GLOVER, FRANK P., 75 - of Boca Raton, FL, passed away after a lengthy illness at his home on Saturday, August 21, 2004. Born in Atlantic City, formerly of Northfield. He has been a South Florida resident since 1970. Mr. Glover began his career in the title insurance business in New Jersey, with Chelsea Title, where he held various positions, eventually rising to the position of Senior Vice President in 1970. Mr. Glover moved to Miami to assume the position of President and CEO of American Title Insurance Company. Frank was also very involved in community affairs and activities affecting his family, he enjoyed traveling around the world and did so throughout his life for business and pleasure. Mr. Glover is survived by his loving wife of over 20 years, Laurie Glover of Boca Raton, FL; children, Kathye McCarty (Michael) of Pawlet, VT, Wendy Kruedelback of Seaville, Robert F. Glover of Dorothy, and Michael A. Glover of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Joseph and Andrew Loteck and Frank and Emily Rose Glover. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday (today), August 24, 2004, at the funeral home. MARTIN, ROGER E., 93 - of Cape May Point, on Sunday August 22, 2004 at JFK Haven Hospice in Edison.
Born and raised in Taunton, Massachusetts, Rogers resided in Roselle Park and Edison before settling to Cape May Point. He also maintained a part time residence in Florida and in addition resided with his daughter and son in law in So. Plainfield.
He attended Columbia University for 13 years at nigh, graduating with a degree in Metallurgy.
A Metallurgist for Phelps Dodge, he later worked as the Vice President of Research and Development for the former Triangle Conduit and Cable Company in New Brunswick, retiring at the age of 62.
Roger was a communicant of St. John of God RC Church in Lower Cape May and had attended Our Lady of Czestochowa Church in So. Plainfield. In addition he was a member of AARP and was an avid salt water fisherman. He was know as on of the top five fisherman in Southern New Jersey, winning many torments in among his accomplishments.
His wife Lucy F. Martin did in 1991 and his brother, Larry is also predeceased.
He is survived by his three daughters and their husbands, Barbara and John Murray of Maplewood, Carol and Bill Abbas of So. Plainfield and Lois and Joe Zelenski of Port Townsend Washington. His brother, William of Florida, six grandchildren and fiver great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 26, 2004 at 8:45 AM in the McCriskin Home For Funeral 2425 Plainfield Ave., So Plainfield, NJ 07080 followed by a 9:30AM funeral Mass in Our Lady of Czestochowa RC Church, South Plainfield. Entombment will follow in St. Peter's Mausoleum, New Brunswick. Visitation will be held on Wednesday August 25, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9pm in funeral home.
GEISELHART, EDWARD L., "PITT", 68 - of Wildwood, passed away Monday at the Burdette Tomlin Hospital. Born in Pittsburgh, PA he has been a local resident for the past 17 years.
Mr. Geiselhart was a corpman in the US Navy and a bartender at Kelly's Cafe in Wildwood for many years.
He is survived by two daughters: Wendy and Pam, seven grandchildren, two brothers: Paul and Jim also survived by many, many friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday 1:30 pm at St. Mary's cemetery, 1056 Seashore Rd., Lower Township. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Love of Linda Cancer Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood. NJ would be appreciated. Arrangements by Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home.
WHITE, MARGARET, REIDER (Peggie), 63 - of Plum Branch Rd., Edgefield, SC, died Sunday August 22, 2004 at the Edgefield County Hospital.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday August 25, 2004 at 6 P.M. at Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home and visitation will be at the home of Richard and Suzanne White, 823 Plum Branch Rd. after the service.
Mrs. White was a native of Stafford, CT. and was a member of the Christian Church. Mrs. White was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband. Bill J. White, Sr., two daughters, Kathryn and (Anthony) Massaro, Vineland, Cheryl and (Brian) Papakie, Woodbridge, VA, two sons, Bill Jr and (Laureen) White, and Richard and (Suzanne) White both of Edgefield, one brother, Richard Reider, Clinton, Maine, two sisters, Martha Roeske, Egg Harbor Township, Barbara Gallagher, NC, five grandchildren.
