Audrey H. Hitman (nee Siegelbaum), 74, of Hammonton, died November 12, 2006, at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City.
Born in Kansas City, Kan., she resided in Hammonton since 1957. She lovingly raised a family and worked as the bookkeeper in the family owned business, K & H Auto store, until her retirement. Audrey was an avid reader who enjoyed sharing her books and knowledge of the variety of subjects that interested her greatly. While raising her children, she painted, sketched and created needlepoint art for her family. She was an enthusiastic audience and supporter of her husband’s many musical pursuits and her children’s and grandchildren’s musical and artistic endeavors.
Surviving her are: husband of 49 years, Bob; son, Michael J. Hitman and his wife Vickie; daughter, Meyerah Melker and her husband David; grandchildren, Ariane Nunnciato and her husband Mike, Brandi Woodworth and her husband Bill, Samantha and Harrison Hitman, Ella, Perry and Regev Melker; great-grandsons, Wesley, Billy, Kyle and Matthew all of Hammonton; sister, Portia Siegelbaum and her husband Miguel Alfonso; nephews, Miguel Ernesto and Allan Alfonso. Also survived by: daughter, Anita Pickett and her husband Paul; grandsons, Lee, Meridan and Grey of Olympia, Wash.

Cosimo L. “Pete” Midure, 68, of Winslow, died November 7, 2006, at Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia.
Born in Atco, he lived in Winslow for the past 41 years. He was an operating engineer for Local 825 of Springfield for 25 years and a member of the Laborers International Union. He was a member of the Wagon Wheel Gunning Club and the St. Sosti Society of St. Anthony Church in Waterford.
Predeceased by: parents, Austin and Concetta Midure. Surviving him are: wife of 46 years, Lydia (nee Grover); devoted brother of Minnie Gallo and her husband Joe of Vineland, Joseph and his wife Mary Ann of Winslow, Nickie Craig and the late Bucky of Waterford, Delores Tomassetti and her husband Richard of Elm, Austin and his wife Marge of Waterford, Theresa Ensign and the late Donald of Kingston Springs, Tenn., Leo and his wife Cory of Braddock; several aunts and uncles; 17 nieces and nephews; 26 great-nieces and nephews; great-great niece; great-great nephew; five godchildren; special friend, Scott Miller and Vicki.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on November 13 at St. Anthony church followed by burial at Berlin cemetery.

Richard A. Carrelli, 40, of Collings Lakes, died November 11, 2006.
Born in Vineland, he was a life long resident of Collings Lakes. He graduated from Buena Regional High School in 1985. He was the owner and operator of Carrelli’s Janitorial Service. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Holy Martyrs Council No. 8718.
Surviving him are: parents, Thomas and Rosalyn Carrelli (nee Giacobbe) of Collings Lakes; brothers, Thomas Carrelli Jr. of Collings Lakes, Ronald Carrelli and his wife Anna of Hammonton, Edward Carrelli and his wife Melissa of Winslow, Carman Carrelli of Collings Lakes; sisters, Jennifer Foy and her husband Terry of Folsom, Colleen Alimenti and her husband Michael of Mays Landing; special friends, Shirley Phillips, Theresa and Joseph Kelly.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing today at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lakes Church in Collings Lakes followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

Anna V. Ripa (nee Rodio), age 87, of Hammonton, died November 13 at S.J. Hospital in Vineland, N.J.
Born in Hammonton, she was a lifelong resident. She was a member of the Hammonton Senior Citizens, Hammonton Bowling Leagues, the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union and an avid bingo player.
Predeceased by: husband Nuncie Sr. and son Nuncie Jr.
Surviving her are: daughter Arlene R. Fortunato, of Hammonton; granddaughter Ashley Anne Ripa Fortunato, of Hammonton; brother Nicholas Rodio, of Estero, Florida; sisters Florence Luca, of Estell Manor and Rita Ransom and Eleanor Furlong of Naples, Florida.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her viewing on Saturday, November 18 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lakes Church, located at 19 Malaga Road in Collings Lakes, N.J. with Mass at 11 a.m.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.

