BOGLE, CATHERINE M. (Green), 81 - of Cape May, died Sunday morning in Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House.
Mrs. Bogle was born in Philadelphia, PA. Formerly of Lafayette Hill, PA, Mrs. Bogle summered in Cape May for 60 years, and has resided here for the past 12 years. She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church in Cape May, and was a member of St. Philip Neri Church in Lafayette Hill, PA. She was a member of the Women's Guild at St. Philip Neri Church.
She was a member of the Mother's Club at LaSalle High School, Philadelphia. She was a graduate of Germantown High School Class of 1941, where she was voted most athletic in the class.
She was a volunteer for the St. Thomas Aquinas Society at St. Joseph's Villa, Chestnut Hill, PA.
She was a volunteer with the Meals on Wheels Program.
Mrs. Bogle and her late husband Frank were co-founding members of The Original Fudge Kitchen Stores.
Mrs. Bogle was predeceased by her husband Frank Bogle, Sr. in 1992.
She is survived by: one daughter, Kathleen (and husband Edwin) Faust, of Northfield; five sons, Frank (and Katie) Bogle, of Avalon, Kevin Bogle, of Avalon, Edward (and Janet) Bogle, of Cape Cod, MA, Joseph Bogle, of Cape May, & Paul (and Leslie) Bogle, of Cape May; 12 grandchildren, Matthew, Joseph, and Michael Faust, Francis, Christopher, Andrew, Patrick, Molly, Julia, Edward, Paul Jr., and Amanda Catherine Bogle; a sister in law, Dorothy Green, of Roslyn, PA; a brother in law, Andrew Bogle, of Margate.
There will be a viewing Tuesday from 4 PM to 7 PM in the Sudak-Danaher Funeral Home, 815 Washington St., Cape May. An additional viewing will be held Wednesday from 10 AM to 11 AM, with Funeral Liturgy to follow at 11 AM, in St. Philip Neri Church, 437 Ridge Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA. Entombment will be in St. Matthews cemetery, Conshohocken.

BARBERA, ANGELINA D., (NEE RICCARDI), 90 - of Atlantic City, died peacefully on Friday, December 24, 2004, at Shore Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Barbera lived most of her life in Atlantic City. She was a member of St. Michaels Church and devoted to the Blessed Mother. She had been a member of the Italian American Club of Atlantic City.
Mrs. Barbera is predeceased by her husband and best friend, Charles Barbera. She is survived by her son Patrick Logan and his wife Mary Ellen of Springfield, PA, and a granddaughter Mara.
The Funeral Mass for Mrs. Barbera will be Celebrated 10am Wednesday, December 29, 2004, at St Michaels Church, 10 North Mississippi Avenue. Friends may call from 9am a.m. the Church. Rite of Committal will be offered at Holy Cross cemetery, Mays Landing following Mass. Arrangements by the Gormley Funeral Home LLC 2706 Atlantic Avenue AC.

BAILEY, MAUDIE L., 76 - of Cape May Court House, died on Friday at Eastern Shore Nursing Home. She was born February 13, 1926 in Catonsville, MD. She moved to New Jersey in 1954.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ruffus (Steve) Bailey, son, Donald K. Diehl, brother, Albert Ross and grandson, Steven D. Stevens.
She is survived by her daughters, Dixie McGuire, Nina Kennedy, Janice Worrell and Trica Macomber; her maternal grandchildren, Robert E. Mauger III and Amy-Brooke Flagg; paternal grandchildren, Michael, Sharon and Jennifer McGuire, Donald III and Gary Diehl, Amber Stevens, William Macomber, David Day and Sabrina Pryor. Also survived by 12 great grand, and one great-great grandson.
Memorial services: 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House. There is no calling time. Interment private.

