Frank A. Grigoli, Aberdeen
Published July 18, 1984
A mass was celebrated Saturday at St. Joseph's Church, Keyport, for Frank A. Grigoli, 68, a Keyport shoemaker who died Thursday at John F. Kennedy Medical Center, Edison.
Born in Palermo, Sicily, Mr. Grigoli resided in Union Beach for many years until moving to the township in 1955.
Since 1958, he owned and operated Frank's Shoe Repair, Keyport.
Mr. Grigoli was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Anna Clemente; a son, Angelo, Middletown; six daughters, Lina Mascolino, Middletown, Gina Santa, Edgewater, Mamie McNally, Howell, Rosa Miller, Holmdel, and Josephine Tombs and Rita Zeizer, both of Union Beach; a brother, Vincent, Holmdel; a sister, Mamie Callagher, Ohio; 21 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Burial was at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport.
The Day Funeral Home, Keyport, was in charge of arrangements.

John J. Sefcik
Published July 18, 1984
HAZLET - A mass was celebrated Monday at St. Ann's Church, Keansburg, for John J. Sefcik, 72, who died Thursday at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank.
Mr. Sefcik lived most of his life in Newark.
He retired in 1977 as a carpenter for the Ranney Shcool, Tinton Falls, where he had worked for 15 years.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of VFW Post 4303, Keansburg.
Mr. Sefcik was a communicant of St. Ann's Church.
His wife, the former Madeline Watts, died in 1977.
Surviving are a daughter, Carolyn, with whom he lived; and a brother, Fredrick, Juno, Fla.
Mr. Sefcik was cremated.
The Laurel Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Tully J. Bagarozy, 67
Published July 18, 1984
MIDDLETOWN - A mass was to be celebrated today at St. Mary's Church, New Monmouth, for Tully J. Bagarozy, 67, of 21 Lawrence Circle, who died Monday at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank.
Born in New York, he resided in Elizabeth before moving to the township 27 years ago.
He was a self-employed industrial engineer.
An alumnus of St. Francis College, New York, Mr. Bagarozy attended Fordham University, the New York College of Engineering, and City College of New York.
He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
Surviving are his wife, the former Irene Persson; a daughter, Kathleen Macri, Wyckoff; four sons, Anthony, Toms River, Douglas, Brick, Roger and Drew, both at home; two sisters, Syria Collins, Englewood Cliffs, and Norma Circhio, Yonkers, N.Y.; and six grandchildren.
Burial was Mt. Cemetery.
The John F. Pfleger Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Samuel Viscardi, Aberdeen
Published July 18, 1984
ABERDEEN - A mass was celebrated Friday at St. Francis of Sales Church, Lodi, for Samuel Viscardi, 37, a teacher at the Strathmore Elementary School who died July 9 at Hackensack Medical Center after a long illness.
Born in Paterson, Mr. Viscardi had resided in Lodi and Matawan before moving to the township 12 years ago.
An elementary school teacher in the Matawan-Aberdeen school district 14 years, he had taught at Strathmore Elementary for the past five years.
Mr. Viscardi graduated from Montclair State College in 1969.
He was a member of the New Jersey Education Assn.
Surviving are his father, Joseph, Lodi; and a sister, Sandra, Berkeley.
Burial was at Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Paterson.

M. Freibaum, Middletown
Published July 18, 1984
MIDDLETOWN - Services were held Monday for Morris Freibaum, 61, who died Thursday at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank.
He was born in Long Branch and was a lifelong resident of Monmouth County.
Mr. Freibaum was the proprietor of the Circle Trailer Sales and Court, Eatontown, the Bayshore Mobil Manor, Keyport, and the Middletown Swim & Tennis Club.
He was a World War II Navy veteran, a member of Washington Lodge 9, F&AM, Eatontown, and the W. Palm Beach Fishing Club, Palm Beach, Fla.
Surviving are his wife, the former Anne Marie Stanek; two sons, Robert, Monmouth Beach, and John, the township; two daughters, Randi LaFountain, Rumson, and Joy, the township; a brother, Jack, Long Branch; and three grandchildren.
Mr. Freibaum was buried at Woodbine Cemetery, Oceanport.

Evelyn C. Serbe, Keyport
Published July 18, 1984
KEYPORT - Services were held Friday for Evelyn C. Serbe, 72, who died July 10 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.
Mrs. Serbe was born in Newark and had lived in Union before moving to the borough five months ago.
She was a switchboard operator for Economic Laboratories, Woodbridge, for 20 years. She retired in 1972.
Mrs. Serbe was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Hazlet.
Her husband, William T. Serbe, died in 1983.
Surviving are two sons, Bayard "Bob" W., Hazlet, and Gregory Ward, Wayne; two sisters, Ethel Peppard, New Jersey, and Helen Lauchley, Florida; and eight grandchildren.
The Bedle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

M. Shapinski, Middletown
Published July 18, 1984
MIDDLETOWN - A mass was celebrated Thursday at St. Mary's Church for Mary Shapinski, 73, of 12 Clarissa Drive, who died July 9 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank.
Born in Shamokin, Pa., she lived in Newark and Harrison.
Mrs. Shapinski moved to the borough two years ago.
She retired four years ago as a packer for C.S. Osborne Tool Manufacturers, Harrison, where she had worked for 30 years.
Mrs. Shapinski was a communicant of St. Mary's Church.
Her husband, Paul, died in 1950.
Surviving are a son, Ronald, the township; two brothers, John Surak, Phoenix, and Bernard Surak, Little Ferry; a sister, Kathy Zaleskie, Rochelle Park; and four grandchildren.
She was buried at Fairview Cemetery.
The John W. Mehlenbeck Funeral Home, Hazlet, was in charge of arrangements.
