EISELE, BETTY LYON, 80 - of Leesburg, passed away early Saturday morning in the Cumberland Manor Nursing Home. She was born in Camden, the daughter of the late Vernon and Zelda Lyon. She was the wife of the late William J. Eisele, Sr. who died in 2001. She was a resident of Leesburg for over sixty years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Merchantville and attended the Leesburg United Methodist Church.
Betty was a homemaker most of her life, but had been employed for several years as a secretary at the Delaware Bay Shipbuilding Co. in Leesburg. She and her husband enjoyed traveling, having made cross country trips by car, cruises to Alaska and to Europe.
She is survived by two sons, William J., Jr., and wife Cheryle of Petersburg, Robert A. Sr. and wife Pat of Leesburg, daughter Betsy Bassett and husband Pete of Leesburg, five grandchildren, William J., III and wife Lisa, Port Elizabeth, Melissa Eisele-Kaplan and husband Scott, Tarrytown, NY, Rebecca J. (BJ) Eisele, Leesburg, Robert A. Eisele, Jr. and wife Dawn, Laurel Lake, James W. Eisele and wife Jamie Lynn, Dorchester, seven great grandchildren, William J., IV, and Luke S. Eisele, Zoe and Tess Kaplan, Ashley and Sasha Earl, and Katie Lynn Eisele. One brother Vernon Lyon, Del Haven, and one sister Myrna Mogck, Pennsauken.
A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date by the Hoffman Funeral Homes of Port Norris and Leesburg.
Memorial donation may be made in lieu of flowers to the Katie Lynn Eisele Leukemia Fund, c/o Betsy Bassett, PO Box 93, Leesburg, NJ 08327.

SURKIN, JUDI ANN, 46 - of Hammonton, died Sunday at home. Born in Reading, PA she lived in this area for 23 years. Judi was a financial manager for Atlantic Coast Allies in Egg Harbor City. She is survived by her daughter: Toni Surkin of Hammonton; her mother: Nancy M Ford of Phila., PA; her father: Kenneth C. Steiner, Sr. and his wife Anita of Blandon; her maternal grandfather: Carl J Steiner of Leesport, PA; four brothers: Kenneth C. Steiner, Jr of East Earl, PA, Karl Steiner of Goldsboro, NC, Robert Miller of East Earl, PA, Jeff Steiner of Blandon; one aunt: Sandy Miller of Leesport. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday 7:30 p.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home, 202 S. Third St. Hammonton, where relatives and friends may call 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Tori Surkin Trust Fund C/O Nancy M. Ford P.O. Box 16, Elwood, NJ 08217.

GREENBAUM, RUTH LEE, 79 - of Ventnor City, passed away Monday at the Atlantic City Medical Center in Galloway Township. Born in Philadelphia, she was an area resident most of her life graduating from Atlantic City High School.
Mrs. Greenbaum was a well known gemologist and was the owner of Lee Jewelers in Atlantic City and also at her mainland location, She was a truly loving and endearing woman to her family, friends and former employees.
She worked for Bernie Robbins Jewelers in Somers Point after selling her own business.
Surviving are her husband Martin; loving children Cy Greenbaum (Sue), Andrea Goldman (Jeff); sister-in-law Ruth Kauffman; nephew Dr. James Kauffman (April); and grandson Scott Greenbaum.
Mrs. Greenbaum was a member of ORT and Beth Judah Synagogue in Ventnor City.
Graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at Rodef Sholom cemetery in Egg Harbor Township.
Donations may be made to Beth Judah Synagogue in Ventnor or to the Seashore Garden Living Center in Galloway Township.
Arrangements are by the Roth-Goldsteins Chapel of Atlantic City

JOHNSON, MABEL B., 87 - of Atlantic City, died on Thursday, January 8, 2004 in Chambersburg, PA.
She is survived by one son, Charles Johnson of Chambersburg; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road Chambersburg, PA, with funeral services beginning at 2:00 p.m.

