ABRUSCATO, AMELIA (Marone), 88 - of Vineland, passed away December 26, 2004 at Bishop McCarthy Residence in Vineland. She was born in Pueblo, CO, moved to Hammonton as a young girl then moved to Vineland where she resided for over 70 years. Amelia was a homemaker and was very devoted to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Vineland.
She is survived by: son, Frank Abruscato, Vineland, son & daughter-in-law, Angelo & Lois Abruscato, Vineland; two daughters, Betty Rambone, Newfield & Marie Denz, Magnolia; two brothers, John "Dan" Marone and Joseph Marone, both of Hammonton; two sisters, Elizabeth Marone and Helen Sacco, both of Hammonton; ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Angelo Abruscato in 1976; also by two brothers and three sisters.
A Church Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 pm at Sacred Heart Church 1010 E. Landis Avenue, Vineland, followed by a Funeral Liturgy at 1:30 PM. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart cemetery, Vineland.

BRADY, JOAN M., 73 - of Calabash, NC, died Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at Brunswick Community Hospital.
She was born on July 3, 1931 in Philadelphia, PA, a daughter of the late Hugh and Alice Wesley Maguire.
Joan is survived by two sons, Michael Brady of Brick, Dennis Brady and his wife, Joan of Longs; three daughters, Mary Ann B. Rice and her husband Kenny of Hartsville, SC, Susan Fresconi and her husband Jay of Wilmington, DE, Kristin Yonko and her husband Peter of Newark, DE; a sister, Kathleen Engel of Dresher, PA; three grandchildren, Katie Rath and Sean and Molly Brady.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, December 31, 2004 at St. Thomas the Apostle, 4th Street and Bancroft Parkway, Wilmington, DE.

SKINNER, JR., ATA MARZUG, - of Manahawkin, five week old son of Ata Marzug Skinner, Sr. and Leanne Dempsey passed away on Dec. 18th in Phila., PA. He was born November 11, 2004 at Thos. Jefferson University Medical Center in Phila., PA and died suddenly at home. Surviving besides his parents are his paternal grandparents, Blondzell Skinner and George Blakely; maternal grandparents, Cindy Lou Dempsey and Edward James Dempsey; paternal great grandmother, Lucille Blakley, maternal great grandparents, Robert Donald Lamson and Theresa Dempsey; his sisters, Atatiana, Jasmyne, Leah and Ciarra; his aunts, Carie Leigh Dempsey and Gina M. Dempsey-Rae; his uncle, Brian Dempsey; and predeceased by his brother Nasir. Services will be held Thursday, Dec. 30th at 2 PM at Maxwell Funeral Home, 578 Mill Creek Rd., Manahawkin where visitation will begin at 1 PM. Cremation will be private.
MOORE, TONI DeFRANCO, 49 - of Ocean City, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2004. Born on October 27, 1955 in Paterson, Toni was a resident of Galloway Township during her childhood and, more recently, lived in Ocean City. She attended Oakcrest High School and worked in the family business, The Split Rail Tavern, for many of her adult years. Toni also attended floral school and worked in that field as well. Toni is survived by her son, George Taylor; her parents, Emily and Anthony DeFranco; and her sisters, Theresa and Tammy DeFranco. Toni will be dearly missed by all. MAIONE, RALPH, 65 - of Weekstown, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2004 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. He was born in Amantea, ltaly, and was a resident of Weekstown since 1971. Before retiring Mr. Maione was employed by the Golden Nugget Casino and Resorts International Casino Hotel both in Atlantic City. He was predeceased by his brother; Giovanni Maione, and his sister; Rose Caruso. He is survived by his wife: Ida Maione of Weekstown; two daughters: Alicia Porco and her husband, Tony of Hammonton, Franca Jackson and her husband; Jamie of Oklahoma; two sons: Fernando Maione and his wife, Karen from Mays Landing, and Frank Maione of Weekstown; one brother: Frank Maione of Weekstown; and one step-grandson: Mario Porco. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in- law, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his doggie grand kids: Phluffy White, Domino, Baby Zeus and Roxy. Viewing will be held Wednesday 9:30-11:30 AM at St. Martin DePorres R.C. Church, S. Egg Harbor Road and Park Avenue in Hammonton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:30 AM. COLE, ESTELLE W., 97 - of Wildwood, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2004 at Victoria Manor Nursing Home in North Cape May.
