VINCENT G. NAPPI, 87, of FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, died Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Applewood Estates, Freehold. He was the supervisor of mail at the Essex County Court House until his retirement in 1983. Prior to that, he was a postman for the Newark Post Office for 20 years. He was a technical sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II. Born in Newark, he had lived in Freehold Township since 1983 and had wintered in Boynton Beach, Fla.
Surviving are a brother, Gerard Nappi of Freehold Township; and three nieces, Mary Lou Berger and Arlene Caputa, both of Bloomfield, and Barbara Tomczak of Freehold Township.
Visiting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, 958 Adelphia Road (Route 524), Adelphia. Friends and relatives may gather at 8: 30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal followed by his funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Byrd Street, Bloomfield. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair.

FRANK SANDORA, 64, of JACKSON, died Friday, Aug. 22, at Jackson Health Care, Jackson.
Surviving are his wife, stepdaughter and three step-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at noon Tuesday at St. Catharine's Cemetery, Wall. C.H.T. Clayton and Sons Funeral Home, Adelphia, is in charge of arrangements.

JOSEPH M. SOMAN, 72, of HOWELL, died Thursday, Aug. 11, surrounded by his family. A major force in their lives, he was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. He had a career in information management with International Business Machines that continued for over 35 years. He began his career working at IBM's Poughkeepsie, N.Y., office; he worked in White Plains, N.Y., Dayton, and for the last six years of his tenure, he was at the company's corporate headquarters in Armonk, N.Y., retiring in 1987. A graduate of Poughkeepsie High School, he attended Siena College. He also managed a consulting business until his death. Born in Beacon, N.Y., he was raised in and lived in Poughkeepsie, and later moved to Howell.
His wife of over 50 years, Sheila Knox Whalen, died in February 2001. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey and Diana of Wilmette, Ill.; seven daughters and two sons-in-law, Laurie of Berkeley, Calif., Nancy of Voorhees, Lisa and James McHale of East Brunswick; Kathryn of Manhattan, Sarah and Bud Napolio of San Francisco, and Page and Victoria, both of Howell; eight grandchildren, Jamie, Christopher, Lauren, Sasha, Kathryn, Nicholas, Graham, and Sebastian; a brother, Dewey of Poughkeepsie; and his first cousins, the Abdoo family.
A Memorial Mass will be offered at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Veronica's Church, Howell. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, 195 Little Albany St., New Brunswick, NJ 08901 would be appreciated. Arrangements are by the C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, 958 Adelphia Road (Route 524), Adelphia.

MARION JEAN WOODFIELD TICE, 82, of Clarksville, Va., formerly of HOWELL, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Halifax Regional Hospital, South Boston, Va. She was a teller for Colonial National Bank until her retirement. Born in Spring Lake, she had lived in Farmingdale and Howell before moving to Clarksville, Va. in 1998.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Elias Pease; and her second husband, Lester Tice. Surviving are three daughters, Sheryl Pelella of Clarksville, Va., Janet Kuey of Cream Ridge, Upper Freehold Township, and Joan Walling of Howell; a sister, Sarah Wardell of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; a brother, Russell Woodfield of Floral City, Fla.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visiting will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, 958 Adelphia Road (Route 524), Adelphia. MICHAEL A. ANZANO, 17, of FARMINGDALE, Thursday, Nov. 13, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, from a motor vehicle accident. He was a senior at Colts Neck High School and an art major. He participated in basketball and had played in the Howell Little League. He also played bass in the band Enola Sunrise. He graduated from Howell Middle School North. He was employed part-time at Hollister Co. at Freehold Raceway Mall, Freehold Township. He was born in Secaucus.
Surviving are his parents, Anthony V. and Barbara Cushing Anzano of Farmingdale; a sister, Kristen Anzano, at home; his maternal grandmother, Shirley Cushing of Asbury Park; his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Palma Anzano of East Meadow, N.Y.; 18 uncles and aunts; and many cousins.
Visiting will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at C.H.T. Clayton & Son Funeral Home, 958 Adelphia Road (Route 524), Adelphia. A funeral Mass will be offered at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church, Asbury Avenue, Farmingdale, with the Rev. Michael Vona officiating. Interment will be private.
HENRY E. BUECHER III, 72, of HOWELL

