Ann S. Lewandoski
Services were held Jan. 10, 1990 at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Keyport, for Ann Schimanski Lewandoski, 71, of Keyport, who died Jan. 6, 1990 at Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital. Philadelphia.
Lewandoski was a communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church and St. Joseph's School PTA and a past member of the Keyport High Mothers Club.
She celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary in August.
Born in Keyport, she lived there all her life.
Surviving are her husband, Adam; a son, Adam, Matawan; a daughter, Barbara Morse, Hazlet Township; a sister, Sophia Devino, Keyport, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Interment was at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Keyport.

Mabel H. Johnson
Services were held Jan. 10, 1990 at H.L. Scott Funeral Home, Bclford, Middlctown Township, for Mabel H. Johnson, 89 of Port Monmouth Middlctown, who died Jan. 6, 1990 at Riverview Medical Center Red Bank.
Her husband, Charles, died in 1956.
Surviving are two sons, Walter and Charles, both Port Monmouth; a sister, Lillian Messier, Irvington; two grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Edward M. Egan
Services were held Jan. 10, 1990 at St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church. North Middletown, Middletown Township, for Edward M. Egan, 52, of Middletown, who died Jan. 7, 1990 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank.
Egan was a stage technician for the New Jersey Highway Authority, working at the Garden State Arts Center, Holmdel, before retiring six months ago. Prior to that he served in the merchant marine for one year, and was a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
He was a member of Elks Lodge 2179; Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2179. both Belford, Middlctown, and a communicant of St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church.
Egan was born in Jersey City and lived in Bayonne before moving to Middletown 32 years ago.
Surviving are two brothers, John, Paramus, and William, Middletown; two sisters, Dolores Lunney, Middletown, and Hazel Baklarz, North Middletown; 14 nieces and nephews and six grandnieces and grandnephews.

Margaret Ryan Duncan
Margaret Ryan Duncan. 88, of Leonardo, Middletown Township, died Dec. 26, 1989 at home.
She was a member of St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, Atlantic Highlands.
Duncan was born in New York and lived in Belleville before moving to Leonardo 35 years ago.
Her husband, James, died in 1959.
Surviving are two sons. James and John, both Leonardo; four daughters, Margaret Ham. Dorothy Monahan, and Marion Mazzarella, all Leonardo, and Ellen Kearny, Belleville; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

John H. Brown
Services were held Jan. 4, 1990 at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Union Beach, for John H. Brown, 73, of Leonardo, Middletown Township, who died Jan. 1, 1990 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.
He was a nickel plater for about four veins before leaving on disability in 1953.
He was a communicant of Holy Family Roman Catholic Church.
Brown was born in Hoboken and lived in Leonardo for several years.
His wife, the former Esther Castroll, predeceased him.
Surviving are four sons, John and James, both Jersey City; Arthur. Keansburg, and Raymond, Union Beach; four daughters.
Rita Joyce, Union Beach; Claire Milford; Keansburg; Jean Anderson. Pennsylvania, and Virginia Leonard, Leonardo; a sister, Frieda Lane, Seattle; 34 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Interment was at Shoreland Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hazlet.

Helen M. Rapp

Bedle Funeral Home, Keyport, for Helen M. Rapp, 81, of Keyport who died Jan. 4, 1990 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.
Rapp owned Helen M. Rapp Dress Shop, Keyport, retiring after many years.
Born in New York, she lived in Keyport for more than 50 years.
She was a member of First Church of Christ Science, Keyport.
Her husband, Frederick V., died in 1974.
Surviving are a son, William F., Holmdel; a daughter, Joan Bothast, South Pasadena, Calif., a sister, Rosalie Zaleski, Metuchen, and four grandchildren.

Elsa A. Bledsoe
Elsa A. Bledsoe, 92, of Holmdel, died Jan. 2, 1990 at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel.
During the 1920s, she owned and managed Petersen's Real Estate, and served as treasurer of Board of Relators of the Oranges and Maplewood Township. Later she was secretary to the president of Ryan, Beck & Co., a brokerage firm in West Orange, for many years before retiring 13 years ago.
She was also a musician, having studied voice and piano, appearing as a soloist with the Newark Symphony Orchestra: the Grace Episcopal Church Choir, Orange, and the First Congregational Church, Montclair.
She was a member of the Oratorio Society of New Jersey.
Bledsoe was born in East Orange and lived in Cedar Grove Township and West Orange before moving here eight years ago.
Her husband, Harry C, died in 1968.
Surviving are two daughters Margery Owen Bostrom, Red Bank, and Elizabeth Owen Greene, Poughkeepsie. N.Y.; two stepsons, Harry, Avoca, Iowa, and George, Council Bluffs, Iowa; two stepdaughters, Dorothy Barber, Bridgewater Township, and Geraldine Slattery, Bryn Mawr, Pa.; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Elvira C. Pohl Hooson
Elvira C. Pohl Hoosone 82, of Hazlet, died Dec. 26, 1989 at home.
Hooson also known as "Betty Smith," was a distributor for Redwood Distributors, Bloomfield, for 10 years before retiring about 20 years ago.
She was born in Bloomfield and lived there before moving to Hazlet 23 years ago.
Her husband, Fred Q., predeceased her.
Surviving are a son. Robert W., Panola, Ga.; a daughter, Shirlee J. Henion, Wanaque; eight grandchildren, and 13 greatgrandchildren.

Services wer held Jan. 10, 1990 at Bomberger-Lesko Funeral Home. Scranton, Pa., for Marjane Warren, 55, of Hazlet. who died Jan. 7, 1990 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank.
Warren, who was known as "Midge," was born in Scranton and lived there before moving to Hazlet.
Surviving are her parents, Willard E. and Lucille Newberry, with whom she lived; six brothers, Donald and Kenneth, both Hazlet; Alan, Union Beach; Willard, Binghamton, N.Y.; Ronald, Dalton, Pa., and George, Hanover Township, Pa., and four sisters, Janice Fbllion, Matawan; Nancy Masters, Scranton; Jacquelyn Jameson, Allentown, Pa., and Ettc Reap, Catasauqua, Pa.
Interment was at Vally View Memorial Park, Montvale, Pa.

Margaret E. Esbrandt
Margaret E. Esbrandt, 65, of Union Beach, died Jan. 4, 1990 at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel.
Esbrandt was born in New York State and lived in Elizabeth before moving to Union Beach 38 years ago.
Her husband, Fred, died in January 1989.
Surviving are four sons, Frederick, Virginia Beach, Va.; William, Moscow, Pa.; Thomas and Keith, both Union Beach; a daughter, Gale Turner, Highlands; a brother, Lawrence Schreiber and a sister, Mary Alice Schreiber, both Elizabeth; 11 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