LaMARCHE, SR., ELMER F., 83 - of Vineland, passed away Sunday evening at his late residence.
Born in Worcester, MA, he was raised in Philadelphia and was a resident of Vineland for the past 27 years.
Elmer was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army and Merchant Marines.
He owned and operated Elmer & Al's Auto Repair, Philadelphia, PA, retiring in 1975. He then was employed by Stinger Trucking Co. and later the maintenance dept. at the Cedar Crest Trailer Park.
He was an avid deep sea fisherman on his boat, Matty R. He also was a cabinet maker and enjoyed working in his yard.
Elmer was a devoted father, grandfather, and friend.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 1019 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Friends will be received on Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to South Jersey Hospice Care, 2848 S. Delsea Dr., Vineland, NJ 08360.

ROSEMAN, SEYMOUR C. "Sy", 72 - of Linwood, passed away on January 17, 2004. Born in Philadelphia, he was pre-deceased by his beloved parents, Helen and Harry Roseman. Mr. Roseman was a graduate of Temple University and served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was very much involved with the opening of the Spectrum in Philadelphia and he also worked for a number of years under Mayor Rizzo. A sportswriter for the Philadelphia Inquirer for many years, he was a long time member of the Sportswriters Association of Philadelphia. Upon moving to the Jersey shore, he worked at Resorts as Director of Entertainment and as Public Relations Director for the International Boxing Federation. In his later years he worked in the simulcast department at Caesars. Mr. Roseman is survived by his loving wife, Maureen, along with her three children and five grandchildren; his sister, Irene Harrison and his brother, Samuel Roseman. He will be deeply missed. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Rodef Sholom cemetery in Cardiff. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Seashore Gardens, 22 W. Jimmie Leeds Rd., Galloway Township, NJ 08205. Arrangements Roth-Goldsteins' Memorial Chapel, Atlantic City.

PAIGE, JR., BRUCE "SKIP", "DUMP - of Atlantic City, was born June12, 1986. He departed this life, Wednesday, January 21, 2004, in Ventnor. Skip was a product of the Atlantic City School System, where he was a member of the Senior Class of 2004.
He was a former member of ACHS Crew Team, and also a former member of the ROTC Program. As a youngster, Skip participated in the Atlantic City Dolphins Football League, along with the Atlantic City PAL Softball Team, receiving numerous awards.
Skip was an avid skater which began with roller skating and ice skating, and led up to his passion for skateboarding. Brigantine Skate Park was a familiar place of practice where he perfected his skateboarding skills, and soared to great heights.
Skip would travel throughout the area competing in various skateboarding events. During his skateboarding adventures, Skip amassed a diverse group of friends from near and far. In addition to his athletic abilities, Skip was a computer hobbyist, networking and surfing the Internet, and building numerous loyal friends.
Skip was a member of St. James AME Church. He was also a member of the "Family to Family" program; a member of the "Crossroads" Youth Program of Brigantine Presbyterian Church, where he participated in the Teen Dances and plays.
Skip is survived by: his mother, Jill Jones of Atlantic City, and her companion, Larry Turner; his father, Bruce Paige, Sr. of Philadelphia; three sisters, Phyllis Bagby of North Carolina, Kwididrah Profit and Kwasatiriah Wise both of Atlantic City; one brother, Mekhi Bishop of Atlantic City; two uncles; Christopher Scott of Pleasantville, and "Peanut" Paige of Philadelphia; eight aunts, Faustine Smith of Absecon, Adelaide Alexander and Janet Lewis, both of Atlantic City, Marlene Duck and Roberta Prichett, both of Philadelphia, Elizabeth Day of Baltimore, Tracey Paige and Candy Paige, both of Philadelphia; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2004, at St. James AME Church, New York and Arctic Avenues, where friends may call from 9 a.m. Additionally, friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2004, at St. James AME Church. Burial will follow services Friday, in the Atlantic City cemetery, Pleasantville. Arrangements entrusted to Greenidge Funeral Home.

