Jessie L. (Simmonini) Dondero, 87 of Florida and formerly of Vineland, died Monday, May 21, 2012, at her late residence. Born in Fairview, New Jersey, she was a Vineland resident for 78 years before moving to Florida. She attended Sacred Heart Schools.
Jessie was a homemaker and raised four sons. She enjoyed needlework, crocheting, cooking and making her own clothes.
She is predeceased by her husband, John S. Dondero, 2 brothers, John and Tony Simmonini, and 2 sisters, Rose Biasi and Jenny Franchetta.
Survived by:
4 sons: James R. Dondero and wife Carol of Centerton, NJ
Joseph G. Dondero and wife Marilyn of Ocoee, Florida
Jerome T. Dondero of Vineland
John C. Dondero and wife Cheryl of New Cumberland, Pa.

A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30am at Christ The Good Shepherd Parish, Sacred Heart Church, Vineland. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart cemetery. Friends will be received on Saturday at the CHURCH from 9:15am to 10:15am. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.

Age: 75
Arlene M. Rehm, 75 of Vineland, died Monday, May 21, 2012 at her late residence after a courageous battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). She was surrounded by her loving family and her cousin, Dawn. Born in Vineland, she was a lifelong area resident.
Arlene is a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Class of 1955. She was employed by Orlandini Tile Company, Richland, for over 18 years as a tile consultant and salesperson. She later worked for the Vineland Public Library for 9 years.
Arlene enjoyed shopping, going to the beach, especially Sea Isle City and playing cards. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She is predeceased by her parents, Albert Orlandini and Ellen (Fiocchi), 1 brother, Albert "Junior" Orlandini.

John (Rita Cascia) Rehm of Vineland
Anthony "Tony" (Gina Ambrose) Rehm of Vineland

A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Friday at 11am at Padre Pio Parish, Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Dante Avenue, Vineland. Burial will be private. Friends will be received on Friday at the CHURCH from 9am to 10:45am. Family requests no flowers, in memory of Arlene Rehm, memorial donations may be made to South Jersey Healthcare Hospicecare, P.O. Box 160 Bridgeton, NJ 08302 or ALS Association, 321 Norristown Rd. Suite 260 Ambler, Pa. 19002. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland.

Manuel Mercado, Jr.

Manuel Mercado, Jr., 89, of Vineland, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2012 at his daughter's home surrounded by his family.
Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, Manuel loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching wrestling, baseball, and working for various farms.
He is predeceased by his wife Hemeregilda (Cuevas) Mercado, and four siblings.
He is survived by six children, Milagros Rodriguez of Vineland, Hilda Mercado, Blanca Mercado, both of Puerto Rico, Manuel "Junior" Mercado and wife Alicia, Jose Mercado, and Walter Mercado and wife Maria all of Vineland, one sister Catalina Mercado of Puerto Rico, one brother Pancho Mercado of Puerto Rico, 21 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 10am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Siloam cemetery. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6-8pm and again Wednesday morning from 9-10am.

James W. Cowan, Jr., 87 of Vineland, died Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Inspira Hospicecare, Inc., Bridgeton. Born in Woodbury, NJ, he moved to Vineland in 1963 from Salem, NJ.
He was a Land Surveyor for the City of Vineland for 30 years and after retirement in 1986, he continued as a self-employed Land Surveyor. James was a veteran of WWII and served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific.
He enjoyed playing golf and telling jokes and stories. James was also an avid reader and a Civil War buff.
He was predeceased by his parents; James W. Cowan, Sr. and Helen (Wicks), brother-in-law; William Greenawalt.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Elaine (Bergamo) Cowan of Vineland

Timothy M. Cowan and wife Susan Parish of Sudbury, Mass.
1 daughter: Helen Cowan Margiotti and husband Dominic of Vineland

