Klein, Eugene L.
Navy

Klein, Eugene (Gene), 88, of Stone Harbor passed away on Friday, November 19, 2010. Born in Spokane, WA to Albert and Dora Klein, he grew up in Seattle before living in Japan, Virginia, Florida, and eventually settling in Stone Harbor in 2005. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and later worked for RCA for 25 years as an electrical engineer. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Washington DC and was very active with the Stone Harbor Museum. He sang in his church choirs for over 50 years.

Gene is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; son Dr. David Klein of Indiana; daughter Kathy of Merchantville; stepdaughters Sue DeRose of Swainton and Sandy Bowden of Mahwah; brother Dick of Washington; sisters Margaret Widman and Polly Little of Washington and Elle Lacques of Oregon; his grandchildren Leslie and Shelly, Erik and Adam, and Charles and John; as well as 7 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his son Rudy and his brothers Harold and Don.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, Route 9 and Church St. in Cape May Court House, NJ 08210. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church or to the Stone Harbor Museum, 235 93rd Street, Stone Harbor, NJ 08247.

Winter, Jane M.

Jane M. Winter, 85, of Rio Grande, passed away on Friday, November 19, 2010 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John C. and Martha Matilda (Haines) Winter, she moved here over 35 years ago from Orlando, FL. She attended the Lower Township Senior Center at the airport in Erma.

Miss Winter is survived by her sister in law, Joyce Winter, whom she called "Mom Joyce", of Rio Grande; many nieces and nephews; and several great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces, and great great nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, John C. Winter, Sr.

Services will be private at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Gotha, FL. Memorial donations may by made to Crest Haven Nursing Home - Alzheimer's Unit, 4 Moore Road, DN 619, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Pope, Ione M.

Ione M. Pope, age 97, of Stone Harbor, died on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Loyalton of Cape May. Born in Rochester, NH, she has lived here since 1971 coming from Japan. She was a Computer Analyst for the United States Government Department of Defense in Tokyo, Japan, an Army veteran of WW II and member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Stone Harbor.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas L. Pope, her mother Eva Leavitt Hill, father Harry Hill, her brother George Hill and sister Josephine Schreckengaust. A memorial service in her honor will be held 3:00 pm, Saturday, December 11, 2010 at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 9425 Third Avenue, Stone Harbor, NJ 08247. Interment was private.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Church.

Gibbs, Claudie E.

Gibbs, Claudie E., Sr., 70, of Wildwood went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday afternoon, November 17, 2010 in Cape Regional Medical Center in Cape May Court House after a brief illness, surrounded by his family.

Claudie was born in Engelhard, NC to the late James Earl and Mary Elsie Gibbs. He is survived by son, Claude E. Gibbs Jr., of Pomfret, MD; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Homegoing Services will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at Christ Gospel Love Center in Whitesboro, N.J., where viewing will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held in Mount Olive Baptist cemetery in Swainton.

DiFulgo, Nicholas James

Nicholas James DiFulgo, age 70 years, of Stone Harbor, NJ, died peacefully at his home. He was born in Philadelphia to the late Joseph & Phyllis (nee Nuzzo) DiFulgo. He has lived here in Stone Harbor coming from West Wildwood and Wildwood. He was a EMT for the Avalon Rescue Squad, a volunteer member with the Stone Harbor & Avalon Fire/Rescue, member of the Philadelphia Steel Workers, the American Legion of Stone Harbor and an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his two sons; Nicholas "Beaner" DiFulgo & Antony DiFulgo both of Del Haven at home with their mother Dottie DiFulgo. He leaves many friends especially Keith & Debbie Malantonio.

Graveside service 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Seaside cemetery, Palermo. In lieu of flowers donations to the memorial college fund for his sons may be sent directly to the family at their home.

Esher, Wendy S.

Wendy S. Esher, 47, of Cape May Court House, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2010. She was born in Dover, DE and moved to Cape May Court House in 1978 after living in Wildwood Crest. She formerly was a preschool teacher at Cape Christian Academy. She was a member of The Lighthouse Church.

