Carolyn A. Wojtarowicz, age 60, of East Brunswick, died Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Born in New Brunswick, she lived there and in Highland Park before moving to East Brunswick 35 years ago.
She was communicant at St. Joseph's R.C. Church in New Brunswick.
Carolyn was pre-ceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Josephine Signor.
She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Andrew J. Wojtarowicz, a son, Scott Wojtarowicz, a brother, Kenneth Signor and a cousin, Barbara Csepei.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday, November 12, 2007 at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Somerset Street, New Brunswick. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Lynn Elizabeth Buzbee, age 50, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Her cause of death was a cerebral hemorrhage. Born in New York City and raised in Scarsdale, NY, she resided for many years in Marblehead, Massachusetts before moving to Highland Park three years ago. She attended Kirkland College and the University of Vermont and for several years worked with abused children in Burlington, Vermont before moving to Marblehead where she was employed for a number of years by an organization that provided help to abused women and their children. In addition, she worked in a similar capacity for the City of Lynn, Massachusetts.
After moving to Highland Park, Ms. Buzbee was employed as a free lance consultant to the Nomura Research Institute.
She was pre-deceased by her mother, Ellen Wade Buzbee in 2004.
She is survived by her father, John Buzbee, of New York City, her brothers, Stephen, of Highland Park, and William, of Atlanta, Georgia, and by her nieces, Tian and Seana, of Atlanta and her nephew, John, of Highland Park.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 9, 2007 at the Christ Episcopal Church, 5 Paterson Street, New Brunswick under the direction of the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Defense Fund, 25 E Street, Washington, DC 20001.

Rose M. Duffy, age 101, of Highland Park, died Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the McCarrick Care Center in Somerset.
Born in Oneida, PA, she resided in Highland Park for most of her life.
Rose had worked as a private duty nurse at St. Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick and was a lifetime member of the N.J. Nurses Association.
She was a devout communicant at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church in Highland Park and was also an active member of St. Paul's PTA, the Altar Rosary Society and the Church's senior citizens group. She was a 60 year member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Loretto.
Rose was pre-deceased by her husband, James A. Duffy, Sr. in 1963 and by two sisters, Nora Krobock and Catherine Pizanis.
She is survived by a daughter, Sister Roseanne Duffy, OSF, of Highland Park and a son, James A. Duffy, Jr. and his wife, Diane, of South Brunswick; two grandsons, James A. Duffy, III of New York City, John Duffy and his wife, Jill, of Newtown, PA, a grand-daughter, Kimberly Tuite and her husband, Robert, of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, and great-grandchildren, Patrick, Harry and Elizabeth Tuite and Matthew Duffy, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adelaide Avenue, Highland Park followed by a 10:00 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Highland Park. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery, New Brunswick. Relatives and friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m, Friday at the Funeral Home.

Born in Pretare, Italy, she immigrated to the United States in 1956 and has been a lifelong resident of Highland Park. Maria was a seamstress and taught the art of dress making in Italy. After coming to the United States, she worked at Bond Clothes in New Brunswick and later for the House of Fashions in Highland Park where she became the owner and operator. Maria made custom bridal gowns and people came from places afar just to purchase her quality work. She was a communicant at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church in Highland Park where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and their Senior Citizens Group. She was also a member of the Highland Park Senior Citizens Group. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Joseph in 1993 and a brother, Anthony Angelini in 1982. Maria is survived by her children, Tilde Lerman and her husband, Alfred, of Coral Springs, FL, Rocco Funari and his wife, Judy of Piscataway and Enrica Funari of Highland Park. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Mara and Marleene Lerman, Andriana Schneider, and Dino and Nicholas Funari. Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the Jaqui-Kuhn Funeral Home, 17 South Adlelaide Avenue, Highland Park followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Liturgy at St. Paul the Apostle R.C.
