Dorothy Dionne
RYE - Dorothy "Nana Dot" Dionne, 82, of 19 Holland Drive, died Sunday, June 30, 2002, in Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
She was born April 19, 1920, in Cambridge, Mass., the daughter of Wesley and Lillian (Devine) Holland and had resided in Rye since 1966.
Mrs. Dionne was employed at the University of New Hampshire for many years.
She was a member of Senior Friends, Defazio's Tap and Line Dancers and the Jo Bridges Line Dancers.
The widow of Mark Dionne, who died in 1971, she is survived by two daughters, Nancy McCormack and her husband, Dennis, of Bradenton, Fla., and Judith Bly of Rye; one son and his wife, John and Marie Rowe of Edgecomb, Maine; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one sister, Virginia Powderly of Maynard, Mass.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by one brother, Wesley Holland.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, Central Road, Rye Beach.

Lyle Green
DELAND, Fla. - Lyle (Britton) Green, 71, died Tuesday, June 29, 2002, in London, England, where she was on holiday with her daughter, Deborah A. Sargent.
She was born May 22, 1931, in Bradford, Mass., the daughter of Curtis H. and Arlene (Stubbs) Britton. She had resided in Plaistow all her married life, moving to DeLand in 1983.
While living in Haverhill, Mass., she was a life member of the Women's City Club; past worthy matron of Fidelity Chapter No. 90, Order of the Eastern Star; past worthy High Priestess of White Shrine of Jerusalem; a member of Grace United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the choir and many church organizations.
She was a member of several hereditary societies; past regent of the Brigadier General James Brickett Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution.
In Florida she was past president of the Daytona Beach Colony of Mayflower Descendants; and state deputy governor of the Florida Mayflower Society.
She was a life member of the National Society of Magna Carta Dames and the Friends of the Society of St. Georges and Descendants of the Knights of the Garter, Windsor Castle, England, where she was the guest in 1966 and 1997.
Mrs. Green had great pride in her New England heritage.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, George Green; three daughters and their husbands, Deborah and Richard Sargent of Exeter, Jean A. and Rodney Henderson of Houlton, Maine, and Melanie G. and Andrew Ward of Danville; several grandchildren and step grandchildren; one aunt, Marjorie Stubbs Heaney of Florida; one sister, Jean Scribner of Jacksonville, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main St., Haverhill. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service.

Russell S. Hussey
NEWBURYPORT, Mass. - Russell S. Hussey, 86, of 12B Zabriskie Drive, died Tuesday, July 2, 2002, at the Seaview Retreat, Rowley, Mass.
He was born Feb. 18, 1916, in Newburyport, the son of the late Daniel and Annie (Woodman) Hussey and was a lifelong resident of Newburyport.
Mr. Hussey was an associate supervisor in the nuclear inspection division at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard where he was employed for more than 31 years.
He was a member of People's United Methodist Church where he served as chairman of the trustees and was an assistant Scoutmaster of Troop 30 which was sponsored by the church's South End Men's Club. He was a 58-year member of St. John's Lodge of Newburyport.
He was the grandson of William E. Woodman, a Civil War veteran who fought in engagements at South Mountain, Md., and Silver Spring and Fredericksburg, Va.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, sports and woodworking.
The widower of Priscilla (Short) Hussey, he is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sandra Wilson of Ipswich, Mass., Joanne and John Fish of Newburyport, and Linda and Stephen Rorick of Artesia, Calif.; one son, Russell Hussey Jr. of Hampton; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Simplicity Burial & Cremation Services, 287 High St., Newburyport. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Newburyport.