WHITTED, GERALD JEROME, "JERRY", 54 - of Atlantic City, departed this life and went home to be with the Lord on August 20th in the AC Medical Center, City Div. Born in Atlantic City, he attended the local public schools and was affiliated with St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church through out his life. He worked at Burke's Luggage Co. as a Salesman and was lastly employed as a Floorperson and Boxperson at both the Resort's and Sands Hotel-Casinos. He is survived by: his ex-wife, friend and mother of his children, Carolyn "Spooda" Whitted of Atco; two daughters, Stacey D. Whitted of Greenbelt, Md. and Rayna N. Whitted of Pleasantville; three sisters, Jeanette Santiago and her husband Ralph, Michelle Taylor and her husband, Joseph, all of Pleasantville and Belinda Dorsey; five brothers: Michael Hargrove, Ricardo Whitted and his wife, Ena and Brian Whitted of Atlantic City, Ivan Whitted and his wife, India of Decatur, Ga. and Kent Whitted and his wife, LaTisha of Pleasantville; two grandchildren: Tianna and Naji; his mother-in-law, Carrie Mack; his brother-in-law, Ledford Mack, both of Pleasantville and a sister-in-law, Denise Mack, of Galloway; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. MAXWELL, LEWIS R., 78 - of Lower Bank, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2004 at his home surrounded by his cousins Michael, Colleen, and Cherie Peranteau along with his dear companion Agnes Allen. Lewis was Second World War Navy Veteran with 20 years of service, along with 13 years of Civil Service in Washington, D.C. He came back to Lower Bank in 1978 and was a member of the American Legion Post 430 in Galloway Township, the Fleet Reserve Association #013, the Scottish Rit of Freemanonry, Grand Lodge, F.A.A. of the District of Columbia, and was a member of the Parachute Riggers Association. Lewis is predeceased by his wife Estella S. Maxwell (June 22, 2000) and his mother and father Lewis and Florence Maxwell.
Lewis is survived by his aunt Marjorie Cavileer of Lower Bank, along with many cousins, and step-daughter Mary Limer and family of Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.

WELLS, EDWARD 80 - of Collings Lakes, died Sunday, August 28, 2004 at Greenbriar Nursing Center in Hammonton. Born in Ocean City, he lived in Ceilings Lakes since 1956. He worked for Jessie Morie Sand & Gravel in Winslow. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, Edward was predeceased by his parents Samuel and Ella Wells. GABAGE, JOHN, 81 - of Vineland, passed away on Monday morning in the Millville Center of Genesis Elder Care after a brief illness. John was born & raised in Buena & was a lifelong Vineland city resident. He was the wife of the late Dorothy M. Brustar Gabage who died in 1997.

FERRARI, DOROTHY, "DOT TEA", (nee Tyrrell), 67 - of Vineland, left this earth to be with her daughter Stephanie on Saturday afternoon after a short illness. Dotti was born and raised in Atlantic City and had resided in Vineland for 44 years. She was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy Breen Tyrrell. Dotti was a 1955 graduate of the Holy Spirit High School. She was a member of the Padre Pio Parish. Her first love was her family. Dotti was a caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had a great sense of humor and loved being around people. She enjoyed going to the casino's, shopping and going to dinner with family and friends. Most of all she loved being with her grandchildren who were the light in her life. She will be remembered and missed always. She was pre deceased by her daughter Stephanie. She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years: Richard, one daughter and son in law: Colleen and Michael Duffy, Egg Harbor Twp., one son and daughter in law: Richard and Denise Ferrari, Vineland, four grandchildren: Michael and Sean Duffy, Stacey and Caitlyn Ferrari, one sister: Elizabeth Martone, Eatontown, one brother: Jack Tyrrell, Randolph, Mass. And numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind many loving friends. MUZZARELLI, FERNANDO FRED, 84 - of Buena Vista Twp., passed away on Saturday, August 28, at his residence. Fred was born in Italy and a long time resident of Buena Vista Twp., Before moving here from Illinois. He attended Vineland schools and was employed as an Irrigation salesman for Lee Rain and Barton Supply for over 25 years. A member of the Buena Vista Exchange Club, the Landisville Social Club, the American Legion of Minotola and the Buena Vista Democratic Club. Fred served as Buena Vista Township committeeman from 1966 to 1982, Buena Vista Twp. Mayor form 1972 to 1974. Fred also served as Township Treasurer and sat on its Planning Board. He was also a member of the League of Municipalities, a United States Army Veteran serving during World War II holding the rank of Corporal. He received the distinguished Unit Badge, Purple Heart, Combat Infantry Badge, and the American Defense Service Ribbon. He especially enjoyed his family, friends, watching sports and taking care of his yard.
He is survived by his daughter: Linda (Muzzarelli) Sikking, Vineland; sister & brother in-law: Edna & Edward Leonelli, Vineland; sister & brother-in-law: Irene & Al Cioni, Vineland; sister-in-law: Elizabeth Muzzarelli, Vineland; grandson & his wife: Daniel & Beth Sikking, Dorothy; granddaughter and her husband: Janice & Jim Stadtmueller, Egg Harbor City; five great grandsons, one great- great grandson; special friend: Marge Ruggeri; many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his wife: Cesira (Giacomelli) Muzzarelli, his son: Fred Muzzarelli Jr., and his brother: Egidio Deimo Muzzarelli.

SPERLAK, PATRICIA ANN (McGough), 70 - of Del Haven, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 28, 2004, surrounded by her family and friends.
