William P. “Bill” Ruane, 53, of Hammonton, died Monday, July 4, 2011.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a Hammonton resident for 30 years. Bill was an avid fisherman and Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Predeceased by: mother, Rosalie Gertrude Ruane. Surviving him are: wife, Sandy Ruane (nee Andrescavage; father, Joseph Leo Ruane of Philadelphia and North Wildwood; sisters, Kathleen Bonner (Michael) of Swedesboro, Eileen Ruane-Graham (Joseph) of Ocean City, Rosemarie Ruane Veltri of North Wildwood; nieces and nephews, Michele Schmidt (Walter), Elizabeth, Michael and Mara Veltri, Joseph, William, Rosalie, and Noelle Graham, Jordan, Stephen Andrescavage; great-nephews, Walter and Samuel Schmidt.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Anthony. Interment will be private.

David Cruz Jr., 20, of Hammonton, died Sunday, July 31, 2011, at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Atlantic City.
Born in Somers Point, he was a lifelong Hammonton resident. David was a graduate of Hammonton High School Class of 2009. He worked at the Heritage Assisted Living in Hammonton. He was a member of the A.W.O.L. Motorcycle Club. He was excited to begin school at WyoTech in Daytona Beach, Fla., where he was going to learn to be a motorcycle technician specializing in Asian made motorcycles.
Surviving him are: mother and stepfather, Delia and Juan Pacheco of Hammonton; father, David Cruz of Pleasantville; sisters, Adriana Quirindongo of Egg Harbor Township, Belinda Cruz (Bill Kurz) of Hammonton; paternal grandmother, Clara Cruz of Pleasantville; nephew, Ricardo Quirindongo of Hammonton; aunt, Cynthia Cruz of Buena; many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 6, at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish Church of St. Martin DePorres followed by burial at Greenmount cemetery.

Anna Eickmeyer (nee Bailey), 63, of Elm, died Monday, August, 1, 2011, at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a lifelong resident of the Elm and Hammonton area. Before her retirement, she was a secretary at Ancora Psychiatric Hospital.
Predeceased by: husband, Jack Eickmeyer. Surviving her are: daughters and spouses: Lisa Lashley (Cliff) of Mullica, Karen Matejkovic (T.J.) of Alva, Fla., Michele Secrest (Ed) of Berlin; sister, Patty Bailey of Elm; brothers, Anthony Bailey (Fini) of Elm, Ed Bailey (Jim Chester) of Elm; grandchildren, Nicole DiCesare, Charles Zingrone, Waylon Matejkovic.

Thelma E. Bobst, 94, of Hammonton, died Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at Virtua Health Systems in Berlin.
Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong resident. Before retiring many years ago she worked as a bank teller at First Union Bank in Hammonton. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church in Hammonton.
Surviving her are: sister, Ruth Adams of Hammonton; niece and nephew, Lynn and Bill Schmitz; several great-nieces and nephews.

George Clayton Wilkens, 78, of Folsom, died Saturday, August 6, 2011, at Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Philadelphia.
Born in Abington, he was a lifelong southern New Jersey resident. He owned and operated Wilkens Auto Repair. He was honored by the Hammonton Chamber of Commerce in 1975 and 1979 for his work as a mechanic. George was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War where he attained the rank of CD3. He was a member of the American Legion F.A. Funston Post 186, the VFW, the DAV Chapter 66, all in Hammonton, and he was also a member of the National Rifle Association.
Predeceased by: brother, Peter Wilkens. Surviving him are: wife, Phyllis Wilkens (nee Giannini); children, Steven A. Wilkens Sr. and his wife Lorie of Galloway, Debra Grasso and Lester Keller, Shirley Wells and John Armstrong, Carolin Sacco and her husband Bruce, Kenny Wilkens and his wife Sherri all of Hammonton; grandchildren, Lesley Wright (Bryan), Matthew Grasso (Kristy), Steven A. Wilkens Jr., Amanda Grasso, Liza Johnston (Ben), Stephanie Wells, David Sacco, Danielle Wilkens, Michael Sacco, Paul Keller; great-grandchildren, Bryan, Brody, Brayden Wright, Ella, Lila Johnston, Taylor Grasso; brother, Joseph L. Gloria Maria Tirado, 82, of Hammonton, died Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at Absecon Manor.
Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico, she was a resident of New Jersey since 1958.
Surviving her are: sons, David Tirado and his wife Anita of Hammonton, James Tirado of Collings Lakes; daughter, Veronica Raeford and her husband Sylvester of Galloway; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

