Anna A. Caruso (nee Angello), 93, of Hammonton, died March 5, 2007, at Mainland Manor Nursing Home in Pleasantville.
Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Caruso and her late husband owned and operated the M & B Cleaners in Hammonton from 1945-1975. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hammonton Moose Lodge and a member of the Mt. Carmel Society.
Beloved wife of the late Matthew D. Caruso Sr. Surviving her are: sons, Don Caruso and his wife Gracianne of Ambler, Pa., Matthew Caruso Jr. and his wife Marie of Hammonton, Joseph Caruso of Hammonton, Robert Caruso and his wife Nancy of Williamstown; grandchildren, Matthew Philip, Gracianne, Anna Marie, Matthew III, Joe, Nicholas, Heath, Randy, Robyn, Justin, Steven; great-grandchildren, Lauren, Amanda, Alexander, Katelyn, Joseph; siblings, Theresa Farina of Silver Springs, Md., Anthony Angello of Hammonton, Genevieve Angello of Silver Springs, Md., Dolores Anderson of Reston, Va., Marie Warner of Bethesda, Md., Edna Donahue of Columbus, the late Dominic Angello and James Angello.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on March 9 at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church followed by burial at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

Albert A. Tomasello, 54, of Hammonton, died March 8, 2007, at Virtua HealthCare in Voorhees.
Born in Hammonton, he was an area resident all his life. He worked as a truck driver for Santelli Trucking since 1992.
Predeceased by: father, John; sister, Carol. Surviving him are: wife, Barbara; sons, Albert A. Jr., Christopher; daughter, Nicolette all at home; stepchildren, Stephen Fiocchi, Nichole Ampole; mother, Helen Tomasello; brother, John Jr. “Butch”; sisters, Barbara Augustine, Mary Lou Spiduro.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on March 13 at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church followed by burial at Greenmount cemetery.

Louis P. “Reds” Amoriello, 67, of Little Egg Harbor and formerly of Waterford, died March 10, 2007, at Arcadia Health and Rehab in Tuckerton.
Born in Waterford, he retired from Lucca’s Bakery in Winslow after 20 years of service.
Predeceased by: parents, Angello and Maria; brothers, Anthony Oropollo, James Oropollo. Surviving him are: sons, Louis and his wife Iris of Little Egg Harbor, Steven and his wife Diane of Atco, Michael and his wife Nicole of Gibbsboro; brother, Michael of Waterford; sister, Antoinette Terpolilli of Atco; grandchildren, Andrew, Luigi, Stevie, Jaden, Chace.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on March 15 at 9 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, 439 Pennington Avenue, Waterford. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven cemetery.

Robert L. “Bobbo” Panichello, 49, of Cedar Brook, died suddenly on June 1, 2007.
Bobbo was the founder of Soundteck Entertainment. He was a respected DJ for many events in the area. Bobbo also enjoyed fishing. He was a kind gentleman who was a devoted son, husband and friend. He touched the lives of everyone.
Predeceased by: mother, Josephine (nee LaMotta). Surviving him are: wife, Alice (nee Cioffi); father, Robert W. Panichello; father-in-law Ralph Cioffi Sr. of West Berlin; mother-in-law Dolores Sofian of Brunswick, Maine; brothers-in-law, Ralph Cioffi Jr. of Williamstown, Dennis Cioffi of West Berlin; nephew, Chris Cioffi; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.
Relative and friends are invited to attend his viewing tonight from 6 – 9 p.m. at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, N.J., and again on June 7 from 10 – 11 a.m. at the Assumption R.C. Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Drive, Atco, N.J. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.