Wendy is survived by her father, Warren W. Esher; her sisters, Karen Lange, Robin Conley, and Julie Alghrary; her nieces and nephews, Tim, David, and Rebecca Lange, Micah, Allison, and Nathaniel Conley, and Josiah and Joanna Alghrary; and her great nephew, Evan Lange. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda R. Esher on March 28, 2010.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at The Lighthouse Church, 1248 Route 9 South, Cape May Court House, where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Memorial donations may be made to The Lighthouse Church, 1248 Route 9 South, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

Bono, Patrick John

Patrick John Bono, age 54 years, of North Wildwood, NJ, died peacefully at home with his family close at his side, on Saturday, November 13, 2010. Patrick was born in Lansdowne, PA to the late Marie (nee Marella) and Ernest Bono. He has lived here since 1992 coming from Philadelphia, PA. He was employed by Home Depot of Cape May County as a merchandiser for the past 5 years. He was a member of St. Ann's Church, active member of the Philadelphia Food Distribution Center, past Pee Wee Football Coach in Wildwood and was a huge Philadelphia sports team fan. He was a true family man who loved and actively supported all aspects of his children's life aspirations. He considered all Home Depot employees as his extended family. All who knew and loved him will miss him.

He is survived by his devoted wife Nancy (nee DiNardo) Bono, his son Zachary Bono & daughter Samantha Bono, all at home in North Wildwood. He is also survived by his two brothers Ernest "Chi" and his wife Rita Bono of Florida and Gerry and his wife Linda Bono of Philadelphia, PA.

Funeral Liturgy will be said 11:00 AM Friday, November 19, 2010 at Notre Dame De La Mer Parish, St. Ann's Church, 2901 Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood, NJ 08260, where relatives and friends may call after 9:00 AM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to: American Brain Tumor Association, 2720 So. River Rd., #146, Des Plaines, IL 60018.

Adams, Lois Elaine

Lois Elaine Adams, age 79 years, of North Wildwood, NJ died peacefully at her home on Friday, November 12, 2010. Lois was born in National Park, NJ to the late Mary E. (nee Pauley) and Edwin Duer. She moved down here as a child along with her parents.

She was an Outside Sales Representative for Sears Roebuck & Company in both Wildwood & Cape May Court House. She cherished spending time with her loving family, crocheting baby blankets and Trump Marina Casino Slots. She was a proud mother, grand mother, great & great great grandmother. She was a past member of the North Wildwood Moose Ladies Auxilliary and was a 4 H Leader. Lois enjoyed walking on the beach and you may remember seeing her driving the "Tram Car" on the Wildwood Boardwalk.

She is survived by her son David and his wife Wendy Adams, her four daughters; Mary and her husband Raymond Rodgers, Lois Quigley, Charlene McPherson & Darleen and her husband Joseph Harris, her brother Edwin and his wife Pat Duer, her sister Roberta and her husband William Nelson, eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great great grand son. Lois was preceded in death by her two son in laws; Edward Quigley & Michael Mc Pherson.

Funeral service and interment is private. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to: Love of Linda Cancer Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260.

Pistilli, Clorinda

PISTILLI, CLORINDA, age 83, a former resident of Belleplain and Eldora, NJ, died on Saturday, November 6, 2010, at the home of her son, Valentino in Vineland, NJ where she lived for the past ten years.

She was born in Italy the daughter of the late Valentino amd Giovinna D'Nunzio Di Giambatista.

She was retired from the Housekeeping Department of the Woodbine Developmental Center. She is survived by her son, Valentino P. (Lynne) of Vineland; two daughters: Maria Pistilli of Plymouth Meeting, PA and Filomena Pistilli Wyatt (Wayne) of Asheboro, NC; her grandchildren: Julie Pistilli Dalton (Eric); Clorinda Pistilli Nissenzone (Matt); Christa Wyatt Daniels ( Dustin) and Megan and Kathleen Wyatt; her great grandchildren: Shelby and Jesse Dalton and Aiden Nissenzone and several sisters and one brother in Italy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Umberto Victor in 1985 and two daughters, Lucina and Rosa.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 11, 2010, from 10 to 11 am at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ followed by services at 11 am. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, 2600 Network Blvd., Suite 300, Frisco, TX 75034.

Quinn, Patricia Louise

Quinn, Patricia Louise, 72, of Clermont, NJ, passed away on November 4, 2010 at her home. During her final days she was surrounded by her loving family and devoted friends. She fought her illness with bravery and dignity, maintaining a spiritual strength that never faltered. With optimism and cheerfulness so characteristic of her, she passed on unafraid to her next journey.

