Clara A. Morgan
Asbury Park resident Clara Alfreda Morgan, whose sister and brother-in-law and two of her children live in Brielle, died Tuesday, June 15, at her daughter’s home.
She was 67 years old.
Born in Brielle, Mrs. Morgan lived in Wall Township before moving to Asbury Park in 1998.
She retired from Atlantic Mills Inc., Lakewood, in 2001.
She was baptized at Shiloah Baptist Church, Manasquan, in 1949. She recently was a member of Christian Cathedral Ministries, Asbury Park.
She was predeceased by her father, Junior Morton, her brother, Richard Morton, and her sister, Roselle Wheeler.
Surviving are one daughter, Jacqueline Davis, Brielle; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Joanne Gamborini Morgan, Brielle, Kevin Morgan, Asbury Park, and Jeffrey Morgan, Harrisburg, Pa.; her mother, Martha Morton, Farmingdale; three sisters, Alice Lee, Brielle, Estelle Wycoff, Farmingdale, and Corinthia Butterfield, Asbury Park; three brothers, Robert Morton, Baltimore, Lawrence Morton, Philadelphia, and Stanley Morton, Asbury Park; a brother-in-law, Robert Lee, Brielle; a sister-in-law, Mary Morton, Brielle; an ex-husband, Jackie Morgan, Brielle; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral arrangements are from the Neary-Quinn Funeral Home, Manasquan. Visiting will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday at the The First Baptist Church, Manasquan. A funeral service will be held at noon on Saturday at the church.
Patricia Queen
Brick resident Patricia Beer Queen died Thursday, June 10 in her home.
She was 66 years old.
Born in Point Pleasant, she had lived in Manasquan before moving to Brick 1 1/2 years ago.
She owned and operated a successful flower shop, Flowers and Gifts by Special Effects, Wall. She was also a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was predeceased by her father, Arthur W. Beer in 1975.
Mr.s Queen is survived by her husband of 48 years, Richard G. Queen; her mother, Gertrude Beer, Lakewood; one son, Kevin, Brielle; two daughters, Bonnie Wright and son-in-law Gregory Wright, Brielle and Jacque Queen, Point Pleasant; two brothers, Arthur W. Beer and sister-in-law, Joyce Beer, Lakewood and Brian Beer and sister-in-law, Lee Beer, Manasquan; and three grandchildren, John, Diana, and MacKenzie.
Funeral services were from Pable-Evertz Funeral Home.

Catherine LeMore
Belmar resident Catherine LeMore died Tuesday, June 8 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.
She was 94 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Jersey City before moving to Belmar 54 years ago.
She was a member of AARP, a communicant of St. Rose’s Church and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and The St. Rose Prime Timers.
She was predeceased by her husband, John A. LeMore, 1982.
Mrs. LeMore is survived by one son, John A. LeMore, 1982; one daughter, Geraldine Ort, Spring Lake Heights; one daughter, Geraldine Ort, Spring Lake Heights; one sister, Anna Marie LeMore, Wall; six grandchildren, Katrine Newman, Christy Brown, Nikki Hall, Kathy Parry, Ray and Glenn Farrell; and 13 great-grandchildren, Brian Perry, Emily, Ray, Lily, Brandan and Zach Farrell, Tyler, Nathan and Wesley Newman, Danielle, Austin, and Caitlin Brown.

Virginia Levitt
Manasquan resident Virginia Levitt died Wednesday, June 9 at Waterford Glen, Wall.
Born in Brooklyn, she resided in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. and Brooklyn, before moving to Manasquan.
She was employed as a baker at Ebinger’s Bakery, Brooklyn, retiring after more than 25 years.
She is survived by a grandson and his wife, Kenneth and Linda Kleinlein, Manasquan; a granddaughter and her husband, Kristine and Charles Kalinowski, Amityville; and five great-grandchildren and Ashley, Matthew, Joseph and Emily Kalinowski.

Lillian Lubeck
Manasquan resident Lillian Flury Lubeck died Friday, June 10 at Sunnywide Manor, Wall.
She was 102 years old.
Born in New Britain, Conn. she was a resident of Warren and North Plainfield before moving to Manasquan 12 years ago.
She was a homemaker.
She was a communicant of St. Denis Church.
She was predeceased by her husband William Lubeck on March 25, 1981 and her son Richard J. Lubeck.
Mrs. Lubeck is survived by her daughter Lillian Lubeck Smith, Hernando, Fla.; her two sons W. William Lubeck, Jupiter, Fla. and Charles Lubeck, Manasquan; 11 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were from the O’Brien Funeral Home.
Edward K. Coyle
Manasquan resident Edward K. Coyle died Friday, June 11 at his house.
He was 68 years old.
Born and raised in Newark, he had lived in Manasquan for the past 20 years.
He was a self employed carpenter in the Shore area for the past 20 years.
He was a communicant of St. Dennis Church, Manasquan.
He is survived by his four sons, Edward K. Jr., Toms River, John P., Virginia, Christopher P., Sacramento, Calif., and Stephen M., Manalapan; a daughter, Eileen Coyle, L.A., Calif.; his mother Bridget [nee Harvey] Coyle, Manasquan; two brothers, John H. and James. A. Coyle,, Manasquan; five sisters, Anna Cunningham, Lincoln Park, Kathleen Zipf, Brick, Margaret Kennedy, Indiana, Sarah Cullen, Wall, and Eileen Byrne, Verona; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were from the O’Brien Funeral Home.

