GEORGE SIMONOW, 77, of HOWELL, died Wednesday April 7, at Fountain View Care Center, Lakewood. He was a member of St. Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Church, Howell. Born in Yugoslavia, he had lived in Manhattan before moving to Howell three years ago.
Surviving are his former wife, Natalie Simonow of Howell; a son and daughter-in-law, Boris and Doreen Simonow of Howell; and three granddaughters.
Prayer services will be held on Monday evening at St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Howell. Funeral services will be held at 11: 30 a.m. Tuesday at the cathedral. Burial will follow in St. Vladimir Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Jackson. C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, Adelphia, is in charge of arrangements.
KENNETH IVAN DANIELS JR., 59, of HOWELL, died Monday, May 31, at home. Born in Laconia, N.H., he had lived in Howell. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Asbury Park. He was also a consulting mechanic at Wall Stadium. He was employed by the Asbury Park Press, Freehold, for 33 years.
He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth Ivan Daniels Sr. Surviving are a son, Kenneth I. Daniels III; a daughter, Daniella Daniels; his mother, Viola M. Daniels of Howell; and two sisters, Elizabeth J. deVries of Ambler, Pa., and Gertrude A. Cerone of Northridge, Calif.
There will be no viewing. A memorial gathering will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at his residence. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. Daniels may be made to either Monmouth County Hospice or to the charity of your choice. C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, Adelphia, is in charge of arrangements.

JOSEPHINE DIONISIO, 82, of BRICK, died Thursday, May 20, at Concord Health Care & Rehab, Lakewood. She was a homemaker. Born in Newark, she lived in Whippany before moving to Brick in 1972.
She was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Raccuglia; and three brothers, Raymond Dionisio, Mario Dionisio, and Harry Dionisio. Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

MARY A. HAND, 76, of FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, died Tuesday, May 25, at Bartley Health Care Nursing & Rehab, Jackson. She was a homemaker and was a communicant of The Church of St. Robert Bellarmine, Freehold Township, where she was a eucharistic minister. She was a former vice president of the Silvermead Chapter of the Ladies Auxiliary of CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Born in Brooklyn, she lived there before moving to Freehold Township 10 years ago.
She was predeceased by a son, Eugene, in 1959. Surviving are her husband, Patrick J. Hand; a son, John M. Hand of Stony Point, N.Y.; three daughters, Maureen P. Kenny of Arnold, Md., Eileen M. McLeod of Freehold Township, and Kathleen M. Sweeney of Roselle Park; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Visiting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and Monday at C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, 958 Adelphia Road (Route 524), Adelphia. MARIE M. OLIVIERI, of HOWELL, died Monday, May 31, at Holmdel Convalescent Center, Holmdel. She worked in the purchasing department at Revlon, Inc., Edison. Prior to that, she was a millinery model in New York City. She was a past president of the Surrey Downs Ladies Auxiliary, Howell. She was active in the administration of C.C.D. at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church. Born in Fairview, she had lived in Old Bridge before moving to Howell 13 years ago.
She was predeceased by her husband, John J., in 1989. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, J. Chris and Kathie Olivieri of Matawan, and Craig and Barbara Olivieri of Old Bridge; a daughter and son-in-law, Cathy O. and Miley Bull of Fairfield, Conn., N.Y., and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the C.H.T. Clayton and Son Funeral Home, 958 Adelphia Road, Route 524, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Relatives may gather at 8: 30 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal, followed by a 9: 30 a.m. Mass at St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, 31 Asbury Road, Farmingdale, with the Rev. Michael Vona officiating. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. MARGUERITE "JACKIE" GRETCHEL REID, 94, of FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, died Thursday, May 27, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Farmingdale. She was a 50-year member of the Molly Pitcher Chapter of the Eastern Star. She was a prior member of the Wall Campers Club and a former auxiliary volunteer at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Long Branch, she had lived in Neptune before moving to Silvermead, Freehold Township in 1969.
She was predeceased by her husband, Clarence D. "Chubby," in 1974; a grandson, Timothy Lisle; and a daughter-in-law, Mary Ruth Reid. Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Edward J. and Faye Reid of Grandy, N.C., and George D. Reid of Manasquan; two daughters and a son-in-law, Elizabeth M. Lisle of Lakehurst, and Barbara R. and Robert Hurley of Farmingdale; eight grandchildren, John and Edward Lisle, Barbara Sparks, George Jr., Ronald and Craig Reid, Robert Jr., and Susan Hurley; and 19 great-grandchildren.

LINDA G. BOYETTE, 54, of FREEHOLD, died Thursday, July 29, at home. Mrs. Boyette was born in Neptune and was a lifelong area resident. Mrs. Boyette was a safety deposit receptionist for Midlantic-Merchants Bank in Asbury Park and Neptune. She was a member of the Blue Knights, Chapter 15, Central Jersey.
She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Mary Elizabeth Boyette, in 2000. Surviving are her husband, Richard Boyette; two sons, Michael J. Boyette and Kevin Boyette, both of Jackson; a brother, Glenn Sakker of Brick; and a granddaughter, Michelle Boyette.