John J. Merlino, 79, of Hammonton, died June 2, 2007, at his residence.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a resident of Hammonton most of his life. John retired from the Roanwell Electronic Corp., Elwood. He was a member and past secretary for the Assumption Society and a member of the K of C Pallotti Council #3471.
Surviving him are: wife, Celia E. (nee Sannasard); daughter, Kathleen Benedetti and her husband Carlo; son, Michael J. and his wife Victoria, all of Hammonton; sisters-in-law, Anna Genovese of Folsom, Josephine Barr of Galloway Township; brothers, Joseph of Cherry Hill, Samuel and his wife Jayne of Egg Harbor City; grandchildren, Jennifer, Lisa, Allen Merlino, Paul, Elizabeth Benedetti; many cousins, nieces, nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing today at 8:30 a.m. at the Landolfi Funeral Home followed by a funeral liturgy at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph R.C. Church. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

David L. Piccari Sr., 68, of Mays Landing, died June 3, 2007.
Born in Philadelphia, he was an area resident most of his life. He worked as a facilities supervisor at Atlantic-Cape Community College for 18 years. He also worked for Service Master in the casinos.
Predeceased by: parents, Joseph and Frances; brother, Joseph. Surviving him are: wife, Marie Piccari (nee Pangoras); sons, Joseph and his wife Kim, David Jr. and his wife Sandy all of Hammonton; daughter, Christina and her companion Anthony Mazzone of Mays Landing; brother, Michael Piccari and his wife Cathy of Feasterville, Pa.; sisters, Pat Villani and her husband Bob, Joyce Raynor and her husband Bill all of Hammonton, Marlene Stahl and her husband Ed of Philadelphia, Margaret Morris and her husband Charles of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; sister-in-law, MaryAnn Piccari of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Joseph Jr., Tatum, Kayla, David III, Vincent; many nieces and nephews.

Dorothy MacNiven Anastasia, 64, of Centerville, Md., died May 30, 2007.
Born in Chester, Pa. she lived in South River before moving to Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated from South River High School and Drake Business College, and attended Indiana State University. She lived in Caracas, Venezuela from 1990 – 1994 where she was president of PSTA of Colegio International de Caracas and then lived in Kobe, Japan from 1994 – 2001 where she was president of the Kobe International Women’s Club for several years before retiring to Centreville, Md.
Predeceased by; parents, William and Helen MacNiven; brother, Brian. Surviving her are: loving husband of 43 years, Frank Anastasia; sons, Frank III and his wife Melissa of Mason, Ohio, Lieutenant Colonel Michael W. and his wife Mi Hwa of Seoul, Korea, William and his wife Amy of Mason, Ohio; daughter, Colleen Brown and her husband Barry of Long Meadow, Mass; brothers, William MacNiven of Belmar, N.J., Robert MacNiven of Millstone, N.J.; grandchildren, Grace, Joe, Frank IV, Nick, Joe, Michelle Anastasia, Helen, William Brown.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on June 4, at St. Martin de Porres Church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Martha “Marty” Johnson (nee Holdforth), 77, of Collings Lakes, died April 19, 2007.
Marty moved to Collings Lakes when the main street was just a dirt road. She retired from NAFEC with 27 years of government service, had previously worked at the Veteran’s Administration, and was active in the Eastern Star.
Surviving her are: sister, Louise Kline; brother, Sam Holdforth; twin sister, Mary Murphy; children, Terry Johnson and his wife Chris, Jeanne Logan and her husband Rick; grandchildren, Lisa Johnson, Joy Allen and her husband Ben, Beth Logan, Rachel Logan; great-grandchildren, Marcus Johnson, Ellie Allen, Madeleine Allen. Also surviving her are: mother of Lisa and Joy, and Terry’s former wife, Wendy Clerc; godson, Donald Cooper.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on June 9, at the Abundant Living Church, Route 54 and Jackson Road in Collings Lakes (next door to the Newtownville Fire Company Firehouse) at 2:30 p.m.
Frank J. Scordo Jr. 84, of Hammonton, died May 26, 2007.
He was a retired engineer for Ford Motors, General Motors and Chrysler Corporation.
Predeceased by: wife, Victoria Langone. Surviving him are: son, Frank III; brother, William; sisters, Mary Mazzagatti, Antoinette Carapallotti, Florence Vitale; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services on June 1 at the Marinella Funeral Home followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.