Patricia was a loving wife, a wonderful mother devoted to her family, a doting grandmother, a great homemaker and a friend to many; her presence will be sincerely missed by a legion of friends whom she endeared herself.

Born in Brooklyn, NY to Marion and Frank Wagner, she was employed by the Lipton Tea Company in New York City where she met her husband William Quinn III and enjoyed 51 wonderful years together. As a homemaker she held many part-time jobs as a sales associate. Together they raised two children and after her husband's retirement, they moved to Clermont and summers on the beach.

Patricia was very active in every community organization she joined. As a member of St. Joseph's Church, she belonged to the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, served on the Eucharistic Minister Program and cooked meals for families that needed assistance. She was a driver for the Cancer Society, a member of both the Sea Isle City Garden Club and the local AARP group. She was also a member of the Lady Ravens social group and a Charter Member of the Greater Cape May Elk's Lodge #2839. Along with her husband, she was an avid traveler. They visited over forty countries together and a majority of the United States. Her love for traveling led to her hobby of scrap-booking but she also found time for sewing, cooking, canning and helping out in the garden.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband Bill, her son William, her daughter Trisha Haskell Galvin and her husband John, and her two grandchildren Andrew and Steven Haskell. They will always remember their grandmother's smile and cheery disposition.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 4301 Landis Avenue, Sea Isle, NJ 08243. Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the St. Joseph's Church Building Fund, the Dennis Township Rescue Squad or the SIC Rescue Squad.

Logue, Weyland D.

LOGUE, WEYLAND D., age 78, of Cape May Court House, NJ, died on Wednesday, November 3, 2010, at the Cape Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Wilmot, South Dakota and lived in West Virginia until he moved to this area three years ago.

He retired from the United States Coast Guard as a Chief Warrant Officer 4th Class after thirty years of service.

He is survived by three daughters: Deanna M. (Dennis) Lillemon; Denise A. Pote and Lisa D. (Tom) Hawk; a sister, Shirley Lindquist and seven grandchildren, Dennis, Derek, Ryan, Joseph, Rachel, Jacqueline and Andrew.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gianna; a son-in-law, Gary J. Pote and a granddaughter, Jenna. At Mr.

Logue's request, there will not be any funeral service.

Stewart, Lawrence Hunter

STEWART, LAWRENCE HUNTER "LARRY", age 64, of Eldora, NJ, died at his home on Wednesday, November 3, 2010. He was born in Camden, NJ, and raised in Runnemede, NJ, the son of the late Lawrence H. and Lucille (Klischer) Stewart, Sr. He was a resident of Eldora (Dennis Twp.) for the past thirty-eight years.

He worked twenty-six years for the Grace Oil Company and was a seasonal employee for the Cape May County Mosquito Commission for the past ten years.

Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing and working in his vegetable garden.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia (nee Aupperle); two daugthers: Tami and husband, Jeffrey McCart of Dias Creek and Dawn and husband, Robert Caruso of Cape May Court House; seven grandchildren: Chelsie Nicholas, Cody Nicholas, Bryan Skill, Breanna Caruso, Wyatt McCart, Christina Oliver and J.J. McCart; three great grandchildren: Mia Nicholas, McKenna and Mason Oliver; several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews. .

A viewing will be held on Monday, November 8, 2010, 9:30 to 11:30 am, at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, NJ followed by a graveside service at 12 Noon at the Eldora Methodist cemetery, Route 47, Eldora, NJ. Memorials may be made to the Immune Deficiency Foundation, 40 West Chesapeak Avneue, Suite 308, Towson, MD 21204.

Prosser, Dawn E.

Dawn E. Prosser, 55, of South Dennis, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Cape May Court House, she was a lifetime resident of this area. She was employed at Shore Title in Cape May Court House. She attended the Dennisville United Methodist Church and was a member of Delta Nu.

Mrs. Prosser is survived by her husband, William "Butch" Prosser; her children, Kyle, Kaitlyn, and Kolin; her parents, William and Bertha Henry; her cousin, Beth Merrick; and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her sister Barbara.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 1:30 p.m. Interment will be in Union cemetery, South Dennis.
