KAZANES, MILDRED BOWDEN, 71 - of Belleplain, died September 10, 2004 at Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa. Born in Chester, PA, daughter of the late Clarence and Annie Taylor Bowden. She was a previous resident of Tucson, AZ and Greentown, PA. She attended Chester schools and was a homemaker. She was a former member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Chester, PA. Mr. Kazanes loved bingo, going out to dinner, playing cards. While growing up in Chester enjoyed her skating trips to the former Great Leopard Roller Skating Rink in Chester. She is survived by her husband of forty eight years, Henry Kazanes; son, Jeffrey Alexander Kazanes, Belleplain; daughters, Mildred Ann Musgrave, Moscow, PA and Martha Theresa Creamer, Belleplain; and four grandchildren. Mother of the late Henry Kazanes, Jr. who died September 14, 2003. Sister of the late Clarence "Buddy" Bowden, Madeline Blankley and Dorothy Evans. Funeral service 11:00 AM Thursday at White-Luttrell Funeral Home, 311 N. Swarthmore Avenue, Ridley Park, PA. Visitation after 10:00AM Thursday at the funeral home. Interment Lawn Croft cemetery, Lower Chichester Township, PA.

LAWSON, ROY A., 49 - of Manahawkin, died on September 11, 2004 at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Manahawkin. He was born in Washington, DC, he resided most of his lifetime in Manahawkin. He was a self employed builder in Manahawkin and Long Beach Island. He was a member of Bayside Chapel, Barnegat. He was predeceased by his father James. He is survived by his wife Emily (nee Shinn), son Christopher of Manahawkin, daughter Jeanine Arthur of Manahawkin, brothers Robert of PA., Frank of NJ, and Thomas of Kentucky, sisters Nancy Peterson of Scullville and Linda Grant of Manahawkin, grandchildren Karelyn, Christopher, Nikolas, and Tristan. Also his mother Maryellen Gallina and husband Harold. Funeral service will be offered on Wednesday t 11:30 am at the Funeral Home, followed by interment at St. May's cemetery, Manahawkin. Viewing hours are on Tuesday evening from 7-9pm and Wednesday morning from 9:30-11:30 am at Maxwell Funeral Home, 573 Mill Creek Rd, Manahawkin, NJ 08050.

WRIGHT, HELEN G., 78 - of Cape May, died on Monday, September 13, 2004, at the Crest Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Stone Harbor, the daughter of the late James O. and Helen Errickson Garrison and lived in Cape May County most of her life. She owned and operated a gift shop in St. Michaels,. Maryland for 15 years. She is survived by her husband, John W. "Jake"; two brothers; Ralph Garrison of Westville and Alvin Garrison of Cape May Court House. Funeral services and interment are private. Memorials may be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, NJ Chapter, PO Box 214, Elizabeth, NJ 07207.

MILLER, JAMES E. "JAY JAY" 35 - of Pittsgrove Twp., died suddenly on Sunday morning at home. Jay Jay was born in Vineland and was a lifelong Pittsgrove Twp. resident. He was pre deceased by his mother, Wanda Lee Webb Miller.
Jay Jay worked for the Easter Seals in Millville. He loved music especially country music and playing his Guitar. He also loved drawing, basketball and being with his family. Jay Jay was a very special brother to his 2 sisters: Patricia Ann DiMaria, Pittsgrove, Cheryl Lynn Yamamoto, Pittsgrove, 2 brothers: Leonard W. Streeper, Richland & Theodore Streeper, Jr., Vineland, Uncle to Meghan, Stephanie & Nicole.
His funeral service will be conducted at 12 Noon on Thursday in the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Rd., Vineland, NJ where relatives & friends will be received from 11:00-12:00 Noon. Burial will be in the Siloam cemetery, Vineland.