Anthony C. Azzara, 79, of Hammonton, died November 29, 2006, at the Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center in Pomona.
Born in Hammonton, he was a life long resident. A United States Army Veteran of World War II, he served in the European African Middle Eastern Campaign. He was a member of the VFW Passalaqua Post 1026, D.A.V., and M. B. Taylor F & A.M. Lodge, all of Hammonton. Mr. Azzara owned and operated the Imperial Tire Distributor for many years in Hammonton and was known as “Tony Tires.” He formerly served as chairman of the Hammonton Shade Tree Commission and the Board of Health.
Surviving him are: wife, Phyllis (nee Presti); daughter, Cathie Leeman and her husband Harold, a retired Army Lt. Col. From Roanoke, Texas; step daughter, Kim Danks and her husband Clint of Hammonton; son, Paul Azzara of St. Louis, Mo.; step son, Vic Walters and his wife Donna of Folsom; grandchildren, Brandi Schank, Lindsay and Sarah Danks, Vic Walters and his wife Jen, Jason and Eric Walters; great-grandson, Logan Parker Walters.
Funeral services were private.

Aurea Mendoza, 83, of Little Egg Harbor, died November 30, 2006, at Seacrest Village in Ocean County.
Born in Puerto Rico, she moved to New York in the 1950’s and then to Little Egg Harbor in the 1970’s.
Predeceased by: husband, Enrique. Surviving her are: son, Juan Cruz of Little Egg Harbor; daughters, Mary Hunter of Morris Plains, Carmen Clark of Pomona, Aida Purdy and her husband Bruce of Tuckerton, Maria Martinez and her husband Jerry of Hammonton; brother, Sergio Calderon of Puerto Rico; sisters, Carmen Cintron of Bronx, N.Y., Anna Nicola of Egg Harbor, and the late Lucille Ramos; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends attended a Mass of Christian Burial on December 2, at St. Theresa’s Church followed by burial at Greenwood cemetery in Tuckerton.

William Allen Messina of Maitland, Fla., died December 1, 2006, at Florida Hospital.
Born in Hammonton, he was a United States Navy veteran of World War II. Following the war, he attended Cornell University in New York, where he obtained bachelors and masters degrees in mechanical engineering. Mr. Messina moved to Maitland with his family in 1961. He started Better Plastics Inc., a plastics injection molding company for which he served as president and CEO until his passing. Mr. Messina’s career in the plastics manufacturing business was consistently characterized by innovation and creativity. Mr. Messina was a long time and active member of the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA.) He was also a member of the Cornell Society of Engineers, Cornell Alumni Association, Cornell Club of Central Florida, and he was a past president of the Cleveland, Ohio Section of the Society of Plastics Engineers.
Surviving him are: wife of 59 years, Edna; daughter, Bunny Jean Sabula and her husband Steve; son, William A. Messina Jr. and his wife LouAnn; grandsons, William A. Messina III and Ward James Messina.
Relatives and friends attended a funeral Mass on December 6 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Winter Park, Fla.

Andrea L. Santora (nee Cottrell), 60, of Collings Lakes, died November 28, 2006, at the Wm. B. Kessler Memorial Hospital.
Born in Camden, she was a lifelong Hammonton area resident. Mrs. Santora was a graduate of Hammonton High School. She served with the Collings Lakes Ambulance Squad as an emergency medical tech, past president, and she was a lifetime member. Mrs. Santora was a retired bus aide and driver with the Atlantic County Special Services.
Surviving her are: husband, Anthony Santora of Collings Lakes; daughter, Deborah Sbarra and her husband Scott of Hammonton; son, Anthony Santora and his wife Lisa of Collings Lakes; grandchildren, Charles and Dominique Sbarra, Anthony and Steven Santora.
Relatives and friend attended a Mass of Christian Burial on December 1 at Our Lady of the Lakes R.C. Church followed by burial at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

Katherine L. Mazza (nee Rinkle), 92, of Hammonton, died November 30, 2006, at Heritage Assisted Living in Hammonton.
Born in Pennsylvania, she was an area resident most of her life. Katherine was a member of the Altar Rosary Society of St. Martin’s Church.
Predeceased by: husband, Angelo A. Sr. Surviving her are: son, Angelo and his wife Dolores of Nesco; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends attended funeral services on December 5 at the Marinella Funeral Home followed by entombment at Holy Cross cemetery in Mays Landing.
