MILLWARD, FRANK C., 90 - of Palermo, died Sunday, May 1, 2005.
Born in Orange, he had lived in Trumbill, CT before moving to Palermo 30 years ago.
He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Army where he received the Distinguished Service Medal, the Normandy Medal, the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.
Mr. Millward worked as a credit analyst for Great Northern Paper Company (now Georgia Pacific) for 30 years before his retirement in 1975.
He was a 25 year member of Essex Lodge #7, F. & A. M., West Essex.
Surviving are his daughter, Linda Kissling and her husband Donald of Palermo; two grandchildren, Donald Kissling of Cape May, David Kissling of Honolulu, HI; a brother, George Millward of Toms River; and two nephews, Glen Newell of Branford, CT, Alan Newell of Somerset.
His funeral service and interment will be private at the convenience of his family.
The family suggests those who desire send memorial contributions to the charity of ones choice.

SHAUD, JULIETTE, 80 - of Egg Harbor Township, died Saturday, April 30, 2005 at Shore Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness.
Born in Mays Landing, Juliette was a lifelong Atlantic County resident.
She was employed by Kerr Glass Co. for 25 years and was a member of A.A.R.P. She enjoyed the shore and swimming and was a loving and caring mother and grandmother.
She is predeceased by her husband, Ives Shaud.
Survived by two sons, Ives Shaud, Jr. & wife Molly of Millville, and David Shaud of Millville; three daughters, Joanne Hunt & husband Edward of Richland, Marie Petrosh of Egg Harbor Township (with whom she resided), and Madeline Andrews of Mays Landing; 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 1019 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Oak Hill cemetery, Vineland. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 2550 Route 1 N. Brunswick, NJ 08902.

APPLETON, JUDY LEA, 47 - of Northfield, died April 30 at Linwood Care Center after an amazing ten year battle with metastatic breast cancer.
Born in New Brunswick to Dean and Ida Tomer, Judy grew up in Spotswood and Toms River. In addition to being a loving mother, grandmother, and devoted wife, she had worked as a medical assistant and receptionist. A huge Elvis fan, she also enjoyed old movies, Patrick Swayze, Rod Stewart and Barry Manilow. She was a 30 year member and district leader in the local SGI-USA Buddhist lay organization and was a recipient of SGA-USA's Justice Award.
Judy is survived by her husband Warren, daughter Ellen, son Edmund Aldridge, and stepsons, Justin and Matthew Appleton; and grandchildren, Carolyn Appleton and Brandon Appleton. She also has a sister, Patricia Tomer as well as brothers, Bill Tomer, Clifford Bruner and Gary Bruner.
A memorial service and light luncheon celebrating Judy's life will be held on Saturday, May 7 at the SGI-USA South Jersey Activity Center, 509B Black Horse Pike, Turnersville, New Jersey from 11 a.m. until approximately 1 p.m.

RENZETTI, NICHOLAS J. "NICKY BEAR" 57 - of Ventnor, died suddenly on Saturday, May 21, 2005.
Nick was born and raised in Philadelphia and resided in this area the past 24 years. He was a Casino Supervisor for the Trump Marina Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City and he had previously worked for the Resorts Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City. He had served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He had been an avid athlete in his younger years.
Predeceased by his parents Rocco and Carmela Renzetti and a brother Rocco Renzetti. He is survived by his wife Diane R. (DiCianno) Renzetti; three daughters, April Renzetti of Washington Twp., Dana Renzetti and Nikki Merlino and her husband Marc both of Ventnor; a brother, Joseph Renzetti and his wife Kathleen of Philadelphia: his mother-in-law Mary Ann DiCianno; a sister-in-law, Donna Renzetti of Philadelphia: three grandchildren, Linda Ann Hanford, Rachel Carmela Roda and Baby Merlino.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 11:00 am at Saint James R.C. Church, 6415 Atlantic Avenue, Ventnor. Friends may call Tuesday from 7 to 9 PM at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, and Wednesday from 9:00AM to 11:00 AM at the church. Entombment will be Holy Cross cemetery, Mays Landing.

JONES, CHARLES W., 72 - of Tuckahoe, on June 4, 2005. Beloved husband of Anna Jones (nee Terry) "LaVerne". Mr. Jones was a graduate of Archmere Academy in Claymont, DE. Besides his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Mary Linda Wasiuta (George); one grandson, George J. Wasiuta; one granddaughter, Natasha Wasiuta and two great-grandsons: Michael Bittle and Jay Jay Westerfer, Jr. He was preceded in death by three sons, John W., Charles W., Jr. and Joseph Jones.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8 in St. Francis Xavier Church the Oratory, 24th & Green Sts. Philadelphia. Interment Holy Sepulchre cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning from 8:45 a.m. until 10 a.m.