MARTIN L. MANSER, 68, of HOWELL, died Friday, July 30, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mr. Manser was a self-employed carpenter. Born in Palenville, N.Y., Mr. Manser lived in Millstone for 25 years before moving to Howell five years ago.
Surviving are four nephews and two nieces-in-law, Richard and Michele Nichols of Jackson, Robert and Rhonda Nichols of Howell, Howard Manser of Florida, and Charles Manser of Howell; a niece, Connie Manser of New York; and two great-nephews, Nicholas and Richard Nichols.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the C.H.T. Clayton and Son Funeral Home, 958 Adelphia Road, Route 524, Adelphia. Friends and relatives are invited to attend his funeral service at noon Tuesday at the funeral home with Chaplain Keith Long officiating. Interment will follow in Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent.

JOHN P. MC GOUGH, 67, of FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, died Wednesday, July 28, at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Mr. McGough was born in Brooklyn and lived there before moving to Freehold Township in 1964. Mr. McGough was a parishioner at The Church of St. Robert Bellarmine, Freehold Township. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a former coach for the Freehold Township Little League and the Freehold Township Recreation Department.
He was predeceased by a son, John Patrick McGough, in 1968. Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Ann Marie McGough; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Dr. James J. and Jacqueline McGough of Manhattan Beach, Calif., Thomas M. McGough of Howell, and William J. and Quan D. McGough of Freehold; four daughters and a son-in-law, Susan McGough of Freehold Township, Dr. Eileen McGough of Freehold, Dianne and Charles Famulare of Freehold Township, and Donna M. McGough of Freehold Township; a brother, James A. McGough of Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.; two sisters, Kathleen Grant of Huntington, Long Island, N.Y., and Virginia Victor of Scarsdale, N.Y.; and seven grandchildren, Chelsea Waldron, Caitlin McGough, Daniel McGough, Samantha Famulare, Charles Famulare, Kali McGough and Colin McGough.

MARYJANE NAVARRO, 78, of HOWELL, died Sunday, Aug. 1, at home. Mrs. Navarro was born in Manhattan, and had lived in Brooklyn before moving to Howell in 1960. She was a parishioner of the Church of St. Veronica, Howell, and a former member of its Rosary Altar Society. She was also a former member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary, Howell. Mrs. Navarro worked in the Import/Export Department of the New York City Post Office. Afterward, she was a nursing home dietary aide.
She was predeceased by a son, Bruce F. Navarro, in 1996. Surviving are her husband, Charles R. Navarro Jr.; two sons, Charles R. Navarro III of Simi Valley, Calif., and Stephen E. Navarro of White Bear Lake, Minn.; a daughter, Michele Navarro of Howell; a sister, Josephine C. Olivieri of Jackson; and six grandchildren.

ALFREDO NOVEMBRE, 89, of FARMINGDALE, formerly of Passaic, died Saturday, July 31, at home, surrounded by his family. Born in Passaic, in 1914, obitpix he lived in Forino, Italy, until 1951. While growing up in Italy, he was drafted and served in the Army during World War II. Before the war ended, he spent two years as a prisoner of war. Alfredo returned to the United States in 1951 and worked extremely hard as a machinist and welder to bring his wife Maria and his two children to America in 1952. During the Vietnam War, his two sons, Anthony and Carmine served in the armed forces. Carmine, a Marine lance corporal, was killed in action in Vietnam in April of 1968. Alfredo gave his son Anthony the opportunity that he never had to go to college, and he graduated from Rutgers in 1981 with a doctorate in education. He will be remembered for his energy, alertness and his "big heart," which was an inspiration to all who knew him. He was a communicant of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Passaic, and had a special devotion to Jesus, Mary and Padre Pio.
Maria, his beloved wife of 48 years, died in 1988. He was also predeceased by his mother, Assunta Pagano, in 1952, who had raised him and his brother, Giuseppe, by herself, and he was predeceased by his daughter, Susan, who died at 18 months. He leaves behind his loving son, Anthony and daughter-in-law Diane; a brother, Giuseppe Novembre of Forino, Italy; three grandchildren, Carmine and Anthony of Florida, and Michele Hope of Jackson and her husband Allen; a great-grandchild, Conner, the "light of his life," and four nephews and a niece, Carmine, Nicolo, Alfredo, Neil and Anna; as well as their spouses and children.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Clayton Funeral Home, 958 Adelphia Road, Adelphia. Family and friends may gather at 8: 30 a.m. Wednesday for the Rite of Committal followed by a 9: 30 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 31 Asbury Road in Farmingdale with the Rev. Michael Vona officiating. Family and friends will meet at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi, for the interment. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Catherine of Siena Church.

ANN POSIDELOW, 64, of HOWELL, died Friday, July 30, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton, Hamilton. Mrs. Posidelow was born in Russia and had lived in Patterson before moving to Howell in 1968. She was a member of St. Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Howell. Mrs. Posidelow was a data processor in the banking industry.
Surviving are her husband, Anatol Posidelow; a son, Alexander Posidelow of Howell; a daughter, Nina Posidelow-Cannon of Hyattsville, Md.; and a sister, Raisia Mandrikin of Totowa.
Prayer services will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at St. Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral, Alexander Avenue, Howell. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the cathedral with the Rev. Valery Lukianov officiating. Interment will follow in St. Vladimir's Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Jackson.
