ACKERMAN, STACEY-LYNN P., 30 - of Dividing Creek died Sunday suddenly at home. Stacey-Lynn was born in Somerset, she was the daughter of Arthur Ackerman and the late Waneta E. Swain Ackerman. She resided in Dividing Creek the past 27 years. She attended the Fairfield Adult Day Care and Fairton Christian Center. She enjoyed music and watching TV.
Surviving besides her father are a sister, Crystal; brothers, Gregory and Paul.
A viewing will be held at Hoffman Funeral Homes, 2507 High St., Port Norris on Wednesday, February 23, 2005 from 1:30 to 2:15 followed by a Graveside service in Haleyville cemetery at 2:30.

GILLIS, BENJAMIN STEVEN 61 - of Palm Coast, FL, on March 2, 2005, formerly of Egg Harbor Twp. Beloved husband of Betty (nee McGhee). Devoted step-father of Diane Conover and the late Theresa Grasmick. Loving grandfather of Danielle & Rex Rambo and great grandfather of Kylie & Kayla Rambo. Also survived by dear stepson-in-law Rick Grasmick. Mr. Gillis was a Laborer with Local #415 out of Atlantic City. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose in Palm Coast, FL and enjoyed fishing and golfing. Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing from 8:30 to 10am Friday morning at Gardner Funeral Home, Runnemede, 126 S. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede. Funeral Service 10am at the funeral home. Interment Atlantic County Veteran's cemetery, Mays Landing, NJ.

FRAGNITO, MARY (D'Amico), 95 - of Vineland, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2005 at Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9 to 10 am at the Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held Wednesday at 10:30 AM from the Sacred Heart Church, 1010 East Landis Avenue, Vineland.
Interment will follow in Sacred Heart cemetery, Vineland.

GILLINGHAM, GEORGE HAYWARD, "Gil", 88 - of Pleasantville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 5, 2005 with his daughters by his side. He was born in Atlantic City and resided in Pleasantville for 52 years before moving to McKee City in 1997. He worked for Park National Furniture in Atlantic City and Art Handlers in Pleasantville for 55 years as a warehouse foreman. He served his Country honorably during World War II in the U.S. Army as a Master Sergeant. George was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. His family was his life. He was an active member and usher at St. Peters Church in Pleasantville for over 55 years and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed golfing and can boast of two holes-in-one in his lifetime. He also enjoyed carpentry, upholstering, gardening, and wall paper hanging. George is predeceased by his wife of 59 years, Janice A. (Duckro) Gillingham, who passed away on August 11, 2004. He is survived by his children, Janice Delareto (husband, Rocky) of Galloway, Donna Amoroso (husband, Philip) of Mays Landing, Georgann Prozzillo (husband, Nicholas) of Brigantine, and Nancy Douress (husband, Thomas) of Galloway; his grandchildren, Jayson Amoroso (wife, Tammie), Jennifer Gould, Christine Amoroso, Rocco Delareto, Jr., Alisha Amoroso, Dana Douress, and Juliann Douress. Also surviving are six great-grandchildren, friends, and his caregivers at the Health Center at Galloway. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at St. Peter's RC Church, 25 W. Verona Ave., Pleasantville, where his viewing will begin at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross cemetery.

DEAN, WATSON K., 93 - of Millville, died on Saturday at home. Born in Salem, VA, he grew up in Vineland and lived in Millville for over 42 years. Mr. Dean started with Kimble Glass in the engineering department until 1957, then worked for Wheaton Glass Co as an industrial engineer and plant manager, retiring in 1980. Mr. Dean was also active in the American Institute of Industrial Engineers, serving as South Jersey's first president. He was a ember of the Vineland Committee of 50, the Masonic Lodge of Vineland and the Masonic Blue Lodge for over 60 years. Mr. Dean was a long time member and past president of the Millville Old Timers Club. He was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where he served on the congregational council for several years. He wrote and published the history of St. Paul's Church, entitled, A Journey in Faith. He was an accomplished wood worker and restorer of antiques. Mr. Dean was well regarded as a carver, working with Holly. He is survived by his loving wife, Rita, two daughters; Barbara Ray and Susan Feder and husband, Steven of Vineland; stepson; Robert H. Kandle and wife Peggy of Elverton, PA., two step grandsons; Robert C. Kandle of Collegeville, PA. and Dean E. Kandle of Morristown, one step great granddaughter Macy Kandle and several nieces and nephews. He will be missed by his loving family and close friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am in St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 6-8 pm in the Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home and Wednesday morning from 10:30 am in the church. There will be a Masonic service at 5:45 pm in the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 3rd and Mulberry Sts., Millville, NJ 08332.

