Arthur C. Caisse
NORTH HAMPTON - Arthur C. "Bo" Caisse, 44, of Granite Post Green, died Monday, Sept. 30, 2002, in Exeter Hospital.
He was born June 17, 1958, in Lowell, Mass., the son of the late Arthur M. and Margaret (Drolet) Barboza and was raised in Lowell. He had resided in North Hampton for 20 years.
He attended Lawrence (Mass.) High School.
Mr. Caisse had been disabled for many years.
He enjoyed eating at the Dolphin Grill in Salisbury, Mass.
He is survived by his wife, Robin L. (Corcoran) Caisse of North Hampton; two daughters, Jessica M. Caisse and Chelsea C. Caisse, both of North Hampton; five brothers, Stephen Caisse of North Andover, Mass., Vincent Barboza of Plaistow, Joseph Barboza of Salisbury, Lawrence Caisse of Pembroke, Mass., and David Perry of Salisbury; two sisters, Denise Falwell of Atkinson and Ann Blanchard of Windham; his father- and mother-in-law, Donald and Phyllis Corcoran of Methuen, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two brothers.
Memorial services will be held Friday at 5 p.m. in Hampton United Methodist Church, 525 Lafayette Road, Hampton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in their time of need.

John J. Doyle
EXETER - John Jacob Doyle, 46, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002.
He was born Jan. 15, 1956, in Lexington, Mass., the son of the late Dr. John and Mrs. Darlene B. (Lackender) Doyle, and was a graduate of Lexington High School.
Mr. Doyle was employed by the Exeter Highway Department for 15 years.
He was an active member of the Sons of the American Legion and served as District 3 Commander of the Exeter Sons of the American Legion. He was recently awarded an honorary lifetime membership in recognition of his many contributions to the organizations.
He was an avid golfer.
He is survived by two sisters, Kathleen Volk of Franktown, Colo., and Nancy Taylor of Manchester; two brothers, Brian Doyle of Northbridge, Mass., and David Doyle of Manchester; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, Oct. 19, at 1 p.m. in the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter. Friends may call at the funeral home from noon until the hour of the service. Burial will follow in Exeter Cemetery.

John T. Newell Jr.
HAMPTON - John T. "Jack" Newell Jr., 74, of 39 Mace Road, died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, in Exeter Hospital.
He was born in Framingham, Mass., the son of the late John T. and Helen (Davis) Newell. He was raised in Millis, Mass., and had resided in Hampton since 1961.
He was a 1946 graduate of Millis High School, and a graduate of Fitchburg State College with a degree in industrial arts. He received his master’s degree from Bridgewater State Teachers College in 1960.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II serving aboard the USS Randolph.
Mr. Newell was an educator for 32 years. He taught industrial arts and U.S. history at Rye Junior High School for 29 years, retiring in 1990. During his tenure he served the school intermittently as principal. He had previously taught at the junior high school in Millis.
He was an active member of Trinity Episcopal Church, where he served as junior warden and was a delegate to convocation. He served on the building committee and physically helped build the new addition to the church. He enjoyed volunteering with the elderly of the parish and making crafts for the annual church Christmas fair.
He was a member of Alpha Lodge, A.F. & A.M., Framingham, Mass.; N.H. American Legion Post No. 22; N.H. Teachers Association; and was a life member of the National Education Association.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Ann F. (Wait) Newell of Hampton; one son, John T. "Skip" Newell III of Fairport, N.Y.; two daughters, Sheryl A.N. Kellett of Salem, and Helen M.P. Newell of North Andover, Mass.; five grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Newell of Salem and Alan Newell of Murphy, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother, Richard Newell.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Remick Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Trinity Episcopal Church, Hampton.

Marjorie M. Scully
RYE - Marjorie M. (Creteau) Scully, 76, of 13 Wallis Road, died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, at her residence following a brief illness.
She was born Sept. 24, 1926, in Rochester, the daughter of the late George A. and Nellie L. (Nangle) Creteau. She had resided in Salt Lake City, Utah, and Kittery, Maine, before moving to Rye in 1953.
She was a 1943 graduate of Spaulding High School, Rochester, and a 1948 graduate of Boston University, Sargent College, where she majored in physical therapy.
Mrs. Scully was a homemaker and had been physical therapist at the old Portsmouth Rehabilitation Center for more than 15 years. She had previously been a physical therapist in Salt Lake City.
She was a communicant of St. Theresa Church, Rye Beach, where she served as church organist for 30 years and had a special appreciation for Marian hymns. She was an active participant with the fall church bazaar, contributing many hours and knitted and craft items every year. She was known for her lobster stew.
She volunteered at eldercare facilities in Portsmouth and Rye and had a particular devotion to St. George Maronite Catholic Church in Dover.
Mrs. Scully was a member of RSVP and was serving as president of the 3rd Friday Club.
She was an amateur radio operator using the call letters WA1KJE and enjoyed working on her computer.
She is survived by her husband, John J. Scully Sr. of Rye; two sons and their wives, John J. Jr. and Rhonda Scully of Rye and George M. Scully and Gesele Y. Torro of Bedford; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 815 Central Road, Rye Beach. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery, Rye.
Memorial donations may be made to St. George Maronite Catholic Church, 22 Chapel St., Dover, NH 03820.

