CIUBA, VICTOR, 70, of Galloway, formerly of Elizabeth, died Saturday, April 12, 2003 at home.
Born in Elizabeth, he lived in Galloway for the last 10 years.
Mr. Ciuba was a Police Officer for the Elizabeth Police Department for 28 years before retiring in 1989. He was a member of the N.J. State PBA, Elizabeth Lovcal #4. He was a US Navy Veteran, as a Gunners Mate aboard Submarine Tender USS Fulton, 1951 through 1955.
He was the beloved husband of 48 years to Eleanore Rybnicky Ciuba, devoted Father of Elaine Ciuba Barry of Marlboro and Debra Jill Ciuba of Galloway, brother of Rudolph Ciuba and Lynedia Pielech, both of Rahway, Olga Tyrkala of Houston and Babe Palchanes of Bridgewater. He was also Grandfather of Victoria Barry.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Tuesday, April 15, at 10:45 AM from the Krowicki McCracken Funeral Home, 2124 East St. Georges Ave., Linden. Funeral Mass at St. Adalbert RC Church, Elizabeth, 11 AM. Entombment at St. Gertrude Good Shepard Mausoleum, Colonia, N.J. Visiting hours Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. DIGEROLAMO, MARIO J., 52, of Hammonton, died Sunday in Kennedy Hospital, Washington Township. Born in Hammonton he was a lifelong resident. He was a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 3471 St. Vincent Pallotti Assembly in Hammonton, where he was a Past Grand Knight. Mario was a former coach and board member of the Hammonton Little League and the Hammonton Hawks. He was the owner of Big Dee Masonry in Hammonton.
He was predeceased by his father Frank A. DiGerolamo. Mario is survived by his wife: Linda L. (nee Bemesderfer) DiGerolamo, two Sons: Scott DiGerolamo and his wife Denise; Mario J. DiGerolamo, Jr; two daughters: Nicole DiGerolamo and Tania DiGerolamo all of Hammonton; his mother: Annie Arena DiGerolamo of Hammonton and his brother and sister in law Frank W. and Pamela DiGerolamo of Hammonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 10:00am in St. Joseph's RC Church N. Third St. Hammonton. Burial will follow in Greenmount cemetery, Hammonton. MCCOLLOM, JULIA FINNEY, 91, of Ventnor, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 12, 2003.
She was the wife of the late Herbert F. McCollom.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, at St. James Church, Ventnor. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's cemetery, Downingtown, PA. (George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, Ventnor).
REYNOLDS, MARQUAY JAMAR, 22, of Atlantic City, departed this life and went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 8, 2003. Born in Atlantic City, he attended the Atlantic City Public Schools and was a graduate with the Class of 2000. He attended Kean University College, in Union County on a football scholarship and was recently awarded the MVP for Offensive Plays. Marquay was well known in the community for his volunteer work at the AC Pal as an Assistant Coach and Driver for the basketball teams. He was also involved in the Drama Guild with Michael Bailey. A faithful member of Union Baptist Temple, he sang with the choir and was a part of many church organizations and functions. He will be deeply missed by anyone who knew him. Surviving are: his mother, Catherine Reynolds; one brother, Eddie Reynolds; four sisters, Catherine, Shamika, Seleema and Kera Reynolds, all of Atlantic City; four uncles, six aunts, his companion, Shatora Jenkins; his close friends, Larry Maddox, Jackie Curtis, Autemia Wilkins, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other loving relatives and fine friends. GUERRIER, ANGELINE, (nee Jiampetti), 94, of Egg Harbor City, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2003. She was born in Egg Harbor City and worked at Albert Sorg Clothing Company in Egg Harbor City as a Hand Seamstress. She also worked at her son's business "Joe's Market" in Northfield. She is survived by her children: Verna M. Stewart of Absecon and Joseph D. Guerrier of Linwood; her grandchildren: Andrea Weinstein of Marmora, Denise Guerrier of Northfield, and Kenneth Guerrier of Ocean City; her great grandchildren: Jillian Nehr, Kyle Weinstein, and Rebecca Weinstein. Also surviving are many other relatives and close family friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at St. Nicholas Church, 525 St. Louis Avenue, Egg Harbor City. MORRISON, ADELE M., 89, of Ocean City, died Friday, May 30, 2003 at The Health Center of Galloway.