Mr. Michael Baribeault

Age: 74
Michael Baribeault, 74, of Vineland, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the Inspira Health Network in Vineland.
Born in Norwich, CT, Michael owned Pat & Ralphs Pizzeria, the Holly City Social Club, and Ollie's Place Resteraunt. He had also worked for Tirell Plumbing, the Vince Pancari law office and most recently Brewster Liquors.
Michael served in the U.S. Army from 1959-1965 and was in the Korean Conflict. He was a past member of the Recreation Club and current member of the Landisville Social Club.
Michael enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, traveling especially to Hilton Head Island, S.C., being with family and watching sports especially his beloved Boston Red Sox.
He is pre-deceased by: his mother Loretta (Valentine), his father Euclid, two brothers, Arthur and Ronald, and a sister, Geraldine (Bean).
Michael is survived by his wife Arleen, son Ric, Step-son Robert DeMarchi Jr.,
Grandchildren, Michelle Sanderson & Kayla McGrory, great grandchildren, Benjamin & Madelyn Peterson, William & Jaxon Sanderson, special nephew and niece, Matt & Amarily Baribeault, sister-in-law, Gertrude Baribeault, and numerous nieces and nephews.
At Michael's request there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312. Arrangements are by DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland, NJ 08361.

Mrs. Virginia Shafer

Virginia "Dina" (Kelly) Shafer, 41 of Millville NJ passed away at home on July 31, 2013.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and a great friend. She was loved by many. She enjoyed being outside, especially in nice weather but most of all she loved being around her family. She had a very big heart and was willing to help any person that needed help. She was a great mother that loved her kids very much.
She is survived by her children; Jessica Simonds, Amber Shafer, Joseph Kelly and Dustin Shafer. Her fiancé; Thomas Taylor of many years; her brothers and sisters; Carol, Johnny, David and his wife Paula, Patricia and her Husband Jose, and her nephews and nieces; Randy and Amanda, Steven, David Jr, Kevin, Albert and Kimmy, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11am at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Laurel Lawn cemetery, Bridgeton. Friends will be received on Thursday morning from 9am to 11am at the funeral home.

Mr. Peter J. Meandro

Peter J. Meandro, 68, of Vineland, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013 at the Inspira Health Network, Vineland.
Born in and a lifelong resident of Vineland, Peter attended the Vineland Public Schools and later graduated from Salem Tech in 1964.
He was the owner and operator of Tech Glass from 1964 to 2009. Peter enjoyed restoring cars, gardening, going to the beach in Ocean City, woodworking, and welding. He was Mr. Fix-it and could repair anything.
He is predeceased by his father Peter Meandro, and brother-in-law Carmen Bischer.
Peter is survived by his wife of 48 years, MaryLynn (Haaf) Meandro, two sons, Martin J. Meandro, and Matthew Meandro both of Vineland, his mother, Elizabeth (Lofgren) Meandro, Brother-in-law, Allen Haaf and wife Robin, two sister-in-laws, Kathleen Bischer, and Patty Wolf and husband Bob.
Family and Friends will be received on Thursday evening from 6pm to 9pm at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a Charity of One's Choice.

Rosemarie Wheeler

Age: 72
Rosemarie "Skeeter" Wheeler, 72, of Vineland, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at home surrounded by her family.
Born in Vineland, she had worked as a cashier for Penn Fruit-Dales, Shopping Bag, and Wawa. Skeeter enjoyed going to the beach, crabbing, and was an avid Elvis fan. She loved spending time with her family and pets especially her cat "Gatto," traveling down south, and flowers.
Skeeter is predeceased by her parents Frank and Rose (Girard) Pearson, and father-in-law Elmer Wheeler.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jon Wheeler, two sons, Scott (Donna) Wheeler, and Brian (Doris) Wheeler, four grandchildren, Stephanie, Christopher, Brian Jr., and Joseph (PFC/USMC), mother-in-law, Ida Wheeler of Colorado, Brother-in-laws, Elmer J. Wheeler of South Dakota, and David Wheeler of Colorado, close friend Nick (Carmel), best friend, Helen, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville. Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday from 6pm-8pm and again on Wednesday morning from 10am-11am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or to Inspira HomeCare & HospiceCare, Inc., P.O. Box 160, Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