Charlotte E. Thorssell
EXETER - Charlotte E. Thorssell, 79, of 5 Kossuth St., died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2002, in Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
She was born Sept. 4, 1923, in Exeter, the daughter of the late Charles W. and Mary (Lake) Caswell and was a lifelong resident of Exeter.
She was a graduate of the former Robinson Female Seminary, Exeter.
Ms. Thorssell was a hostess in the Elm Street Dining Hall at Phillips Exeter Academy for 26 years. She had also worked for Exeter Manufacturing for many years.
She was a member of Christ Church, Episcopal, Exeter.
She enjoyed taking vacations with her family.
She is survived by one brother, Norman K. Caswell of Newmarket; a brother-in-law, Arthur Baillargeon of Exeter; 11 nieces; one nephew; 17 great-nieces and nephews and three great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Pauline Baillargeon and Mary Workman.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, 141 Epping Road, Exeter.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Exeter Cemetery, Exeter.
Frank H. Wagner Sr.
EXETER - Frank H. Wagner Sr., 77, (Lt. Col. USAF Ret.) of 17 Hampton Road, died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, in Exeter Hospital after a sudden illness.
He was born Aug. 22, 1925, in Camden, N.J., the son of the late Frank L. and Rose M. (Pfeffer) Wagner. He had resided in Hampton before moving to Exeter.
Lt. Col. Wagner retired from the U.S. Air Force in January of 1975 after serving for more than 31 years of active duty during World War II, the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. He was the recipient of the Bronze Star, the Air Medal and the Air Force Commendation Medal.
He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church and was a member of the Holy Name Society. He was a member of the N.H. Chapter of the Retired Officer’s Association serving six years on their board of directors. He served three years on the board of directors of the Seacoast Visiting Nurse Association.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Martha E. (Guyton) Wagner; one son, Lt. Col. Frank H. Wagner Jr. (U.S. Army Ret.) of Austin, Tex.; two daughters, Gwynne Graves of Hampton and Victoria Marcucio of Derby, Conn.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Paul L. Wagner of Florence, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one brother, Vincent C. Wagner.
Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton.

Nadine Woss
EXETER - Nadine Woss, 68, died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2002, at her home after a sudden illness.
She was born Feb. 26, 1934, in Yugoslavia, the daughter of the late Frank and Frances (Urban) Skopal. She was raised in the Czech Republic and had resided in Exeter since 1962.
Mrs. Woss enjoyed gardening and cooking.
The widow of Wesley S. Woss, who died in 1992, she is survived by one son, Ernest Woss of Brentwood; one daughter, Irene Woss of Exeter; three grandsons; one sister, Hilda Pesakova of the Czech Republic; one brother, Frank Skopal Jr. of Venezuela; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 14 Pine St., Exeter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Michael Church, Exeter. Burial will follow in Brentwood Cemetery, Brentwood.
Patricia Dei Rossi
SUNNYVALE, Calif. - Patricia Anne Dei Rossi, 72, of 1060 South Mary Ave., died Friday, Oct. 4, 2002, in Portsmouth Regional Hospital, after a brief illness.
She was born Jan. 16, 1930, in Portsmouth, the daughter of the late William F. and Hazel (Lavigne) McIntyre, and had resided in Sunnyvale since 1955.
She was a 1947 graduate of Portsmouth High School and had attended her 55th class reunion on Sept. 28.
Mrs. Dei Rossi was a gift wrapper at the Emporium department store in Mountain View, Calif., and had previously been a telephone operator in the 1940s and 1950s.
She was a member of the Garden Club and Historical Society in Sunnyvale and had a fondness for cats and dogs.
She is survived by three sons, Dale R. Dei Rossi of Cupertino, Calif., Daniel R. Dei Rossi of Campbell, Calif., and Dwayne R. Dei Rossi of Irvine, Calif.; one daughter, Diane Rae Dei Rossi of Rhinelander, Wis.; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one sister, Carolyn Keller, and two brothers, Robert and William McIntyre.
A time of gathering was held Saturday at her niece’s home in Exeter.