Born in the Germantown section of Philadelphia in 1934 to the late Ambrose and Viola McGough, she was the eighth of eleven children. Patricia was a gentle, beautiful and loving person. She was very talented in many crafts and enjoyed decorating her home and gardens for every holiday. Her Halloween display attracted hundreds of visitors from all over each year. She worked her whole life to help raise her family as clerk at Murphy's 5 & 10 in Wildwood in the 1950's to The Showboat Casino of late.
Patricia had the most beautiful voice, and loved to travel and take Sunday drives. Her family will forever hear her sing.
Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Lt. USCG (Ret) Stephen this past December. She is survived by her four children, William Payne of Lakeworth, FL, and Patricia Ann (Lunden) of Florida, Stephen (and Jane) Sperlak of Estell Manor, and Stan Sperlak of Cape May Court House, whose family brought her two grandsons Michael and Joseph and their mother Valerie. Patricia lost her dear companion Pasquale "Pat" Matteo in 1996.
Her living siblings are Berniece Cottrell of Browns Mills, Eugene (and Gloria) McGough of Wildwood, Thomas (and Jackie) McGough of Moorestown, Nicholas (and Fran) McGough of Las Vegas, NV and Ellen (and Pete) Peterson of Laconia, NH.
She was blessed with many nieces and nephews and was cared for constantly by her son Stan, her late sister Elaine's daughter, Debby Strickland of Cape May. During her illness Patricia also had the loving care of her daughter-in-law Valerie Sperlak of West Cape May, close friends Joan Betty Myrden, Dolores, Terri and Laura, and cousins Lee, Sandy, Eileen, Danny, Annie and Alexis. The family extends its thanks to so many others who helped with cooking, cleaning and company.
There will be a service on Saturday, September 4, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at The Veterans cemetery in Cape May Court House. MOORE, LAURA, 91 - of North Cape May, died on August 28, 2004 at Victoria Manor Nursing Home. Born on July 23, 1913 in Camden, she moved to Wildwood with husband, Earl, in 1945. She was the owner/ operator of two Laura's Sub Shops from 1946-1950. She was the owner, with husband, Earl, of Conshohocken Apt. House on Oak Ave., Wildwood from 1950-1970. She was also the owner with husband, Earl, of General Machine Shop from 1970-1972. Mrs. Moore was past president of Golden Age Club of Wildwood, past president of Cape May County Women's Republican Club, Past President's Club, member of Middle Twp. Republican Club, was active in Women's Republican Club of Wildwood, charter and life member of Deborah Hospital, Wildwood Chapter, Wildwood Chapter O.E.S., and Cedarettes Cape May Co. Club. For many years she was a group tour leader for Lion Tours, donating her salary to various organizations. Surviving are her son, Earl R. and wife Frances Moore; grandchildren, Earl Steven Moore and Carolan Moore Toft; great grandchildren, Nathaniel Toft, Rachael Toft, Derek Moore, Kyle Moore and Chloe Moore. There will be a viewing on Wednesday from 10-11 a.m. at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Cold Spring cemetery.
MILLER, ROSEMARIE M., 18 - of Villas, died on Saturday, August 28, 2004 at Children's Hospital, Phil, PA after a courageous battle with leukemia. Born in Atlantic City, she was a lifelong area resident. She was a member of St. Raymond's Parish Youth Group. She was a graduate of Wildwood Catholic High School Class 2004 and was employed by the Lobster House, Cape May. She was looking forward to joining the Class of 2008, Seton Hall University, where she intended on majoring in nursing. Her dream was to be a pediatric oncology nurse. Surviving are her parents, James and Suzanne Miller, a sister, Alana and a brother, Liam, both at home. Mass of Resurrection will be held on Friday, 11 AM at St. Raymond's Church, Bayshore and Ocean Ave., Villas, where friends may call after 10AM. Burial will be private. LUTGEN, RICHARD L., 73 - went home to be with the Lord suddenly on Sunday, August 29, 2004 at the Mainland Hospital in Galloway Twp. Born in Salamanca, NY he has lived in Egg Harbor City for the past eight years, moving there from Marlton. He is the son of the late Ida & Harold Lutgen. A retired Production Planning Supervisor with ESCO, (formerly Wicks and Gulf & Western) in Chester, PA, he retired in 1996 after being with the company for over 23 years, he was a member of the Marlton United Methodist Church and a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Korean War. He is the beloved husband of Jean (nee Cox) Lutgen and the loving father of Sheryl A. Dennis and her husband Charles of Easthampton, June L. DiTullio and her husband Charles of Mt. Laurel, Ronald L. and his wife Karen of Egg Harbor City and Keith R. and his wife Darla of Marlton. He is also survived by his brother David McDermott of NY, his sister Jane McDermott of Ohio and also 11 grandchildren.
