Tozer, Lorraine Kalodye
Lorraine Kalodye Tozer 67, of Sebring, FL and formerly of Villas, NJ, passed away on Thusrday, May 6, 2010, at Florida Hospital, Orlando from a battle of cancer. She was born ini Rochelle Park, NJ and was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Kalodye.
Lorraine was a senior correctional officer at Bayside State Prison retiriing in 1994. She was also a volunteer for several agencies such as Cara, Dennis Township Fire Police, Belleplain Rescue Squad and the first woman chief of Woodbine Rescue. She was an advisor for the Explorer Post for Middle Township Police Department; the Dennis Township PTA; a truant officer for the Dennis Township Elementary School ; assistant deputy clerk for the Dennis Township Court and an EMT for Family Ambulance Corps and was a Sunday School Teacher for St. Casimir's R.C. Church.
She is survived by children: Stanley and wife, Enid of Sebring, FL; Edwin, Jr of Las Vegas, NV; Marc of Atlanta, GA; Theresa Jacobs and husband, James of Orlando, FL and Michele Case of Cape May; brother, Michael Kalodye and wife Xandra of Australia; god daughter, Theresa Threan Carr of Cape May Court House; and grandchildren: Trisha Gallimore and fiance, Matt Corlett; Robert and Stacey Gallimore of Sebring, FL; Ryan Tozer of CT; Kaitlyn, Kelly and Kelsey Case of Woodstown and great grandson, Jakob Corlett of Sebring FL
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Edwin H.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010, at 11 am. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ where friends may visit 10 to 11 am. Interment will be in Union cemetery.
Wilkinson, Louise E.
Wilkinson, Louise Emma, 99 ½, formerly of Bethlehem, PA, passed away May 5, 2010 in her home in the care of her nephew Clinton H. Wilkinson and Pam Martinez, a niece of Louise's brother's wife, in Cape May Court House where she had lived for 12 years. She was a daughter of the late Dr. Charles H. Wilkinson, a Bethlehem dentist born in Syracuse, NY who had just started his practice at the time, and Annette G. MacNutt of Philadelphia, PA. Louise attended Moravian Seminary in Bethlehem, and afterward she studied ballet and acrobatics as well as choreography under numerous prominent teachers such as Ned Weyburn, Chalif, Albertieri, Creo and others, and appeared as a Principal and Solo dancer in opera, concert and vaudeville. She was appearing as a member of the vaudeville dance troupe Billy Wells and the Four Fays, when her mother died and Louise came home to take care of her much younger brother. She also ran her own dance studio in Bethlehem for a time. Louise lived the remainder of her life in Bethlehem and then in Avalon, where she cared for her father until his death in 1981, and finally in Cape May Court House. Louise had an abiding interest in animals and nature and took in and cared for many strays.
She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Attorney Charles A. Wilkinson and his wife Alyce of Bethlehem, as well as her three nephews and their families: Paul Wilkinson of Seattle, WA, Dr. C. Corbett Wilkinson a surgeon in Denver, CO, and Attorney Clinton H. Wilkinson in Bethlehem, all of whom Louise lovingly cared for when young while their mother was at work.
Funeral Services will be at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made in Louise's memory to the Animal Welfare Society of Cape May County, 40 Rt. 47 South, Dias Creek, NJ 08210.
Caracciolo, Angelo J.
Angelo J. Caracciolo, 69, of Stone Harbor, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on Saturday, May 1, 2010. Born in Hammonton, NJ to the late Angelo J. and Susie C. (Caporale) Caracciolo, he has lived in Stone Harbor since 1995 after moving from Blackwood. He was a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and of the New Jersey Society of Professional Land Surveyors. He loved the water and sunset photography. He enjoyed traveling and visited six of the seven continents.
