Ms. Eileen Julia O'Connell, of Frederick, formerly of the Bronx, N.Y., died March 14, 2007.She was the beloved daughter of the late Denis and Mary O'Connell and the loving niece of the late Julia Carroll. She was the beloved sister of Daniel O'Connell, the late Rev. Thomas O'Connell and the late Mary Murray; beloved sister-in-law of Veronica O'Connell and the late Robert Murray; dearly loved and cherished aunt of Gregory Murray, Paul and Theresa Murray and Mary Jane O'Connell; dearest great-aunt of Hannah Murray and Ryan Murray; beloved friend among many in Edenton, Staten Island and New York Hospital nursing.

LOUISE O'DONNELL, 66, of MANALAPAN, died Sunday, June 17, at St. Peter's University Hospital, New Brunswick. Mrs. O'Donnell was born and raised in Brooklyn and lived there and in Staten Island before settling in Manalapan in 1999. She was a parishioner of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Manalapan.
She was predeceased by her father, James Rosciano; her husband, William O'Donnell; and her son, James O'Donnell. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Anthony Fleres of Manalapan; her mother, Helen Rosciano of Manalapan; five grandchildren, Shannon, Joseph, Anthony, Nicholas and Taylor; and three brothers, Joseph Rosciano of North Carolina, James Rosciano of Howell, and Thomas Rosciano of North Carolina.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday at 9: 00 AM for the rite of committal, followed by her 10: 00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 186 Gordon's Corner Road, Manalapan. GRACE L. O'LEARY, 68, of FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Mrs. O'Leary was born in Brooklyn and had lived there before moving to Freehold Township in 1992. Mrs. O'Leary was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township. Mrs. O'Leary was a homemaker.
She was predeceased by a grandson, Kenneth Michael O'Leary Jr., in 1987; and three sisters, Gloria, Edna, and Rosemary. Surviving are her husband of 49 years, William N. O'Leary; five sons and two daughters-in-law, William F. Jr. and Maria O'Leary of Freehold, Kevin and Judy O'Leary of Staten Island, N.Y., Kenneth O'Leary of Mount Laurel, John O'Leary of Freehold, and Brian O'Leary of Freehold; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Ellen and Matthew Kennedy of Freehold; 10 grandchildren, William, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Kelly, Daniel, Jacqueline, Kristina, Kevin, Matthew, and Arlene; two brothers, Louis Moore of Lynbrook, Long Island, N.Y., and Franklin Moore of Cary, N.C.; and a sister, June Downing of Oceanside, Long Island, N.Y.

CYNTHIA ANN "CINDY" OSLER, 45, of HOWELL, died Friday, Aug. 17, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Cindy was born in New Brunswick and grew up in Old Bridge, living there before moving to Howell 18 years ago. She was a merchandiser for Coca Cola at their Asbury Park facility for the last 15 years. Cindy was a member of Post No. 177 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Old Bridge. Cindy was a family oriented person. Her family and grandchildren were her life.
She is survived by her husband, Frank J.; a son, Frank J. Jr.; two daughters, Michelle J. and Karra A.; and two grandsons, Alexander and Richard Baris, all of Howell; her parents, Steve R. and Catherine Skiba Salva of Port Richey, Fla.; two brothers, Stephen Salva of Los Angeles, Calif. and Michael Salva of Old Bridge; and two sisters, Kathryn Giudice of Waretown and Elaine Dorn of South Amboy.
Visiting hours will be from 6 p.m. until an 8 p.m. service Wednesday at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold. Interment will be private. For those who desire, memorial contributions in memory of Cindy are requested to the family discretionary fund for Karra.

JOAN A. OSTROM, 62, of MILLSTONE TOWNSHIP, died Tuesday, Jan. 2, at University Medical Center at Princeton, Princeton. Mrs. Ostrom was born in Boston, Mass., and had lived in Belle Mead prior to moving to Millstone Township in 1982. She was the past president of the Monmouth Chapter of EGA. She was a former officer of the Garden State Golden Retriever Club and South Jersey Retriever Club. Mrs. Ostrom was active with the Bayshore Companion Dog Club and Therapy Dogs International. Her volunteer work included the N.J. Audubon Society and she visited nursing homes with her therapy dog "Ben." She was in office administration for the Penn.-Jersey Region of A.D.P., Princeton.
She was predeceased by her brother, Donald C. Alcaide. Surviving are her husband, Hank Ostrom; two stepdaughters, Karen Szoke of Florida, and Lisa Ostrom of North Carolina; a brother, H. David Alcaide of Nashua, N.H.; a sister, Lorie Alcaide of New York City; and a step grandson, Jake B. Cauthen of North Carolina.
The family will receive friends from 10: 30 a.m. Saturday until her memorial service at 11: 30 a.m. at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, with the Rev. Elizabeth Alcaide officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Newton Cemetery, Newton, Mass. AVERY OWENBURG, eight months old, of HOWELL, died Wednesday, July 12, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Miss Owenburg was born in Neptune and was a life-long resident of Howell.
Surviving are her parents, Cory and Jennifer Owenburg of Howell; a brother, Brayden Owenburg at home; maternal grandparents, Ellen and Angelo Piro of Manalapan; paternal grandparents, Deborah and Billy Owenburg of Freehold; great-grandparents, Marie and Robert MacDougall of Florida; great-great-grandmother, Viola MacDougall of Jackson; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting is from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Freehold Township. Her Mass of the Angels will be held on Monday, July 17, at 10 a.m. at The Church of St. Veronica, 4215 Route 9 N., Howell. Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold.