CHAPPINE, MICHAEL JAMES, 49 - of Tabernacle, Michael died suddenly on Christmas Eve doing what he loved, spending time in the woods.
Mike was born in Fort Dix and raised in Southampton. He had been a resident of Tabernacle for 22 years. He was a 1973 graduate of Lenape High School and received a football scholarship to Drexel University where he graduated in 1978. He was an accounting officer at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Pomona and had been an employee of the Federal Government for 30 years.
He was Vice President of the Tabernacle Township Board of Education of which he had been a member for eight years. Mike was the immediate past Softball Commissioner of Tabernacle and played softball with Medford and Tabernacle Men's Softball leagues. He also played with the United Delaware Valley Baseball League, Over 38 White Sox. He had previously been a baseball coach for the Tabernacle Athletic Association. He was a member of me Tabernacle United Methodist Church and former member of the Vincentown United Methodist Church.
Next to his family, Mike's greatest love was deer hunting.
Mike will forever live in the hearts of the love of his life, Judy Chappine (nee Grovatt) to whom he had been married for 28 years; his precious children, Steven Chappine of Tabernacle and Easthampton, MA, daughter Stephanie Chappine of Tabernacle and son Stephen Jones of Tabernacle and Easthampton, MA; his parents, Frank and Dorothy Chappine of Southampton; grandmother, Gladys Bakley of Riverton; sister, Teresa Kenselaar of Medford; brother, James Chappine and sister, Kathy Rosmando and husband, Gary and dear aunt, Carolyn Budd all of Southampton. He is also survived by numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, four godchildren, 16 nieces and nephews, six great nieces and nephews and countless friends and extended family, Mike will be sorely missed by his great friend Dominick Terranova and surrogate daughter, Chelsie Flake.
Friends may call at the Tabernacle United Methodist Church on Wednesday from 6 -10 pm and Thursday from 10-11 am. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 am also at the Tabernacle United Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Junior Mechanics cemetery in Tabernacle. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to contribute to the Michael J. Chappine Scholarship Fund, Tabernacle Township School, c/o the Board of Education, 132 New Road, Tabernacle. NJ 08088. Arrangements by the Perinchief Chapels. Mt. Holly.

YOHE, HARRY D. (Harry "O"), - of the Linwood section of Lower Chichester, formerly of Brigantine, died Wednesday, December 22, 2004 at Riddle Memorial Hospital, Media. Mr. Yohe was born in Chester and was raised in Linwood. He was a Sheet Metal Worker for Local 27 in NJ for 33 years before retiring in 1995. Veteran of the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict, he served from 1954 to 1957. A member of the American Legion Post 951 of Ogden and Post 396 of Brigantine. Also a member of the Moose Lodge 2189 of Aston. He was a motorcycle enthusiast who loved to ride his Harley. Survived by three sons, Charles F. Yohe of Egg Harbor Township, Robert Yohe of Frisco, CO, and Eric Yohe of Destin, FL; one daughter, Kelly Ann Warker of Egg Harbor Township; two sisters, Shirley Perkins with whom Harry made his home in Linwood, Barbara Stewart also of Linwood; one half-sister, Frances Lamey of Chester County; six grandchildren: Ryan, Tyler, Megan, Warker, all of Egg Harbor Twp., Hawk Yohe, Miramar, Fl, Christine & Colleen Gauvin of Egg Harbor Twp. He is also the brother of the late John A. Yohe who died in 1993. Friends may call from 1 to 2pm Tuesday with a 2pm service scheduled at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Rd. (Rt. 9), Northfield. Burial will follow in the Atlantic County Veterans cemetery.

JENNINGS, LARRY W. "The Stairman", 52 - of Galloway, passed away peacefully at home, with family and friends present, on Saturday, December 25, 2004. He was born in Mountain City, TN, before moving here ten years ago. Larry was a skilled craftsman, not only in wood, but in his ability to share life's experiences. He was always willing to lend a hand; family, friends, and music were his greatest love and passion.
He is survived by his best friend and life companion, Nancy Rubin; his children, Stephanie, Zachary, and Christina; his brother, Tom; other best friends and family, Sean, Kevin, Steve, Joe, Aunt Ruth, Uncle Sherman, Hannah, Ed, Mary, and Earl. Viewing will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at Wimberg Funeral Home, 211 E. Great Creek Rd., Galloway Township, 609-641-0001, where his funeral services will begin at 7:00 p.m. Contributions in his memory to A.C.M.C. Hospice Program would be appreciated.

THOMPSON, JOHN J., 75 - of Atlantic City, died peacefully Thursday morning December 23, 2004, at the Atlantic City Medical Center following a lengthy illness. Born in Pleasantville, Mr. Thompson spent his entire life in the Atlantic City area. He had been a painter and a member of the Painters District Local #711 and retired from the Atlantic City Housing Authority as a member of the maintenance staff. A veteran of the US Army and the National Guard, he served during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Thompson is predeceased by his wife Katherine Thompson, his daughter Kathy Ann Thompson and his brother William Thompson. Surviving him are three grandchildren; Lauren, Heather and J.J.
The Funeral Mass for Mr. Thompson will be Celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2004, at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 2651 Atlantic Avenue. Friends may call from 9 a.m. at the Church. Rite of Committal will be offered at The Atlantic County Veterans, Route 50 in Estell Manor following Mass. Arrangements by the Gormley Funeral Home LLC 2706 Atlantic Avenue AC.