EILENBERG, MARGARET ANN 57 - of Millville, died on Sunday at home after an extended illness. born in Woodbine, she was a life long Millville resident. Mrs. Eilenberg was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. Muff enjoyed crabbing and fishing, playing bingo, crocheting and going to yard sales. One of her greatest joys was attending her grandson's baseball games. She is survived by son, Jesse; three step daughters; three brothers Butch McCormick of Malage, Wayne and Anthony Jeannette; sister, Dorothy Rizzo all of Millville; two grandsons, Devin and Jesse and eight step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Also, close friends Michael Errickson and Henry Reeves. She was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence, mother and father: Anthony and Phyllis, sister Brenda and step son, Lawrence, Jr.
Services will be held on Thursday at 11 am in the Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home, where friends may call from 10 am. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park. COLLINS, CAROLINE P., 75 - of Millville, died on Sunday unexpectedly at the SJ Healthcare Regional Medical Center. Born in Millville, she was a life long resident. Mrs. Collins was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John Bosco RCC. Mrs. Collins was an avid bridge player and participated in a bridge club. She loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends.
She is survived by a son, Robert J. and wife Tracy of Millville; sister, Sondra Feltes, of Millville and three grandchildren, Carolann, Laura and Robert. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert H.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 3 p.m. in the Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home, where friends may call from 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Holy Cross cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.

CORNETT, SR. ARNOLD C. 70 - of Lake Worth, FL, formally of Wildwood, died on Monday, January 10, 2005, at JFK Medical Center He was born in Philadelphia, Pa; He was a retired Plumber, Former member of the Wildwood Volunteer Fire Dept, West Wildwood Volunteer Fire Dept and Loyal Order of Moose, North Wildwood. He is survived by his wife Marion of 49 yrs, two Son's: Joseph of Palm Bay, Fl; Arnold Jr (LauraLee) of Lake Worth, Fl and daughter JoHannah Boots (Robert E.) of Lake Worth, Fl; 9 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. Two Brother's Charles of West Palm Bch, Fl, Leonard of Rio Grande and a Sister Anna Maria of Cape May Court House, Brother in-law William H Smith (Elsie) of Wildwood Crest and two nieces of Erma and one niece & one nephew of Pennsylvania.

DAY, ELIZABETH JEANETTE (Betty), (nee Burns), 78 - of Galloway, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on March 6, 2005. She was born on August 10, 1926 in Ellwood City, PA. Betty was a Past matron, Past Grand Officer and Past Worthy District Deputy of Friendship Chapter #173 Order of the Eastern Star of New Jersey and she retired from Lenox China. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, James H. Day Sr. of Galloway; loving mother to four daughters and one son: Janet Cook (husband, Daniel) of Duck Hill, MS.; Judith Nagle (husband, Jack) of Marlton; Luella Malley (husband, Anthony) of Galloway; James H. SAGO, MARY, 91 - of Somers Point, died Monday in the Ocean Point Health Care Center, Somers Point. Mrs. Sago was born in Charleston, WV. She worked in many hospitals and nursing homes as a housekeeper. Mary also worked in private homes as a housekeeper. She was predeceased by her husband Ivory Sago. She is survived by her longtime friend and caretaker Mary Ellen Frederikson. Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 a.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St., Hammonton, where relatives and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Egg Harbor City cemetery.

HOFFMAN, DENNIS L, 53 - of Egg Harbor Township, died Tuesday, March 1st as a result of a traffic accident in Pomona. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and has resided in this area for most of his life. He had planned to move to Mississippi in the near future. He worked as a Bus Mechanic for Academy Bus Co. in Pomona at the time of his death. He is survived by his sisters Gertrude Sampson and Dottie Spinella and his brothers Jimmy Hoffman and Arthur Bomhard, Jr. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 9th at 4:00 pm at the Academy Bus Company, 404 Aloe St., Pomona. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parcels Funeral Home, Absecon.

BOSELLI, THOMAS SALVATORE 81 - of Galloway, died Sunday, March 6th at his home. He was born in Atlantic City and was a lifelong area resident. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving on the DE 10 in WW 2. He worked at Peblers Fish Dock and owned and operated Boselli Seafood in Atlantic City, he also worked at Boardwalk Hall and retired from Lenox China in Pomona after 20 years. He is survived by his wife Regina R. Boselli, his son Thomas S. and daughter and her husband Sharon and James Malick and two grandsons, James A. and Jordan T. and his sister Eleanor Harney of Indianapolis, IN and many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday March 11th at 10:00 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Absecon with burial to follow in Holy Cross cemetery in Mays Landing. Friends may visit on Friday from 9 AM until the time of the Mass at the Church. Donations in his memory may be made in the Galloway V.F.W. Post 10620. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Parsels Funeral Home, Absecon.

