SCHILLIG LOUIS G. 69 of Palermo on Friday June 28 2002 at his home.
Born in Lucerne Switzerland he had lived in Clermont and Cedar Brook before moving to Palermo two years ago.
Mr. Schillig was co-owner with his family of Schillig's Black Horse Farm Restaurant in Mt. Ephraim and most recently had worked as a courier for Commerce Bank for seven years.
He is survived by his beloved wife Doris (nee Monroe) of Palermo; dear father of Teresa Eckert of Barrington and Patricia Bernetich of Haddonfield Pop to James Haines and Patricia Nicolle both of Cedar Brook. Also surviving are three brothers Francis X. of Ponta Gorda FL John J. of Las Vegas NV and Paul W. of Cherry Hill and 11 grandchildren.
Friends may call Tuesday evening from seven until nine o'clock at Christ the King Church Wood Lane Haddonfield and Wednesday morning from half past nine until half past ten o'clock at the Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo 644 South Shore Road Palermo.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock from Church of the Resurrection 200 West Tuckahoe Road Marmora. Military burial honors will follow Mass in Seaside cemetery Palermo.
The family suggests those who desire send memorial contributions to American Cancer Society Brain Cancer 626 North Shore Road Absecon NJ 08201.

RICH, WILLIAM I., "BILL", 54 - of Vineland, died Sunday, October 19, 2003, in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Camden.
He was a life long area resident. Bill was a graduate of St. Augustine Prep, Class of 1967 and attended Cumberland County College. He was a paid fireman for the City of Vineland Fire Department for 31 years, retiring in 2001. He was owner of Delvallo Lightning (Truck Club) and N.L.O.C., National Lighting Owners Club. He was a Cumberland County District Board member as of 2002 Bill coached Little League from 1989 to 1990 - East Vineland Little League. He was a member of the Millville Army Airfield Museum. He was an avid Nascar fan and an avid car enthusiast, especially his 1963 Falcon convertible. Bill especially loved his wife and family and his dogs, Sandy and Codi.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnn (Tuso) L. Rich, Vineland; son, William "Bill" Rich, Philadelphia, PA; daughter, Kelly Ann Marrero, Vineland; father and mother, William "Bill" and Blanche Rich, Vineland; brother, John Rich, Vineland; sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Chuck Stenberg, Vineland; step-daughter and husband, Rhonda and John Hennessy, Vineland; step-daughter and husband, Stephanie and James Murphy, Longwood, FL; step-son, James W. Gourlay IV, Longwood, FL; and three step-grandchildren.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 1010 East Landis Avenue, Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart cemetery, Vineland. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and again, Wednesday 8:15 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. at the Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland.

POOLE, NANCY J., 59 - of North Cape May, died on October 26, 2003 at Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital. Born in Washington State, she was a resident here for seven months. Before retiring, Mrs. Poole was a consultant for Verizon of Philadelphia, PA. She enjoyed fishing and shopping.
Surviving are a husband of 19 years, Eldon; a daughter. Lori and husband Joseph Gennello of Hamilton Square; and a grandson, Christopher.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, 1:00 p.m. at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May, where friends may call from 11:00 to 1:00. Burial will be private. Donations in her memory are requested to: American Cancer Society, 626 N. Shore Rd., Absecon, NJ 08201.