TERRELL, JAMES 75 - of Atlantic City, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2005, in the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus. James, or "Jimmy", as he was affectionately known, was born in Carrollton, GA, on June 2, 1930. He served in the US Army in Germany, from March 1951 until March 1953.
James married Ida Crowder in June 1954 and moved to Atlantic City. He was last employed by 9600 Condominiums in Margate, as a security guard until he retired in June 2000.
James was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ida, and his daughter, Lisa Terrell.
He leaves to cherish his great, funny and fond memories; two daughters, Sheila Mitchell of Pleasantville, and Sherrie Terrell-DuPree of Absecon; a son, James Terrell of Pleasantville; two sons-in-law, Mark Mitchell and Mark DuPree; five grandchildren, three special grands, Dayion Terrell, of Pleasantville, Jawain Terrell and Sherrie Terrell, both of Atlantic City; nine great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends in Atlantic City, Pleasantville, Atlanta and Carrollton, GA.
Services will be held 11am Saturday, June 25, 2005, at Second Baptist Church, 110 Rev. Dr. I.S. Cole Plaza, Atlantic City. Relatives and friends may express their farewells from 9am until 11am at the church. Burial will follow in the Atlantic County Veterans cemetery, Estell Manor. Arrangements entrusted to Greenidge Funeral Home.

JONES, LOUISE K. 104 - of Atlantic City, died at home on Saturday, June 25, 2005.
She was born in Savannah, Georgia on March 13. 1901, and was raised in Augusta, Georgia. For over 80 years, Atlantic City, has been her home.
Mrs. Jones was married to Randolph Jones, now deceased. She was the mother of two sons, Randolph and Reginald Jones, now deceased; and one daughter, Bernice Rodgers. She was a hotel employee for many years and also worked with private families. Upon her retirement, she became active with the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program. She looked forward to visiting the sick and shut-in. She was the current Chaplain of the Tenants' Council at Jeffries Towers.
Mrs. Jones was an active member of Community Baptist Church. She loved her church and its membership. She had served with the Missionaries at Community Baptist and with the Helping Hand Club. Mrs. Jones loved the Elks and was a member of Ocean Temple #3; Past Daughter Rulers Council #4; and the Drill Patrol She was given the title of Mother of All Antler Guards throughout the world. She was the President of the Tam Club; a member of the Tents Organization; Past President of the Community Grandmothers and Grandfathers Society. She had become .a Past Granddaughter Ruler and was a member of the Past Granddaughter Rulers Council of the Grand Lodge until her death. Prior to her death, she had gained the rank of Four Star General.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter. Bernice C. Rodgers of Atlantic City; a devoted daughter-in-law, Frances T. Jones of Atlantic City; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Harrison of Sea Cliff, NY; her three grandsons, Joseph L. Herbert (Raelyn) of Severn. MD, Carl V. Rodgers of Mays Landing and Charles E. Rodgers (Toni) of Vineland; her two granddaughters, Trinna L: Rodgers of Atlantic City and Elaine Jones of Stone Mountain. GA. Her grandson, Charles R. Jones (Deborah) predeceased her. Mrs. Jones leaves behind ten great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter; as well as, nieces, nephews and cousins who will remember her fondly. Funeral Services will be held 10:30am Thursday, June 30, 2005 in Community Baptist Church, 234 North New Jersey Avenue, Atlantic City, where viewing will be from 9am until 10:am. Fraternal Rites will be held from 10am until 10:30am. Burial in Atlantic City cemetery, Pleasantville. Arrangements entrusted to Greenidge Funeral Home.

PENNOCK, HOWARD DALE JR., 15 - of Pleasantville, was born in Atlantic City on April 11, 1990 to Howard Pennock and the late Cynthia Weston. He entered life eternal on July 6, 2005.
Howard lived in Pleasantville, attending the Washington Avenue School, Academy of Excellence and Pleasantville High School. Dale loved playing different sports with his brother and friends. He was well known throughout his neighborhood. Church was an important part of his life. Dale was a member of Community Baptist Church and became a junior deacon. He later joined Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
He leaves to mourn: his loving father, Howard Pennock, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Alice Pennock; maternal grandmother, Betty Weston, all of Pleasantville; grandfather, Ernest Weston of Miami, FL; sister, Danielle Weston; brother, Owen Weston, of Pleasantville; aunts, Delores Crewe of Washington, DC, Sandra Hill of Glen Burnie, MD, and Terrie Weston Pickens; great aunts Marvis Jett Chipley of FL, and Virginia Hillary of Pleasantville; uncles, Raymond Peters of Pleasantville and Carl Pickens of FL; and a host of cousins and other relatives and friends in FL, Tacoma, WA, MD, and Pleasantville.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2005, in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 353 South New Road, Pleasantville, where friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of services. Final viewing will be held prior to 11.a.m. Burial will be in Atlantic City cemetery, Pleasantville. Arrangements entrusted to Greenidge Funeral Home.