G. Michael Keohan
EXETER - G. Michael Keohan, 29, died Sunday, June 30, 2002, of a brain tumor at the Community Hospice House, Merrimack, after lengthy treatments at the New England Medical Center, Boston.
He was born Gonzalo Michael, February 24, 1973, in Colombia, South America. He came to his adoptive family, the Keohans, in 1976.
Mr. Keohan became a real estate agent in his family's real estate agency in Hampton Falls and became well-known in the local real estate community for his kindness and competence.
He enjoyed skiing, photography and graphic arts.
He is survived by his parents, Peter and Ann Keohan of Hampton Falls; one sister, Maria Keohan of Exeter; and a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be held Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will be held at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in High Street Cemetery, Hampton.
A reception will be held Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the family home, 1 River Road, Hampton Falls.
Frances Lanigan
EXETER - Frances Olmsted Lanigan, 89, died Sunday, June 23, 2002, at Langdon Place.
She was born Feb. 10, 1913, in Evanston, Ill., the daughter of George and Jennie (Mason) Olmsted. She had resided in Irvington., N.Y., moving to Exeter in 1995.
She was a 1934 graduate of Vassar College.
Mrs. Lanigan worked for a number of organizations, including The New Republic magazine.
She was a volunteer for the Archdiocese of New York for two years and as a public relations volunteer at the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers, N.Y., for 10 years, where she helped write press releases and other museum publications.
The widow of John B. Lanigan, who died in 1979, she is survived by two sons, Tim Lanigan of Washington, D.C., and Bob Lanigan of Dover, Mass.; one daughter, Susan Gilbert of Exeter, with whom she made her home; and four grandchildren.
Services were held June 26 in New York.
Ann E. Butler
EXETER - Ann E. Butler, 55, of Hayes Park, died June 28, 2002, at her home.
She was born May 9, 1947, in Weymouth, Mass., the daughter of the late Fred Gray and had resided in Hampton before moving to Exeter five years ago.
Mrs. Butler was a cashier at Price Mart in Exeter.
She was a member of the American Legion Post No. 32 Ladies Auxiliary.
The widow of Lewis Butler, who died in 2000, she is survived by two sons, Michael Drew of Camden, N.Y., and David Drew of Kittery, Maine.
Burial was in the N.H. Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
Arrangements were by the Brewitt Funeral Home, Exeter.
James L. Corcoran
EXETER - James Lucien Corcoran, 95, of RiverWoods Drive, died Tuesday, July 9, 2002, at his home.
He was born Jan. 8, 1907, in Logansport, Ind., the son of the late Anthony and Matilda (Draeger) Corcoran. He resided in Clearwater, Fla., and Westwood, Mass., moving to Exeter in 1995.
He was a graduate of Montpelier (Ind.) High School and received his bachelor of science and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.
Mr. Corcoran was an engineer for Crosby-Ashton Valve & Gauge Co., Wrentham, Mass., for 20 years.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Norwood, Mass., and enjoyed golfing.
The widower of Marjorie (Smith) Corcoran, who died Oct. 30, 2001, he is survived by one son, William Corcoran of Arlington, Mass.; one daughter, Jane Corcoran of Greenwich, Conn.; and four grandchildren.
Private graveside services will be held in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport, Conn.

Madolyn P. Davis
EXETER - Madolyn P. Davis, 77, of 1 Deer Run Road, died Tuesday, July 9, 2002, at Exeter Healthcare, Inc.
She was born July 29, 1924, in Chelsea, Mass., the daughter of the late John A. and Gladys (Fraser) Spencer. She resided in Concord, Mass., for 30 years, moving to Exeter in 1987.
Mrs. Davis was a homemaker.
She was a member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ of Brentwood.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Alan C. Davis of Exeter; two sons, Wayne C. Davis of Hampton and Spencer W. Davis and his wife Jackie Rockel of Exeter; and two grandchildren.
She was predeceased by one son, Robert A. Davis, who died in 1970.
There are no calling hours.
Services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Pilgrim United Church of Christ, Route 111A, Brentwood. Burial will be in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Concord, Mass.

Anthony Grace Jr.
NEWBURYPORT, Mass. - Anthony Grace Jr., 74, of 51st Street, died Monday, July 8, 2002, in Anna Jaques Hospital, Newburyport.
He was born June 19, 1928, in Boston, the son of the late Anthony and Emma (Barcellos) Grace.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Mr. Grace was a union carpenter.
He was a former member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks No. 909 of Newburyport.
He is survived by two sons, Anthony Grace III of Exeter and William Grace of Hampton; two daughters, Diana L. Grace and Tammy M. Grace, both of Portland, Ore.; and 10 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 9 a.m. in St. Mary's Cemetery, Storey Avenue, Newburyport.
