Also surviving is a granddaughter, Kelly.

ERIC SCOTT HENNINGS, 26, of MIDDLETOWN
ERIC SCOTT HENNINGS, 26, of MIDDLETOWN, died Sunday in Deal Lake, Asbury Park. He was a printer, employed by Hattaras Press Inc., Manasquan. He celebrated life and never put off until tomorrow what could be done today. He laughed and loved and was loved in return. Born in Red Bank, he was a lifelong resident of the area.
Surviving are his father, H. Richard Hennings of Middletown; his mother, Rose Ann Hennings of Leonardo, Middletown; a sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Tom Gallant of Wilson, N.C.; a nephew, William Gallant of Wilson, N.C.; four aunts; two uncles; and many wonderful lifelong friends.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at John P. Condon Funeral Home, 804 Route 36, Leonardo. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at St. Agnes Church, Atlantic Highlands. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to Leonardo First Aid, P.O. Box 222, Leonardo, NJ 07737.

ESTHER A. OUSTERMAN, 88, of LONG BRANCH
ESTHER A. OUSTERMAN, 88, of LONG BRANCH, died Wednesday at the Center for Hospice at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was employed by EAI, Eatontown, before retiring. She was a member of the Duo Club and the Woman's Club, both of Asbury United Methodist Church, Long Branch. She was born in Brooklyn and moved to Long Branch in 1923.
She was predeceased by her husband, Elliott W. Ousterman, in 1962; her daughter, Joyce Stochle, in 1988; and a brother, Harry Larsen. Surviving are a brother, Albert K. Larsen of Oceanport; a sister, June Eisenmann of Long Branch; five grandchildren, Patricia Montague of Amherst, N.H., Karen Sullivan of Lincoln, R.I., Susan Seber of Pittstown, N.Y., Mark Stochle of Attleboro, Mass., and Nancy Ellis of Hamilton, Mass.; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Saturday, followed by a 11:15 a.m. funeral service at Flock Funeral Home, 243 Broadway, Long Branch, with interment following at Glenwood Cemetery, West Long Branch. GLORIA JEAN WELCH CAMPION, 54, of OCEAN GROVE
GLORIA JEAN WELCH CAMPION, 54, of OCEAN GROVE, died Tuesday at home. She worked at Neptune Rehabilitation Center, Neptune, for 20 years. She was a 1965 graduate of Asbury Park High School. She liked helping people and did a lot of charity work. She loved the New York Mets and was an avid bowler. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Long Branch Post of the American Legion. Born in Roslindale, Mass., she lived in Oakhurst, Ocean Township, from 1960 before moving to Ocean Grove three years ago.
Surviving are her mother, Jenny Welch of Beachwood; two brothers, Robert of Neptune, and Fred of Ocean Grove; two sisters, Christine Schena of Beachwood, and Mary Callaghan of Jupiter, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ely Funeral Home, 3316 Route 33, Neptune. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home at 9 a.m. Saturday, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Innocents, Neptune.

JOSEPH RYAN ROCH, 20, of Downingtown, Pa., formerly of RED BANK
JOSEPH RYAN ROCH, 20, of Downingtown, Pa., formerly of RED BANK, died Tuesday at Brandywine Hospital and Trauma Center as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a student at Williamson Trade School, where he studied carpentry. He was a 1999 graduate of Downingtown High School. He wrestled for Williamson Trade School and was a former member of the Downingtown High School Wrestling Team, serving as captain of the team in 1999. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, Downingtown. He enjoyed basketball, skateboarding and music. He loved life and lived it to its fullest. He was born in Red Bank.
Surviving are his parents, John M. Roch Sr. and Lynda Fornicola Roch; three brothers, John M. Roch Jr., Mark P. Roch and Christopher T. Roch, all at home; his paternal grandparents, John A. and Patricia Jarka Roch of Moneta, Va., and his maternal grandparents, Theodore G. and Josephine A. Scott Fornicola of Jackson.
Family and friends may call 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Ave., Downingtown, followed by an 11 a.m. Memorial Mass at the church. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joseph R. Roch Memorial Wrestling Fund, c/o Downingtown High School, 50 Devon Drive, Exton, PA 19341. James J. LAURA BERTHA HEIST VAUGHN, 98, of ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS
LAURA BERTHA HEIST VAUGHN, 98, of ATLANTIC HIGHLANDS, died Wednesday at King James Care Center, Navesink. She was a member of the Atlantic Highlands Senior Citizens Club and Covenant Community Church in Redford, Mich. Born in Vera Cruz, Pa., she resided in Copemish Mich., before moving to Atlantic Highlands in 1994.
She was predeceased by her husband, George L. Vaughn, in 1963; and her parents, Horace and Hannah Heist. Surviving are her two sons, Billy Ray Vaughn of Adelanto, Calif., and George L. Vaughn of Bear Lake, Mich.; a daughter, Barbara Humphrey of Atlantic Highlands; 16 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are private and held under the direction of Posten's Funeral Home, Atlantic Highlands. Interment will be in Oakland Hills Memorial Gardens, Novi, Mich.