BROWN, JAMES JAY, 54 - of Little Egg Harbor, died on July 15, 2005 at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Division. Raised in Villas, he attended St. Raymond's School and graduated from Lower Cape May Regional High School in 1969. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1969 to 1973. He was a member of the Marine Aviation Detachment Drill Team while enlisted. He was trained as a jet aircraft mechanic and served in Vietnam. Jay maintained the "Semper Fi" spirit throughout his life. Formerly of Davie, FL, he worked with the former Eastern Airlines in Miami, FL and several other airline companies for 25 years as an airframe and power plant mechanic. Most recently, he was employed at Viking Yacht Co. in New Gretna as an electrician. He was a member of the American Legion, Post 0493, Mystic Island and the Mystic Island Co-Operative Association. Jay enjoyed woodworking and made many pieces of furniture for family members. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his loving family: mother, Ann H. Brown of Cape May Court House; one sister, Mary (Edward) Sokorai of Cape May Court House; five brothers, Raymond (Bettyann) of North Cape May, David of Brant Beach, Lawrence (Ina) of Cape May, Gerald (Jane) of Virginia Beach, VA, and John (Kathleen) of Philadelphia, PA, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Raymond and a sister, Ann Reichner. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday 11a.m. at St. Raymond's Church, Bayshore & Ocean Ave., Villas, where friends may call from 9:30-11a.m. Burial is private. McCANN, CHARLES A. 88 - of Sea Isle City, formerly of Glenside, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 30, 2005.
Born in North Philadelphia, PA (Swamp Poodle section, St. Columbus Parish) in 1917, he began vacationing with his family in Sea Isle City in 1951 and became a permanent resident in 1970.
McCann was a World War II veteran in which he served in the United States Coast Guard for four years. He was a lifeguard at Crystal Pool in Philadelphia and was part of the well known balancing act of "Charles & James" performing at shows and fairs in the Philadelphia area in the 1930's. McCann, a professional baseball player in his youth, was a member of the Philadelphia Athletics, under the management of Connie Mack.
Prior to entering WWII, he started his own milk and dairy business in North Philadelphia and afterwards, embarked on a new career as a real estate broker, opening his own office in Glenside, PA. McCann relocated his real estate business, Charles A. McCann & Sons to Sea Isle City after moving there permanently in 1970. He was also the loan officer for Sea isle City.
In the real estate business for 66 years, McCann was Cape May County's Realtor of the Year in 1988 and recipient of the Good Neighbor Realtor Award in 2003. He was well know for his clothing drive which he conducted for 27 years, as well as for the Retreat for the Blind- a mission he participated in for many years.
Chuck McCann, a Malvern Retreat leader for over 70 years, founded the immaculate Conception weekend retreat and the midweek Handicapped Retreat at St. Joseph's in the Hills Retreat House in Malvern, PA.
McCann was a civic leader, serving two terms as the Fourth Degree Grand Knight of the Sea Isle City Knights of Columbus and President of both the Sea Isle City Rotary and Sea Isle City Chamber of Commerce.
A lifelong avid swimmer, McCann participated in the Miss America Pageant Swim 27 times and the Harry Yates Bay Swim in which he earned the sportsmanship award in 1985. He completed his last competitive swim at age 82.
McCann was predeceased by his mother, Anna (O'Connell) McCann, his father, John McCann, his sister, Mary (McCann) DeSantis and his brothers, John and Frank McCann. McCann was also predeceased by his wife, Mary Ellen (Brennan) McCann, his son Charles, four infant children, and his granddaughter, Mary Theresa Sher.
Chuck McCann, a father of 16 children, is survived by his daughter and their spouses; Mary Ellen Pierce of Ocean City, Ann Marie and Dennis Sher of Margate, Angel and Stephen French of Ocean View, Regina and Keith Larsen of Sea Isle City, Gloria and Craig Larsen of Sea Isle City, Ave and Richard Guerrieri of Ventnor, and Mary Grace and Larry Curran of Strathmere. He is also survived by his sons and their spouses: Joseph D. McCann and Dr. Annamarie Young McCann, of Sea Isle City, Dr. Thomas and Geralynn McCann, of Vineland, John and Kathy McCann of Ocean City, and Christopher and Kate McCann of Drexel Hill, PA. He had 48 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
A Funeral. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 6, at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph's Church in Sea Isle City. Friends will be received at the church on Tuesday evening from 6 until 9PM with a rosary recitation at 7:00 PM and from 9:30 until 10:30 AM Wednesday. Interment at Holy Sepulchre cemetery in Cheltenham, PA under the direction of William R. May Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sea Isle City Ambulance Corp, JFK Boulevard, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243.
