Grace Tunison
Former Manasquan resident Grace I. [nee Larison] Tunison died on Thursday, June 17 at Arbor Glen Assisted Living’s Holly Center, Bridgewater, N.J.
She was 83 years old.
Born in Dunellen, she had lived most of her life in Somerville before moving to Manasquan in 1988.
She was a supervisor with the South Somerville Depot for 35 years before her retirement in 1973. She then went to work for the Somerville Welfare Department for eight years.
She was a past President of the AARP, Manasquan, a member of the Women’s Club, St. Dennis Senior Citizens, Manasquan and a life member of the Eastern Star Chapter No. 100, Somerville.
She was predeceased by her husband Frank in 1989 and a brother Harry in 1968.
Mrs. Tunison is survived by her brother Douglas and his wife Ruth, Bethlehem, Pa.; her sisters Jean Fielder-Herbert, South Orleans, Mass.; Shirley Panfili, Somerville, N.J.and E. Gayle Troia, Middlesex; and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Funeral services were from the Middlesex Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Tunison’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.
Jonathan Scisco
Former Spring Lake Heights resident Jonathan Scisco died on Friday June 4 at Halifax Medical Center, Daytona Beach, Fla.
He was 24 years old.
Born in Neptune, he lived in Spring Lake Heights before moving to Ormand Beach, Fla. in 2003.
Mr. Scisco is survived by his father and stepmother, Fred and Pat Bennett, Neptune; his mother and stepfather, Denise and Joseph Mercolino, Ormand Beach, Fla.; sister Michelle, Ormand Beach, Fla.; grandfather, John, Farmingdale; great grandmother, Claire Morris, Jackson; uncles, David, Farmingdale, William, Portland, Ore., Brian, Jackson; aunt, Sharon Majeshi, Lakewood; cousin and best friend, Jennifer Elias, Brick; stepsisters, Cheri Marrucca and Crystal Killion, Neptune; stepbrothers, Tony and Tim Killion, Neptune; half-sister, Evelyn Bennett, N.C..; half brother, Fred Bennett Jr., Belmar; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 25, 10 a.m. at the Francioni, Taylor and Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 Tenth Avenue, Neptune.
William Kutsch
New Hampshire resident William “Bill” Kutsch died Friday, May 28 in his home in Northwood, N.H.
He was 24 years old.
Born in Brentwood, N.H. he spent a lot of time in Brielle, N.J., and currently resided in Northwood, N.H.
He was going into his senior year at the University of New Hampshire.
He was also a professional snowboarder.
Friends and family will remember his most remarkable spirit for life and the world around him.
Mr. Kutsch is survived by his mother, Bonnie Kutsch, Brentwood, N.H.; his father William Kutsch and his wife Joan, Scottsdale, Ariz.; his sister Melissa Kutsch, Boston; and his soulmate, Kristin Frank and her family, Brielle.
Funeral services were from the Brewitt Funeral Home.
Mary Elizabeth Robinson
Sea Girt resident Mary Elizabeth “Bettie” [nee Lynch] Robinson died Monday, June 21 at the Medicenter, Neptune.
She was 69 years old.
Born and raised in Boston, Mass., she formerly lived in Cranford and Barnegat Light before moving to Sea Girt.
She had an art gallery in Cranford and was a real estate agent for Paige & Paige & Richard, Cranford. She was also employed as a secretary at M. Robinson & Son, a 75 year old family business, Cranford.
She was a communicant of St. Mark’s Church, Sea Girt. She was vice president of the St. Mark’s Rosary Society, a member of the St. Mark’s Social Concerns Committee, and a member of the Women of Irish Heritage. She was formerly a member of St. Michael’s Church, Cranford, where she was Chairman of the precana association. She was a committee woman for The Cranford Republican Party. She was also a member of the Cranford Dramatic Club, Cranford Swim Club, and Roselle Golf Club.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by her husband of 47 years, Edward Robinson, a two-time former Mayor of Cranford; three sons, Mark and his wife Karen, Cranford, Christopher and his wife Linda, Calif., and Neil and his wife Michelle, Millstone; two brothers, Leo and John Lynch; two sisters, Patricia Tierney and Kathleen Foley; and two granddaughters, Molly and Morgan Robinson.
Funeral Mass is Friday, June 25 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mark’s RCC, Sea Girt. Interment is private.