Mr. Caracciolo is survived by his wife, Kathryn F. (DiRosa) Caracciolo; his four children, Angelo J. Caracciolo, III, Christine (Ben) Schiavone, Rocco (Loma) Caracciolo, and Lisa Ann (Tim) Cottrell; his brother Joe (Jeanne) Caracciolo; his sister, Wendy Boyer; his eight grandchildren, Warren, Ravae, Blythe, Caden, Nicole, Richard, Connor, and Sean; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Church, 1739 Ferry Avenue, Camden, NJ 08104 or to a charity of one's choice.
Mills, Jr., James Warren
James Warren Mills, Jr., age 77, of Swainton, NJ, died peacefully and surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, May 1, 2010, at home.
He was born in Pedricktown, NJ, the son of the late James W., Sr. and Rose Mills and lived in Cape May County since 1967 having lived in Ocean City and Tuckahoe. He was a retired cook at the Woodbine Development Center; he formerly owned Mills' Restaurant in Ocean City, NJ. He served in the US Army during the Korean War.
Jim was a member of the Seaville Methodist Church; a member of the V.F.W. of Belleplain and enjoyed antique cars, birdwatching and working with his hands. In his youth, he was a member of the Boy Scouts.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy M.; a son, Rodney J. of Farmville, VA; a daughter, Mandy L. Gibbs (Brian) of York PA; children of his wife, Dorothy: Sharon L. Conley (Lew); Dorothy L. Scheufele (Joseph); Colleen L. Adams and Michael B. Laughlin (Tina); sister, Florence Masterpolitto; two grandchildren, Kendrick Gibbs and Michele Mills; ten step grandchildren including caregiver and granddaughter, Erin Smith; eight great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Thomas and Charles Mills and a sister, Joan Smith.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the Seaville Methodist Church, Seaville, NJ, where friends may visit from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Church cemetery. Amundsen, Janice Dee
Janice Dee Amundsen, 67, of Cape May Court House, NJ, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, April 30, 2010, after succumbing to complications of a chemotheraphy treatment for cancer. She had fought her cancer valiantly for six years.
Dee was born in North Wildwood, NJ, on April 8, 1943, the daughter of the late Donald K. and Dorothy E. Hutchinson Mathis and lived in Trenton during her grade school years, returning to North Wildwood in the late 1950's. She graduated from Wildwood High School in 1961.
She always had a love for children, and in her early married years ran a nursery school in her home from which many of her pupils went on to become honor students.
Before her retirement, Dee was employed by the Middle Township School System for 25 years as a teacher's aide. She was much loved by her fellow workers and students alike.
She loved her church, traveling, plays, reading, entertaining her grandchildren, gardening and going out with the girls.
Dee was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cape May Court House for 33 years, serving on the Board of Christian Education, the Fellowship Committee, a Sunday School Teacher, Pioneer Girls leader, choir member, and was involved with many other church committees and functions.
Dee is survived by her huband of 48 years, Phillip C.; her son, Phillip C., Jr. (Christine) of Walden, NY; her daughter, Kimberly A. Church (Robert) of Goshen and Pamela L. Fulk of North Cape May; her sister, Ruthann Pohl (William) of Somerville and her five grandchildren: Breanna and Scott Fulk; Robbie Church and Jenalee and Jack Amundsen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald H. and Conrad K. Mathis.
Funeral services for Dee will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 101 South Main Street, Cape May Court House, NJ, where friends may visit on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, May 5, 2010, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the Baptist cemetery.