LEONCINI, MILDRED (NEE PAGANO) - a life long resident of Hammonton died Monday, September 13, 2004 at home. She was a sales clerk at the Ideal Bakery for several years until her retirement. Mildred, who enjoyed baking and cooking, dedicated much of her life to her family. As a young widow, she and her beloved sister, Ann, who predeceased her, raised her daughter Carol. Mildred was the proud grandmother of two granddaughters. She is survived by her daughter and "son" Carol and Arthur Orsi with whom she resided; her grandchildren, Lisa and John DeKlerk of Vineland and Lois Orsi of Hammonton; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday 10:00am at the Marinella Funeral Home, 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton. Funeral Service 11:00am. Entombment Holy Cross cemetery Mays Landing. Donations may be made to the Presbyterian Church, 326 Bellevue Ave., Hammonton Rescue Squad, 300 S. Egg Harbor Rd or the Foundation of W,B. Kessler Memorial Hospital. ZIPPEL, ANTHONY MICHAEL, 19 - of Dorothy, suddenly on September 11, 2004.
Dear son of Mario B. and Mary Lynn (nee Pyffer); dear brother of Mario B. Jr and his wife Melissa and Christopher and his wife Misty; dear uncle of Gabrielle and Emily; also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Anthony was employed by Hamilton Township, Atlantic County and was a graduate of Buena High School.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral on Thursday from 9:15 to 10:15 am at the Falco/Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 North Browing Road. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am at the Church of St. Mary, 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Visitation and Vigil Service will be held Wednesday at the Funeral Home from 7 to 9pm. Interment will follow at Bethel Memorial Park in Pennsauken.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Atlantic County Special Services School, 4805 Newakwa Blvd., CN3000, Mays Landing, NJ 08330.

BARILE, HENRY A., 96 - of Little Egg Harbor, died on Sunday September 12, 2004 at the Manahawkin Nursing and Rehab Center, Manahawkin. Mr. Barile was born in Manhattan, NY and formerly of Fort Lee and Whiting he moved to Little Egg Harbor Township in 1992.
Mr. Barile had been a self employed Pharmacist who owned & operated Geety Pharmacy of Manhattan from 1940-1965. He was employed at Hackensack Hospital as the Pharmacist, retiring in 1971 and after that he worked part time at the Island Pharmacy of Ship Bottom for several years as an Assistant Pharmacist.
Mr. Barile was pre-deceased by his wife of 55 years, Annie (nee Saine), who died in 1989. Surviving are one daughter Lucy and her husband Robert Shriner of Little Egg Harbor Township. Also surviving are two granddaughters Kim Shriner of Hackettstown and Amy and her husband Greg Smith of Florida, and one great granddaughter Courtney Lynn Smith.
Private funeral services are under the direction of the Bugbee-Riggs Funeral Home 12th St. & Blvd., Ship Bottom.

GIANNINI, MARIE MARJORIE (McELROY), 80 - passed away surrounded by her loving family on September 13, 2004.
She was born and raised in Atlantic City and graduated from AC High School. She was the daughter of the late George and Marie Mullin.
She is predeceased by sons Patrick McElroy and Jeffrey Giannini. She is survived by husband F. John Giannini; her daughters Marianne Wnuk of Somers Point, Diane Stetser (George) of Egg Harbor Township, Michele Walter of Absecon, Lisa Micheal (Tom) of Galloway, Andrea Kimble (Bob) of Somers Point; a daughter-in-law Mona Giannini; sister Kathleen Leeds (David) of Absecon; brother Larry Mullin; 12 grandchildren, Lee, Kimberly, Patty Lynn, Scott, Kevin, Tammy, Michael, Danny, Jeffrey, Jimmy, Zack, Danielle; and two great grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2004 at 10:30 AM at St. Peters Church, 25 West Black Horse Pike, Pleasantville. The family will be receiving friends from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass at the church on Thursday morning.
Interment will be held Thursday in Laurel Memorial Park, Pomona.

HOOPES, JAMES G., JR., 56 - of Ventnor, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 16, 2004. Jim was a lifelong resident of Ventnor. He is survived by his beloved wife Cathy (nee Maguire) of 35 years, daughter Lisa, son Jimmy and his wife Merry, grandsons: Jayson and Joey, father James Sr. and his wife Marlene, brother Billy, and sister Cynthia. Jim was predeceased by his mother Elizabeth Pentony.
He attended St. James Holy Spirit High School, ACC and Glassboro State College. Jim served six years as reservist in the NJ Army National Guard. Jim was an Atlantic City Firefighter and Jitney driver for 28 years. He retired from the ACFD as a Captain in 2000. Jim could often be found riding his bike or walking the boardwalk with his dog "Charlie". He enjoyed spending time engaged in friendly conversation. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan. Jim loved playing with his grandsons.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday 10a.m. at the St. James Church, Ventnor. Viewing will be held Tuesday 6-8p.m. at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 7300 Ventnor Ave., Ventnor, and again Wednesday morning one hour prior to the Mass in the church. Burial Laurel Memorial Park, Pomona. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jim's memory can be made to Holy Spirit High School Father's Club, Route 9, Absecon, NJ 08201.