HENRY E. BUECHER III, 72, of HOWELL, died Thursday, Nov. 20, at home. He was a gym teacher at Pine Brook Middle School, Manalapan, and then at Manalapan-Englishtown Middle School until his retirement in 1994. While at Manalapan-Englishtown, he was basketball coach and the first male physical education teacher in the school system. He received his bachelor of science and his master's degrees in education and supervision from Seton Hall University. He majored in physical education and minored in history. He was a member of the New Jersey Education Association and the New Jersey Retired Educators. He was a former member of the Order of Arrow 178; a former Eagle Scout; and a former camp director for the Boy Scouts of America. He was an aquatics director at Quail Hill Scout Camp. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the American Legion Post 54, Freehold. Born in Newark, he lived in Irvington for 23 years and Englishtown before moving to Howell in 1960.
Surviving are his wife, Bernadette Van Driel Buecher; two sons, Henry E. Buecher IV of Jackson, and Daniel Buecher of Howell; a daughter, Eileen Buecher of Pittsburg, Pa.; and two grandchildren, Zachary and Courtney.

ANGELO CACCIOPPOLI, 69, of FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, at Cent-raState Medical Center, Freehold Township, after a long struggle with illness. He was the owner of Paramount Shoe Repair, Brooklyn for 30 years, retiring in 1998. He served in the Italian Army. He was a life member of the St. Anthony Society of Brooklyn. Born in Italy, he came to the United States in 1967, settling in Brooklyn. He lived there before moving to Freehold Township in August.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Lucia; a son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Lisa Caccioppoli of Howell; two brothers, Thomas Caccioppoli and Frank Caccioppoli, both of Italy; two sisters, Rosaria Casalino and Rosetta Faulisi, both of Brooklyn; and two grandsons, Angelo and Peter Caccioppoli.

PATRICK M. COFFEY, 51, of FARMINGDALE, died Thursday, Dec. 4, at home. He was an operating engineer for 10 years before becoming disabled in 2002. He was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 825. Born in Perth Amboy, he moved to Farmingdale in 1965.
He was predeceased by his father, Frank, in 1987. Surviving are a daughter, Theresa Parker of Belmar; his mother, Estelle Coffey of Farmingdale; four brothers, Kevin Coffey of Millstone, Sean Coffey of Spring Lake, Christopher Coffey of Farmingdale, and James Coffey of Freehold; and two sisters, Mary Frances Coffey of Ewing, and Marytheresa Littlefield of Millstone.

SUSAN GRAVATT, 85, of FARMINGDALE, died Monday, Nov. 17, at Meridian Nursing & Rehab., Brick. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Farmingdale, and a member of the Farmingdale-Howell First Aid Auxiliary. Born in Elizabeth, she was a lifelong resident of Farmingdale.
She was predeceased by her husband, William R., in 1991; her parents, Leon and Violet Robbins Farry; and a brother, W. Edward Farry. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas W. and Mary Lou Gravatt of Wall, and Jeffery W. and Elaine Gravatt of Brick; a brother, Robert Farry of Farmingdale; a grandson and his wife, Donald T. and Jessica Gravatt of Levittown, Pa.; and three granddaughters, Sara Gravatt, Shannon Gravatt, and Susan Gravatt, all of Brick.

ROSE M. MURPHY, 69, of FARMINGDALE, died Thursday, Nov. 20, at home. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Farmingdale. Born in Mount Kisco, N.Y., she lived in Pleasantville, N.Y., before moving to Farmingdale in 1953.
Surviving are her husband, Robert B. Murphy Sr.; a son and daughter-in-law, Robert B. Jr. and JoAnn Murphy of Farmingdale; a daughter, Barbara Ann MacKenzie of Farmingdale; two brothers, Joe Loquercio of Pleasantville and Rocco Lewis of Vero Beach, Fla.; a sister, Madeline Antonecchia of Pleasantville; and four grandchildren, Stacey, Colleen, Robbie, and Michael.