LOEPER, ISABEL PELLY, 93 - of Ocean City, passed away on December 25, 2004.
She was born in Brookline, a section of Havertown, PA, and was the daughter of the late J. Harold and Katharine Pelly. She was the wife of the late Simmitt J. "Chip" Loeper.
Isabel was a long time summer resident of Ocean City and then moved to the shore full time in 1968.
She is survived by her son, S. John Loeper, and his wife Marj Loeper, of Ocean City; her daughter, Nancy I. Loeper, of Gainesville, FL; her granddaughter, Rebeca E. Loeper, of Ocean City and two nephews and a niece.
Isabel was a leader and volunteer in her communities. She was past president of the Brookline Woman's Club where her mother was a charter member. An active member of Holy Trinity Church in Ocean City she served as President and Vice President of the Saint Mary's Guild and was chairlady of numerous fund raising events. She was also a former member of the Shore Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, the Ocean City Historical Society, Colony Club and Civic Club.
Isabel was an avid bridge player, golfer, gardener and good friend to many. She was known for her sense of humor and zest for life.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 29 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 30th and Bay Avenue, Ocean City.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be sent to Shore Memorial Hospital, 1 E. New York Ave., Somers Point, NJ 08244.

MARSHALL, KATHRYN RAE (nee Sprague), 85 - of Beach Haven, passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2004 at Southern Ocean Center, Manahawkin. Mrs. Marshall was born in West Creek and resided in Beach Haven for most of her life.
Mrs. Marshall was a member of the Kynett United Methodist Church, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Beacon Chapter #282, both of Beach Haven. She is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years Peter W. Marshall, two daughters Judy and her husband George Binet of Cedar Run, Joyce and her husband Harry DeVerter of New Gretna and one son Whitney and his wife Diane Marshall of Beach Haven, one sister Frances and her husband Frank Fulton of West Creek, one brother Everett of California. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 30 at 12:00 noon at the Kynett United Methodist Church, Center St. and Beach Ave., Beach Haven. Visitation will be held at the church from 11:00 until time of service. Burial will be private. Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home, Ship Bottom is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Kynett United Methodist Church, Center St. & Beach Ave., Beach Haven NJ 08008 in Mrs. Marshall's memory.

SHAW, JEAN B. (nee Bryan), 89 - of Beesley's Point, on Friday, December 24, 2004 at Shore Memorial Hospital.
Jean was born in Philadelphia, PA and live in Drexel Hill and Media, PA until moving to Beesley's Point in 1987.
She attended Upper Darby High School, class of 1933, was active in the American Red Cross Motor Corps during World War II, was a member of The Daughters of the American Revolution, Media Chapter, was a former member of Rolling Green Golf Club in Springfield, PA. She was also a member of The Garden Club of Upper Township.
She was predeceased by her husband, Charles D. Shaw, III in 2000. Jean is survived by a son, Donald of Beesley's Point, and a daughter, Bettie Fraser and her husband Gerry of Essex, Ontario. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Susan Shaw of Beesley's Point, Charles Houder and his wife Meghan of Ardmore, PA, and Susan Hagan and her husband Brad of Greensburg, PA as well as a great granddaughter, Lauren Jean Hagan. Her sisters surviving are Agnes Mount of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Ann (Mimi) Jackson, and her husband Ken of West Chester, PA. A brother Franklin died many years ago.
Her Funeral Service and Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
The family thanks all her many friends for their love and friendship over the many happy years. Donations can be made to Shore Memorial Hospital, Cancer Care Program, One New York Avenue, Somers Point, NJ 08244.

PANICO, VILGE, 79 - of Vineland, passed away Monday Morning at the Renaissance Nursing Center in Bridgeton after a short illness. She was a lifelong Vineland resident. Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Siloam cemetery, Valley Ave. Vineland. Arrangements are by the Pancoast Funeral Home.

SMIRES, MARY 95 - of Hammonton, died December 23, 2004 at Greenbriar Nursing Home in Hammonton. She was a waitress for Frankie Bradley's Restaurant in Phila. for 50 years. She was the mother of the late Mary E. Donovan; grandmother of Rev. Charles Conaty, Maimie Gummoe, Patty Massey, Kathy Messina and James Donovan; twelve great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service on Wednesday morning 11:30 am at the Norton Funeral Home, 1232 S. Black Horse Pike, Williamstown. Where friends may call after 11:00 am. Burial in St. Mary Cem. Williamstown.