CATHERINE E. OWENS, 77, of HOWELL, died Friday, May 11, at home. Mrs. Owens was born on Staten Island and lived in Jersey City before moving to Howell in 1991. Mrs. Owens was a parishioner of St. Veronica Catholic Church, Howell. She was a waitress at Snuffy's, Jersey City, until her retirement in 1990.
Surviving are her husband, Ira H. Owens Sr.; a son and daughter-in-law, Ira H. and Theresa Owens Jr. of Glassboro; a daughter and son-in-law, Denise M. and Charles R. Daye Jr. of Howell; three brothers, Anthony Bianco of Staten Island, Louis Bianco of Toms River, and Vincent Bianco of Richmond, Va.; three sisters, Carmela Yaccarino of Staten Island, Marie Slomczewski of Toms River, and Josephine Nolan of Staten Island; and six grandchildren.

BIAGIA PACE, 85, of HOWELL, died Friday, Jan. 12, at Care One, East Brunswick. Mrs. Pace was born in Comiso, Italy, came to the United States in 1954 and lived in Syracuse before moving to Howell in 1993. She was a homemaker.
She was predeceased by her husband, Giuseppe, in 1996. Surviving are her two sons, Salvatore J. Pace of Newark, Del., and Gianfranco R. Pace of Freehold; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Concetta of Argentina.

LOUIS N. PAHOUNTIS, 77, of JACKSON, died Wednesday, July 25, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Mr. Pahountis was born in Aperi, on the island of Karpathos in Greece. He came to the U.S. in 1949 to Wheeling, W.Va., and had lived in Pittsburgh, Pa., Philipsburg, Passaic, Paterson, Fair Lawn, and Montville before moving to Jackson in 1999. Mr. Pahountis was a restaurateur, owning and operating the Clifton, Wayside, Dakota, and Empire Diners, retiring in 1997. Mr. Pahountis was a former member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Clifton. He was a 32 Degree Mason and a member of the Salaam Shrine Temple, Livingston. Mr. Pahountis was a member and a former Vice President of the Omonoia Karpathian Society and recipient of their lifetime achievement award. "He was a loving husband, Dad and Papou."
Surviving are his devoted wife of 50 years, Fotini Pahountis; three sons, Nick Pahountis, Bill Pahountis, and George Pahountis, all of Jackson; nine grandchildren; and a brother, George Pahountis of Elizabeth.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, followed by his 12: 30 p.m. funeral service at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, 2200 Church Road, Toms River. RICHARD "DICK" HENRY PANKENIER JR., 58, of HOWELL, died Friday, Aug. 11, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Mr. Pankenier was born in Jersey City and had lived there and Belford before settling to Howell in 1980. He owned and operated D & D Machining, Inc., Farmingdale, since 1980.
Surviving are his wife of 28 years, Virginia Pankenier of Howell; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Wendy and Keith Doyle of Brick, Lisa and John Cuddihy of Raleigh, N.C., Marie and Tony Tortorella of Greenbrier, Tenn., and Sharon Pankenier of Howell; five grandchildren; one brother, Bill Pankenier of Belford; and a sister, Jeanne Carver of Ogden, Utah.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 8: 30 p.m. Monday at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. JOSEPH N. PASQUALETTI, 76, of TOMS RIVER, died Wednesday, June 6, at Community Medical Center Hospice, Toms River. Mr. Pasqualetti was born in New York City and had lived there, Closter and Jackson before moving to Toms River two years ago. Mr. Pasqualetti was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a former parishioner of St. Mary's Catholic Church, and a former member and past president of the Lions Club, both of Closter. Mr. Pasqualetti owned and operated Marcy's Auto Seat Covers in Englewood and Paterson, retiring in 1988. After retiring, he worked at Knickerbocker Golf Club, Tenafly
He was predeceased by his wife, Marie Laucello Pasqualetti, in 2006. Surviving are a son, Mark Pasqualetti of Freehold; two daughters, Susan Costelloe of Howell, and JoAnn Costelloe of Freehold; eight grandchildren; a brother, Amadeao "Sonny" Pasqualetti of Staten Island, N.Y.; and a sister, Ann Augliera of Aurora, Colo.
