Mark Collison, infant, dies; services held

HAZLET - Services were held Monday for Mark Collison, the infant son of William and Mary Collison, Hemlock Avenue, who died Sunday at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.
Besides his parents, survivors are his sister, Maureen, at home; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paris Collison Sr., and his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Foots, Rutherford.
Arrangements were made by the Day Funeral Home, Keyport.
Services were to ho held today for Elizabeth Ryder, of Boulevard West, Cliffwood Beach, a retired dietician who died Saturday at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.
Born in Germany, Mrs. Ryder lived in Brooklyn, before moving to Cliffwood Beach 15 years ago.
She retired 15 years ago as a dietician at the Midwood Hospital, Brooklyn.
Her husband, William, died in 1954.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Weston of Aberdeen; two brothers, Otto Hess of New Milford and Herman Hess of Salisbury Mills, NY: two sisters, Mrs. Emma Aeck of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.. and Mrs. Edna Knipe of Bergenfield; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Burial was to be at Evergreen Cemetery, Brooklyn.
The Day Funeral Home, Keyport, is in charge of the arrangements.

Services held for Mrs. Bauman; burial in Brooklyn HAZLET - Services were to be held this morning for Mrs. Mildred Bauman, 70, of 12 Craig St., who died Sunday. Burial will be at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery, Brooklyn.
Mrs. Bauman moved from Brooklyn to Hazlet flight years ago. She was a communicant of St. Benedict's Church. She was the widow of John Bauman.
She is survived by two sons, Victor, with whom she lived, and John of Rockaway Point, N.Y.; a brother, John Kirchner of Glendale, NY.; a sister, Mrs. Loretta Verderber of Uniondale, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Margarite Brown dies at age 93; services tomorrow
COLTS NECK - Services will be held tomorrow at Holy Cross Church, Harrison, for Mrs. Margarite Brown of Woodfield Farm.
Mrs. Brown died Sunday at the age of 93.
She will be buried at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield.
Mrs. Brown came to Colts Neck seven years ago from Harrison.
She was a member of the Rosary Society of Holy Cross Church and belonged to Bonnie Doone Lodge No. 10 of the Daughters of Scotia.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Zita Kilbrige of Colts Neck; two sons, Hugh of Dover Township and Vincent DePaul of Washington Township; 17 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

Services held at St. Joseph's for Mary Williams
KEYPORT - Mrs. Mary Williams, 74, of 362 Broadway, was buried Monday at Shoreland Memorial Gardens, Hazlet, after services had been conducted at St. Joseph's Church.
Mrs. Williams died Friday at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.
Born in Cliffwood, she lived most of her life in Keyport.
She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. She was the widow of Howard Williams.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. William Haley, with whom she lived; two brothers in Keyport, Charles and Edward Quinn; two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Miller of Laurence Harbor and Mrs. Bertha Smalley of Hollywood, Fla.; two grandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren.

Andrew Kasztan dies at 18; police rule death a suicide
UNION BEACH - Services were held Saturday for Andrew Kasztan of 12 Dibling St., who committed suicide last week, according to borough police.
Kasztan, 18 years old, was found in a station wagon Wednesday morning at Conasconk Point near Front and Dock Streets.
Police said he was holding a 12-gauge shotgun.
One round had been fired into his head and one round was still in the chamber, police said.
Kasztan's mother, Mrs. George Pavlonnis, told the police she had argued with her son Tuesday night and that he had threatened to kill himself, according to police.
Dr. James Norton, assistant county medical examiner, conducted an autopsy Thursday and ruled the death a suicide, police said.
Born in Poland, Kasztan moved to Union Beach from Perth Amboy eight years ago.
He worked as a shipping clerk for the Garden State Shipping Co., Keasby.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Pavlonnis; two brothers at home, John Kasztan and George Pavlonnis; a sister, Renia Pavlonnis, at home; and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Kasztan of Perth Amboy.
Arrangements were made by the Day Funeral Home.

Services held in Middletown for Alison Dargue
HOLMDEL - Services were held Friday at Christ Episcopal Church, Middletown, for 14-year-old Alison Dargue of 6 Holmes Ct., who died Tuesday, Dec. 7. Miss Dargue was born in Rahway and lived in Holmdel for most of her life.
She was a student at Holmdel High School and a communicant of Christ Episcopal Church.
She was the daughter of Frank Dargue and the late Ruth Dargue.
In addition to her father, she is survived by a brother, Christopher, and three stepbrothers, Al, Toby, and John Avino, all at home, and her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jenisch of Fairview.
Arrangements were made by the John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank.

Charles Reynolds to be buried with military honors
HAZLET - Services will be held Friday at St. Benedict's Church for Army Cpl. Charles Reynolds Jr., 21, of 6 Dartmouth Drive.
Mr. Reynolds died Saturday from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Jolon, Calif., where he was stationed.
He will be buried will full military honors at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
Mr. Reynolds was born in the Bronx and moved to Hazlet in 1957.
He was graduated from Raritan High School in 1973 and joined the Army in 1974. He was stationed at Ft. Hunter-Liggett, Jolon.
He was a communicant of St. Benedict's Church.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reynolds Sr.; two brothers at home, Terrance and Sean; three sisters, Mrs. Patricia Fernandez of Farmingdale and Barbara and Kelly at home; and his paternal grandfather, Louis Reynolds of Flushing, N.Y.
The John W. Mehlenbeck Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