William Papworth
Wall resident William T. Papworth died Monday, June 21 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.
He was 80 years old.
Born in Spring Lake, he was a life long resident of Spring Lake Heights.
He was a WWII Army Air Corps Veteran where he was a sergeant in the 460 Fighter Squadron and a chief mechanic on the B-29. He received the Asiatic Pacific Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Phillipines Liberations Ribbon with the Bronze Arrowhead WWII Victory Medal.
He was an auto mechanic for DeFelice, Asbury Park. He worked as a part-time dispatcher for the Spring Lake Heights Police Department. He was also a certified dog trainer.
He was predeceased by his wife, Helen M. Papworth in January, 2004.
Funeral services were from the O’Brien Funeral Home.
Donations in Mr. Papworth’s memory may be made to any Veteran Charity.
Kristen Ann Mack
Wall resident Kristen Ann Mack died Monday, June 21 at her residence.
She was 16 years old.
Born in Freehold, she was a lifelong resident of Wall.
She was a student, recently completing her Junior year at Wall High School.
She attended Bible Baptist Church, Howell.
She played Roller Hockey for the last five years and was very proud to be the only female who earned a position on the al-male, Jackson Jinx Roller Hockey Team. She ran track and threw shot-put at Wall High School.
Ms. Mack is survived by her parents, Robert A. Mack Jr., Wall and Jacqueine M. Starkey and her companion Scott G. Blair, Brick; her brother, Robert A. Mack III, Brick and Wall; her paternal grandparents, Robert and Nancy Mack, Neptune; her maternal grandparents, Don and Gabrielle Daly, Ocean Gate; her great grandmother, Katherine Kissel, Pensacola, Fla.; several aunts and uncles, Dennis and Mary Ellen Murachanian, Tinton Falls, Jeff and Elaine Mack, Wall, Scott and Susan Baldwin, Howell, Gabrielle Farrell, Allenwood, and Danny and Jessica Crawford, Roebling; and several cousins.
Friends may call at Friday, 2 to 4 p.m., and 7 to 9 p.m. at O’Brien Funeral Home , Route 35, New Bedford Road, Wall.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is private.

Elaine P. Mayock
Lakewood resident Elaine P. Mayock, formerly of Point Pleasant, died Thursday, Sept. 18 in her home.
She was 66 years old.
Born in Teaneck, Mrs. Mayock lived in Point Pleasant for many years before moving Lakewood two years ago.
She was employed as a secretary with James S. Kelly Heating and Air Conditioning, retiring several years ago.
She served as program chairperson for the Friends of the Point Pleasant Library, a peer counselor for Preferred Behavioral Health of New Jersey, a census worker for the U.S. government, and was certified in graphoanalysis.
She enjoyed playing Scrabble, league bowling and golf, having accomplished a hole in one.
She completed courses in lifesaving, water safety, and first aid.
She had a positive attitude, will be missed by all, and is finally at peace with God in heaven.
Surviving are one son, John J. Mayock; one daughter, Linda G. Schuster; her former husband, James A. Mayock; her significant other, Kenneth F. Ronan; one brother, Henry Mulder; and three granddaughters, Anna Geller, and Hannah and Emily Schuster.

Marjorie Falzarano
Forked River, Lacey Township resident Marjorie Falzarano, whose daughter lives in Lavallette, died Wednesday, Sept. 17 in South Ocean Center, Stafford.
She was 72 years old.
Born in West Warwick, R.I., Mrs. Falzarano lived in North Arlington before coming to Forked River in 1988.
She was employed for five years as a clerk with Textron, North Arlington, before retiring in 1969.
She was a communicant of St. Pius X Church, Forked River.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph A. Falzarano; three daughters, Carolyn Anderson, Bayville, Berkeley, Janice Verrier, Lavallette, and Jeanne Lynn Dittmar, Toms River; one brother, William Drake, Clinton, S.C.; one sister, Helen Baum, Forked River; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were from the Carbona-Bolen Home for Funerals, Toms River.

Robert A. Gardner
Lakewood resident Robert A. Gardner, formerly of Point Pleasant Beach, died Monday, Sept. 22 in Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.
He was 74 years old.
Born in Bridgeport, Conn., Mr. Gardner lived in South Orange and Point Pleasant Beach before moving to Lakewood four years ago.
He was employed as a salesman with Drake¹s Bakery, Irvington and East Brunswick, retiring 10 years ago.
He was a member of St. Peter¹s Church, Point Pleasant Beach.
He was a member of Teamsters Local No. 194.
He was a loving husband, father and father-in-law, and a devoted poppy, and an avid sports fan of his grandchildren¹s athletics.
He was predeceased in 1969 by his daughter, Laura.
Surviving are his wife, Marie; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kirk and Kathy, Brick Township, and Bruce and Eileen, Point Pleasant; two sisters, Barbara Swejowski; Connecticut, and Letitia Weaver, Florida; two grandchildren, Brad and Kara Gardner; and two step grandchildren, Joe and Thomas Arminio.