She was born on September 8, 1907, in Wildwood, and was a lifelong resident. She was predeceased by her parents, F. William Cole, Sr. and Edith Cole, her brothers, F. William Cole, Jr. and Leslie C. Cole, and her nephew, Neil Cole Feeney.
Miss Cole was a graduate of Wildwood High School and Trenton State College. She taught for over 40 years at the Glenwood Avenue School in Wildwood before her retirement in the early 1970's. She is fondly remembered by many of her former students whose hearts and lives she touched over the years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wildwood, the Wildwood Civic Club, and NJ Retired Educators Assoc.
Survivors include her sister, Grace C. Feeney; her nephew, F. William Cole, III; her nieces, Joan Cole McLaughlin and Paula Cole Bell; five great nieces and nephews and four great-great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 18, 2005, at The First Baptist Church of Wildwood, located at Maple and Atlantic Avenues. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Miss Cole's memory to the Memorial Fund of the First Baptist Church.

WRIGHT, DRENA MAE, 92 - of Mays Landing, formerly of Northfield and Pleasantville, was called home to the Lord on December 26, 2004 after spending Christmas with her entire family. She was a loving mother and homemaker who devoted her life to her daughter and her two grandchildren who she helped raise. She also enjoyed walking around Henry Drive, baking with her granddaughter, (who claims she made the best minute steak and macaroni and cheese.) She also enjoyed watching wrestling with her grandson and spending quality time with her daughter at various family events. She also enjoyed visiting casinos with a few close friends. She was also a member of Pleasantville Presbyterian Church where she was an active member of their Woman Group for many years.
She was predeceased by her parents Ray and Florence Keller and her husband Douglas, a daughter Linda, a sister Hazel Mitchell, and brother Allen Keller. She is survived by a daughter Susan with whom she resided, two grandchildren Tracey Cooney and her husband Bill and Christian Monroe and his wife Allison. She also leaves six great grandchildren who she was blessed to spend time with during her last few years of her life; Evan, Juliana, Kaylee, Rachel, Samuel Cooney, and Margaret Monroe; loving niece and nephew Lawrence and Joan Couch and her faithful dog Jeb.
Funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. Friends may call Thursday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Laurel Memorial Park, Pomona. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pleasantville Presbyterian Church, 1311 South Main St. Pleasantville. NJ 08232.
GALASSO, CANDIDA, (nee Feola) 86 - of Sea Isle City, died early Monday morning at her home. Born in Pittsburgh, PA she was the daughter of the late Francesco and Caterina Lucia (Bosso) Feola.
A longtime resident of New York, she was a member of the International Union of Garment Workers as a seamstress for 41 years, of which the last 21 years before her retirement, the KiKi Heart Company of New York employed her.
A resident of Sea Isle City for the past 26 years, Candida was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church, as well as a longtime member of the Society of St. Silverio in New York. In addition to her love of sewing, she also enjoyed cooking for everyone.
She is survived by one daughter, Josephine Conte, of Sea Isle City, one son Vito Galasso of Bronx, NY, two sisters, Anna Feola and Virginia Morle of Sea Isle City, five grandchildren; Vincent, Louis, Steven, Brian and Jeanine. Six great grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher, Louis, Anthony, Andrew and Ethan also survive her.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 8:00 pm, St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 44th and Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, where the family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm. GROOME, BRENDA J., 48 - of Vineland, passed away early on Monday morning at Jefferson University Medical Center after an extended illness. Brenda was born in Vineland and was a lifelong resident. She was the daughter of the late Robert Groome who died in 1977. She was also pre-deceased by her grandparents, James & Rachel Groome & Frank & Angelina Arrigo.