Born in Ridgefield Park, Mrs. Morrison moved to South Jersey about seven years ago, living in the Ocean City area for the past year and the proceeding six years she lived in Voorhees. She is the widow of Arthur Morrison.
Mrs. Morrison had been a member of the Pavillion Circle of Holy Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fords, the Altar Guild of Trinity Lutheran Church of Bogata and the Senior Citizens Organization of Woodbridge.
Surviving Mrs. Morrison are her son Peter Morrison and wife Helen of Ocean City, her daughter Susan Cascio and husband Sal of Barnegat and Hilton Head Island, S.C., six grandchildren; Michael, Steven, Paul, Dawn, Heather and Karen and six great-grandchildren.
Services for Mrs. Morrison will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Linwood and Palisades Avenues in Bogata. Friends may call from 10:30 a.m. at the Church. SHILLINGFORD, LOUISE C., 85, of Aston, PA, died June 1, 2003 at Crozer Chester Medical Center.
Born in Dover, DE and raised in Wilmington, DE, she lived in Aston for three months. Her previous residence was Villas for 23 years, and prior to that Eddystone, PA.
She was a Secretary for Litton Ind. (Clifton Precision) for 20 years retiring in 1972, and a member of Tabernacle United Methodist Church, Cape May.
She was an avid golfer until she was 83 years old. She belonged to the BL England Woman's Golf League in Marmora, where she had won trophies. She enjoyed playing cards, painting, gardening, playing the organ. She loved her home in the Villas that was featured on the cover of the Garden Magazine. She was a member of Fitness First Health Spa in NJ until the age of 83 where she went three times a week. She also belonged to the Lower Twp. Democratic Club where she served as the secretary for at least two years. She was a member of the Golden Age Club of the Wildwood for five years.
She graduated from Wilmington High School in 1935.
Daughter of the late Herman and Ethel Manlove Conner, she was predeceased by one son: William H. Fitzgerald, Jr. (Aug. 2002) and two brothers: Herman and Burton Conner. Her spouse, Victor Shillingford, whom she was married to for 25 years, died in 2002; and her spouse, William H. Fitzgerald Sr., whom she was married to for 35 years, died in 1971. Survived by: one daughter, Diane L. Robinson of Aston, PA; 17 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
Memorial Service Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church, 882 Concord Rd., Aston, PA, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Interment private.

MAZZARELLA, SR., PETER L., 76, of Clayton, DE, died on Saturday, May 31, 2003 at Green Valley Pavillion in Smyrna, DE, after a long illness. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he later lived in Vineland and Bridgeton.
Mr. Mazzarella was a bus driver for many years, including trips by the Vineland Community Chorus, the Vineland State School, and the Saint Barbara's Society. He was a volunteer fireman with the Vineland Fire Co. #3 and a member of the Vineland Recreation Club. He was a volunteer driver for the RSVP Program of Cumberland Co. An Army veteran of WWII, he was a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division. In his early years, in Philadelphia, Mr. Mazzarella was a shoemaker in his family business, the Expert Shoe Repair. He enjoyed refinishing furniture, painting, playing cards, cooking, watching old westerns and the History Channel, and spending time with his family
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Gladys (Ney-Hallett) of Clayton, DE; five children, Peter, Jr. and wife Janice of Clayton, DE, Jeffrey of Clayton, DE, Gladys (Hallett) Curcio and husband Joseph Jr. of Newfield, Isabel (Hallett) Gorgo and husband Larry of Vineland, and Stewart Hallett and wife Penny of Newfield; 11 grandchildren, Tina, Peter III, Melissa, Heather and Tabitha Mazzarella, Stephanie (Bill) Dechen, Tiffany (Rob) Evans, Joseph (Rhonda) Curcio III, David Curcio, James (Lynne) Hallett, and Jennie Hallett; three great grandchildren, Brooke Lynne and James Hallett Jr. and Avery Curcio; and his sister-in-law, Jane Mazzarella of Feasterville, PA.
