DORIS SCHOLL, AGE 83, RAHWAY
Mrs. Doris Charpentier Scholl, 83, of Rahway died yesterday at home.
Born in Newark, Mrs. Scholl lived in Rahway for over 50 years. She was employed in the accounting department of Rahway Hospital for many years before retiring in 1996. She was a communicant of St. Mark's R.C. Church, Rahway.
Mrs. Scholl was predeceased by her husband, Robert F. Scholl, in 1984; and her son, Stanley Leonard Scholl, in 1983.
Surviving are three sons, Robert of Woodbury Heights, Richard of Toms River, and William of Rahway; five daughters, Doris DeCicco of Maryland, Evelyn Feckie of Florida, Loretta Scholl of Toms River, Peggy Weiland of Brick, and Patricia Medallis of Hillsborough; her sister, Margie Taylor of Denville; four brothers, Leonard Charpentier of Abilene, Texas, Richard Charpentier of California, Robert Charpentier of West Caldwell, and Jack Charpentier of Fairfield, 28 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Pettit-Davis Funeral Home, 371 West Milton Ave., Rahway, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass to be offered at St. Mark's R.C. Church. Burial will be at Hazelwood Cemetery, Clark.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday

HELEN U. SETTI, 97, of Teaneck, formerly of LAKEWOOD, died Thursday at Bristol Manor Nursing Home, Rochelle Park. She was a member of and communicant of St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, Jersey City, and St. Mary of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Lakewood. Born in Middletown, N.Y., she lived in Jersey City before moving to Lakewood for 30 years and then to Teaneck three years ago
Surviving are a son, Richard Setti of Teaneck; two grandsons, Craig and Jason; a granddaughter, Lara; and a great granddaughter, Gabriella.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the D'Elia Funeral Home, Route 70 and Vermont Avenue, Lakewood. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary of the Lake Roman Catholic Church, Lakewood. Interment will be at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery, Lakewood. Memorial donations may be sent to the Audrey Hepburn's Children's House, Hackensack University Medical Center, 30 Prospect Ave., Hackensack, NJ 07601.

ESTHER CHRISTIAN, 92, of LAKEWOOD
ESTHER CHRISTIAN, 92, of LAKEWOOD, died Thursday at Leisure Park Health Care Facility, Lakewood. Born in Drifton, Pa., she lived in Boynton Beach, Fla., and Highland Park before moving to Lakewood three years ago.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph. Surviving are two sons, J. Robert of Lakewood and William D. of New Brunswick; three sisters, Margaret Nemeth of Somerset and Gazell Spock and Elizabeth Gallagher, both of Freeland, Pa.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. May 13 at St. Anselm's Roman Catholic Church, Wayside Road, Tinton Falls. Arrangements are under the direction of D'Elia Funeral Home, Lakewood.

EDELLA E. FRICKE, 87, of TUCKERTON, died Friday at Manahawkin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Center. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Tuckerton. Born in Manahawkin, Stafford, she was a lifelong area resident.
Her husband, John, died in 1999. Surviving are a son, Robert A. of Little Egg Harbor; two daughters, Virginia Heinrichs of Tuckerton and Joan E. Sprague of Menteo, N.C.; two sisters, Margaret Burell of Tiskilwa, Ill., and Marie Huber of Absecon; nine grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Wood Funeral Home, 134 East Main St., Tuckerton. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be at West Creek Cemetery, West Creek. Memorial donations may be made to the First Methodist Church, Tuckerton.

DANIEL J. MC GRATH SR., 73, of BERKELEY
DANIEL J. MC GRATH SR., 73, of BERKELEY, died Friday at Community Medical Center, Toms River. He was a fireman with the Newark Fire Department for 38 years, retiring as a captain in 1989. He served in the Navy during World War II. He was a member of the National VFW Association and the New Jersey Fire Captains Association. Born in Newark, he also lived in Irvington, Hillside and Union before moving to Toms River in 1985.
Surviving are his wife, Sophie Ruth Turcsik McGrath; two sons, Daniel Jr. of Irvington and Michael of Hewitt; three daughters, Cathy Tietz of Franklin, Cynthia Fragale of Brick and Susan Salegna of Wall; two brothers, Joseph of Henderson, Nev., and Peter of Toms River; a sister, Anita Savoy of Toms River; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Silverton Memorial Funeral Home, 2482 Church Road, Toms River. A funeral service will be held at 8:30 p.m. Cremation will be private.

CATHERINE A. TOAL, 84, of Whiting, MANCHESTER, died Friday at Community Medical Center, Toms River. She was a legal secretary with Mobil Oil Company, New York, for 47 years before retiring in 1979. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting, and a member of the Rosary Alter Societ, the Manchester Seniors and the Women's Club and Residents Club of Crestwood Village IV, Whiting. She was born in Brooklyn and lived there most of her life until moving to Crestwood Village IV in 1979. She moved to Crestwood Manor in 1997.
Surviving are a brother, Frank J. Toal of Whiting; a sister, Eileen T. Churchson of Whiting; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at All Saints Chapel at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Whiting. Interment will be at the St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y.

ANNA MARGE NABBE, 85, of Bayville, BERKELEY, died Friday at Kensington Manor Care Center, Toms River. She was the owner of Parkside Motel, South Seaside Park, for 15 years. Prior to that she was employed by the Prudential Insurance Co., Newark. She was a communicant of St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church, Bayville. Born in Vailsburg, Newark, she lived there for 50 years before moving to South Seaside Park and then to Bayville 20 years ago.
Her husband, Charles, died in 1990. Surviving are five daughters, Joan Schenk of Toms River, Carol Martinez of Jupiter, Fla., Susan Knowles of Sayreville and Judith Burke and Helen Runion, both of Bayville; 16 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Monday at Mastapeter Funeral Home, 270 Route 9, Bayville. A funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Barnabas Church, Bayville. Burial will be at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.

ANGELO A. MOLLICA, 80, of TOMS RIVER, died Wednesday at Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia. He worked in the maintenance department of the North Bergen Board of Education for 20 years before retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, North Bergen. Born in Brooklyn, he lived in North Bergen before moving to Toms River three years ago.
Surviving are his wife of 57 years, Domineca DeMarco Mollica; four sons, Robert of Cherry Hill, John of Paducah, Ky., Christopher of West Milford and Michael of Jackson; a sister, Teresa Cresci of Long Valley; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson. A gathering will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home followed by a funeral Liturgy at 9:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson, with the Rev. Scott Shaffer officiating. Interment will be at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Road, Arneytown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Pennsylvania Hospital, 8th and Spruce streets, Philadelphia, PA 19106.

Aileen Johnson died June 11 at Willow Creek Rehabilitation & Convalescent Center, Somerset.
She was born in Spartanburg, S.C., and was a lifelong resident of New Brunswick.
She is survived by three sons, Pete B. Johnson and Michael K. Johnson, both of New Brunswick, and Marvin E. Johnson of Baltimore; three daughters, Betty J. Johnson and Carolyn A. Russell, both of New Brunswick, and Shirley E. Johnson of Petersburg, Va.; a brother, Frank Wells of Philadelphia; two sisters, Virginia Wells and Carrie Wells, both of Spartanburg, S.C., and her many grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Mount Zion AME Church, New and Neilson streets, New Brunswick. Arrangements are by Anderson Funeral Service, 201 Sandford St., New Brunswick.