BRANSKY, JOSEPH, - of Egg Harbor, March 6, 2005. Husband of the late Frances (nee Fisherman); good friend of Betty Shearn; father of Elaine (Joseph) Beckman, Linda (Neal) Hirshburg and Miles (Kathleen) Bransky; grandfather of Jason (Elisa), Marla (John), Robyn, Gwen and Elizabeth; great grandfather of Madison, Brandon, Samantha and Morgan. MCMANUS, CATHERINE R., (NEE CRAMSIE) 92 - of North Wildwood passed away on Sunday, March 6, 2005, at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, Pa. where she started working at a very young age. One of the jobs she enjoyed was at Schraff's on Chestnut Street and during WWII she made bazookas at Budd's Defense Plant and always joked about being "Rosie the Riveter".
Catherine and her family moved to Wildwood in 1951. She owned and operated Kay's Kottage for 35 years and many of her guests became lifelong friends. She was a cancer survivor, a former member of Deborah and longtime member of St. Ann's Parish.
She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Kathleen Scully and her husband Robert of North Wildwood and their children, Robert Jr. and wife Cynthia of Seaville, Kathleen McEntee and husband Francis of Boca Raton, FL, Loreen Flynn and husband James of North Wildwood, and Linda Ritchie and husband Allyn of Alpharetta, GA. Also 13 great grandchildren she was so proud of and dearly loved.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 am Friday with viewing from 10 am at the St. Ann's Church, 2900 Atlantic Ave., Wildwood. Burial in St. Elizabeth's cemetery, Goshen.

BALIC, ANN V., 77 - of Marmora, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2005 at her home.
Born in upstate Pennsylvania, she had lived in Ocean City before moving to Marmora in 1972.
Mrs. Balic owned and operated along with her husband Savo, The Spruce Lodge on 14th Street and Ocean Avenue in Ocean City from 1960 to 1972.
Surviving are her husband, Savo Balic of Marmora; a son, Larry Balic and his wife Rose of Seaville; two daughters, Darlene Creager and her husband Mike of Ocean City, Deborah Patterson and her husband Joe of Greenfield; nine grandchildren and a sister, Helen Fobes of Honesdale, PA.
Her Funeral Service will be offered Wednesday morning at 11o'clock from the Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo where friends may call from ten o'clock until the time of service. Burial will follow in Seaside cemetery, Palermo.

HANNAH, HOWARD TIMOTHY, 50 - of Fruitland, MD, formerly of Pleasantville, went home to be with our Lord on March 4th 2005 after a tragic accident on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge in Va. where his Pepsi truck plunged into the bay. "Timmy" as the family and friends lovingly called him attended the Pleasantville public schools. As a young man his love for football began with the Mighty Might's, and later Quarterback for Pleasantville Greyhounds Football Team. After high school Timmy enlisted in the Marine Corps at Paris Island. He was named Honor Man of his respective Platoon and received the Marine Dress Blue Award. He also was the recipient of the Platoon's "Leather Neck" award. He qualified as an expert Rifleman amassed 230 points on his final physical fitness test, and came within two points of achieving an overall perfect score. After the Marine Corps, Timmy came back to New Jersey where he was employed with Suburban Paving Company, supervised under his father for many years, Atlantic City Race Track, Ricci Trucking, Adventure Trails and Sterling Coach Lines. His true love was coaching many young men, The Pleasantville Junior Jokers in the mid 70's where the team went undefeated. Timmy then moved to Salisbury, Md, where he met and married Charlene Harmon, and made Fruitland, Md his final home. During his eighteen year residency, he was employed by Magnolia, Darling Inc. and finally Pepsi Cola. He was a member of the Refreshing Fountain Ministry where his love for the Lord was number one in his life. "A True God Fearing Man" he leaves to cherish his fond memories, his wife Charlene, daughter LaVerne (Paul) Watson of St. Petersburg Fla; four sons, Timothy and Kevin Hannah of Bermuda, Teyon Harman and Darryl Jones of MD; father, William Hannah; a brother, Walter Donnell Hannah; five sisters, Linda and Brenda Hannah, Ruth Annette (Theodore) Thomas, DeAnna (Adrian) Mobley, all of Pleasantville, Marva Williams of Sicklerville; and five beautiful granddaughters; two best friends, Warren Priestly and Chris Davis; and a host of many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and many friends.
The Funeral will be held Saturday, March 12th, at the Asbury Church in Fruitland, Md at 12pm. Viewing 2 hours prior to. If anyone would like to follow the family, we will be leaving between 6am and 7am Saturday the12th, please call 289-5813. We will also visit the Chesapeake Bay Bridge for a brief Memorial Service.
