Lois M. Radimer
FRANKFORD — Lois M. Radimer, 87, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2007, at Newton Memorial Hospital.
Born in Brooklyn, N. Y., Mrs. Radimer lived in Little Falls before moving to Frankford in 1972. She was the president and bookkeeper of Maat Realty Co. in Branchville, which she co-owned with her late husband, Charles J. Radimer. Mrs. Radimer was a member of the Lafayette Federated Church.
The daughter of the late John and Eloise Grace Hibbard Martin, Mrs. Radimer was predeceased by her husband, Charles J. Radimer, on March 3, 2002.
She is survived by three daughters, Janet Wilkerson of Wantage, Nancy Ryan of Long Valley, and Joann Hooper of Horseshoe Bend, Idaho; three sons, James Radimer of Tupper Lake, N.Y., Bradford Radimer of Kingston, and J. Todd Radimer of Branchville; fifteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 7 p.m. at the Lafayette Federated Church on Route 15 in Lafayette. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 to 11:30 a.m. at the Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main Street, Branchville, with interment to follow at 1 p.m. in Valleau cemetery in Ridgewood.

Fay R. Ayers
FRANKFORD — Fay R. Ayers, 90, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007.
Mrs. Ayers was raised in Franklin and was the second of eight children born to Tomasina and Anthony Riggio. In 1942, she married
Ernest E. Ayers of Frankford and they created a home for their family at Culver Lake.
Mrs. Ayers' life centered around her family and life-long friends. She was the glue that held a wide array of loved ones together, and her home was a gathering place filled with laughter and Sunday pancake breakfasts. Creative and feisty, she had an unparalleled zest for life and a tenacious spirit that was an inspiration to everyone who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Ayers is survived by her children, Jane, Buzz, Lewis and Robert Ayers and their families; as well as her brother and sisters, nieces, nephews and life-long friends.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7, at Christ Union Chapel in Culver Lake.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Blue Ridge Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 232, Branchville, N.J. 07826 or Christ Union Chapel, P.O. Box 25, Branchville, N.J. 07826.

Antoinette A. Drazenovich
MONTAGUE — Antoinette A. Drazenovich, 72, died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, at home. Born and raised in Newark, Mrs. Drazenovich moved to Montague 20 years ago.
The daughter of the late Leonard and Anna Mattia Adamo, Mrs. Drazenovich is survived by her husband, William; two children, Thomas Andrisano of Montague and Teresa Ann Sieben of Montague; and two brothers, Leonard Adamo of Pennsylvania and Frank Adamo of East Hanover.
Funeral services are pending and are under the direction of the Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St., Branchville.
Anna Gallo Mills
NEWTON — Anna Gallo Mills, 79, died peacefully in her home on Thursday morning, Oct. 4, 2007. Mrs. Mills joins her husband, James Mills, who died in April 2006.
Mrs. Mills was a lifelong resident of Newton. The youngest of 12 children, she was born at 87 Trinity St., graduated from Newton High School in 1946 and worked at J.J. Newberry, The Anken Company and United Telephone Company. In 1947, she met and married
World War II Navy veteran James Mills. Together, they built a home on Lincoln Place and had three children. She taught at the YMCA Nursery School and helped her husband run Mills Garage.
In 1978, Mrs. Mills achieved a milestone by becoming a grandmother, graduating from Centenary College and turning 50. She would go on to teach at Halsted Street School, Reverend Brown, The Montessori School, and many local schools. She started a reading and comprehension program for the Sussex County Association for Retarded Citizens that became Project Discovery at Sussex County Community College. She was very active in the community and volunteered at SCARC, Karen Ann Quinlan Center, Newton Memorial Hospital, Meals on Wheels, The Newton High School Pride Foundation, the Homestead and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, and was a Eucharistic Minister. She was the Queen of Anna's Angels, a local Red Hat Society Chapter. In 2002, Mrs. Mills was named distinguished woman of the year by the Boy Scouts of America.
Mrs. Mills is survived by her children, James Mills and his wife, Kathy, of Hudson, N.H., Nancy Mills and her husband, Edward Dick, of Hoosick, N.Y., and Michael Mills and his partner, Mark McGrath of New York City, N.Y.; as well as her three beloved grandchildren, Kelly, Melissa and Cory Mills-Dick. She leaves behind a twin sister, Virginia Morville; sisters, Irene DeGroat and Jeanne Rosano; brothers, Raymond Rosano, Albert and Ernest Gallo, as well as many nieces and nephews, including Michael II Rosano and Cindy DeGroat Rich.
A statement from the family said that "Mrs. Mills had a passion for life. She laughed often, smiled always and loved everyone. Her spirit will live on in her many friends and family. Newton has truly lost a native daughter."
Visitation will be held at Illif-Ruggiero Funeral Home, 156 Main St., Newton, on Sunday, Oct. 7, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Oct. 8.
Mildred E. Johnson Almes
BLOOMFIELD — Mildred E. Johnson Almes, 87, died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007 at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge. She lived in Edison most of her life before moving to Bloomfield 11 years ago. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Oak Tree Volunteer Fire Department in Edison.
Mrs. Almes was the wife of the late Victor E. Almes; the mother of Gail Parsons and her husband, Harry, of Bloomfield and Donna Macerino and her husband, Anthony, of Vernon; and the grandmother of Jennifer, Megan, David, Timothy, Douglas and Kayla.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the O'Boyle Funeral Home at 309 Broad St., Bloomfield, on Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will take place at Hillside cemetery, Plainfield. Friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lucy Vaughan Bennett
SPARTA — Lucy Vaughan Bennett, 93, died at home on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lafayette, she moved to Sparta more than 69 years ago.
Mrs. Bennett was a wife, mother, and homemaker. She also worked as a bookkeeper for the family business, F.W. Bennett and Son Excavating, Sand and Gravel in Sparta from 1938 until her retirement in 1986. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Newton.
She was predeceased by her husband, George Vincent Bennett in 1985; her parents, Judson V. Vaughan and Edna M. Simmons; two brothers, Paul Vaughan and Jay Vaughan; and three sisters, Marjorie Mahnken, Leonora Murphy and Frances Vaughan.
Her survivors include two sons, Frank W. Bennett and his wife, Beverly, of Sparta, and Judson V. Bennett and his wife, Deanna, of Sparta; and two daughters, Lillian B. Killeen and her husband, Michael, of Sparta and Edna B. Pett of Erie, Pa. Mrs. Bennett is also survived by one brother, Daniel L. Vaughan of Lafayette; one sister, E. Marie Vaughan of Lafayette; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Iliff-Ruggiero Funeral Home at 156 Main St., Newton. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sparta Presbyterian cemetery in Sparta.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be made in Mrs. Bennett's name to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, Newton, or to the First Baptist Church of Newton.
Sara Keller
HARDYSTON — Sara "Sally" Keller, 64, died unexpectedly on Monday, Oct. 1, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Keller was born in Middletown, N.Y., and had resided in Franklin for 18 years, moving to Hardyston in 1984.
Mrs. Keller was a graduate of George School in Newtown, Pa., and Centenary College, Hackettstown. She was the president and co-owner/operator of Westwind Hall in Franklin for 35 years. She was a member of the Chinkchewunska Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.
Her husband, Ronald Keller, died in 2005. Mrs. Keller is survived by two sons, Bill and Kurt Keller of Mechanicsburg, Pa.
A graveside service will be held Friday, Oct. 5, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Clove cemetery on Route 23 in Wantage. Friends may call at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main Street, Franklin today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Dorothea Bergman
Died Wednesday Sept. 5, 2001 at St. Clare's Hospital Denville, NJ. She was born in Newark, and had lived in the Cedar Lake Section of Denville since 1956, prior in Livingston, NJ. She was a bookkeeper for Denville Township Finance Dept, for 15 years retiring in 1983. She belonged to the Denville Senior Citizens Club, the Rockaway Presbyterian Church in Rockaway, and the Cedar Lake Community Club, in Denville.