LOURDES DEVLIN, 75, of LONG BRANCH
LOURDES DEVLIN, 75, of LONG BRANCH, died yesterday at home. She was a seamstress for Elia Co. Morris Ave., Long Branch, for many years, retiring in 1972. She was loved and will be missed by many friends. Born in Calabria, Italy, she lived in various places before moving to Long Branch in 1960.
Her husband, James A. Devlin, died in April 1975; and a friend, John Kersmarki, died in October 2000.

MARY E. WALTHERS, 86, of RED BANK, died Wednesday at Meridian Nursing and Rehab., Red Bank. She was a civil service worker for the Army and an Army veteran.
Her husband, Adolph F. Walthers, died in 1952. Surviving are many good friends.

DORA C. SCHWEITZER HOUSMAN, 83, of Silver Ridge Park North, BERKELEY, died yesterday at home. She was a licensed practical nurse at Richmond Memorial Hospital, Staten Island, for 10 years, retiring in 1958. She was a member of the PTA in Staten Island and a graduate of Curtis High School in Staten Island. She attended Richmond Hospital of Nursing. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Toms River. Born in Staten Island, she lived in Dongan Hills, Staten Island, before moving to Silver Ridge Park 17 years ago.
She was predeceased by a brother, John Schweitzer; and four sisters, Marie Muller, Ann Schweitzer, Katherine Theirauf and Theresa Schafer. Surviving are her husband, Lawrence Walter Housman; a son, Lawrence John Housman of Brick; a daughter, Rita D. Wangenstein of Richmond, Staten Island; a sister, Elizabeth Grymes of Staten Island; six granddaughters, Denise, Jillian, Terri, Alexis, Tammy and Robyn; and four great-grandchildren, John, Ricky, J.C. and Kate.
Family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River. GEORGE P. BAUMAN, 86, of Sun City, Fla., formerly of TOMS RIVER
GEORGE P. BAUMAN, 86, of Sun City, Fla., formerly of TOMS RIVER, died April 22 at the Sun City Convalescent Center, Sun City, Fla. He was the former owner and resident of Magnolia House, Toms River. His love for the sea throughout his life began as a young man when he received training on the sailing ship Annapolis. That led to a posting as a deck officer with Grace Lines. At the outbreak of World War II, he was commissioned as an intelligence officer in the Navy. During the war, he patrolled and monitored the East Coast, looking for any signs of enemy activity. When D-Day came, he served as executive officer on a submarine Chaser during the invasion of France. After the war, he returned to Toms River with his wife, Polly, and began a long career with Connecticut General Life Insurance Co./CIGNA where he was a chartered life underwriter and estate planner. He was a life member of the company's Presidents' Club and a six-time qualifier of its prestigious Honor Table. His love of the water kept him active in the Toms River Yacht Club, where he served for a time as commodore. He was also very active in the Toms River community, serving as president of the Kiwanis Club; member of the Toms River Regional Board of Education, director emeritus of the First National Bank of Toms River and former member of the Toms River Country Club. In 1981, after 32 years of dedicated service to his clients and community, he and his wife retired to Sun City, Fla., where they maintained an active life of golf and travel. They were also members of the First United Methodist Church of Sun City Center, Fla.
He was predeceased by his wives, Pauline "Polly" Bauman and Ruth Gilbert Bauman. Surviving are eight nieces and nephews, Beth Bauman of Orlando, Fla., Martha Chaffee of High Harbor, Louise Poorman of Harrisburg, Pa., Yvonne Knight of Jacksonville, Fla., William Bauman of Orlando, Fla., John Waring Jr. of Boyerstown, Pa., James Emerick of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Alan Emerick of Montville, Pa.
Memorial services will be held at the Freedom Plaza in Sun City Center, Fla.

GRACE K. TORTORICE, 86, of Holiday City, BERKELEY, died yesterday at Community Medical Center, Toms River. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Seaside Heights Italian American Club. She was also a volunteer at Community Medical Center, Toms River, for many years. Born in Caldwell, she lived in Verona for many years before moving to Berkeley 21 years ago.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul Tortorice. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Maria-Therese and Jeff Baer of Toms River; a brother, Charles Ferina of Toms River; a sister, Florence Magliacano of Bloomfield; and two granddaughters, Kristan Baer and Jennifer Baer.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be held 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Toms River. Interment will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River.
