Catherine A. Saulnier
Spring Lake and Vero Beach, Fla., resident Catherine A. Saulnier died Wednesday, Jan. 29 in Monmouth County Care Center Geraldine Thompson Division, Wall Township.
She was 78 years old.
Born in Jersey City, Mrs. Saulnier lived there before moving to Spring Lake in 1968.
She was a graduate of Dickinson High School.
She was employed for 25 years as a telephone operator with AT&T, Neptune, before retiring in 1987.
She was a communicant of St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake.
She was a member of the AT&T Telephone Pioneers and Jerry Lynch's Social and Civic Club.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years, Albert Sulnier; two sons, Albert and Dennis; two daughters, Kathleen Hellriegel, and Eileen Schultz; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements were from the O'Brien Funeral Home, Wall Township.
Jean D. Dolan
Spring Lake Heights resident Jean D. Dolan died Friday, Jan. 31.
She was 84 years old.
Born in Elizabeth, Mrs. Dolan lived in Roselle before moving to Spring Lake Heights 20 years ago.
She was a homemaker.
She was a communicant of St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Dolan.
Surviving are three sons, James, Point Pleasant, Edward, Branchburg, and William, Cranford; one daughter, Mary Keselowsky, Oakhurst; one brother, Edward Donnelly, Florida; and 10 grandchildren.

Jane Kelly Lowe
Spring Lake resident Jane Kelly Lowe died Wednesday, Jan. 29 in her home.
Born in Paterson, Mrs. Lowe lived in Clifton before moving to Spring Lake 33 years ago.
She earned a master's degree from Montclair State College.
She was employed for many years as a social studies teacher with JFK High School, Paterson, and served as chairman of the department for 10 years before retiring in 1970.
She was a communicant of St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake, a member of the church's SCAMP organization, and served as a teacher with the church's Holy Innocents Society. She was also a member of St. Mark's Rosary Altar Society, Sea Girt.
She was predeceased in 1980 by her loving husband, John W. Lowe, and in 1987 by her son, John A.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas F. and Georgina Calcines-Lowe, Wayne, and Brian J. and Joan Lowe, Manasquan; one daughter and son-in-law, Jane P. and Merrill Hawke, Brielle; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
Funeral arrangements were from the O'Brien Funeral Home, Wall Township.

Florence Messina
Asbury Park resident Florence Messina, formerly of Spring Lake, died Thursday, Jan. 30 in Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune.
She was 82 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Messina lived in New Milford, Ringwood, and Spring Lake before moving to Asbury Park three years ago.
She was a homemaker.
She was a communicant of St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake.
She was a member of the Rosary Altar Society of St. Joseph's Church, Oradell.
She was predeceased in 1974 by her loving husband, Stephen S. Messina; and her three brothers, John, Harold and George McNiece.
Surviving are four sons, Stephen, Robert, Richard and Dean; two daughters, Leslie Lesko and Stephanie Messina; and 11 grandchildren.

Alice C. Angelucci
Avon-By-The-Sea resident Alice C. Donohue Angelucci died Thursday, Jan. 30 in St. Barnabas Hospice at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch.
She was 79 years old.
Born in Bayonne, Mrs. Angelucci lived in Jersey City, Middletown and Bradley Beach before moving to Avon eight years ago.
She was a homemaker.
She was a communicant of Church of the Ascension, Bradley Beach.
She was a member of the Breast Cancer Woman's Support Group at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune, and of the Sweet Adeline's singing group.
She was predeceased by her three brothers, Matthew, Harry, and Jeremiah Donohue.
Surviving are her husband of 56 years, John J.; two sons, John J., Oceanport, and Jeffrey, Atlantic Highlands; two daughters, Marcia Mary A. Pettit, Jackson, and Sharon Delaney, Rumson; five brothers, Edward, Egg Harbor Township, Eugene, Woodland, Texas, Robert, Brick Township, John, Barnegat, and Kenneth Donohue, Morristown; and five grandchildren, Michael, Maggie and Lauren Delaney, and Andrea and Nicholas Angelucci.

Josephine Cerniglia
Brevard, N.C., resident Josephine Cerniglia, formerly of South Belmar, died Wednesday, Jan. 29 in Ivy Hill Health & Retirement Center, Brevard, N.C.
She was 92 years old.
Born in Palermo, Italy, Mrs. Cerniglia lived in South Belmar for 30 years before moving to North Carolina seven years ago.
She was employed as a seamstress in New York City before retiring.
She was a communicant of St. Catharine Church, Spring Lake.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Rochelle Park.
She was predeceased in 1971 by her husband, Victor Cerniglia.
Surviving are one son, Anthony, Tuckerton; one daughter, Stephanie Dardaganis, Daytona Beach, Fla.; one brother, Michael Scaduto, Wall Township; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Jacob M. Suta
Belmar resident Jacob M. Suta died Monday, Feb. 3 in Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune.
He was 87 years old.
Bonr in Hudson, N.Y., Mr. Suta lived in Newark and Sayreville before recently moving to Belmar.
He was employed as an iron assemblyman with Geri Metal, Kenilworth.
He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church for the Deaf, Newark.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Antoinette; two sons, Jake, Pennsylvania, and Robert Swain, Old Bridge; three daughaters, Carol and June, both of Lake Hiawatha, and Rosemarie George, Belmar; one brother, Mike Suta, Florida; one sister, Ann Kane, Bridgewater; and 10 grandchildren.

Mary Coleman Carty
Brielle resident Mary Coleman Carty died Wednesday, Jan. 22 in her home.
She was 69 years old.
Born in East Orange, Mrs. Carty lived most of her life in Bloomfield before moving to Brielle six years ago.
She was a homemaker.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dr. George J. Carty.
Surviving are two sons, George T. Carty, Brielle, and Joseph E. Carty, Basking Ridge; two daughters, Kathleen Brennan, Marietta, Ga., and Mary Patricia Dort, Ridgewood; one brother, Richard E. Coleman, Waterford, Va.; and six grandchildren, C.B., Jeffrey, Owen and Taylor Katherine Brennan, and Brian and Matthew Carty.

Ursula M. Moore
Falmouth, Maine resident Ursula Maclearie Moore, formerly of Belmar, died Monday, Feb. 3 in Falmouth-by-the-Sea Nursing Home.
She was 78 years old.
Born in Brooklyn, Mrs. Moore lived in Belmar before moving to Flamouth, Maine.
She attended Nyack College.
Mrs. Moore was a gracious and loving influence, and was actively involved in church ministries, especially in the area of music as pianist and playing the xylophone. She served for many years as the First Lady of Belmar during the time her husband, Peter Maclearie, was mayor.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Peter Maclearie, her second husband, Wallace Moore, her parents, Wilhelm and Minnie Eberhardt, and her stepson, Peter H. Maclearie.
Surviving are one son, Timothy Maclearie, Ocean Grove; one daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Peter Gray, Falmouth, Maine; one brother, Dietrich Eberhardt, Theodore, Ala.; two sisters, Louise Gibson, Whiting, and Inga Clayton, Cumming, Ga.; two granddaughters, Heather Gray, Eashchester, N.Y., and Elinor Gray, Los Angeles; a stepdaughter and her husband, Jean M. and Rexford Boda, Kissimmee, Fla.; a daughter-in-law, Florence Maclearie, Spring Lake Heights; 14 step grandchildren; and 25 step great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are from the Johnson-McGinley Funeral Home, Wall Township. Visiting will be 6 to 9 p.m. tomorrow in the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Shore Christian Center, Wall Township.
