Joseph V. Walsh Jr., 81, of Mansfield, formerly of Parlin, died Friday.
He was the husband of Elizabeth Hughes Walsh.

MARJORIE KORODAN, AGE 66, PERTH AMBOY
Majorie Korodan, 66, died Friday at her home in Barnegat.
Born in Astoria, Long Island, N.Y., she lived in Perth Amboy for 56 years, and in Barnegat for the past two years.
She was a member of Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church in Perth Amboy. She was a 1952 graduate of Perth Amboy High School.
She was predeceased by her parents, Alexander and Anna Horvath, and a brother, Alexander.
Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Louis Korodan; her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Mitchell Fontana of Chesterfield, Va.; a brother, John Horvath of Toms River; and two grandchildren, Mitchell Jr. and Daniel.
Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Zylka Funeral Home, 513-515 state St., Perth Amboy, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Church. Burial will be at Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery in Fords.
Friends may call tomorrow 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m.

PETER SZWAJA, AGE 72, SOUTH AMBOY
Peter Szwaja, 72, of St. Augustine, Fla., died Thursday.
Born in Poland, he came to the United States in 1957, living in Perth Amboy and South Amboy. He moved to St. Augustine seven years ago.
He retired after many years as a carpenter for Kaplan & Son Co. in North Brunswick.
He was a member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church in South Amboy, and the South Amboy Boat Club.
Surviving are his wife, Marie Rose (nee Brassart) Szwaja; three daughters, Marie Therese Szwaja of Cranbury, Wanda Rahim of Edison and Jacqueline Switzer of South Amboy; his son, Richard Szwaja of South Amboy; his sister, Sophie Piotrowski of North Brunswick; his granddaughter, Olivia Rahim; and two grandsons, Michael Switzer and Adam Rahim.
Services will be Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. from the Kurzawa Funeral Home, 338 Main St., South Amboy, followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass at Sacred Heart R.C. Church.
Visiting hours are tomorrow 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m.

STEPHEN J. SABO, AGE 70, NORTH BRUNSWICK
Stephen J. Sabo, 70, died Friday at home.
Born in Highland Park, he lived in North Brunswick the past 40 years.
He served in the Air Force from 1950 to 1954.
Surviving are his wife, the former Anne Psiuk; two daughters, Stephanie Giglia and Debbie Denardo, both of Clarksburg; his son, Stephen C. Sabo of North Brunswick; two sisters, Mary Jane Sacco of Edison and Gail Meshofski of Yardville; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Peter's R.C. Church, New Brunswick. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow 2 p.m.-4 p.m. and 7 p.m.-9 p.m.

WILLIAM KANE, AGE 86, ISELIN
William Kane of Iselin died Tuesday at Kimball Medical Center in Lakewood. He was 86.
Born in Jersey City, he lived in Iselin for the past 47 years.
He was an Army veteran, serving during World War II.
He was a trucking supervisor for American Can Co. in Jersey City for many years, retiring in 1972.
His wife of 61 years, the late Katherine Kane, died in January of this year.
Surviving are his son, Edward W. Kane M.D. of Vista, Calif.; two daughters, Kathryn Kane-Grogan of Howell and Judith Cosgrove of La Canada, Calif., and three grandchildren, Sean, Kristyn and Ryan Cosgrove.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:15 a.m. Tuesday at St. Cecelia's R.C. Church, Iselin. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Iselin. Arrangements are by Gosselin Funeral Home, 660 New Dover Road, Edison.

ALBERT MC LEAN, 85, of ASBURY PARK
ALBERT MC LEAN, 85, of ASBURY PARK, died Friday at the Center for Hospice Care at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. He was the head securiobitpix ty guard at Asbury Tower for the past 20 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1333, Asbury Park.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Jane Sheridan. Surviving are his wife, Bernice; his four daughters and three sons-in-law, Audrey Mazza of Cold Springs, N.Y., Marcia and Fred Herschede of South Bend, Ind., Maureen and Richard Worth of Ocean Township, and Wendy and Joris Tielkes of Amsterdam, Netherlands; five grandchildren, Sabrina Sheridan, Jody and Kevin Hynes, Alison Herschede and Adam Worth; one great-grandson, Robbie Sheridan; his companion, Ming, and many friends from Asbury Tower.
A memorial service will be held 4:45 p.m. Saturday at the Asbury Tower. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice Center, Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch, NJ 07740. The Ely Funeral Home, 3316 Route 33, Neptune, is in charge of arrangements.

AMALIA CELENDANO-MALASPINE, 86, of HAZLET
AMALIA CELENDANO-MALASPINE, 86, of HAZLET, died Friday at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She was a homemaker. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Born in Elizabeth, she lived in Brooklyn and Coney Island before moving to Hazlet eight years ago.
Her husband, James Malaspine, died in 1953. Surviving are a son, Dominick L. of Hazlet; a daughter, Camille S. Malaspine of Brooklyn; three brothers, Louis Celendano of Holmdel, Ralph Celendano of Brooklyn, and Paul Celendano of Hollywood, Fla.; and two granddaughters, Lisa Durovich of Old Bridge and Stacey Malaspine of Eatontown.
Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, 115 Tindall Road, Middletown. A funeral gathering will be held 8 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A funeral Liturgy will be offered 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Keyport. Interment will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport. CYRIL W. "BILLY" PARSONS, 87, of MANASQUAN
CYRIL W. "BILLY" PARSONS, 87, of MANASQUAN, died in his sleep yesterday at Lakeview Care Center, Lakewood. He was an automotive truck mechanic for Leroy M. Sterges Studebaker and Willies Overland Jeep dealership, Mount Vernon, N.Y., for 28 years before retiring in 1957. He was a staff sergeant in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in both the Mount Vernon, N.Y., and Manasquan. During his years in Manasquan, he was considered a handyman extraordinaire and Paramount Diner bon vivant. Born in Woodhaven, Long Island, he lived in Mount Vernon, N.Y., before moving to Manasquan in 1970.
An orphan, he leaves behind a small circle of friends whom he always considered his family.
His funeral will be private and under the direction of the Neary-Quinn Funeral Home, 39 South St., Manasquan. Interment will be at the Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