Josephine Bartolone (nee Falco), 81, of Hammonton, died Sunday, September 25, 2011, at AtlantiCare in Atlantic City.
Born in Waterford Township, she was a Hammonton resident most of her life. Josephine along with her husband Carmen established C&C Fuel in 1968. They also founded Carmen’s Coldcuts in Bellmawr. Josephine was also employed in the food service department at Ancora, the deli at Shop Rite, a bus driver for the Hammonton Board of Education, and WB Kessler Clothier. Josephine’s greatest passion was to cook for her family.
Predeceased by: parents, Daniel and Louise Falco; brother, Roxy Falco; sisters, Ida Gulitte, Mary Caracciolo, Rose Giglio. Surviving her are: husband, Carmen; children, Louise (Matt) Ingemi, Carmen Jr. and his fiancée Dana Regalbuto all of Hammonton; loving grandchildren, Matthew, Gabriella Ingemi, Carmen M., Brittany, Cindy Bartolone.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing today, September 28, from 6:30 – 9 p.m. and Thursday, September 29, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish St. Joseph Church. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

William L. Cone, peacefully died Wednesday, August 31, 2011.
Born March 21, 1944 in Madison, Ohio, Bill was a United States Air Force veteran and came to the Medford Lakes area in 1978 where he worked in the packaging industry founding several companies, most notably Pro-Motion Industries in Hammonton. He was an EMT on the Medford Lakes Emergency Squad and served as Captain before retiring to Florida.
Surviving him are: sister, Bonnie Scollon; first wife, Patricia Cone; current wife, Starr Cz-Cone; son, Shawn and his wife Beth; daughter Kelly and her husband Rob; grandchildren, Dylan, Trey Cone, Stephanie, Briana, Knol Hodgson. He will be fondly remembered by many for his sense of humor and warm smile.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, October 1, at 11 a.m. at The Cathedral of the Woods.

Louis C. Ricci, 85, of Hammonton, died Saturday, September 24, 2011, at Shore Memorial Hospital.
Born in Hammonton, he was a lifelong resident. Mr. Ricci was a United States Navy veteran of World War II and he served on the U.S.S. Wisconsin. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post No. 1026 in Hammonton. He worked for many years as Store Manager at the A&P grocery store in Hammonton and then later worked at Whitehall Laboratories in Hammonton. He loved to tell jokes, read, spend time with his cats, go to the casino, family dinners, and he was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan.
Predeceased by: parents, Marie and Carl Ricci; brothers, John, Andre Ricci; sister, Odile Evans. Surviving him are: wife of 63 years, Josephine Ricci (nee DiSalvo); daughter, Angela Shami; son-in-law, Sabih Shami of Northfield; grandsons, Rehman Shami and his wife Sarah of Chicago, Adam Shami of Northfield; great-grandson, Elan Joshua Shami of Chicago; brother, James Ricci and his wife Cathy of Linwood; sisters, Chantal Holcombe of Hammonton, Claudette Ricci of Lancaster; brother-in-law, Joseph DiSalvo and his wife Carole of Downers Grove, Ill.; sisters-in-law, Joan Ricci of Buena, Mae Schuh of West Deptford; many nieces, nephews, and faithful felines.

Edward A. Cunningham Jr., 80, of Long Lake, N.Y. and formerly a resident of Newport, R.I., died Saturday, September 10, 2011 peacefully surrounded by his family.
An avid Adirondack outdoorsman, Mr. Cunningham enjoyed many activities with his family and friends, boating, camping, hunting deer, hiking, fishing, and flying small aircraft. He was an excellent dancer and danced with his youngest daughter just six weeks ago at her wedding. He enjoyed traveling having visited many countries around the world. Mr. Cunningham graduated from Mount Saint Michael’s High School in the Bronx, N.Y. He then attended Holy Cross College as a pre-law student until he was called to serve in the Korean War during his junior year of college. He was honorably discharged as a sergeant from the United States Marine Corps after serving in the Korean War. Later he met and married Dr. Colette Kieran on September 26, 1957. They were married in St. Mary’s Church in the Bronx. Mr. Cunningham worked in the casualty insurance business on Wall Street and attended night school to complete his college degree. He began his family life on Mayflower Avenue in the Bronx. Mr. and Dr. Cunningham moved to Newport, R.I. in 1967 when Mr. Cunningham began working for Allendale Insurance in Johnston, R.I. In May of 1971 Edward and Colette lost their son, Liam Joseph Cunningham after just three weeks of life. In 1975, Mr. Cunningham moved to New York after his and his wife Colette divorced and eventually moved to Monroe, N.Y. with his second wife and stepchildren. He later retired to Long Lake, N.Y. and then to Indian Lake, N.Y. with his companion Phyllis Williams. He lived his final years in Long Lake, N.Y. with his companion Marge Klevitch. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Cunningham and his wife Angie of N.Y., Jane Mitrovic of Hammonton, Maureen Tensfeldt and her husband Raymond of Ariz., Beatrice Rose Easton and her husband Donald of Pa., 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; stepchildren, Tracy Bureau, Susan M. Angelo, Geoff Manganaro all of N.Y.
