Surviving are her husband of 46 years, John R.; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Joseph, South Belmar, Michael and Anne, Spring Lake Heights, and John and Cindy, and William and Grace, all of Wall Township; one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and John McCormick, North Haledon; two brothers, John McArtney, Massachusetts, and William McArtney, California; one sister, Joan Brennen, Maple Shade; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were from the O¹Brien Funeral Home, Wall.

Manasquan resident Marie A. Connolly died Sunday, March 25 in Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune.
She was 85 years old.
Born in Jersey City, Mrs. Connolly moved to Manasquan in 1973.
She was employed for 22 years with Western Electric Company, Kearny, before retiring.
She was a communicant of St. Denis Church, Manasquan.
She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
She was predeceased in 1972 by her husband, John G. Connolly.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Lynn, and John G. and Lynda, all of Manasquan; one brother, Anthony Angelo, Toms River; one sister, Betty Flannagan, Bayonne; six granddaughters, Kathy, Maureen, Patricia, Carolyn, Erin, and Megan; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were from the Neary-Quinn Funeral Home, Manasquan.

Wall Township resident Marguerite A. Havens died Tuesday, March 20 in Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune.
She was 79 years old.
She was a life-long member of the First Baptist Church of Laurelton, Brick Township.
With many physical challenges, Ms. Havens lived a full life with grace and dignity.
She was predeceased by her parents, William and Olive T. Havens, her brother, Harold Havens, and her brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Pauline Havens.
Surviving are two nieces, Mary Ann Fischer, Utica, N.Y., and Pauline Satter, Red Bank; great-nieces and great-nephews, Kathleen F. Handzel, and Cheryl F. Allen, both of Utica, N.Y., Sandra S. Scheuer, Lincroft, James Fischer, Syracuse, N.Y., and John Satter, East Brunswick, and their spouses and children.

Jean A. Tarleton
Beloved Grandmother
Manasquan resident Jean A. Tarleton died Thursday, March 22.
Born in Columbus, Ohio, Mrs. Tarleton lived in Whippany for 25 years before moving to Manasquan in 1972.
She was a 1937 graduate of East Orange High School.
She was predeceased in 1989 by her husband, Howard, and by two brothers, Paul and Thomas Felger. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Edward Poerner, who died in action during World War II.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Stacey Tarleton, Manasquan; three daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Stuart Black, Ardmore, Pa., Leslie and Bill Devers, Manasquan, and Kathy and Rich Cecere, Budd Lake; 10 grandchildren, Hayley and Dustin Tarleton, Karen and Jill Foster, Megan, Ryan, and David Black, Teresa Englert, and Jennifer and Beth Cecere; and two great-grandchildren, Angela and Alysia Englert.

Boyertown, Pa., resident Alvin D. 'Jerry' Morris, formerly of Wall Township, died Thursday, March 22 in his home.
He was 84 years old.
Born in Wall, Mr. Morris lived there before moving to Boyertown.
He was the owner of Auto Repair and Towing Service, Wall,
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Pamela M. and John Woodell, Boyertown, Pa.; one brother, William, Lakehurst; one sister, Georgia Cowan, Naples, Fla.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Wall Township resident William T. Johnston died Tuesday, March 20 in Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune.
He was 78 years old.
Born in New York City, Mr. Johnston lived in Newark and Livingston before moving to the Shore area 40 years ago.
He was a graduate of St. Benedict School, Newark.
He was a real estate and insurance broker for many years, before retiring.
He was an Air Force veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret F. Johnston; five children; two grandchildren; five step-children; and 11 step-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were from the Berandinelli Forest Hill Memorial, Newark. A memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 7 in St. Mark Church, Sea Girt.

Antoinette L. Ricci

Belmar resident Antoinette Lucibello 'Ann' Ricci died Thursday March 22 in Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune.
She was 84 years old.
Born in Jersey City, Mrs. Ricci move to Belmar in 1982.
She was employed for 38 years in the accounting department of Western Electric Company, Kearny, before retiring.
She was a communicant of St. Rose Church, Belmar, and a member of its Altar and Rosary Society.
She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, Kearny, and was active in the Deborah Hospital Foundation, Belmar and Spring Lake.
She was predeceased in 1954 by her first husband, Carlo Scerbo, in 1999 by a great-granddaughter, Kylie Ann Rosset; and one brother, Mario Lucibello.
Surviving are her husband, John J. Ricci; three sons, John Ricci, Sea Girt, Michael Ricci, Manasquan, and Billy Ricci, Jersey City; one daughter, Carla A. Marsh, Bayonne; two sisters, Mary Sivori, Belmar, and Helen Swenton, Piscataway; seven granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren.

Sea Girt resident Bertram 'Bud' Slanhoff died Sunday, March 25 in his home.
He was 83 years old.
Born in New York City, Mr. Slanhoff lived in Scarsdale and Mt. Vernon, both New York, before moving to Sea Girt six and one-half years ago.
He earned a degree in interior design from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, N.Y.
He was the owner of Slanhoff Manufacturing Company, Mt. Vernon, N.Y., which built convention exhibits, and he was an inventor and held many patents.
He was an active member of the Manasquan River Group of Artists.
He was an Army Air Corps veteran, serving as a bombardier.
He was predeceased in 1972 by his first wife, Rosilyn Slanhoff.
Surviving are his wife, Eileen Dunn Slanhoff; one daughter and son-in-law, Susan S. and Bill Zarchy, Albany, Calif., two stepsons and their wives, John and Elizabeth Reddy, and Alan and Susan Reddy, all of Pelham, N.Y.; and eight grandchildren, Rebecca and Daniel Zarchy, and Rita, J.J., Eileen, Danny, Michael, and Christopher Reddy.
Funeral arrangements are from the Neary-Quinn Funeral Home, Manasquan. A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Apr. 1 in the funeral home.
Anthony P. Campi
Sea Girt resident Anthony P. Campi died Thursday, Nov. 5 in his home.
He was 80 years old.
Born in Netcong, Mr. Campi lived in South Orange for many years and in Livingston for 10 years before moving to Sea Girt seven years ago.
He was the owner/operator of Anthony's of 5th Avenue, and later of the Mardi Gras Salon, South Orange, for 25 years before retiring in 1973. He later owned the Wild Flowers Emporium Restaurant, Livingston.
He was a communicant of St. Mark's Church, Sea Girt, and a member of its Holy Name Society and Social Concerns Committee.
He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local No. 68, West Caldwell, the Old Guard, Livingston, and the Giblin Association, and a charter and longtime member of the Knights of Columbus, South Orange.
He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Mary T. Culhane Campi; four sons, Vincent, Millburn, Michael, Short Hills, Anthony, Sea Girt, and Patrick, New York City; one daughter, Kathleen Galvin, Maplewood; one sister, Mary Rapissardi, Whippany; and seven grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Brendan, Sean, Shannon, Patrick, and Claire.
