Thomas R. Webb, Jr.
Thomas R. Webb, Jr., 53, of Wilkes Barre, Luzerne County, Pa., formerly of Phillipsburg, died Friday, March 17, 2000 in the VA Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, Pa.
Born Wednesday, January 15, 1947 in Easton, Pa., he was the son of the late Thomas R., Sr., and Catherine M. Clickner Webb.
He was a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Phillipsburg.
He served in the US Army in Vietnam, attained the rank of Specialist E-4 and received the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Combat Infantryman Badge and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
He is survived by a brother Robert G. and his wife, Carmela Vittorio and their daughter, Emily Webb, all of Ardmore, Pa.
Rev. Gary Walbert, interim pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church will officiate funeral services which will be held 8:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg. A calling hour will be held from 7:00 p.m. until time of services in the funeral home on Tuesday.
Private cremation will be held at the convenience of the family following the services Tuesday. Military Honors and burial of the cremated remains will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 25, in Fairmount Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
Frances E. Wellen
Frances E. Wellen, 95, of Phillipsburg, died Thursday, July 3, 2008 in Manor Care Health Services, Palmer Township, Pa.
Frances was a member of the Phillipsburg Elks Ladies Auxiliary, the Phillipsburg Senior Center, the Sunny Seniors and was a March of Dimes Volunteer.
Born October 5, 1912 in Phillipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Lumneck Baumgartner.
She and her husband, Henry J. "Toad" Wellen observed their seventy-fifth wedding anniversary in June.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Neil J. of Bethlehem, Lawrence and his wife, Shirley of Palmer Township and James and his wife, Molly of Lake Iosco, NJ; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Two brothers, William and Joseph and a sister, Lydie Hunt all died earlier.
A service of remembrance will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main Street, Phillipsburg. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m.until time of services Monday in the funeral home.

James R. White, Sr.
James R. White, Sr., 38, of Palmer Twp., died Monday, July 17, 2000 in Easton.
He was a mason for the Laslo Simonca Construction Company in Bethlehem.
Born December 25, 1961 in Elizabeth, Union County, NJ, he was the son of the late Beatrice Marie White.
He was a former president of the PTA at Norwescap in Phillipsburg.
He is survived by his wife, the former Tara Denise Watkins; two sons, James R. Jr., of Wilson Boro and Shawn Sefcik of Easton; two daughters, Nikia Young of Jacksonville, Fla and Chachara White of Easton and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 8:00 p.m. Thursday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Private cremation will take place following the services. Calling hours will be held from 6:00 p.m. until time of services in the funeral home on Thursday.
The family will accept memorial contributions, made payable to his wife, and sent in care of the funeral home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ 08865.
Neal H. Wieder
Neal H. Wieder, 61, of Phillipsburg, died Thursday, January 4, 1995 in Warren Hospital.
He was a carpenter and roofer for many years and last worked for Roger Locandro, Jr., Inc. In Stockton, NJ
Born December 18, 1934 in Easton, he was the son of Edmond P. Wieder of Umatilla, Fla and the late Iola D. Schafer Wieder.
He served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was an Airman First Class with the 66th Field Maintenance Squad.
He was of the presbyterian faith.
He was a member of the American Legion Post Number 588; the Rice Ebner Post Association; The Order of the Fleas; Liberty Hose Co. Number 2; The Citizen's Hose Co., all of Easton and the Y.M.I.A. in Phillipsburg.
In addition to his father, he is survived by a sister, Norma W. Heimbach of Albany, NY; three half-brothers, Thomas N. Brown of Placitas, NM, Robert Wieder of Butler, NJ and William of Umatilla, Fla.; and one half-sister, Mary Anna King of So. Orange, NJ. A sister, Barbara A. Lehman died earlier.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp.