DUBLE, ANNA C. (nee Matarese), 83 - of Cedar Brook, on September 18. Beloved wife of the late Edward E. "Bud" Duble, Sr. of 53 years. Loving mother of Anne D. Grierson and her husband William of Williamstown, Monica Chambers and her husband James of Cedar Brook, and Edward E. Duble, Sr. of Cedar Brook. Proud grandmother of Laura, David and Richard. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Mildred Matarese of Cedar Brook and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Duble was an outstanding cook, seamstress, mother and aunt. She was the crocheting queen. Mrs. Duble was one of the founding members and 20 year volunteer with the Cedar Brook Ambulance Corp and volunteered for the Cedar Brook Fire Co. Woman's Auxiliary. She also volunteered for many years with the American Red Cross blood drives and ran trips for the Winslow Township Senior Citizen's Organization. Along with her sisters, Mrs. Duble ran her parents general store in Cedar Brook during World War II. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco 856-767-0539 and again Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, Cedar Brook. Interment, Sacred Heart cemetery, Cedar Brook. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Diabetes Assoc., PO Box 1132, Fairfax, VA 22038-1132.

GOLDBERG, GERALDINE A., 62 - of Ocean City, on Sunday, September 19, 2004 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point.
Born in Plainfield, she had lived in Upper Township for 13 years before moving to Ocean City 15 years ago.
Mrs. Goldberg worked as a private duty L.P.N. and was the school nurse for Ocean City Intermediate School, Ocean City for 33 years before her retirement in 1999.
She was an active volunteer with the Miss New Jersey Pageant, past president of the Upper Township P.T.A., served as a cheerleading coach of the Upper Township Indians, and was a volunteer with The Young Entertainers.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph D. Goldberg of Ocean City; a daughter, Gwen Goldberg Fritsch and her husband Thomas of Lancaster, PA; two grandchildren, Jordan and Avery; and a sister, Constance A. DeVinney of Ocean City.
Friends may call Wednesday evening from seven until nine o'clock from the Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday morning at ten o'clock from the Church of the Resurrection, 200 West Tuckahoe Road, Marmora. Burial will follow Mass in Laurel Memorial Park, Pomona.
The family suggests those who desire send memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 626 North Shore Road, Absecon, NJ 08201.

FITHIAN, IVY B., 106 - of Wildwood, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2004, Born in England, she was a resident of Wildwood over 70 years.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, the late Albert Fithian.
She along with her husband owned and operated the Fithian Meat Market in Wildwood at Maple and Pacific Avenues.
Beloved mother of the late William Hart (the late Catherine), Mildred Bolle (the late Bill Bolle), Rev. Canon Harry Hart (Mary Jane), and Peggy Bustard (William). She was the adoring grandmother of ten grand-children, 21 great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
Memorial service 2 pm Sunday, October 3, 2004 officiated by Rev. Canon Harry Hart at St. Simeon's Episcopal Church, 2500 Central Ave., North Wildwood.
Arrangements by Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home.

CONVEY, JOHN F. X., 74 - of Somers Point, his strongest memory from his life was the "Great Depression." He said it was life and mind altering.
Surviving are his devoted wife of 25 years, Carole R. (Ernst) Convey formerly of Delaware County, PA; his children and their spouses, John F. (Janice) of Quakertown PA, Marge M. (Matt) Secamiligo of Wilmington, DE, Robert F. (Nancy) of Philadelphia, Pa, Luann Convey of Audubon, Linda L. (John) Montheith of Sedesboro; fifteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren; his siblings, James, Thomas, Joseph and Bernadette (Holston).
"The Gift of Life" has been given by John to three transplant recipients in the Philadelphia, PA area.
Relatives and friends are invited to John's Life Celebration on Tuesday evening at O'Leary Funeral Home, 640 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA from 6:30pm to 9:00 pm, and also Wednesday morning at 9:00 am to 9:45 am followed by the Funeral Mass, 10:00 am, Holy Cross R.C. Church, Springfield, PA. Interment, Sts. Peter and Paul cemetery, Springfield, PA.
Memorial contributions to the Parkinson's Foundation, or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated.

SCHWARTZ, EUGENE S., 84 - of Ventnor, died September 16, 2004. Mr. Schwartz was a retired bookbinder and an Air Force Veteran of WWII, retiring as a Colonel after 11 years. Husband of Lillian (Shenkman). Father of Dyane Sylk, Stewart (Patty) Schwartz, Jill (Edward) Baim and Joy (Max) Reif. Also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements by Goldsteins' Rosenberg's Raphael-Sacks.