FIGUEROA, BABY XIERRA - of Pleasantville, returned to Heaven on Saturday, October 25, 2003 at the Shore Memorial Hospital. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated promptly at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 2651 Atlantic Avenue. DRAKE, KAREN R. (NEE McNANEY), 53 - of Galloway Township, passed away at home on Sunday, October 26, 2003.
Karen was a staff member at the Smithville Recreation Center and a former Secretary for the Absegami High School Marching Band Parents Association (2000).
She is predeceased by her parents, Al and Ruth McNaney. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Drake; her daughters: Lindsey A. Drake and Mary-Anne Drake, all of Galloway Twp. In addition, she is survived by her sister, Sandra McNaney of Reading, MA; her brothers: Al McNaney of Derry, NH, Richard McNaney of Reading, MA, and Michael McNaney of Shallotte, NC; and many other family members and friends.
Her viewing will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at Wimberg Funeral Home, 211 E. Great Creek Rd., Galloway. 609-641-0001. HIGHTOWER, DOROTHY, 66 - of Weymouth, died October 16, 2003 at home. Born in Eutawville, S.C., she was a resident of the Weymouth area for thirty four years. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Hammonton. Mrs. Hightower was predeceased by her parents: Willie and Ellen Williams; her infant daughter: Doretha Hightower; and her two brothers: Wilton Williams and Eddie Davis. She is survived by her husband: Herbert James Hightower; two daughters: Patricia Ann Hightower of Wilmington, DE, Sheila Lynn Gibbs of Mays Landing; two grandsons: Clayton Edward Smith of Rockville, S.C., and Jason Lamar Gibbs of Mays Landing; one granddaughter: Tanisha Lynn Price of Newark, DE; two sisters: Aires Walker and Virginia Simmons both of South Carolina; her great grandchildren: Jada, Koby, Aarron, Tiffany and Seth. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins as well as many loving in laws and wonderful devoted friends from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2003 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, N. Chew Road in Hammonton. Arrangements by the Carnesale Funeral Home in Hammonton. FRENDLICH, DAVID KEITH, 35 - of Millersville, MD formerly of Mays Landing, departed this life suddenly on October 31, 2003.
David was born on March 27, 1968 and resided in Mays Landing most of his life. David graduated from Oakcrest High School in 1985. He earned an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland. David was a Police Officer for the Anne Arundel County Maryland Police Department for the past 11 years. Previously, he worked as a Dispatcher for Stockton State College and then as a Police Officer for the Wildwood, N.J. Police Department. Prior to joining Anne Arundel County's Police Force, David served as a Police Officer for the United States Pentagon. He was proud to have served in the U.S. Air Force as Military Police for four years with many awards and commendations.
He is survived by: his wife, Lisa, of Millersville, MD; his two beloved sons, David, Jr. and Dylan of Millersville, MD, his mother, Patricia Frendlich of Egg Harbor Township; two sisters from New Jersey, Sharon Metzger and her husband Joseph, and Barbara Bauman and her husband Edwin; his nephew, Joshua Metzger, and his three nieces, Brittany, Holly, and Danae' Bauman; his grandmother, Velma Frendlich of Hammonton; his mother-in-law, Karen Phillips of Millersville, MD; his two lifetime best friends, Troy Crumling and Steven Brown of Mays Landing, and many other close relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his father, Roy J. Frendlich, Jr., his brother, Roy J. Frendlich, III, and his grandfather, Roy J. Frendlich, Sr.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at Kirkley-Ruddick Funeral Home at 421 Crane Highway, Southeast Glen Bernie, Maryland 21061 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. On Wednesday, November 5, 2003 a

