ELIZABETH MARTENS LIMING, 83, of Manahawkin, STAFFORD, died Sunday at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Stafford. She was a homemaker. She was a Sunday school teacher and president of the Womans Society in Allendale and a member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit of Manahawkin. She was a gentle and loving person and will be sadly missed by her sons, daughter-in-law, sister and brother. Born in New York City, she lived there before moving to Manahawkin in 1988.
Her husband, George, died in 1990. Surviving are two sons, Bruce Liming and David Liming, both of Manahawkin; a daughter-in-law, Carole Ann Liming of Manahawkin; a sister, Lorraine Pearson of Surf City; a brother, George Martens of Florida; three grandchildren, Judi Olson, David Liming and Donna Liming-Griffin; three great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Kyle Olson, and Sequioa Liming; several nieces and nephews; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Thos L. Shinn Funeral Home, 10 Hilliard Drive, Manahawkin. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit Food Pantry, 333 N. Main St., Manahawkin, NJ 08050.

ELLA FRIDA STEIN, 95, of the Cedar Glen Lakes section of MANCHESTER
ELLA FRIDA STEIN, 95, of the Cedar Glen Lakes section of MANCHESTER, died yesterday at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. She was a homemaker and a congregant of Whiting Bible Church. Born in Plauen, Germany, she immigrated to the United States in 1923. She resided in Union City, Weehawken, West New York and Hawthorne before moving to Manchester in 1973.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, William Stein, in 1987; two brothers; four sisters; and two grandchildren. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, William J. and Lina Stein of Henderson, N.C., and Robert H. and Joan Stein of Louisville, Ky.
Friends may call from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 115 Lacey Road, Whiting. Graveside services will follow at 10 a.m. in Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting.

EMMA "JANE" HAA CUPOLO, 56, of Toms River, DOVER TOWNSHIP, died Sunday at home. She was a member of the Country Dance High Knee Kicker Dance Club of Ocean County. She enjoyed arts and crafts. Born in Elizabeth City, N.C., she lived in Virginia before moving to Toms River 27 years ago.
Surviving are her husband, Harry; a son, Michael Cupolo of Toms River; three daughters, Lorraine Fetherman and Marie Katherine Blair, both of Beachwood, and Janet L. Cupolo of Toms River; two brothers, Ralph Peter of Rochester, N.Y., and Robert of Florida; and three grandchildren, Brandon, Emma and Gina.
The family will receive friends 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd., Toms River. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Christ Church, Toms River. Burial will follow 12:30 p.m. in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown. ESTHER MAE HARVEY, 82, of Pennsville, whose daughter lives in BRICK, died Sunday at Memorial Hospital of Salem County. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Star Circle of the church. She was also a member of the Pennsville Women's Club. Born in Salem, she was a lifelong Salem County resident.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leroy W. Harvey, in 1987; and her parents, Lawrence and Mabel Stretch Lamb. Surviving are two daughters, Arlene H. Green of Brick, and Patricia Hendrickson of Melbourne, Fla.; five grandchildren, Mary Beth Dunk Spencer of Whitehouse Station, Alisa Dunk of Point Pleasant, Christina Rossetti of Orlando, Fla., David Rossetti and Tara Hendrickson, both of Melbourne, Fla.; and two great-grandchildren, Kathryn and Jason Spencer.

FRANCES F. "FANNY" SELLITTO, 56, of Forked River, LACEY, died Saturday at Southern Ocean County Hospital, Stafford. She was an administrator with McGraw-Hill Books, New York City, and a supervisor for GPU Nuclear at Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, Lacey. She graduated from Teaneck High School and Berkeley College in New York City. She was an active member of the Womens Club of the Forked River Tuna Club. Born in Hoboken, she resided in Forked River since 1975.
Surviving are her husband of 36 years, Paul; her mother, Marie Freer of Barnegat; two daughters and a son-in-law, Debra Sellitto of Haddonfield, and Stacy and Derek Torre of Lanoka Harbor, Lacey; a sister, Debra Lechowowicz of West Gate; and three grandsons, Steve, Jake, and Brock Torre.
Visitation will be from 7 to 10 p.m. today at Growney Funeral Home, 1022 Lacey Road, Forked River. Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday at Brig. Gen. William C. GENEVIEVE "JENNY" ABBATEMARCO, 81, of TOMS RIVER, died Sunday at home. She was a homemaker. Born in Newark, she lived in Hillside for 27 years before moving to Toms River 17 years ago.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Joseph Abbatemarco; two sons, Ruggiero of Edison, and Joseph of Juniper, Fla.; a daughter, Maddalena Little of North Brunswick; a brother, Frank Strillaci of New Jersey; a sister, Antoinette Rozzo of Keansburg; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

