Julia Nicastro (nee DeMauro), 92, of Hammonton, died peacefully at the Health Center of Galloway where she was a resident the past five years.
Born in New York City, she was a resident of Hammonton most of her life. A homemaker, she was a parishioner of St. Martin de Porres R.C. Church.
Predeceased by: husband, Thomas; daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Ann and Richard Haddy. Surviving her are: son, Thomas W. Nicastro; sister, Matilda Woolf; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Saturday, February 27, at the Landolfi Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres R.C. Church. Burial will be at Greenmount cemetery.

Stanley Glazewski Jr., 50, of Hammonton, died Monday, February 15, 2010, at Virtua Hospital in Berlin.
Born in New York, he has been a Hammonton resident since 1980. He worked for Trump Marina for 11 years and Harrahs and Resorts for more than four years. He also worked for Donio Farms. Stanley was a Boy Scout Leader in Hammonton, a member and officer of South Jersey Amateur Radio, a member of the Pack Rats, CB – Little Britches and also MARS Military Radio, call sign KC2HDR.
Surviving him are: wife, Deborah; son, Stephen both of Hammonton; mother, Marie Barbarino of Hammonton; brother, Vincent Glazewski of N.J.; sister, Lisa (David) Short of Glassboro; mother and father-in-law, Pearl and Bill Lee; sister-in-law, Karen (Billy) Petuskey; loving uncle of David and Robert Short, Jillian and Jena Petuskey; nephew of Ann (Warren) Christensen.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services on Saturday, February 20, at the Marinella Funeral Home. Burial will be private.

Charles Lawrence “Chuckie” Minnis, 52, of Atlantic City, died Monday, March 22, 2010, at home.
Born in Hammonton, he was a long time resident of Folsom before moving to Atlantic City 28 years ago. Mr. Minnis was a graduate of Hammonton High School. He worked as an audio visual technician for Resorts International Hotel & Casino. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local No. 68.
Predeceased by: wife, Wilma Lee Minnis (nee Tharp); parents, George L. and Margaret Minnis. Surviving him are: brothers, George L. Minnis III, Carlton L. Minnis; nephews, Carlton Minnis Jr., George L. Minnis IV; niece, Talia M. Minnis all of Folsom.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services on Saturday, March 27, at the Carnesale Funeral Home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Atlantic City cemetery in Pleasantville.

Marie A. Rahelic (nee DiSalvo), 84, of Elm, died Sunday, March 28, 2010, at AtlantiCare Medical Center in Galloway Township.
Born in Philadelphia, she was a resident of Elm for 26 years. Before retiring she worked in the accounts payable department for Patriot Manufacturing in Hammonton. Mrs. Rahelic enjoyed singing, listening to music, and spending weekends with her late husband, William. She excelled in mathematics and problem solving. She was an extremely compassionate woman and was the first to give help to any family member in need especially during the toughest of times.
Predeceased by: husband, William J. Rahelic; parents, Antonio and Angelina DiSalvo; brothers, Anthony, Angelo DiSalvo. Surviving her are: sisters, Josephine Ricci and her husband Louis of Hammonton, Mae Schuh of Thorofare; brother, Joseph DiSalvo, PhD and his wife Carole of Chicago; numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing today, March 31, from 9 – 10:30 a.m. at the Carnesale Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church. Entombment will be at Greenmount cemetery.

Annette L. Ciance (nee Palma), 66, of Egg Harbor Twp, died March 27 at home.
Born and raised in Hammonton, she moved to Egg Harbor Township in 1998. Annette worked for New Jersey State Casino Control Commission and formerly worked at Ancora State Hospital.
Predeceased by: parents, Anthony and Jennie Palma; daughter, Lisa Ann Mazza. Surviving her are: son, John J. Mazza Jr. and his wife Julia of Hampsted, N.C.; sisters, Patty DiBona and her husband Frank of Hammonton, Angelina Osborn and her late husband Thomas of Williamstown; grandchildren, James and Jenna Mazza.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation today, March 31, from 9:30 – 11 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. at the Marinella Funeral Home. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