Elizabeth Williams
Elizabeth Williams, 89, of Phillipsburg, died January 5, 1992 in Warren Hospital, Phillisburg.
She was born November 17, 1902 in Birmingham, Alabama.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the Phillipsburg Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
Mark R. Williams
Mark R. Williams, 24, of Phillipsburg, died Janaury 1, 2007 in Holland Twp., NJ.
He was a plumber for Anello Mechancical, Inc., in Effort, Pa.
Born December 18, 1982 in Phillipsburg, he was the beloved son of Kimberly M. Adams Szostak and Kenneth Szostak of Phillipsburg and Mark Williams of Mt. Bethel, Pa.
He was of the Methodist faith.
Mark enjoyed all sports, but especially liked fishing and was a Giants fan.
In addition to his parents, Mark is survived by a sister, Kasey Williams of Phillipsburg NJ; maternal grandmother, Brenda Kemmerer of Phillipsburg; great-grandmother, Alice Whitmore of Oxford, NJ and Maternal grandfather, William H. Adams of Effort; paternal grandparents, Richard and Arlene Theusen of Washington, NJ and paternal great-grandmother, Isabelle Williams of Port Richey, Fla.; his companion, Jeana Winkleston of Phillipsburg; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A period of reflection will be held from 6-8pm Thursday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg.
Helen C. Wilson
Helen C. Wilson, 88, died December 25, 2003 in the Lopatcong Center, Lopatcong Twp.
Born March 19, 1915 in Manhatten, N.Y., she is a daughter of Alice Morganweck Cummings of Lopatcong Twp. and the late Robert M. Cummings.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a sister, Alice McIntyre of Belvidere, N.J.; and a niece and a nephew.
Services will be private. There will be no calling hours. The Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S. Main St., Phillipsburg is handling the arrangements.
Harry E. Wolf
Harry E. Wolf, 53, of Phillipsburg, died Sunday, June 23, 2002 in his home.
He was a former laborer for area farms, including the Kinney Farm in Harmony. He also worked for the Warren County Road Department.
Born March 24, 1949 in Phillipsburg, he was the son of the late Stanley G. Sr., and Lucy Young.
Survivors include three brothers, Stanley G., Jr., and Barry, both of Easton and Larry of Oakridge, NJ and a sister, Ethel Pene of Oxford, NJ.
Services will be held graveside at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Calvary Cemetery, Harmony. The Rev. Alan Schaarschmidt, pastor of the Church of the Blessed Hope of the Nazarene, Mercer St., Phillipsburg will officiate the services.There will be no calling hours.

Stanley G. Wolf, Jr.
Stanley G. Wolf, Jr., 67, of Easton, died Thursday, October 24, 2002 in Easton Hospital.
He was a foreman with the Warren County Road Department for many years.
Born May 23, 1935 in Easton, he was the son of the late Stanley G., Sr., and Lucy Young Wolf.
He was an Army veteran.
He is survived by two brothers, Barry of Easton and Larry of Oakridge, N.J. and a sister, Ethel Pene of Oxford, N.J. A brother Harry E. died earlier.
A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Cremation and burial will be private.
Hazel S. Woodruff
Hazel S. Woodruff, 86, of Ross Twp., Saylorsburg, formerly of Palmer Twp., died Friday, January 2, 1998 in the Easton Nursing Center, Easton.
Born April 15, 1911 in Phillipsburg, she was the daughter of the late John M., Sr. and Jenny M. Gross Smith.
She was of the Lutheran faith.
Her husband, Chester W. Woodruff died in 1971.
She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte M. DeYoung of Saylorsburg, Joan H. Thatcher of Palmer Twp., five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Four brothers, John M. Jr., Jenning G., David R. and James S. and a sister, Gertie Smith all died earlier.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in the Stewartsville Lutheran Cemetery, Stewartsville, NJ. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of services Monday in the funeral home.
Helen M. Wynkoop
Helen M. Wynkoop, 56, of Bethlehem Twp., Pa., formerly of Chambers St., Phillipsburg, NJ, died Friday, May 7, 1993 in her home.
She was employed by Ingersoll-Rand Co. in Phillipsburg from 1974 until 1992 in a variety of positions including clerk, typist and secretary in different divisions within the company, including Cameron Shipping, Cameron Mfg., Cameron Purchasing, Turbo Purchasing, Sales and Nuclear/Navy Planning.
Born March 14, 1937 in Alpha, NJ, she was the daughter of John Vargo, of Alpha and the late Helen Dekmar Vargo.
A 1955 graduate of Phillipsburg High School, Helen was a majorette in the school band. She later served as head majorette for the high school's Alumni Band from the late 1950's until the mid 1970's.
She was of the Presbyterian faith.
Helen and her husband, Walter R. Wynkoop, Jr. observed their 34th wedding anniversary last June 7th.
In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by two daughters, Denise M. and Lori J., both of Bethlehem Twp.; a son Walter R. III of Forks Twp. and a brother, John Vargo of Palmer Twp.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 S Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp., Pa. Calling hours will be held from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.