Press, III, John R.
Press, John R. III, 42, of Philadelphia passed away on Friday, April 30, 2010. Born in Fort Lauderdale, FL to John Press Jr. and Georgeann Kelleher Walker, he worked in construction for J.F. Builders in Sea Isle City before moving to Philadelphia 10 years ago.
John is survived by his children, Amanda and Steven of Seaville; his father, John Press Jr.; sisters, Anne Naticchione of Seaville, Doreen Press of Glassboro, and Cindy Press of Vineland; fiancée Adele Schweitzer of Philadelphia; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother and his stepfather Leonard Walker.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. at Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Interment is private. Risley, Sr., Charles M.
Charles M. Risley, Sr., 53, of Rio Grande, passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010. He was born in Sea Isle City to Floran and Frances (Livingston) Risley and was a lifetime resident of this area.
Mr. Risley is survived by his sons, Chuck M. Risley, Jr., Jason Risley, and James Risley; his brother, James Risley; his grandson, Jason; and many nieces, nephews, and in laws. He was preceded in death by his wife, Roseanne Lee Risley on June 21, 2009.
Funeral services will be private.

Mary Dillon, 69, of Wildwood Crest, NJ passed away on Tuesday, April, 26, 2010. Born in Port of Spain, Trinidad, she worked as a Nurse's Aid for South Jersey Homecare.

Frankland, Mary Agnes
Mary Agnes Frankland, age 82 years, of Avalon, NJ, died on Monday, April 26, 2010 at the Crest Haven Nursing Home, Cape May Court House, NJ. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Andrew Hilbert and Emilia Brecchetto, she has lived here since 1981 coming from Runnemede, NJ. She was a member of Maris Stella Church and their Rosary Group, Avalon Garden & Civic Clubs and the Alumni Association of West Catholic Girls High School Class of 1945. She was preceded in death by her husband Pearson Frankland on July 29, 2008.
She is survived by her three children; Janet Hunter of Southampton, NJ, Susan Verzella of Collingswood, NJ, and Robert A. of Centre, AL, six grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
Funeral Liturgy will be said 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Maris Stella Church, 50th Street and Dune Drive, Avalon, NJ, where relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment in Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House, NJ.

Riggins, Sr., Arthur Espin
Arthur Espin Riggins, Sr., 74, of Dennisville, passed away on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at the Ocean View Center. Born in Camden to the late Walter and Elizabeth Riggins, he lived here for 38 years after moving from Delair. He was formerly employed at Chapman Ford.
Mr. Riggins is survived by his children, Arthur Riggins, Jr., Donna Camp, Dianna Hills, Norman Riggins, and Kathleen Huber; his brothers, Robert Riggins and Jack Whitehead; his nine grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Mitchell, Frances Margaret
Frances Margaret Mitchell, 89, of Swainton and Wildwood Crest, died peacefully at home in the presence of her loving family on Friday, April 23, 2010. Born in Gloucester to the late William and Frances (Thaete) Hoyle, she was a longtime resident of Cape May County. She was a graduate and valedictorian of Gloucester Catholic High School, Class of 1937. She was a faithful member of Our Lady of the Angels Church. She was a member of the Wildwood Civic Club, the Greater Wildwood Yacht Club, various AARP clubs, the Seniors Clubs of Sea Isle City, Dennisville, and Middle Township, the Red Hat Society, the Cape May County Historical Museum, and the Ladies Auxiliary of Asbury Methodist Church. An avid reader, she enjoyed traveling and was a fervent Phillies fan. She is remembered as an extraordinary homemaker who hosted countless affairs for family and friends at her beloved Bay Acres farmhouse.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her children, William (Helen), Ellen (Ronald) Becker, and Harry (Judy) Mitchell, Jr; her eight grandchildren, Linda (Michael) Diantonio, Lisa Mitchell, DeAnne (Thomas) Carr, Ronald (Gina) Becker, Jr., Kevin (Michelle) Mitchell, Patrick Mitchell, Christopher Mitchell, and Jeffrey Mitchell; and her ten great grandchildren, Michael, Julian, Gabriel, Elijah, Hailey, Tommy, Austin, Angela, Brielle, and Ciara. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Harry A. Mitchell, Sr., on December 27, 1997, and her brother William Hoyle.

Ellis, Eunice Irene
Eunice Irene Ellis nee McIntosh, 92, of Ocean View, NJ went to be with her Lord on April 22, 2010. She was born in Lenox, TN and lived here since 1976, moving from Newark and Long Branch. She was a loving and caring mother, mother-in-law and grandmother.
She was a true southern lady whose mission was helping and taking care of others all her life. Eunice never said a bad word about anyone and always had a smile for everyone. She was the oldest living member of the Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Affa and her husband, Richard; a sister, Juanita Welsh of Burlington; four grandchildren: Robert (Karen) Affa of Dennisville; Michael (Nancy) Arnold of Cincinnati, OH; Irene (John) Walsh of Weatherby, PA and Susan (James) Egloff of Pinckneyville, IL; six great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, E. Cooper and Myrtle (Savage) McIntosh; her husband, Robert A.; son, Robert E.; brother, Harold and sister, Betty.