GEORGE GODISH, 72, of BRICK, died yesterday at Brick Hospital. He was a letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, Bayonne, for 27 years, retiring in 1984. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a communicant of St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Bayonne. Born in Allison, Pa., he lived in Bayonne before moving to Brick 20 months ago.
A sister, Mary Lacinak, died in 1991. Surviving are his wife, Carole Sroczynski Godish; a son and daughter-in-law, George F. and Corrie Godish of Bayonne; a daughter and son-in-law, Ann Margaret and John Stabile of Point Pleasant; a brother, Michael Godish of Cannonsburg, Pa.; three sisters, Ann Demjancik, Elizabeth McMahon and Helen Donaghy, all of Bayonne; and three grandchildren, Brittany Godish, and Emily and Katie Stabile.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Route 88, Brick. A Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Dominic's Church, Brick. Interment will follow in Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.

JEANETTE JUNE SCHOENIG, 88, of Crestwood Village, MANCHESTER, died Sunday at Manchester Manor, Whiting. She worked for Aetna Life and Casualty Insurance Co., Newark, for 39 years. She was tour chairman of Manchester Seniors from 1984 to 2000 and organized a month-long Florida bus trip over the Christmas holidays annually for the Manchester Seniors. She was a member of the Womens Club, Harmony Hall and the Whiting First Aid Auxiliary. Born in Newark, she moved to Manchester 23 years ago.
Surviving is a friend, Virginia Benz of Manchester.
Cremation will be private. Interment will be in Whiting Memorial Park, Whiting. DeGraff Cremation Services, Lakehurst, is in charge of arrangements.

JOSEPH D. KLING, 81, of Forked River, LACEY, died Sunday at Southern Ocean County Hopsital, Stafford. He worked for Westinghouse Meter Division, Newark, for 40 years, retiring in 1979. He was a World War II Army veteran. He was a communicant and usher of St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Forked River, and a member of its Holy Name Society. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9503, Bayville, Berkeley, and Lacey Elks Lodge 2518. He was an avid golfer and loved to shoot pool. Born in Newark, he lived in Maplewood before moving to Forked River in 1985.
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Genevieve "Jean" Wennemer Kling; a son, Joseph B. of Getzville, N.Y.; three daughters, Marie D'Amico of Newtown, Conn., Jo-Ann Case of San Antonio, Texas, and Barbara Jean Risden of Goodyear, Ariz.; two sisters, Sister Marie Frances of New Milford, and Frances Draude of Fords, Woodbridge; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Riggs Funeral Home, 130 Route 9 North, Forked River. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated noon Thursday at St. Pius X Church, Forked River. Interment will follow in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown. JOSEPHINE HUMPHREY, 85, of JACKSON
JOSEPHINE HUMPHREY, 85, of JACKSON, died Sunday at Jackson Center, Jackson. She was a saleswoman for Lerner's Dress Co. and Goodwin's Shop, both in New York City, for many years. Born in New York City, she lived in Jensen Beach, Fla., before moving to Jackson in 1980.
Her husband, Jack Humphrey, died in 1966. Surviving are two daughters, Kathleen Rico of Jensen Beach, Fla., and Linda Aldrich of Queens; a sister, Lillian Aglietti of Jackson; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held noon Wednesday at George S. Hassler Funeral Home, 980 Bennetts Mills Road, Jackson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the memory of Josephine to a charity of one's choice.

KATHRYN "PAT" KENNEY, 66, of BRICK, died Saturday at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. She was employed by AT&T, Union, (formerly Western Electric) as an analyst for International Product Inspection for 30 years, retiring in 1991. She was a very active member of St. Aedan's Rosary Society and Golden Club, Jersey City; Hudson Association for Retarded Citizens, Jersey City; Ocean County Association for Retarded Citizens, Lakewood; and Telephone Pioneers of America and the Western Electric Retired Employees Association. She was a communicant of Visitation Church, Brick and a former communicant of St. Aedan's Church, Jersey City. Born in Jersey City, she lived there most of her life, then moved to Bayonne in 1990 and to Brick in 1995.
She was predeceased by her parents, James and Mae Croughwell Kiernan; and a sister, Jane Daly. Surviving are her husband, Robert B. Kenney; two daughters, Karen Smith of Middletown, and Eileen Kenney of Beachwood; a sister, Maureen Garry of Hackettstown; two brothers, James Kiernan of Carson City, Nev., and John Kiernan of Neptune; an aunt, Ann Coffey of Bayonne; two grandchildren, Christine and Matthew Smith of Middletown; and nine nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at McLaughlin Funeral Home, 625 Pavonia Ave., Jersey City. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral 9:30 a.m. Thursday from the funeral, home followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Aedan's Church. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Heart Association or 21 Plus, 1130 Hooper Ave., Toms River, NJ 08753 would be appreciated.