Mr. Mazzarella willed his body to Humanity Gifts Registry of Philadelphia, PA for study and research.
The family suggests those who do so desire, send memorial contributions to the "National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 1 Reed St., #200, Philadelphia, PA 19147-5593" or "Special Olympics Delaware, University of Delaware, Newark, DE 19716-1901."
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Devoted brother of Thomas Iannotti and his fianc‚ Judy of Monroeville, Janice Calciano and her husband Carmen of Hammonton, and Lynn Doris and her husband Leon of Newark, DE. FRANCIS, BERNARD ERNEST, 89, of Atlantic City, died Thursday, May 29, 2003, in the Atlantic City Medical Center, Galloway. He was born in Philadelphia and had lived here more than 50 years. A member of Saint Monica's Roman Catholic Church and its Knights of St. John.
Mr. Francis was a self-employed barber and cab driver.
He is survived by a brother, Joseph, of Washington, DC, and VanLeah Francis, Baltimore, MD; a sister, Nina Abney, of CA, and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held noon Thursday, June 5, 2003 at St. Monica's Roman Catholic Church, 108 North Pennsylvania Avenue, Atlantic City, where friends may call from 11:00a.m. Burial will be in the Atlantic City cemetery, Pleasantville.

POORMAN, MARY ELIZABETH, passed away at her place of residence in Egg Harbor Township. Born on January 29, 1913 in Palmyra, PA. She lived in Palmyra, PA until five and one half years ago when she and her husband relocated to Linwood.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Poorman. She is survived by her son, Ronald Poorman and his wife, Karen, two grandchildren; Melinda Poorman Sweeney and her husband, Michael, and Jennifer Poorman Hodgson and her husband, Keith; and one great grandchild, Jordan Sweeney, all of Egg Harbor Township. She is also survived by her cousin, Dorothy Hartz of Palmyra, PA.
She was a member of Palm United Lutheran Church, Palmyra, PA, the Bargaintown AARP and the Linwood AARP, and St. Bernadette Senior Citizen's Group in Northfield.
She was an artist, working under the name "Marelpo" and painted over 200 oil paintings during her lifetime. Four of her final works were "Four Seasons on Bargaintown Lake", completed in 2002. She played piano and was an accomplished music copyist. She enjoyed gardening, golf, and bowling. As a bowler, she competed both on the local and national level and was a member of 23 league championship bowling teams. She was elected to the Lebanon Woman's Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 1994 when she was 80 years old.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2003 at 2 p.m. at the Gravel Hill cemetery, Palmyra, PA. Relatives and friends may gather with the family from 3 p.m. until 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2003 at the Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield.
THOMPSON, MARY S., 78, of Collings Lake, died Saturday at the Lincoln Specialty Care Center, Vineland.
Born in Trenton, Mary had resided at her daughters and son-in-laws residence for about seven years. She formerly lived in Millville for 20 years.
She was a union glass worker and worked before retirement at Kerr Glass Company. Mary was a member of the Cedar Baptist Church, Buena and she loved her Lord.
She enjoyed the casinos and dining out. Mary was a loving and caring grandmother and was predeceased by her husband Burson Thompson, her son Howard and her grandson Rodney Murphy.
Survived by: three daughters: Mary Motter of Vineland; Bursona Tucker of Leesburg; Ruth Ferrant of Collings Lake; one son: Burson Thompson II of Minotola; one sister: Cheena Jakobs of Delaware; eight grandchildren and eight great grand-children.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, 1019 E. Landis Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park cemetery, Millville. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