EISENHOWER, DOROTHY HOFFMAN FISHER - went home to be with the Lord on December 12, 2003 at Lucy Corr Nursing Home in Chesterfield, VA, surrounded by loving family members.
She was born and raised in Norristown, PA, where she graduated from A.D. Eisenhower High School, attended Wheaton College in Norton, MA and graduated with a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Simmons College in Boston, MA. She married James S.D. Eisenhower, Jr., M.D. and moved to Wildwood in 1944 where she and her husband established a medical practice.
Mrs. Eisenhower served her Lord and Savior at First Presbyterian Church of Wildwood, and was active as a choir member, pianist, Sunday School teacher and 26 years, Deacon and Elder.
She was the first president and served on the Board of Directors and was a life member of the Auxiliary to the Burdette Tomlin Hospital in Cape May Court House. She served as State Chairman of the Rural Health Committee for the Auxiliary to the New Jersey Medical Society, Corresponding Secretary and Director.
Mrs. Eisenhower was a life member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, served as Regent and Chaplain of the Cape May Patriots Chapter and was a member of the Ex-Regent's Club. She was also a life member of the Hugenot Society of Pennsylvania and National Society of the Colonial Dames of America.
A musician, she played the piano, and participated with numerous musical organizations in South Jersey as a percussionist.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James S.D. Eisenhower, Jr., M.D. and is survived by three children, James S.D. Eisenhower, III, Elizabeth E. Wojcik and Susanna Eisenhower-Turner, M.D.; seven grandchildren, Katherine E. McManners, Matthew J. Eisenhower, Rebecca C. Eisenhower, Laura E. Wojcik, Robert M. Wojcik, Hilary S. Turner and Eric D. Turner, Jr.; and two great grandchildren, Joshua M. Eisenhower and Nathan J. Eisenhower.
A Memorial Service will be held on February 21 at the First Presbyterian Church of Wildwood, and the family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Wildwood.

JONES, SR., THOMAS K., 72 - of West Cape May, died Saturday in Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Cape May Court House.
Mr. Jones was born in Cape May, and was a lifetime resident.
He was a retired bartender. He worked for 30 years at Henny's Restaurant in Stone Harbor. He also worked in the Cape May area including at the old Neptune Bar.
He attended Cape May High School. He was an Army veteran. He was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, Cape May.
Mr. Jones is survived by two daughters, Christine (and Daniel) Anderson, Karen (and Bruce) Burroughs and one son, Thomas K. Jones, Jr., all of West Cape May; two sisters, Mary (and Jack) Diehl of Freehold, Madeline Harshman of Cape May; two grandsons, Daniel (and Jennifer) Anderson of Beachwood, Ryan (and Katrina) Anderson of England; one great grandchild, Callum Anderson; niece and nephews, John, Michael, and Connie; and his beloved dog, Pepper.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 11 AM in Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 535 Washington St., Cape May. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 9:30 AM to 11 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery, Cape May.
Donations may be made in his memory to: Our Lady Star of the Sea Church or to Love of Linda Cancer Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260.

ERRICKSON, RICHARD BARRETT 78 - a retired teacher, died Thursday, January 22, 2004 in Fort Worth, Texas. He had been battling an infection that had developed following abdominal surgery in December.
Born in Millville in 1925, he was a long-time resident of south Jersey. In 1998 he moved to Texas to be near his daughter and her family. Mr. Errickson served two years in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He earned his B.S. from Trenton State Teachers College in 1950 and his Master's degree from Rutgers University in 1952. Mr. Errickson worked for the New Jersey public school system, both in administration and as a teacher, for over 35 years. Hobbies included hunting, license plate collecting, old cars, and traveling. His wife of 32 years, Doris (Gavenda) Errickson, died of cancer in 1982.
Survivors: Mr. Errickson is survived by two sons, Robert B. Errickson of Winter Haven, FL and Edward R. Errickson of Hatboro, PA; a daughter, Ruth Williams, of Bedford, TX; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Burial will be at Mt. Pleasant cemetery in Millville, NJ.
