He was a Delegate to Bergen County Building Laborers Pension and Welfare Fund, trustee for Bergen County Welfare Fund. He retired from Local # 28 which was taken over by # 346 which was taken over by # 592. Beloved husband of the late Patricia A. Volmer (nee Devine). Devoted father of Edward B. Volmer and his wife Lucille and the late Daniel and Everett A. Jr. Dear brother of Lee Thayer and the late Bertha McDermott. Loving grandfather of Edward B. Jr., Daniel R., John E. and Nicole D.