SINGER, ALMA, 90 - of Bay Breeze Village, Egg Harbor City, died Sunday, November 2, 2003 at Shore Memorial Hospital, Somers Point. She was a longtime Summer resident and moved here permanently one year ago. She is survived by two sons, Ronald J. and Robert W. Singer and his wife Doris, grandchildren Robert W. Singer, Jr., and Steven Bucher and eight grandchildren. Memorial service will be held Wednesday 12 Noon at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Road, Linwood. PEPPER, VIRGINIA ROBERTS, 85 - The Lafayette at Country Place, died at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington, Kentucky, on November 17, 2003. After a brief illness, she went home to meet her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Born November 27, 1917 in Rahway, daughter of Mildred Martin Roberts and Thomas H. Roberts Jr., she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-one years, Johnson Dilks Pepper and a son, William Bloomfield Pepper II. She graduated from Rahway High School and received the Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in French and with a minor in music, from Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. She lived in Dividing Creek for thirty years where she taught elementary school for twenty years, retiring in 1979. She was a Girl Scout Troop leader and sang in the Methodist Church Choir. She was a sixty year member of the Sarah Stillwell Chapter of the New Jersey Daughters of the American Revolution. She loved sports, especially golf, and was a member of the B.L. England Ladies Golf Group. Virginia moved from Ocean City, to Lexington in 1992 to be closer to family. An avid knitter, she made hundreds of mittens, hats, sweaters, and Christmas stockings for family, friends, churches and charities. Survivors include a son, Michael R. (Pamela) Pepper of Lexington; two grandchildren, Meredyth (Timothy) Davis of Lexington, and Robert (Kristin) Pepper of Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; five great grandsons and one great granddaughter. Visitation Friday, November 21, 2003 at 10:00 a.m., Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 S. Shore Rd. Palermo, preceding funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Fernwood cemetery, Shiloh. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2003 at 3 p.m. at The Lafayette at Country Place, 690 Mason Headley Road, Lexington. BRENNAN, ROSE C., (NEE DONAGHY) - of Collingdale, PA, formerly of the Villas passed away on November 15, 2003.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph A. Brennan. Mother of James S. Brennan of Collingdale, PA and the late Joseph A. Brennan, Jr. and the late Robert W. Brennan. Sister of the late Letty Nichols. Also survived by 12 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Church of St. Joseph, Woodlawn Avenue, Collingdale, PA where friends may call after 9 a.m. Interment will be private.

FOX, SR., RAYMOND W., 81 - of Palermo, died Sunday, November 30, 2003 at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he had lived in Belmawr, before moving to Palermo 29 years ago.
He was a Veteran of World War II, having served with the United States Navy.
Mr. Fox worked for R.C.A. for 20 years before his retirement in 1970. He was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, where he belonged to the Mature Adults, and was a Charter Member of James J. Zegers Resurrection Counsel #9113. He was a member of V.F.W. Post #8695, Marmora, and a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus, Rev. John T. Sheehan Assembly No. 662, Somers Point.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Fox (nee Field) of Palermo, his son, Raymond J. Fox, Jr., of Texas, and his daughter, Laura Wittaker of Sweedsboro.
His Funeral Service will be offered Wednesday morning at eleven o'clock from The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, where friends may call from ten o'clock until the time of service. Burial will follow in Cape May County Veterans cemetery, Cape May Court House.

COPLEIN, CONSTANCE (NEE GOMBERG), 78 - of Brigantine, passed away on November 29, 2003 in Jupiter, FL. She was born in Philadelphia, PA. Connie was a life member of Hadassah, a member of Brandeis Women, the League of Women Voters and a member of Temple Beth Shalom of Brigantine,
She is survived by her devoted husband and retired Superintendent of Haddon Twp. School District, Leonard Coplein; daughters, Gail Coplein-Tebb and Deborah Coplein; sister, Elaine Lerner; brother, Stanley Gomberg; and beloved grandchildren, Elizabeth, Ariane, Sara and Nathaniel.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Crescent Burial Park in Pennsauken. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements by Roth-Goldsteins' Memorial Chapel, Atlantic City.

BARTHELMAS, FREDRICK GEORGE, 89 - of Somers Point, passed away November 28, 2003 at the Atlantic City Medical Center in Atlantic City. He was born in Philadelphia, PA. He was a Carpenter for the Atlantic City Carpenters Local 623 Union. He was a member of the American Legion Post of Ocean City. He had a sense of humor, he enjoyed carpentry as work and as a hobby. He was the best father anyone could ask for and my best friend and husband. He was very caring toward others and was well liked by his friends and loved animals. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II and received three purple hearts.
He is survived by his wife, Erika Barthelmas of Somers Point; his sons: Holger Richard Pust and partner Joseph Felsman of Ventnor and Christopher Barthelmas of Key West, Florida; one sister, Elizabeth Robinson of Salem, and nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 4:00p.m. Friday, December 12, 2003 at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Saint Augustine's School, 1310 Ocean Avenue, Ocean City.