Arthur R. DelVescovo
Died Tuesday Sept. 4th. after a 4 year battle with ALS. He was 53 years old. Mr. DelVescovo was born in Belleville, NJ and lived in Whippany and East Hanover before moving to Jefferson Twp. 25 years ago. Mr. DelVescovo was employed as a salesman for TV Preview Magazine in Morris County area for 11 years then as a salesman for All Concrete Cutting Inc. South Hackensack, NJ for the last eight years.Mr. DelVescovo was a coach for the Jefferson Twp. Little League and Ice Hockey teams.

IDA MAY STUHMER
Died on Monday September 10, 2001 at her home in the Cedar Lake Section of Denville, N. J., where she has lived since 1941. She was born in Washingtonville, New York and later lived in Walkill, N. Y.
She was a Homemaker most of her life. During WWII she had worked at Picatinny Arsenal filling bullets for the war effort.
She had been a member of the Cedar Lake Community Club in Denville, N. J.
Her Husband Frank E. Sr. died on November 15, 1976.
She is survived by three daughters, Myrtle Bieberich of Spencer, NY, Louise Floyd of Succasunna, N. J., Arlene Yater of Ledgewood, N. J., and Frank E. Jr. of Lake Hopatcong, N. J.
She had 14 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and one Great Great Grandddaughter.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday September 12, 2001 at 11:00 A.M. at the Norman Dean Home For Services, by Rev. George Imhoff, of the Denville Community Church. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Wednesday morning from 9:00 A. M. until time of the services.

NORMAN B. TAYLOR
Norman B. Taylor 74, died on Tuesday September 11, 2001 at St. Clare's Hospital in Denville, NJ. He was born in Wharton, NJ, and had lived in Denville, Rockaway, and Dover before finally settling in the Indian Lake section of Denville 22 Years ago.
Norman had served in the U.S. Marine Corp, during WWII.
He had owned and operated his own building construction company, Norman B. Taylor Contractor, in the Morris area before retiring in 1991.
He was a member of the Cincinnati Masonic Lodge #3 F. and A. M. in Morristown, NJ. Where he had served as a Marshall for over 22 years.
He was also a member of the Scottish Rite in New Jersey.
He was a member of the Salaam Temple in Livingston, NJ. He had served as a Trustee since 1996, and was the current President of the Trustees at the time of his death. He had also served as a Co-Chaired of the Shrine Circus for six years.
He had served on the board of directors of the N. J. Foundation for the Blind, in Denville, NJ.
He is also a member of the Board of Directors and Trustee, for the Lakeland Hills Y. M. C. A., in Mt. Lakes, NJ.
He has been a member of the Indian Lake Community Club, in Denville, NJ.
He is survived by his wife Helen M. nee Frank, with whom he was married
to for 45 years. A Daughter Lori Halsey, of Boonton Twp., NJ, and a Son W. Burton Taylor, of Jefferson, N.C.. A Grandson Alan Halsey, of Boonton Twp., NJ. His Sister Janice Altieri, of Monroe Twp., NJ His StepMother Florence Taylor of Harleysville, Pa. A Grandson Timothy Taylor died in 1991.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday September 15, 2001 at 2:00 PM at the Salaam Temple 369 East Mt. Pleasant Ave. Livingston, N. J. 07039.