Edwin Schneider
Avon resident Edwin M. Schneider died Friday, June 11 at Meridian Rehabilitation and Nursing Care Center, Red Bank.
He was 63 years old.
Born, raised, and educated in Brooklyn, he relocated to Avon in 1999.
He worked as a clerk in the N.Y.C. Fire Department.
He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth’s Church , and a member of their renew group. He was also a member of a local social group, which met faithfully every morning at Beth Kelly’s Deli, Avon.
He was predeceased by his parents Chief Edwin F. Schneider FDNY and Rita [nee Higgins] Schneider, Fla.; one sister, Ms. Joan C. Burns, Red Bank; two nephews, Andrew and Joseph Burns; and many cousins and dear relatives.

Felix Catalano
Neptune resident Felix J. “Gene” Catalano died Friday, June 11 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune.
He was 86 years old.
Born in N.Y.C., he was raised in Belmar and lived most of his life in Ocean Twp. before moving to Neptune.
He was a graduate of Asbury Park High School. After the war Gene rose through the ranks of Acme Supermarkets and served regional supervisor of Monmouth and Ocean counties for ten years before leaving to manage Lindy’s Italian Restaurant, Neptune City. Later he became general manager of Forte Restaurant in Spring Lake Heights, he was then employed at the Spring Lake Golf Club before retiring.
He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mr. Carmel. He was also an Army Veteran of World War II.
He was predeceased by four brothers, Salvatore “Sam,” James, Mario, and Louis Catalano.
Mr. Catalano is survived by his wife of 61 years, Eleanor Cook Catalano; his two sons Gene P. Catalano, Plano, Texas and Dr. Robert B. Catalano, Philadelphia, Pa.; two daughters, Diane Taylor, Upland, Calif. and Janet D’Esposito, Wanamassa, Ocean; eight grandchildren, Dawn Tuite, Robert, Kristen Catalano, Melissa Taylor, Vincent, Nicole, Joseph, and Ashley D’Esposito; and three great grandchildren, Hunter and Tyler Tuite and Sebastian Felix Catalano.

Mary Murphy
Florham Park resident Mary E . Murphy died on Saturday, June 12 at Morristown Memorial Hospital.
She was 83 years old.
Born in Worcester, Mass., she lived in the Vailsburg section of Newark before moving to Florham Park in 1974.
She was a proud 1944 graduate of Framingham State College with a degree in home economics. She pursued graduate studies in Food and Nutrition at Cornell University. She was also a Home Economist with the Essex County Human Relations for many years. Earlier, she was the head dietician.
She was a member of the Rosary Society of Holy Family Church. She was also a member of the Rosary Society of Holy Family Church, the Senior Citizens of Florham Park and the American Dieticians Association.
Mrs. Murphy is survived by her loving husband, Joseph; daughters, Mary Anne Murphy and Nancy P. Walsh; sons Joseph M. Murphy Jr., Kevin F. Murphy and Michael J. Murphy; brother Paul J. McMahon; and eight grandchildren.

Minerva R. Sharp
Lakewood resident Minerva R. Sharp Ocean Medical Center, Brick.
She was 95 years old.
Born in Kearny she had lived in Oceanport before moving to Lakewood 31 years ago.
She was predeceased by her husband Chester Sharp in 1967.
Mrs. Sharp is survived by eight nephews and their wives; Peter Robinson, James and Rudy Robinson, Vincent and Bernie Robinson, Robert Robinson, Richard and Ann Robinson, Richard Robinson, Welsey and Alice Yale, Kenneth and Kathleen Yale; 2 nieces, Evonne and her husband Flynn and Barbara Graves; and a sister-in-law Virginia Robinson.

Robert Way
Spring Lake resident Robert M. Way of Spring Lake died Sunday, June 13 at his residence in Henrietta, N.Y.
He was 91 years old.
Born in Jersey City, he was a long time resident of Spring Lake. As a 90th birthday gift, his family presented a tree along Spring Lake as a permanent rememberence of him to the town he loved.
He had been employed as a Cost Accountant at Rochester Gas and Electric for many years.
He was a Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop # 21 of St. Margaret’s Church. He was a charter member of the Nocturnal Adoration Society of St. Catharine’s and St. Margaret’s Parish, a member of the Knights of Columbus, the St. Catharine’s Association of Mature Persons, and a member of the Men of Malvern Retreat League.
He was predeceased by his three sons Robert F., Thomas U. and Michael J. Way.
Mr. Way is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lorraine McAdam Way; two daughters and their husbands, Mary and Heath Boyer, Spring Lake and Elizabeth, and Douglas Bufano, Fairport, N.Y., her daughter-in-law Bonnie Way, Rochester, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, Kerri Hoffman, Julia Pundock, Thomas Fahy, Michael Bufano, Ann Bufano, Robert Way, Kristin Runyan, and Garrett Way; and 12 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