Before retiring due to poor health, Brenda was employed in the Human Resources Dept. of Scott Paper Co. in Buena. She was a graduate of the Vineland High School Class of 1974. After High School she was employed in the Cumberland County Surrogates Office. Brenda enjoyed vacationing in Sea Isle City.
She is survived by her mother: Jeanne (Arrigo) Groome; two sisters & brothers-in-law: Pamela & Richard Schad, Marmora, Patricia & Dominic Buirch, Upper Deerfield; one niece: Allison Schad; one nephew: Matthew Schad; her beloved dog, Poochie.
Her Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Sacred Heart Church, 1010 E. Landis Ave., Vineland, with burial to follow in the Sacred Heart cemetery. CONOVER, LORETTA, 81 - of Absecon, passed away peacefully at her home on December 24, 2004 from the effects of a stroke she suffered three years ago. She was the wife of the late Charles (Don) Conover, Sr., daughter of the dearly departed Louis C. and Margaret Ziegert, and sister of the late Margaret Connor and Frances Cain. Born in Atlantic City, she was a resident of Absecon for over 75 years. A graduate of Pleasantville High School and the Atlantic City Hospital School of Nursing Class of 1945, she served the last six months of nursing school at England General Hospital during World War II. A Registered Nurse she was a loving and caring homemaker. She was a charter member of the Absecon Historical Society, AARP Chapter 705, Atlantic County Historical Society, the Van Kouwenhoven Family Association and a parishioner of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Absecon. She is survived by her five sons, Charles D. (Ruth), Louis R. (Cheryl), Robert L. (Cynthia), Patrick K. and Brian F. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, Mathew, Jonathan, Lisa, Marianne, Melissa, Christopher, Victoria, Erik and Dylan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 30, 2004 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Absecon. Friends may call at the Church one hour prior to Mass. HILTON, CHARLES NELSON, 79 - of Ocean City, on Monday, December 27, 2004 at his home.
Born in Atlantic City, he had lived in Northfield before moving to Ocean City in 1954.
He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the United States Navy.
Mr. Hilton worked as a Butcher for Resorts International in Atlantic City for 20 years. He was also employed as a Milkman, Breadman and Butcher for Palermo's Thriftway in Ocean City and a Parking Lot Attendant for the City of Ocean City.
He was a member of V.F.W. Post #6650, Ocean City. Mr. Hilton was an avid golfer and bowler, and was a regular at local coffee shops.
Surviving are his wife, Florence Hilton (nee Caldwell) of Ocean City; two daughters, Joanna Ciasca and her husband Jim of Ocean City, Carolyn Schoettler and her husband Mark of Galloway Township; four grandchildren, Sean Taylor and his wife Nicole of Egg Harbor Township, Catherine Krause and her husband Dave of Marmora, Bonnie Wolf and her husband Robert of Galloway Township, and Frank Bruce, III and his companion Daniel Abate of Galloway Twp.; eight great grandchildren, Zachary, Kaitlyn, Jacob, Travis, Jonathan, Robert Jr., Krista, Samantha; a brother, Norman Hilton and his wife Virginia of Northfield; two sisters, Corrine Rosenbloom and her husband Daniel of Linwood, Patsy King and her husband O.D. of Virginia Beach, VA. Preceded in death by a son, Charles N. Hilton, Jr.
His Funeral Service will be offered Thursday morning at 11 o'clock from the Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, where friends may call from ten o'clock until the time of service. Interment will follow in Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House.

GALINSKI, SHARI L. - passed away peacefully at her home with her loved ones on Monday, December 27, 2004 after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Utica, NY and was a graduate of Whitesboro High School. She resided in Orange County California for the past 24 years. Shari was passionate about fitness and health and used her talents to help the elderly with their nutritional needs as a Registered Dietician with the Sunrise Assisted Living in Southern California.
Her joy for life and love for her family and friends will be sadly missed but never forgotten by her sister Lori and her loving partner Joseph of Mays Landing; her brother Peter and his wife Susan and their children Allyson and Paul of Toronto, Canada; her special cousin and friend Barbara and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Georgian and her brother Paul.