Marie A. “Dilly” Ruberton (nee Ordille), 82, of Hammonton, died Friday, July 16, 2010, peacefully at home.
Born in Atlantic City, she was a Hammonton resident for 56 years. She was a graduate of Pleasantville High School and Georgian Court in 1951 with a degree in Business Administration. She was employed for 17 years as a teacher at St. Joseph Elementary School. She founded and coached the first softball team at St. Joseph High School. She was also employed at Harrah’s Casino in Atlantic City for 15 years where her mathematical expertise was highly valued. She was a volunteer for the Juvenile Conference Committee of the Atlantic County Superior Court for many years. Dilly had many interests. She was an avid sports enthusiast and Phillies fan. She loved to cook and entertain for family and friends and was a wonderful hostess. Dilly enjoyed playing cards, walking daily with friends, frequenting restaurants and watching all kinds of sporting events. Dilly had many friends because she was a friend to everyone. She defined the word friend in every aspect assisting everyone and everyone she knew. Dilly was also an active participant in many groups and club activities during her lifetime. Dilly’s primary love was her family.
Predeceased by: husband, Richard Ruberton Sr.; brothers, Louis Ordille, Henry Ordille. Surviving her are: devoted son, Rick Ruberton and his wife Linda; precious granddaughter, Briana Marie Ruberton all of Hammonton; brothers, John Ordille of Northfield, Matteo Ordille of Atlantic City; sister, Anne Jannetty of Absecon.
Relatives and friend attended a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, July 20, at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Parish at St. Martin de Porres R.C. Church followed by burial at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

Bertha Barresi (nee Silipena), 89, of Collingswood and formerly of Hammonton died Sunday, July 18, 2010, at home.
Born in Hammonton, she was a 1938 graduate of Hammonton High School. Bertha worked as a hairdresser in Philadelphia and at GEX and Kmart. Bertha was a past president of Dudley Elementary School PTA in Camden. She was a member of the Cirrolo Club in Haddon Heights and the Italian American Club. Bertha especially loved spending time with her family and friends.
Predeceased by: husband, Anthony “Barry” Barresi. Surviving her are: son, Anthony; daughter, Bonnie Kitching (Richard) all of Collingswood; dear sister of Arthur Silipena (Grace) of Hammonton, Harry Silipena of Florida, Catherine Cristeno of Audubon, Helen Mortelliti (Anthony), Dorothy Cassetta (Fred) both of Hammonton; grandchildren, Christopher, Audrey, Stephen, David; great-grandchildren, Anne, Charles, Francis, Daniel, Stephen.

Sebastian J. “William” Scordo, 79, of Winslow Township died Monday, November 8, 2010, at Virtua Hospital in Berlin.
Born in Winslow, he was a lifelong resident. Bill was a graduate of St. Joseph High School class of 1949. In 1936 his father started Scordo’s Body Shop in Hammonton. He began working with his father in 1949 and became the owner in 1971. Bill retired from the business in 1996. He was a member of the Army Reserves and the Sons of Italy of Hammonton. Bill loved fishing and his boats.
Predeceased by: son, William L.; wife, Phyllis (nee Morganweck); parents, Stanley and Katherine (nee Buckley); sister, Helen Christopher. Surviving him are: son, Carmen and his companion Mark Kasilowski of Hammonton; many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services on Thursday, November 11, at the Marinella Funeral Home followed by burial at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

Casimir “Kye” Coleman, 81, of Woodbury Heights, died Saturday, November 13, 2010, at home.
Born in Philadelphia, he lived in Oak Valley, N.J. before moving to Woodbury Heights. He retired from the International Brotherhood of Boilmakers. Kyle was a member of the Mantua Masonic Lodge No. 95 F&A.M., National Park Army and Navy Union USA Garrison Lodge #52 and the Shriners 32nd Degree Scottish Rite. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a master Woods Craftsman and built custom made guitars.
Surviving him are: wife, Betty (nee Kincaid); children, Karen Henry of Washington Township, Michael Coleman and his wife Cindy of Gibbstown, Michele Dains and her husband Chalie of Franklinville; sister, Halina C. Weglarski of Coatsville, Pa.; son-in-law, William Henry Jr.; grandchildren, Billy Henry III (Connie), Hugh McIntyre (Lilly), Katherine Short, Craig Dains, Charlene Dains, Michael Coleman (Joanne), Stephanie Coleman, Justin Short; great-grandchildren, Mason, Jordan Henry, Jessie McIntyre.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing today, November 17, from 10 a.m. – 12 noon at Southwood Baptist Church, 11 Griscom Lane, Woodbury, NJ 08096 with funeral services at 12 noon. Burial will be at Gloucester County Veterans Memorial cemetery.

William (Bill) Papsin, 83, died Wednesday, November 3, 2010.
Born in Newark, N.J., he was a resident in Vineland Veterans Home. Bill lived most of his life in Westfield and Hammonton. He was a veteran of the United States Navy during World War II. He worked almost two decades at Celanese Plastics in Newark, volunteered for the Westfield Fire Department, and held various positions in hospitals and casinos. Bill enjoyed deep sea fishing, crabbing, football, and bowling.
Predeceased by: his parents; brother, Richard Papsin. Surviving him are: brother, George Papsin and his wife Grace of Vera Beach, Fla.; sister-in-law, Virginia (Jean) Papsin of Westfield; daughters, Deborah Way and her husband Darren of Cannan, N.H., Patricia Rodgers and her husband Richard of Newport, Wash.; granddaughters, Jessica, Gracie, Michelle; several nieces and nephews.
