He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of American Legion Post 69, Carlstadt. He was a former member of the Travelers Golf Club, East Rutherford, and had been the East Rutherford recreation director. He was a coach and past president of the East Rutherford Little League, and coach for the Carlstadt-East Rutherford Wildcats Football Team. Arrangements: Kimak Funeral Home, Carlstadt.