Veronica Wynkoop
Veronica "Ronnie" Wynkoop, 75, of Phillipsburg, died peacefully Thursday, November 8, 2007 in Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg.
Ronnie worked at Warren Hospital as a unit secretary for a total of twenty years, retiring in 1995. She previously worked at Nytronics and Sheridan Printing, both in Alpha, NJ.
The youngest of nine children, Ronnie was born Christmas Day, 1931 in Phillipsburg, to the late Edward C., Sr., and Veronica McNulty Casey.
She was a member of the Phillipsburg High School Class of 1951.
A devoted member of the Catholic faith, she was a member of St. Philip and St. James Roman Catholic Church, Phillipsburg since her Baptism.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Amercias, Court Warren 389 and was a founding member of the former Warren County Junior Catholic Daughters.
She enjoyed taking part in the many activities of the Phillipsburg Area Chapter, #4704 of A.A.R.P., and playing bingo in the Phillipsburg area, but most especially, the Phillipsburg Senior Center.
She and her husband, Ronald W. Wynkoop, Sr., were married on Valentines Day, 1953.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Ronald W. Jr., of Merritt Island, Florida and Timothy E. and his wife, Lisa, of Phillipsburg; three daughters, Karen W. Kelly and her husband, Donald E. Jr., of Lopatcong Township; Dianne L. Vevasis and her husband Ray, of Shenandoah, Pa, and Michelle Craig of Naples, Florida; a sister, Margaret Salitz of New Brunswick, NJ; ten grandchildren, Ronald W., III, Christopher, Rebekah, Juliana, Abby, and Owen Wynkoop, Jacob Tyler Vevasis, Bridget E. Kelly, Alexzandria James, KD Lorraine Richardson; two step-grandchildren, Kelly Berry and Nicholas Vevasis; four great grandchildren, Jayce, Nathan, Jocelyn and Lita Wynkoop. Among her many nieces and nephews, Ronnie would want it to be remembered that her niece, Elizabeth "Betsy" Casey Dicker had a special place in her heart, having been raised with her in the Casey family home.
She was pre-deceased by six brothers, Edward C. Jr., Charles E., Leo P., Robert J., Sr., John "Jackie" and William J. and a sister, Mary C. Ward.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Monday in the Church, 426 South Main St., Phillipsburg. Burial will be in Greenwich Cemetery, Greenwich Township. Visitation will be held Sunday from Noon until 6:00 p.m. in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home, 289 South Main Street, Phillipsburg.
Red was always Ronnie's favorite color, and in her honor, her family asks those attending the visitation or services to consider wearing something Red! She would appreciate it.

Mary Jean Yates
Mary Jean Zamorsky Yates, 46, of Phillipsburg, formerly of Pottersville, NJ, died Friday, April 25, 1997 in her home. She has lived in Phillipsburg for the past 16 years.
She was a cafeteria worker working at Warren Hospital for four years and last worked for Service America at Ingersoll-Dresser Pump for one year, both in Phillipsburg. She last worked August of 1996.
Born August 3, 1950 in Somerville, NJ, she was the daughter of Ignatz and Isabel Thompson Zamorsky, of Gladstone, NJ.
She was of the Catholic faith and was a former member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Manville, NJ.
She graduated from North Hunterdon Regional High School in 1968.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by three sons, John A. James, IV, of Broadway, NJ, Justin A. Dugans and Richard A. Dugans, Jr., both of Phillipsburg; three daughters, Kerri A. Richline, Brandy L. James and Danielle Yates, all of Phillipsburg; four brothers, Richard J. of Wilson Boro, PA, Daniel P. of Bethlehem, PA, Dennis G. of Branchburg, NJ and Lee T. of Far Hills, NJ; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Noto-Wynkoop Funeral Home 289 South Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ. Calling hours will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Greenwich Cemetery, Greenwich Twp., NJ.
