JAMES KEISTER, AGE 57, WOODBRIDGE
James H. Keister, 57, died Sunday at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
He was born in Johnstown, Pa., and resided in West New York, N.J., before moving to Woodbridge 32 years ago.
Mr. Keister was a Teamster and worked as a truck driver for 35 years, most recently for Interstate Trucking Co. in North Bergen, from which he retired in 1995.
He was an avid sports fan, and participated in the Woodbridge Little League for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, June Worrall Keister; a son, Lenard Keister of Fords; a daughter, Laura Bowie of Westminster, Md.; a sister, Kathy Fisher of Avenel, and five grandchildren, Andrew, Tyler and Brayden Bowie, and James and Kaitlyn Keister.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. today at Costello-Greiner Funeral Home, 44 Green St., Woodbridge.

JOAN HUGHES, AGE 62, ISELIN
Joan M. Hughes, 62, of Iselin died Sunday at JFK Medical Center in Edison.
Born in Jersey City, she lived in Iselin since 1965. She worked as a clerk for the Woodbridge Board of Education for 25 years. She retired in 1993 as head clerk of Woodbridge High School. She was a member of the Clerks Union in Woodbridge.
She was a parishioner of St. Cecelia's R.C. Church in Iselin.
Surviving are her husband of 42 years, Robert S. Hughes; a son, Scott Hughes of Iselin; two daughters, Barbara Maze of Mansfield and Michele Jordan of Iselin; a brother and sister-in-law, Martin and Andra McDonough of Edison; a sister and brother-in-law, Florence and Joseph Labuta of Lebanon Township, and a grandson, Ryan Jordan.
Cremation was held privately. A memorial funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Cecelia's R.C. Church in Iselin. Arrangements have been made through the Gosselin Funeral Home, Edison. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 846 Main St., Fords, NJ 08863 in her loving memory.

KAREN BRADLEY, AGE 39, EDISON
Karen S. Bradley, 39, of Edison died Sunday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
She was born in Boston, and lived in Metuchen before moving to Edison seven years ago.
She is survived by her husband, Michael H. Noto; her parents, Robert and Virginia Bradley of Delray Beach, Fla.; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Salvatore and Judith Noto of Lawrenceville; a sister, Eileen A. Bradley of Charlotte, N.C.; a brother-in-law and four sisters-in-law, Gregory Noto and Robin McClerran of San Francisco, Calif., Valerie Noto of Yardville, N.J., Lynn M. Noto of Los Angeles, and Jennifer Noto and her fiancee, Ron Shiber, of Bordentown; a nephew, Evan Walter-Noto, and a niece, Ruby Noto.
The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, followed by an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of St. Ann in Lawrenceville. Burial will be private. Friends may call 6 p.m.-9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Karen S. Bradley Foundation, 35 Clive Hills Road, Edison, NJ 08820.

KENNETH SNYDER, AGE 35, EDISON
Kenneth Bruce Snyder, 35, died Friday at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Perth Amboy Division.
Born in Jersey City, he was a lifelong resident of Edison. He was a self-employed carpenter for 15 years.
He was an avid blues guitar player for most of his life, since he was 8 years old.
He is survived by his parents, Ronald and Marilyn Snyder of Edison; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Ron and AnneMarie Snyder, Keith and Jennifer Snyder, and Richard and Dianne Snyder, all of Piscataway; a niece, Desiree Snyder, and four nephews, Ronnie Snyder, Eric Snyder, Richard Snyder Jr. and Michael Snyder, all of Piscataway.
A Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. tomorrow at St. Frances Cabrini R.C. Church in Piscataway. Interment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, Piscataway. Visitation will be private. Arrangements are by Piscataway Funeral Home, 18 Stelton Road, Piscataway. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, c/o Kenneth Bruce Snyder, 1034 Salem Road, Union, NJ 07083.

Medio "Joe" Schiavi, 87, died yesterday at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Inger Schiavi; his son, Frank; two daughters, Michelle Pascarella and Renee Dimayuga; his sister, Mary Fedicaroe; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at James W. Conroy Funeral Home, 2456 Plainfield Ave., South Plainfield, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart R.C. Church in South Plainfield. Friends may call 7 p.m.-9 p.m. tomorrow at the funeral home.

MAURO LOPEZ, AGE 47, NEW BRUNSWICK
Mauro Lopez, 47, died June 16 in New Brunswick.
He was born in Mexico and lived there before moving to New Brunswick.
He is survived by his mother, Rosa Lopez of New Brunswick, and several children, also of New Brunswick.
Viewing hours are 7 p.m.-9 p.m. today at Anderson Funeral Service, 201 Sandford St., New Brunswick. The funeral and burial will be held in Mexico at a later date.

ANTHONY R. CERTO, 78, of HOLMDEL
ANTHONY R. CERTO, 78, of HOLMDEL, died Sunday at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. He was a heavy equipment operating engineer, last working for the New York City Department of Sanitation from 1983 to 1993. Born in Staten Island, he moved to Panama City, Fla., in 1994, and to Holmdel four years ago.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Moye Certo; two sons, John of Holmdel, and David of Keyport; three daughters, Toni Genovese of Staten Island, Mary Lou Ortiz of Keyport, and Fay Irwin of Panama City, Fla.; four brothers, Ben Certo of Lakehurst, and Joseph, Peter and Ned Certo, all of Staten Island; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Holmdel Funeral Home, 26 S. Holmdel Road, Holmdel. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Middletown. Donations in his memory may be made to the Americn Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury, NJ 07702. ESTHER E. BROWN, 79, of WALL
ESTHER E. BROWN, 79, of WALL, died Sunday at Geraldine Thompson Nursing Home, Wall. She was employed with Bell Telephone as an operator and was a supervisor for 15 years. She was also a homemaker. She was a loving babysitter for the Daugila and Simon families of Wall. Born in Newark, she lived in Wall for more than 30 years years before recently moving to Lakewood.
Surviving are her husband of 40 years, William; a son and daughter-in-law, William and Colleen of Wall; three sisters, Genevieve Messina, Livia DiNorcia of West Caldwell, and Ria Zuckerman of West Orange; three grandchildren, Caitlin, Christina and William; and a sister-in-law, Yolanda Caprio.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Meehan Funeral Home, 555 Warren Ave., Spring Lake Heights. A funeral service will follow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions to your favorite charity would be appreciated.

GENEVIEVE H. PISERCHIA, of NEPTUNE, died Friday at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune. She was a security analyst at Fort Monmouth for five years, retiring in 1985. Born in Dearborn, Mich., she lived in Michigan before moving to the Shore area in 1961.
Surviving are her husband, Gerard J. Piserchia Sr.; two sons, Philip G. Piserchia of Norfolk, Va., and Gerard J. Piserchia Jr. of Mahwah; a daughter, Susan M. Harnett of Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Ted Pudlo of Tucson, Ariz., and Ed Pudlo of Florida; two sisters, Eleanor Mansfield of Florida, and Virginia Kuechle of Michigan; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Francioni, Taylor & Lopez Funeral Home, 1200 10th and Atkins Avenues, Neptune. A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A private cremation will follow. HILDA MAY JOHNSON, 90, of RED BANK
HILDA MAY JOHNSON, 90, of RED BANK, died Sunday at Holmdel Convalescent Center. She was a teacher in various New Jersey school districts. She was a member of Red Bank United Methodist Church, Red Bank. Born in Red Bank, she lived in the area all her life.
She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Eva McGill Johnson. There are no known survivors.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank. Services will be noon Thursday. Donations to Cook College of Rutgers University are preferred.
