, Teresa Durso, Trenton; two grand daughters, Gina Douglass and Jennifer Livolsi; and 4 great grandchildren. Also surviving are a step son and daughter in law, Angelo and Eleanor Prevete, Florida, and a step daughter and son in law, Jean and Richard Griffith, Kentucky.
